Purchased a Maytag top load washer in July of 2024. The 1st repair was done in Sept of 2024 the mother board -electric system went bad. This repair was done fairly quickly. The next 2 repairs took place in Dec 2024 and March 2025 both times the sensing unit went out. these repairs were also done within the week. The last issue happened 6/1/25 lid locked and can't open it. Called maytag they said it was a faulty switch more than likely and to unplug it and try plugging it back in to reset it self This did not work. In the mean time the would have a tech come out on 6/7/25 to repair it. The tech comes out sees the moldy stinking ruined clothes in the washer after the gets lid unlocked. Clothes were new socks and t shirts by the way. He tells me he can't get the parts in until the 6/14/ 25 to fix the washer. He suggested that I call maytag to see if they would reimburse me for my troubles. I call maytag and get this rude boy humming and singing while I explain what is happening and he proceeds to call me a dummy and says that I need to call Lowes sense that is where i purchased it and he hangs up on me. Needless to say I will wash my clothes in the creek before I ever purchase a maytag product agsin
