I just had an eye-opening experience with Maytag! My Maytag front loading dryer which is 7 years old stopped heating yesterday. I figured since I have a 10-year warranty on the dryer I should be able to get it fixed. Well, I called, and they want to charge me close to $400 just to come out and service it, even though there is a warranty. I'll never buy MAYTAG again! They don't stand behind their product!

Recommendation: Don't buy MAYTAG products.
