Long John Silver's Product and customer service

I have been going to Long John Silvers for years and absolutely love your fish with malt vinegar. Until yesterday and the time before this.
Yesterday my wife and I went through the drive through a the Georgesville Square, Columbus Ohio. We each ordered the L1, 2 pieces of fish, hushpuppies, fries, and a drink. We also ordered one extra piece of fish each.
(The last time we ordered from LJS was over a month ago and had a similar experience) There was no sense of urgency from the employees to get our order out quickly. When we got home with our order the fish was extremely over cooked and tough, not like the past where it was fresh and very good. The hushpuppies were over cooked and hard as rock. I gave mine to [censored] our black lab, she made a loud crunching sound eating them. The fries were cold and soggy. Last nights experience told me this is the way it is now and we will never go back to that restaurant. One more Item, highlights of eating there in the past they would give lots of crunchy extra batter bits which is awesome. There was none with our meal. This meal was terrible!

Desired outcome: I am just letting you know this store is very disappointing and I will never go back

Long John Silver's serving old food

The date was May the 22 at 2:35 pm, I give my order and receiving my order in the drive through and notice the fish was refried from earlier in day and the cold slaw not fresh. I try to contact the store by phone about issue and was give the run around. This is second time this has happen during the pandemic. After receiving my food the young lady. She step away from the window with my card and later came back used the register in front of me to purchase my food after this I notice a purchase from Amazon was on credit card that I never made.

Long John Silver's Terrible customer service

Suppose to open at 11 drive thru nothing I walked in at 1105 they all ignored me for about 2 minutes didnt even look at me. Every time I go here the employees suck. I love ljs only one in my area please replace with robots if you cant find decent employees. Also why isnt there any ljs left the one in the neighboring town closed up I love the shrimp

Long John Silver's pricing

I went several miles out of my way to go to a long johns silver restaurant for a fish sandwich at 11:15 am est. store # tl36160. They said the fish sandwiches weren't ready yet. So ! ordered an item that's advertised online for $5.99 that is fish and shrimp combo. She said it was $10.99. So I order something I didn't want called a fish meal. Why do they advertise one price and sell at another?

Long John Silver's Staff at store location #[protected] E. Broadway St., Pearland, TX 77581

Decided to stop at this location for lunch around 11:30 AM on 3/8/21, never had LJS before. I had felt a little uneasy, as soon as I walked in the door, due to the black lady whom appeared to be management chastising me as soon as I walked up to the counter for not having my mask covering my nose, I complied. Now as a reminder, there is a plexiglass barrier and several feet between me and the person behind the counter. I had placed my order even though feeling very uncomfortable for being there based on their gestures and attitude. I proceeded to sit in an empty dining area at the far side of the restaurant. I pulled down my mask to drink my tea and the woman started screaming at me from behind the counter stating if I was going to be there I must wear my mask fully while in the restaurant. So I walked up the counter and asked for a refund, she said she needed the receipt so I went back to the table got the receipt, gave it to her, and she literally threw the money at me and told me not to come back. As I walked out, I called her a f--ing bi--h.
Please review the videos within the restaurant.

Long John Silver's Service

About 2 1/2 weeks ago, I was at the Long John Silver drive through window. They asked me pull from the drive through and park out front to wait for my order. There was a truck behind me and it also pulled out front across from me. We both waited a extremely long time for the only two people who had ordered.. Finally a worker came out with a large order for the truck. When the employee was on his way back inside Long John Sliver. I rolled down by window and asked him where my order was. The worker said what I asked again where my order was. He came back in a very very very nasty way "Its being cooked". I asked him why he was talking to me like that. He said like what. The way you just came back at me. He said "What ever" and walked away and went inside. At that time a female came out with my order. I asked her if there was a supervisor on duty. She asked what happen and I told her, she apologized and said they get complaints on him. The supervisor (name unknown), who did come out. I told him what happened and asked for the District Mgr phone number. He said he could not give it to me but he could take my number and have her call me. I said OK my number [protected]) I than asked him the name of the employee and he said his name was Corey. I told him I was not finished with this complaint. Till this date, no one has contacted me. I am a retired Police Officer and now work in Retail. This is not the way employee should talk to customers. I can be contacted at [protected]@gmail.com /[protected].

I have three gift cards for long john silvers and the restuarant in Gurnee Il will not accept them as payment. I was told that I could use them only at a stand alone long john silvers, but is nothing like yhat in my area.

Long John Silver's My gm at store 7180 is bad.

Hi there I've (Shanna Simon) been with the long John silvers company in Massillon store #7180 for about three months now. My gm recently is causing me much stress and personal harassment albeit in front of me or indirectly towards me. Her name is Mary Willis who changed her name to Mary Lowe due to recently getting married. All she does is get hysterical about drama in her life or people supposedly causing her harm. She picks favoritism over who gets hours like Leah eckenrode in which they do not work nearly as hard and thorough as I do. I recently got a second job a couple weeks ago and she is treating me even worse now than ever before. Yesterday I was getting chest pains due to her stressing me and talking about me in a negative manner to other co workers Leah eckenrode and Dalen Strickland. She was making fun of me a few days ago at work for how I was shaking the shrimp oil off to dalen. This is a very unprofessional manner in which she is behaving and do not appreciate the negative passive aggression towards me.

Long John Silver's Poor customer service

On Monday, December 14, 2020 at 4:14 pm, planned to dine in the Long John Silvers/Taco Bell in Farmville, Virginia.

I stood at the counter to order with no in line while employee after employee walked by and did not stop to assist me with my order. Some of the employees were standing around talking. I guess no one was going through the drive thru because all the employees were congregated near that area hanging out talking. One worker was sitting in the seating area (I assume she was on a break). It appears each time I have dined at this location the same employee is sitting in the seating area.

Eventually, I became tired of waiting so I left without ordering. No one stopped me or ask to assist me. I wondered how many customers left before me without being served. These employees appear not to be concerned about losing business.

Long John Silver's Picked up food on the way to work. Go to work to earn it and the fish was not done.

IMy fish was not done. It was still solid made me sick. I have eaten there for 30+ years so I feel I deserve to get reimburse

would appreciate a refund. I got the #1 with fries and a large drink. I have posted a photo of my receipt below.

Long John Silver's Food

Fort Myers Florida location - we drove an hour and this location and they refused to serve chicken planks at 10:00 in the morning. Also, on a different day at 5:30 at night on Sunday, June 7, 2020, they didn't have any chicken planks at all, only fish and shrimp. Neither of us eat shrimp, so had to leave. Very upset and disappointed. This is the only location near us.

Long John Silver's Management / employees

The management do not care how there employees talk and and treat there customers. We saw a boy handle the cups with his fingers around the rim of the cup and I told him please would you not do that. Well he got mad and liped off about it and the management saw it and did nothing about it. They say at there del city restaurant that they are covid compliant, well there are not! After what we saw. We have given this store in del city, oklahoma so much business. And to be treated like this we will not be going back until things change.

Long John Silver's Our order was wrong and they refuse to answer the phone

We went to Long John Silver's on March 9th, 2020 at 6:32 PM. Ticket number 2109. We had ordered a number 10 that comes with two fish and six shrimp with rice and hushpuppies and fries, along with a number 11 that comes with two fish, a chicken Plank and 3 shrimp, corn, hush puppies and Fries. I even confirmed with the cashier that the number 10 and number 11 would both come with hush puppies. We did not receive any shrimp and we didn't receive any hush puppies. I tried to call them FIVE different times and I let the phone ring until I received a Verizon message, about 20 Rings later, telling me that the person that I was trying to call is not answering the phone. We absolutely refuse to eat on the inside of this establishment because of how dirty and filthy and grimy it is. We have been to several LJS's in TX and Long John Silver's has always been one of our favorites but the establishment in San Angelo, Texas, is absolutely ridiculous and we will never eat here again. The Google ratings are so low that they are almost in the negatives. This building needs a huge overhaul or needs to be shut the hell down. It is QUITE OBVIOUS that corporate does not care about their business.

Long John Silver's awful service and manager was so RUDE to me!

I ordered the family meal on 3/01/20 and asked the girl to make sure it came with hushpuppies and she assured me that it did. I ordered the 16 piece and asked for 12 chicken and 4 fish. When I got home I found that there wasn't any hushpuppies in the bag so I called the manager and all she said was for me is she would write down my name and for me to come by and get them anytime I wanted. After getting off the phone I opened up the other box and realized that there wasn't any fish in the box either. So I called back and the manager basically called me a liar right off the bat. And asked me if I wanted to come back and get the items after she could tell that I was really upset but I had already drove 15 minutes home and I didn't want to go back out and she said some really rude comments to me so I asked for the General Managers phone number and she said sure and then hung up on me. And everytime I tried to call back she would pick up the phone and hang it right back up, so I got in my truck and dorve back out there so my children would have their dinner. When I walked into the store the manager had a very smug look on her face when i told her that I was there to get my food she said I figured you would be out here soon and I told her that I didn't appreciate being hung up on when it was not my fault the food wasn't in the bag. I said I paid for it so I would like to have it right the first time and she very smugly said oh I guess i'm sorry ofr hanging up. I then asked if there was something she could do for all the trouble I had been through and she just asked me what I expected them to do for me. then she told me to hang on and went to the back and came back about 5 minutes later and told me that all she could do is give me more hushpuppies.
Is this how you train your managers to deal with customers?
I do not plan on ever going back to that store after this issue I have had. And after speaking to some of my co-workers they have stated similar issues they have had at the same store. I don't know how they even stay open with service like this

Long John Silver's combo

I ordered two combos. Fish and chicken, at the drive thru window. Cashier threw the bags and me and was very rude. Seems was very rushed. I did not check food till I got home. Neither meal had a hush puppy or Cole slaw and the French fries over half were cooked too long and hard as a rock. The fish and chicken was very greasy tasting. I will not be returning there no time soon.

Long John Silver's drive thru service. 1/26/2020. 5:30 pm

I went through your drive thru service ordered two orders of your fish and sides. There was only two cars ahead of me. I sat in your drive thru at least 20 minutes before getting up to the window to pay. I paid for my order, waited another 10 minutes for the girl to come back with my food. She finally came to the window only to tell me it was going to be 15 minutes before my order would be up. I looked at the girl and said you have got to be kidding me after sitting in this drive thru for at least 20 minutes now I am being told it would be another 15 minutes to get my order, the girl said yes, for your order to come up. No apology, explanation nothing for why it was taking so long. I asked for my money back as I was not going to wait another 15 minutes which between the drive thru wait and another 15 minutes my wait would have been 35 minutes in your drive thru. Ridiculous poor service! I have never encountered this disservice at any drive thru before. Obviously there is a problem at this location with employee/staffing, service issues. It was not very busy and this poor service should not have happened. I will never return to this location again, very unprofessional.

What poor service and not well trained employees for the disservice. I have never had to wait this long in any drive thru before to get service. obviously there was a problem with staffing/service. I really feel this was very rude, poor quality unprofessional behavior/ service. I will never go back to that location again.

Long John Silver's service

I purchased a $25.oo gift card on Christmas Eve. This card has not worked since. We have been embarrassed twice trying to use this gift card. I went back to the store I purchased the card from and the manager said that she didn't know how to do it and looked at me as though I was suppose to leave. She called her manager who just told me to call the gift card line there was nothing they could do for me in the store. I have called the gift card line serveral times and NO ONE is able to help me. All they can do is transfer me to a number that wants me to leave a voicemail. I am very upset about this issue and there is no reason that I cant speak to someone that can help me. That's all I'm asking. I will never ever make another purchase at long johns silvers again. Especially if this is how you treat your paying customers.

Long John Silver's restrooms

The restrooms for both ladies and men are absolutely horrific. Both my husband and I needed them and I couldn't allow myself to use it! Green slime on toilets and white stuff all over the floor. Toilets were disgusting and paper every where. All the mechanical things for toilets and sinks were just as disgusting! How do you pass inspections? Very, very doubtful I'll ever eat there again!

Long John Silver's everything

First of all I sat and waited for over 20 minutes to get food in drive thru. Just one other car and myself. So I figured the food would be fresh and hot since I waited that long. Wrong by the time I got home which is only 15 minutes away everything was just warm and the fish was so saturated in grease that when you picked it up it came out on the breading and the grease tasted very old. So I just wasted around $19.00 . Probably won't be going back. It was so bad I wouldn't even give it to my dogs. Judy McDaniel

Long John Silver's manager kershana (sp) she would not give me the correct spelling of her name

Initially I placed my order and sat down to wait. I observed a young lady walk in the restaurant and as she walked toward the restroom an employee told her the restroom was for paying customer and then just walked away. It didn't matter to her that the young lady was trying to tell her that she will place an order after she leaves the restroom. After a 2-3 minute discussion someone finally opened the restroom. Once the young lady received her order her fish looked like it had been sitting in the bottom of the fryer all day. When she complained the manager came out rolled her eyes at the lady grabbed her bag and walked away. Now when my order was ready it was not correct so the manager came out with a really bad attitude and said now what's wrong. She walked away and didn't try to resolve the issue. As I told the cashier that the manager has very bad customer service skills for a manager. She heard what I said and said very loud what is she talking about ain't nobody thinking about her. At this time there were quite a few customers in the lobby. This manager was very rude and should not be a representative of Long John Silvers. She should not have a managerial position. I actually wanted to ask for a full refund. I will definitely not be patronizing store #70229 in the near future
