Failure of mro process for pre-employment drug testing
I am an otr cdl-a professional truck driver who has been in dispute with labcorp since february 2021 in regards to a positive drug test in question. There has been more than one attempt by letter of submission on my behalf from my legal office regarding resolution with this matter. I have yet to receive an acknowledgement by labcorp that the matter is being investigated. As previously stated, on february 9, 2021, I took voluntary pre-employment drug screen at labcorp. The test was requested by my then employer, who also requested an alcohol screen as well. While there, I was advised that the
First specimen collected by labcorp apparently could not be accepted and I had to provide a second specimen. I waited at the facility so that I could provide the second specimen. I was not given the alcohol screen, however. In addition, prior to taking the test, I had taken prescribed medication as well as over-the-counter medications; do which I have medical documentation by my physicians. Upon arrival, labcorp failed to even ask me about any prescription or over the counter medications I was taking at that time that could impact the results.
I was shocked to learn that the test results allegedly showed cocaine in my system. I then and currently vehemently deny using cocaine and once I was advised of the results I promptly advised labcorp that I disputed the results and that it could not be

Instead of taking steps to have the specimen retested, labcorp took it upon itself to report the results to one or more federal agencies. Labcorp was aware
That I disputed the test results. Therefore, labcorp had an obligation to offer to have the specimen sent to another laboratory for retesting. That option was not provided to me at that time and now it is not an option at all.
Importantly, I offered to retake the test on the same date that I was notified of the results. I was denied that request and was told to contact my then employer. I did as instructed, but was informed that the company could not assist as they
Had not even been notified of the results at that point. I then followed up with lab corp on february 22, 2021. At that time he again requested to retake the test but was denied that chance.
Labcorp failed to even abide by the order for the testing by failing to provide a complete
Screen. The results are suspect given labcorp's lack of procedure and apparently
Inability to test the first specimen provided. In addition, labcorp falsely stated & advised my then employer that they had prematurely reported what appears to be a false positive read to the federal agency on february 17, 2021, when in fact was not reported the drug & alcohol clearinghouse until july 29, 2021 over six months later of which I have documented proof. According to the drug & alcohol clearinghouse; clearly states -§ 382.705 reporting to the clearinghouse.

I am requesting a fair investigation & evaluation in regards to removal of this positive drug screening from my record. I am not perfect however, I can truthfully & honestly say that in all my tenure working in the logistics/transportation industry, I have always valued myself & my profession, I pride myself for always maintaining within full compliance & abiding by the rules & regulations of law stated with fmcsa & mdot.
This whole ordeal has been exasperating which has dramatically impacted my way of life as well my ability to support his family. I have since tested negative for all substances with numerous valid & documented drug test screening facilities within recent weeks. I expect that labcorp will immediately retract the reported results and take whatever steps are necessary to have the results removed from my record to relevant agencies that the information was reported to.
This is yet another attempt to resolve this matter. If I do not hear from labcorp immediately,
I no other choice than will move forward legally. Thank you in advance in review and consideration of my complaint in regards to this highly sensitive matter.

Late opening lab on Saturday
The lab next to Paoli Hospital, Pa. opens 7am-11am on Saturday. I waited from 6:55 to 7:20. The Tech that works at the The Berwyn, Pa lab Tech was late opening the Paoli office. There were 2 Techs also had to wait for the Paoli lab to open. I left the Paoli office to find another place, which was also closed! I returned to the Paoli lab and NOW! it's open! I asked the tall black female Tech why the office was late opening at 7am? The lab sign says open7am, my time starts at 7:30.

Labcorp cannot find lab order. This occurred three time in past 12, months. Scheduling an appointment is unacceptable secondly after arriving for scheduled visit for routine lab work the Labcorp assistant say they cannot find lab order. I call my doctors office ( John Muir Medical )and was told the order is in the system but Labcorp states they cannot find it. This has occurred three times to me in the past 12 months. I am also com[plaing about their scheduling process. Very cumbersome to schedule an appointment. Locations randomly closed.

Blood work
On June 8th, 2021 I visited the Labcorp office on Enterprise Road in Orange City, Florida. My appointment was for 9am. I texted to let them know I was there. According to their instructions, I would be texted when the Tech was ready. When I received the text, I reported to the front desk where I was told to have a seat. It was 15 minutes before I was summoned and then another 5 minutes in the room where the draw was to take place. The facility was very cold which caused my veins to constrict. The blood draw was painful and as I found out later, the sample was hemolyzed. In other words the results were rendered invalid. Instead of clearly informing me of the problem, they just sent the flawed results with only cryptic explanations next to selected values. I have been trying for 2 months to speak with someone at Labcorp about what happened. Their switchboard operator and customer service reps were either rude, unfriendly, or unhelpful. All I asked for was a call from someone in authority at labcorp to share this story. Originally, I was told I would receive a call within 24-48 hours. It never happened. What do I have to do to get a phonecall? This will be my last attempt at being nice about this. Thank You.

Dear Sir,
I am going through stomach complications and need urgent treatment. I have dropped a stool sampe at LabCorp facility at Middle brook Germantown MD on July 9th around 3:35 PM
It has been more than 2 weeks, did not get the result. I contacted the LabCorp customer service they could not find the sample. This is the second my stool sample was lost.
I am waiting for the treatment based only the result. I am not sure where else to complain.

On 7/22/2021 @ 6:10am I went to LabCorp @ 534 2nd Ave, Ste 104, Collegeville, PA 19426. I walked in unknowing that we were still required to wear mask although I was vaccinated. The lady behind the desk said you must have a mask in here. I apologized and said I did not have one and that I was vaccinated. She raised her voice and ranting about people coming in the facility with out a mask. There is a sign on the door that reflects a mask. She proceeded to give me a mask which she was not happy with doing so. Continued to talk to the customer she was waiting on about me while I sat in the waiting room. I was only sitting for 2min until another lady called me to be checked in. Upon checking in I asked for the lady next to us her name. She stopped helping her customer flew her heard around the cubicle and proceeded to spell her name to me 2x. And said do you have my spelling correct. I can also spell my managers name for you. I said no thank you I have this and please note I will be reporting this for poor customer service. She proceeded to talk about me to her customer. I asked several times to please stop talking about me and to continue waiting on her patient. I then proceeded to talk to my person and explain what happen. I explained all she had to do was give me a mask. Shethen stopped what she was doing and began raising her voice saying STOP LYING STOP LYING We have notice all around you have to wear a mask. LOUD... This was extremely humiliating and unprofessional. She was not waiting on me she was with another customer and continued to provide poor customer service to her patient and continue to interrupt me from providing detail information to my representative. My lady was able to answer my questions regarding my blood work however with her interruptions.
I am a customer and my experience with how she was horrible. To be belittle and called a LIAR and be talked about to 2 other patients was uncalled for and very unprofessional.
she is working in a professional medical field. To act the way she behaved is uncalled for... She has no clue why patients are there and for what reasons they are there. I am going through some heart issues and to be screamed at about not having a mask. Was so uncalled for and the HIPPA -CONFIDENTIALITY - Talking to other customers about me. I said to her please do not discuss me to your customers.
Desired outcome: I request she be talked to regarding customer service and be educated/additional training on customer service.
LabCorp (Corporate) followed back up with me regarding my incident. They were extremely sorry for my experience. I was relieved that they too were extremely concerned with customer service. I agree we never know what the other person is going through, however that is no excuse at all to mistreat a customers . I am a strong believer in providing the tools and additional resources to help the individual in making them a better person along with making the company shine. - Thank you LabCorp for listening to my negative experience and turning it around to be a positive experience.
Lost our sample
The Tucson Labcorp lost my wife's sample, and never notified us or our doctor at Mayo Clinic. It took us and Mayo over a week to finally get Labcorp to admit they can not find it. I was driving on Josey Ln near Beltline in Carrollton at approximately 5:30pm. The driver in the Labcorp vehicle swerved and cut me off twice. He then pulled next along side to me and started making hand gestures to me and my wife said he appeared to be very angry. This went on for about 2 miles and because I was concerned for the safety of my wife I proceeded on and made a turn on a side street to distance myself from this driver. I was driving in traffic yesterday when a labcorp courier swerved out of his lane and into mine without signaling. The driver almost hit my car. Fortunately the breakdown lane was open to I was able to navigate to safety. I was able to get a couple of pictures of the car and license plate before he sped off. We were on I-287 heading East / South at the time.

Late Courier
There is a courier named Craig who delivers specimen to the UT Medical Center Pathology/Cytology department which is a LabCorp grossing lab. Craig needs to arrive by 10:15 and he does, but he just sits in his car running out his clock. He just looks at his phone and does not come inside. He prevents patients' specimen from being grossed and processed. This delays patients' results 1 day to days if this occurs on the weekend. This specifically happened on June 18th, 2021.
