My husband and I purchased approximately $4500 worth of kitchen appliances at Mother's Day. I'm unsure how much we paid for installation - but it was substantial. Lowes had the washer/dryer and dishwasher installed within days of the purchase. They work wonderfully and it has been so nice to have working.

My husband and I purchased approximately $10,000 worth of kitchen appliances at Mother's Day. I'm unsure how much we paid for installation - but it was substantial. Lowes had the washer/dryer and dishwasher installed within days of the purchase. They work wonderfully and it has been so nice to have working appliances.
Unfortunately, both new refrigerators, the gas stove and the microwave did not get installed. After multiple phone calls, and at least 3 visits to the Lowe's location someone was sent to install the refrigerators. The small one is now in the laundry room, and working well (although I cannot explain the 4-month delay in installation). The large fridge placed in the kitchen isn't working. In fact, something is wrong with it, it sprays water out of the top of the back of the fridge all over our wall. The next day, we see that they never installed the ice maker. So, we have a brand-new refrigerator, that doesn't work - at all, doesn't get cold - nothing. We went in to Lowe's talked with 2 or 3 managers, and got assurances that someone would be there to fix it today. Well the same 2 people from 2 days ago showed up, unannounced. They mess with fridge, say its fixed and leave. When my husband got out of his Zoom meeting he went down stairs. Guess What?!?!?!?!? IT STILL IS NOT WORKING! I haven't even elaborated on the rude and unprofessional behavior of the people doing the install. Cussing, telling us it wasn't their problem, and that they didn't sign up for this? Isn't it your job to install it? How can you claim you didn't sign up for this when that is literally what you are hired to do?
So here we are 4 months after buying 7 new appliances, 4 are installed, one is broken, and 2 still sit in the garage, waiting to be installed. All groceries spoiled because of this, groceries are not cheap - so we're looking at $300 to replace it. My husband has had to take off work many hours to deal with this and has lost $1700 in income.
Desired outcome: To have all my kitchen appliances installed and working - basically I want what I paid for.

The storm door was not properly installed. The door is locked and cannot be unlocked, from inside or outside with a key. We have requested through Lowes that this be fixed. We need this done ASAP! I called Summit Installation the afternoon of Sept 15 and was told they could do anything until we contacted Lowes, which we did. They have contacted Summit Installation several times and yet the installer has not responded. We contacted the Lowe's store manager this morning and didn't hear back from her. Who do we call or what do we do? This is a Larson door and will be letting them know what type of store is selling and installing their product.
I received 2 emails, one form Lowes and one from Summit Installation. Both saying the job was complete. It is not complete. What about our 1 year labor guarantee? We can't even get it properly installed the first time.
Now What?
Desired outcome: Someone to come out and replace the door handle and lock.
Delivery and setup of appliances purchased at Lowes, Zanesville, ohio
Date of complaint is Sept. 19, 2023 Tuesday. I purchased a new refrigerator and new stove from the Zanesville store and they delivered them to my house. They brought them out and acted like they were in a hurry. They walked over to the refrigerator and started hooking there carrying straps on it to lift it up and carry it out . If I had not been there to watch them they would have ripped the water hose off the back of the refrigerator because they were not paying any attention to anything. I got behind the refrigerator and turned the water off the water line and told them I did. Next thing i know is that I had water spraying all over the floor because they didn't pay any attention to me when I told them I turned off the water and had turned it back on and then disconnected it. I had one hell of a mess to clean up. I had already pulled my stove out to make it easier on them and ask them about them hooking my plugin off my stove onto the new one and they said they couldn't because I hadn't bought the stove electrical wire from lowes. They didn't set up anything for me . I worked hours after they left cleaning up after them and finishing there job for them. All they could say was yea Bro this and Bro that. Good evening.
This is an observation that troubled and scared me tonight. On my third use of this (Lowes assembled grill product, model 463630021, purchased on 6-29-23, $229.00), and after ensuring values were tight, I pushed the igniter. Flames erupted under and around the main burners, then out the side and then onto the top of the propane tank. Stunned for about 3 seconds I realized /OMG/ and dashed for the fire extinguisher in the kitchen, and some 20 seconds later I extinguished the flames (photo). I consider myself a lucky guy as things could have gotten worse. Going back over the ordeal, I cannot fault anyone other than myself for this, but my pre-checks were solid. Then how did this happen? I am not fully sure but I am sure that I will never purchase an assembled grill from Lowes or anyone again. In conclusion, as a trainer for most of my life, lessons learned are very valuable. I hope you will consider emphasizing to those who assemble your products, be it employees or third parties, that all steps should be checked and doubled checked. I thought it was great that the product was already assembled but after this, I will not repeat. Thanks for listening.

I believe you! They are horrible to work with. They truly are! I am having problems with them right now about a faulty pressure washer they sold me. They want ME to pay to repair their bad product and I have the best extended warranty they offered! It's a rip-off and a con game is all it amounts to. I'm sorry you had to deal with them. Horrible Customer Service! HORRIBLE!
Purchase/deliver (refrigerator)
I'm with the Dept of Defense White Sands Missile Range, NM 88002. I made a purchase of a refrigerator on 8/16/23 to be picked up on 8/21/23. The refrigerator I ordered was back ordered so they were going to do a swap for a different one of equal value which was fine. I picked up the refrigerator on the 11th of Sept it was defective. I immediately called the store and let them know they said they would have someone bring a replacement and pick up the defective fridge, noone showed up. I rescheduled again to have the fridge delivered on the 18th of Sept the delivery truck went to the wrong address. I went back to the store again coming home from work on the 18th to try and sort it out it was told it would come on the 19th. Today is the 19th nothing has come I went to the store again nothing. The store is located on N. Main. The individuals I spoke with (Odessa,Cassandra,Tyler, Davi) my issue still is unresolved. I have no refrigerator and it's been a month

Door was scheduled to be installed on 9/13/2023
No one showed up nor call with an update.
9/14/2023 I called Lowes and was told that they could not find the door. I was also told that they would call me back when they found the door.
9/16/2023 After not getting a call back, I called and was told that they had found the door and was told to expect a call by Tuesday the 19th to schedule a new appointment for installation.
9/19/22023 After not receiving a call back in the morning, I called the store, #686, and was told to expect a call back by Thursday 21st of September. This has been one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had in my many years in dealing with Lowes. When you review this project, please answer this question, is this the kind of customer service I should receive for my expenditure with your store?
Desired outcome: I would like my doors installed with a date that can fit my schedule and can be met by the installation team.
Damaged property
One day we came home and our mailbox was in the ground. We checked our ring camera and saw a Lowe’s truck backing into the mailbox and pulling it out of the ground. With the concrete pad the mailbox was bolted into. Must have hooked the handle on the mailbox. I called customer service and they started a case. Almost two months later nothing has been resolved. I have been instructed to email the video footage to the store manager ( store near our house). We did exactly that and the store manager confirmed the receipt of the video. Nothing happened. I called and called and called. Spoke with multiple customer service representatives. One assured me that she is sending the info to corporate. Nobody contacted me. It’s an absolute shame the company doesn’t want to assume responsibility for the broken property.
Kitchen cabinets
I bought several of your pre made kitchen cabinets around 3 or 4 years ago. Two of them are the 36 inch base cabinets. (Portland) the drawers were much too wide. They should have come with two smaller drawers, so they would have proper support and not one huge one. Also the hardware that came on the drawers is weak and low quality . So now both of the drawers are now unusable. The runners are bent and the drawers fall out.
Desired outcome: I would like upgraded hardware for both cabinets.

Placed order #920315574 on Aug 31, 2023. ( stove, dishwasher, over-stove microwave, delivery was attempted on Friday, September 8, 2023, I left the home at 4 pm and received a text at 5-5:30 I was unable to accommodate)
Received a text on September 11 that the delivery was scheduled for September, 15 I called the Lowes delivery and rescheduled for Monday, September 18, 2023 morning. (I did tell the Lowe's employee that this was not our residence but a home we are Flipping.)
On September 15, 2023, I went over to check on the siding installers and found my stove microwave and dishwasher had been left in the back yard. I immediately called Lowes delivery and stated that this merchandise was not to be delivered until Monday and I had no way of getting it into the house today. I was told that someone would get back to me in the next 24 hours. so I waited at 9701 Echo (flip house) until 9 p.m. Didinot received a phone call at 9;45 on Saturday, September 16, I asked to speak to a manager and was told someone would get back to me in 24 hours or less. OK, I have now waited and no one has called me back and is Sunday, September 17, 2023, and have still not received a phone call.
I did return to the 9701 home Saturday to find all of my merchandise was gone, I called you guys again and the same thing, someone will get back to you in 24 hours.
So the issue is now you delivered on the wrong day ( I was to be there on the day I requested) and left it in someone's yard ( didn't think anyone would just leave it there with no homeowner being at home) and of course, it is gone.
I have done business with Lowes for many years and have always been very satisfied with your products, delivery systems, and employees. Furthermore, the appliances were technically not handled in a correct manner. I would like to be reimbursed for the purchase of the appliance left in an open backyard in the amount of $1,342.87. I would like this matter to be resolved as fast as possible I still need the appliance and will go elsewhere for them.
this has been a very disappointing process with Lowes and would think this could have been handled in a much better way. I will also be contacting the BBB.

Refrigerator delivery by 2 men
9-10-23 Got a new fridge delivered on 9-11-23. I was told the ice maker plug was old and the person told me to call a plumber, I got a plumber the next day and in about 5 seconds he had the plug to the ice maker turned off. So the plumber turned the plug and turned water off on the ice maker and I paid the plumber service call. I called back for set up on the new fridge as it was left in garage. They came back 9-13-23 and set it up, but did not put all the shelves in door but that part was ok. The 2 men spoke no english and could not understand me much either. He kept asking for a 3 prong and showed me one and I just shook my head and took him to the garage where I had a lot of extension cords as I really did not understand, He took one of them and rigged it up on back of fridge. Had electrition come today and he fixed the back of fridge and said guy has rigged it to work. So I had that fixed. Went to Lowes in Mooresville to talk to them. The guy name was Mark told me very little and told me to go to cell phone and it would translate as he not really listen to me. I am 72 and cannot do electronics much. Emma Roberson

GE appliances
In May 2023 we bought a complete GE appliance package from Lowe's, including a refrigerator, range top, dishwasher, and oven/microwave unit. Value was well over $10,000. The salesperson gave us two (2) rebate forms to submit, one for installation, and one for the GE appliance package. We filed all forms with all the required documentation. Within a couple weeks we received the $150 rebate for the installation, but as of September 15, 2023 we have not received the GE rebate. We filed, and twice refiled, the proper paper work for the appliance package rebate, as the rebate center kept dismissing the claim. We have complained many times to the rebate center and every time we get a different person who provides nothing but excuses! Last complaint they told us they had provided a $268 GE rebate to us---and the gift card has been used---which is absolutely FALSE! We have never received and such rebate---and this certainly appears that Lowe's is running a SCAM! In addition, not one single person from Lowe's has ever reached out to us to discuss this issue! Now it seems it is time to reach out to the news media or attorneys to handle this issue!

Long time customer can't get help
I am a long time customer, spending tens of thousands of dollars at Lowes in the past but getting no help with my present situation.
We purchased 2,300 sqft of LVP flooring in 2021 and within 12 months it was falling apart, splintering. In Nov 2022 I went back to the local Lowes (Fultondale, AL) and was told they do not help with warranty claims.
So, I contacted the manufacturer (Shaw), sending pictures, dates of purchase, etc. I called at least 5 times and spoke to different people each time who promised to do something (get an adjuster out, make it priority, etc) but after the phone call was over they ghosted me. Finally, a couple months ago, Shaw said they needed a form from the local Lowes store. I would have been saved all this had Lowes helped me back in Nov 2022.
Shaw emailed the manager over the local flooring department, asking for the necessary form and copied me in the email. He never replied. I have emailed him 3 more times, been back in the store to talk to 2 employees, made several phone calls (when I was told that manager was actually in the store!), left messages for him, but he has never come to the phone, or come to the service desk to meet me, or ever returned my calls.
*** Our flooring is a trip hazard as it is splintering so badly. But Shaw wants to send an adjuster to view it so we have still not taken it up. But I need to take it up now before someone gets hurt!
Desired outcome: I just need them to send the warranty claim form to Shaw flooring - that's all!

Manager James said he cannot verify that pricing, as on their website the price does not match what I see on my end. I informed him that I can repurchase the appliances and give him the new order # so he can verify the prices and he said he still would not be able to verify the pricing. And that my only option was to have the appliances picked up from the home and returned AND then we repurchase the appliances for a new delivery to be granted the lower price.
Desired outcome: I want the $146.12 difference in price refunded to us.
