Mavis has taken over NTB. Mavis continues to make appointments/service request through NTB website. They advertise $24.99 oil change. I presented the offer for $24.99 conventional oil change. The young man behind the counter then try to assume I want Synthetic oil. He proceeded to tell me it was going to be $80.00 something dollars. No, I didn't want that. All I could think $80.00 oil change WOW seems a little on the high side. Mean while the guy helping me said that NTB website was old. I said ok but I made my appointment on NTB website and I noticed he was using NTB website not Mavis. The store in Conroe, Texas doesn't have the brand logo Mavis anywhere to let customers know. You find out after your service is completed and they God smack you with outrageous bill. To me this place wreaks for doing bad business. NTB/Mavis Conroe, Texas is a place to avoid at all cost $$$.
Desired outcome: Be upfront and quit tricking people

Last week dropped off the car for oil change/ tire rotation and a front tire leak. Picking it up was informed all our tires had a PSI of 21! (not a typo) I said you do realize that the PSI in this car is displayed on the dashboard. He said that 's what it is. I took the car to the dealer on rt.9 and the leak was easily fixed .Now the PSI gauge says the tires weren't rotated either.. I base that statement on the fact that the tire with the leak was in the same position leaving Mavis as when we left it at there. what would you think?
Desired outcome: I've never complained before but never realized they had so many complaints.

I just got an oil change at Mavis Tire location in Washington,NJ . I am a long time customer but no more! I did not tell him I needed Synthetic oil, yet they put it in my car anyway.
He originally said $37, but total cost was $77.37. This is unacceptable and horrible customer service! Eldeson also told me it would only be an hour and it took almost 2 hours to change the oil. I want at least an apology and partial refund from Corporate !

Vehicle issues since a rotor and wheel bearing replacement
The Vestal NY location replaced a wheel bearing and a rotor on my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica in August 2023. They left my hood open over night which drained the battery to my vehicle. They jumped it, however then it would not move out of park. They kept it over night to let the battery recharge. The next day we picked it up and it was fine. A week later the vehicle will not start again, we noticed the coolant was completely empty. Nothing was mentioned about the coolant being low or any fluids even though this was in their care for over 24hrs.
Desired outcome: I would like to have a replaced battery as it was their fault for draining it and we didn’t have these isssues before it was in their hands

I bought 4 new tires (Michelin Defender 08218) on 1/06/23. The mileage on my car at that time was approximately 86,100. The first time it snowed after I bought these tires, the car did not handle well. It would pull. I thought I just needed to get used to these new tires. This problem continued on so I brought back the car 4/05/23 (88,000 mileage) for Mavis to inspect why the car would slip and pull in even a little snow. At that time, they said everything was good, no issue they could find. The problem continued, in July my car slid on wet pavement. I decided to look at the tires. I could see that they were bald on the front outer edges. I took the car back to Mavis (92,172 mileage). They couldn't explain why that happened. I think that my alignment was not done properly, how else could my car have issues from the beginning and have tires worn down to the belt after being driven approximately 6,194 miles. They said the only thing they could do was sell me 2 more tires. I had to buy these tires for safety reasons, but I feel Mavis should have replaced them for free as it was their error that caused this problem.
Desired outcome: I should be reimbursed for the cost of these replacement tires. Although they gave me a good price because I had the warranty. It was their fault that the tires had worn badly since the alignment was not done properly.
Alignment
I purchased new tires under the contract that for the life of the tire I could get unlimited alignments. now that mavis has bought tire kingdom I'm told I have to pay for alignments. after preforming the alignment was when I was told id have to pay. the tire kingdom name is still on the building and the invoice. I went to tire kingdom and fully expected the contract be up helped. I believe I am due my money back as it clearly states in the contract that I have unlimited alignments for the life of my tires. not the life of the business. even such with the name on the building and the invoice you are contractually obligated to fulfill the agreement. I look forward to hearing back from you.
