Mavis Discount Tire

I took my Subaru legacy in for brakes today. I was quoted $950.00 with flush before brake coupon offfered by you and this would include rotors. I was then called to tell me what the car needed and the price would be the sameThe brake special was $159 and change. I asked price should be $800/850 with coupon including rotors. I was billed $980 with coupon included.

I would like a refund for the out of the blue $980 price. A total of $130/180 back or some other sought of compensation.

11/4 brought my car to mavis wantagh for tire installation and oil change. Unauthorized service were preformed with our verbally calling me. Brake system flush and alignment done without authorization. 12/5 I am now in Bellmore mavis for oil leak and crack in filter and oil light on dashboard.. multiple calls made to eri regional manager and told refund was issued!

On May 22, 2010 I brought my car to Mavis Discount Tire balance my wheels and there was a vibration in the steering wheel. Mavis Discount Tire told me that they had a special for $ 29.99 which included balancing of 4 wheels, tire rotation
and checking the alignment. The technician balanced the 4 wheels and rotated the tires and them proceeded to put the car on the alignment machine.
The technician advised that I needed an alignment so I asked the asst. manager
how much this would cost. He told me that the cost would be $ 69.99 unless the
bolts were very tight then it would be an additional $ 10.00 for a toal of $ 79.99.
I agreed and they proceeded to do the alignment.Cost was $ 29.99 plus $ 69.99
plus tax totaling $ 108.60. I put is amount on my credit card.
On May 27, 2010 I returned to Mavis Discount Tire and advised that the
vibration in the steering wheel was still there and the car pulled.
The technician took the car for a test drive and agreed with me.
The technician rebalanced the 4 wheels and put the car on the alignment machine. The technician said he could not do the alignment as the bolts were to tight but he would try his best.
The technician then took the car for a road test. I drove the car and it was worse
than before I brought the car in May 22, 2010. Mavis Discount Tire refunded the
$ 108.60. I advised the asst manager that the technician chipped my door.
He advised the corporate office and they are sending me the DVD.
