Washer started making an awful noise 6/21/26, called company, they ordered parts without even sending a repairman. It was over 2 weeks since complaint for him to come out. He said they sent the wrong parts, he was ordering something else. His notes did not update and I had to call again to schedule appointment. Now it will be almost a month since this started. My mother is incontinent and we have to do laundry almost daily, this is unacceptable! Customer service has been very nice but I still don't have a working washer.
Claimed loss: Ongoing costs of having to go to a laundromat: time, gas, money
Desired outcome: New washer

Look, I would be losing my mind too. Here is a sneaky practical angle: call Maytag back and ask to speak to the "Customer Resolution Manager" specifically. Then calmly state that you are going to buy a new washer from a local appliance store and send them the bill, since they have failed to repair under warranty within a reasonable time. Also, ask them to reimburse your laundromat expenses with receipts from the last month, because that is a direct cost from their delay. If they refuse, mention you will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (oops, sorry, I meant with your state's Attorney General consumer protection division). Meanwhile, do you have a friend with a washer who could do a couple of loads just for today? That urgency matters.
