Mavis Discount Tire Oil pan and gasket replaced

I was serviced at Bayville NJ Mavis on 11/25/2023. I had an oil pan replaced and gasket, 2 wipers, synthetic oil change and a battery. I was quoted $800. When I got the bill it was $1000, which I thought was high. I opened a Mavis charge with 0 interest for 12 months.

Today! December 1, 2023 there is oil leaking in my driveway. I have completely lost confidence with Mavis and. I plan on bringing my car to a Nissan dealer to'see what the heck was done to my car. This car only has 22,000 and it is a 2013. What is my recourse regarding this? Shabby work and the cost on a

credit card.

Qualifying Nissan dealer to do repair on Oil Pan/gasket. Mavis Bayville Manager Victoria contacted and working on calling corporate for reversal to my credit card. This was totally unnecessary as it was check twice and told all was OK. Little did I know that there was not a mechanic on Sunday

Dec. 3. I should have been told this. Brooks took care of me and when I watched my car was

not lifted to inspect. For piece of mind and safety I went to the Nissan dealership

Buyer beware! Like several other reviews listed here, if I could give negative stars, I would. I took my car here on 8/28 to have brakes and rotors installed because they were $100 less expensive than the next closest bid. After 4 days of back and forth being told they were sent the wrong parts 3 different times, I finally received my car back on 9/1...

Mavis Discount Tire Brooklyn Mavis - 832 Penn.Ave & Stanley St Brooklyn, NY 11207

One of the tires that I bought has a bubble just after 1 week of driving. I am working as an uber driver and you know it is very dangerous to drive it with passengers.

Bear in mind that the tire in question has a production date of 2022, and I think it is very grave to sell tires with an old date of production.

So, I Recommend you to prepare a replacement asap.

Mavis Discount Tire Installation of power steering pump

In August 2022, I had a Power Steering Pump and hose installed at the #0310 store, in Lawrenceville, NJ. They did the job and a year later, I had to have a new Power Steering Pump installed. I spent $400 just for the Pump at Mavis. They did not inform me in writing or otherwise, that the Pump would need to be replaced a year later. I have called the 1-800 number at least 5 times. My ticket number is #859740. The representative always defers my call to David, the Regional Manager. David has not called me back within the 48 hours that they tell me.

I am very disappointed in the customer service and will not recommend or ever go back to a Mavis Tire Center. Note that I was a regular customer for tires, and oil changes, front end alignments.

Unless I get a resolution for my issue, I will continue to give Mavis negative reviews on whatever platform they have.

Mavis Discount Tire Product Flaw and service response

10/15/23 Evoluxx tires installed Utica, NY. Invoice [protected]. 10/17/23 tire found flat in AM at Hotel. AAA found leak in stem of right rear tire. Wilkes-Barre Mavis repaired (no charge). Drove to Coconut Creek,FL (home). 10/24/23 drove to Doctor, Left Doctor to go home tire went completly flat on highway. AAA came changed tire. Determined tire got soft and wore out and went flat. Went to Tire King in Pompano Beach said didn't have replacement option (never offered when I bought tires in Utica). Replaced tire at 50% dicount. Tire was put on 9 days ago either the tire was flawed on installed improperly to have these problems. I should have at the very least gotten a new tire at no charge.

Claimed loss: At least $50.20 charged to replace tire. Invoice 0002079Never offered replacement option at time of purchase.No one took responsibilty for flaw or improper installation.Tire lasted nine days!

Mavis Discount Tire Extremely rude and unprofessional

Some of the rudest people and worst customer service I have ever dealt with . We got 3 of our tires changed yesterday 10/23/23 at their other location “tire kingdom” on OBT. Which is about 20 mins from the Daryl Carter location. When we were driving later last night one of the tires blew. Side wall and all. This morning , we figured since we live literally 5 mins or so away from the Daryl cater Mavis and the warranty states you can take the car to ANY location to get it looked at my husband called. After speaking to one employees and he was clearly annoyed and frustrated, he put his manager on the phone. My husband explained the situation again and the manger said that they couldn’t service us basically because we didn’t go there to begin with. Then he got more irritated and told my husband to “look at the phone number confirmation email and to pick up the phone and call it”. My husband has an accent. I don’t know if that has something to do with them being complete jerks or what. But I will say when we did call the Tire Kingdom to let them know what just happened with this Mavis, they called this Mavis and magically they said they’d be able to replace the tire. My husband and I are typically really understanding and don’t really get upset with people but when you’re just blatantly rude it crosses a line.

We spent almost $600 between the 3 tires and the oil change we can’t afford a tow. We had to pay someone to come to our apartment today to change it for us. We offered to bring the tire to show proof at either location for a refund. Tire Kingdom said nope, we don’t do refunds. My husband brought the tire to tire kingdom and apparently there was a hole from a nail or something. I’m still pretty positive the tire was faulty or something as well but honestly, the level of disrespect and just rudeness from especially this location was astounding. We would never recommend this location or any Tire kingdom , Mavis, or any other sister company

Desired outcome: I’d appreciate a response. I’d appreciate a refund for at least the tire that blew.

Mavis Discount Tire Having to pay for a defective brand new mavis tire.

Purchased on 9/25/2023, 4 Brand New Mavis All Season Highway Tour tires and also had rear brakes replaced. Spent $1279.00 for this service. I also, included in this bill, purchased a 4-tire extended warranty on tires.

On 10/04/2023, I found 1 tire losing air, which alerted my cars low tire warning system, while on the road. quickly filled tire back up and was just able to get it back to same shop where I purchased them. Both manager and service tech. remembered me from 9/25 and quickly determined that the tire was defective. Manager said they would replace tire, but I would still need to pay for Labor, new Warranty for tire, and other incidentals, coming out to $55.00.

Mavis Discount Tire Computerized wheel Alignment on 09/02/2023

I brought my jeep to mavis located at

I arrived at 8am to have shocks installed that I purchased from Advanced auto . I waited until the jeep was done. At 11:00 I was told that the jeep was done and paid for the service.

It was along time by the test drive was done after I paid . I was then told that the job wasn't done . By 3:00 I was able to drive away.

Yesterday the passage side tyrod came out as I was coming from physical therapy to pick up my son from his group meeting.

I lost all Steering and had to call a tow truck. I was shocked when I called the shop and I was told ."if I can't get it to them by myself they couldn't help me .

Desired outcome: I will not go to Mavis for the warranty for any reason. This was a very dangerous situation. For the store to even consider me to crash in the curb on the street and not have any concerns about my family safety.

$2526.73. When I picked up my car on September 21, fluid again poured out, whereupon I had it towed to Audi Mendham NJ, where THAT repair cost me cost me $3633.85 while it was expertly fixed.

Mavis Discount Tire Wheel alignment and new tire purchases

On 10/4 went to Mavis tire location to purchase wheel alignment and new tires. The wheel alignment was not done on my car and tires that were installed were old not new. Store clerk omitted service was done as purchased. I have reported this incident to Mavis customer service and the regional manager.
