At the Edgewater, MD facility this black technician did not follow procedure and was rude. After i filed a complaint She and her whitecoworker then filed a defamatory police report saying i threatened them. They did it to retaliate against me. These companies have our DNA and power they probably discriminated against me for being gay. EXPOSE THEM

This afternoon I took my 91-yr old father in to have a UA done. Your sign-in process was a pain in the arse and sent both our PB's through the roof! When did it become acceptable for a medical facility to not have people greeting patients and assisting with getting them signed in and ready for lab work?!? The waiting area is less than friendly and that sign-in situation is a total insult! How about your high paid CEO's take a cut in pay and you hire someone to staff your front desk? You know, like it used to be! The whole situation reeks of just another way for a corporate entity to do away with jobs and pad the pockets of the big guns! If we find there is another alternative to your lab, you can bet we'll be requesting that our medical providers refer us elsewhere! We were not the only people who were disgusted, but it's doubtful the other "older" woman will take the time to try to find out how to file a complaint online, since no comment forms are provided in the waiting areas. Staff, once we actually saw someone, were professional and kind, but you really should do something to improve your check-in situation!

Having a diagnosis for 39 years should remain a part of HIPPA Law guidance for phlebotomists. Male phlebotomists should not assume some one is sexually harassing them. Why would any one want to
come onto to anyone else that holds a needle on their arm. Can any one be so ridiculous to assume the client or patient comes back to the same Labcorp facility to come onto the phlebotomists. If I have to go to the same office it is because I live close by. Or maybe I can't ride my bike there because the hot sun makes my blood and medication boil and I can pass out and go into a coma. Really guys these insinuations and false accusations have to stop. Calling some one homeless, drug addict when the client lives in a house is
slanderous. Making judgements about Labcorp patients and saying things to their face is [censored].
Nerve damage by Phlebotomist accompanied by Unethical Behavior
I am Pinaki Bose, a long term admirer of the esteemed Labcorp organization. This time I am writing this on behalf of my wife - Mrs. Tanima Majumder (Age : 30). Yesterday on 29th April 2021, I took her for doctor prescribed blood work in Labcorp (600 Pavonia Ave, Jersey City- NJ 07306) . At about 12 Noon, when the needle was inserted in her left arm joint, she felt like an electric shock in ring and middle finger and immediately it got fully numb. This is very much unusual as she has gone through many blood work throughout her life, but never experienced this kind of electric shock feeling and numbness. She felt like her nerves may have been damaged which led to the unusual pain and numbness. The phlebotomist mentioned that she will not take blood and asked us to leave and "go scream at home". She came back in pain and numbness on the fingers and along with that shattered by the ill behavior of the staff. It has been a horrible and badly physically painful experience. Today also she is not able to use her left arm much.
I hope Labcorp should take necessary action for this unwanted and painful experience followed by such an irrational and ill behavior. We have never expected this from a renowned organization like Labcorp. Now I am doing multiple doctor visits for my wife with the pain in left arm which has made it partially unusable.

Incompetent employee
I had an appointment scheduled today for the lab Corp located in the Walgreens located at 1408 Delsea Drive Woodbury NJ. I was told by employee that she was unable to look up my prescription and than she said she tried but that it had expired 2 days ago. Upon calling my dr office this was not correct. I waited 2 hours and went back and again was told they cannot unable yo locate my prescription prescription. My dr sends another prescription electronically and so I go back yet a 3rd tine. The girl was very rude and it is clear that either she is not willing to assist me or just incapable of doing her job. However I was able to go to another lab Corp and they were able to assist me without any issues
Drug Testing MD
I had to take a drug test for new employment and it was a nightmare. 1. On 04/25/2021, was told by customer service that a faculty performed the test on a Saturday, however once I arrived was told it didn't. 2. 04/26/2021, Found another location to go to on Monday and the information that was provided by LabCorp states that the facility started testing at 7am, however once I arrived at 13944 Baltimore Ave. Laurel, MD at 7:30 was told it didn't start testing until 10am, needless to say I have to hold my urine and had to drive all the way to Washington, DC and by the time I was able to take the drug test it was 9:46am. Because of e having to hold my urine I developed a UTI and had to go to the ER.
Desired outcome: Make sure that correct information is provided on the website.

Multiple incidents with the same employee at the LabCorp on First Colonial Rd in Virginia Beach.
I am a PA in Gastroenterology up the street from the LabCorp facility. I have sent multiple patients there to have an H. pylori stool test performed and have received complaints from 4 of them that the man at the accession desk is extremely rude and will not explain the proper method to collect the sample. When the patients have brought back their samples, they have just been told that it was collected wrong and the sample is discarded. That is not helpful to the patient or the treating provider. I have started to send people to another facility even though the LabCorp office is far more convenient for patients here.
Desired outcome: Retraining or reassignment of the employee in question

From the moment I walked in it showed unprofessionalism and mismanagement. There is no way these people were trained to deal with public. The employees were yelling and misbehaving with patients.
This cannot be a way to treat customers and I will definitely ask my doctor to send me to quest of this don't improve quickly.

Rude employee at the Thorndale, PA business. My wife got to the business about 1:40 20 mins. After it opened back up. The kiosk was not working ( a sign would have been helpful ) so after 15mins she shouts out..hello..a voice yells from the back .I'll be out in a minute. My wife has a standing order after just receiving a liver transplant the man asks the Dr's name my wife couldn't remember as she has had several on the transplant team. He asks again she says I can't remember isn't it on your screen? He says there is 3 names she says the one that you just sent it to 2 days ago he says he can't tell..?..she says send it to all 3.
Being pissed off he sends her to room 1. Now the waiting room is filled with about 5 more patients and he proceeded to check every one of them in while we were waiting. At about 2:15 he comes in to draw her blood.
I realize he was the only one working that day. But come on its his job. If he doesn't show some kind of compassion for the people maybe he should find another job.
I myself have been to this location twice both times alway an issue. I convinced my wife we will from now on go to another location to have our blood work done. The Thorndale location is really messed up..not professional one bit.
Another thing we saw that the rooms were not being sanitized after each person was finished just another person went right in...not right during these hectic times.
I really think someone should secretly should visit this location to see what we are talking about!

rude threating lab core employee
Went to the Thorndale Pa. [19320 zip] to have blood drawn for testing at about 2:00 pm 15 April 2021. Followed the correct format on the entry screen. Called up by a large black man with a heavy foreign accent. He started right away berating me. Said my name was wrong and my information incorrect. I tried to explain to him that I completed the questions as instructed. He blew up in anger, lost his temper and started yelling at me. Nor would he put away HIS temper and beratement of me as I suggested. Accuses me of being rude. A person such as this should not be allowed to work for Lab Core or anyplace with people contact. In all my life time I have never been treated so badly in the medical field. James Bradley

Serious bruising after 4 sticks!
I've been going to LabCorp for years! Today, I felt like a human dart board after 4 sticks and a large raised bump and bruise on my forearm. All of this for 2.5 vials for rouine bloodwork. All was well until the tourniquet "popped". The phlebotomists were apologetic, but needless to say, this did not have to happen. Been sitting with an ice pack of my forearm on/off all day, took off half day as unable to type. I sure hope they were able to get enough blood for the tests the doctor ordered.
Diagnostic Services made by Physican, Diagnostic Miscode & Medicare Resolution
A June 30, 2020, my gynecologist sent to Medicare the request for a TSH (84443) and jab (36415) service. Unfortunately and unbeknownst to me, the doctor's office miscoded the TSH lab work. In September, 2020, I began receiving a Lab Corp bill of $119.00 for the before mentioned lab work. In calling their office, I was only told that that Medicare had denied the claim with no further and that I would be sent to their Collections after 7 notices. In December, 2020, I finally paid the $119.00 to Lab Corp.
I sent an Appeal to Medicare in mid August, 2020 and called in mid September for an update. I was told to call in mid November for an outcome or I would receive a letter concerning my appeal. In the meantime, I paid Lab Corp. On 1/12/2021 I called Medicare for an update because I had not received any information on my Appeal. Finally a CS person, told me that my original Appeal in 2020 had never been processed. I resent my Appeal mis-code update which was received by Medicare on 1.25.2021. On 3.19.2021, I was told that a positive decision on my Appeal had been made on 3.11.2021. I didn't hear the fact that Lab Corp would be paid $19.80 for my lab services.
None of my documents could be attached according to your format needs.
So, when I called Lab Corp to make sure that they had received Medicare's positive decision, again, I didn't hear the $19.80 only refund. I received a check from Lab Corp for $19.80 and called CS to see why they didn't refund the full amount I had paid of $119.00. I was told that Lab Corp only refunds the amount that Medicare pays them. What a robbery by Lab Corp. Needless to say, I'm not the only customer they continuously rip off with this "medicare" policy.

This labcorp at Walgreens has the rudest employee that draws blood. She is rude, does not understand what she is doing when it come to Drs order. She said the Dr did not do the order right, I told her it is the same format I have brought in for 2 years and when I told the Dr what she said he was not happy and she even said I will do it this time but never again. If it was not right why did she do it and why she was the only employee that said it was wrong. My Dr has been in Florida for 31 years with hundreds of patients. I think he knows how to write an order, she does not know how to read them. Stay away from this labcorp on Conor Creek road in Saint Cloud Florida. Plus she is always mouthy and Disrespectful
Irvine , CA LabCorp credit card scam
The front office demanded charging my credit card even after presenting my current health insurance card. She threatened to cancel my time critical labs if I refused to hand over my credit card. I have NEVER seen this type of aggressive behavior from office medical staff. I now recommend using ANY other company for future lab work. Avoid LabCorp.
Blood draw for babies
Today, I visited LabCorp for the Anemia blood test for my 1-year-old child. I arrived for my appointment on 2/23/21 at the Conyers, Georgia location. I left a message the day before asking about a stool sample and the preparation of such. The call was not returned.
When I entered the waiting room, it was full of people with no social distancing and the woman asked me if I had my stool sample. This is not something that should be asked of a patient while they are standing in a crowded waiting room.
Very unprofessional, very unsafe. I am scheduled to go to another location today. If I find it to be the same, I will report the company to the proper officials.
