I was having a problem with my Printer last night. The JustAnswer Technician wanted $39.00 to remotely look at my labtop to trouble shoot the problem. I felt the problem could have been corrected in other ways than accessing my labtop and paying the additional fee. The Technician refused to help me because I refused to pay the additional fee. I did ask him to transfer me to another technician. He refused. I called Customer Service. The Customer Service person promised to transfer me to another Technician (last night) after we finished talking. It never happened. After the phone call and waiting to be connected to another technician, I gave the Customer Service person high marks in a survey, because I thought the situation was handled. It was not handled. I still have not been contacted by anyone. I used JustAnswer in previous years and was satisfied with the service. Now the service is a service of corruption. What happened?

I requested a fix to my issue with a AVS system and they did not respond.
Advised me to check with the manufacture.
Since I was charged for additional services and there was not any clear notification that this was an on going service and that there is a monthly fee.
I had sent them an email stating that they did not answer the original question so stop sending me information about how they did. Do not continue to follow up and stop all services, as it was becoming more spam mail that results. I received a cc statement showing that they charged me for a reoccurring service. Called them and asked to have this cancelled and refunded.
1) did not get any service that met the expectation or results
2) received multiple emails asking how they did to the point on annoyance
3) continued to get billed for services they never provided.
Good luck to them but buyer beware.

JUSTANSWER *TECH HELP [protected] USA
I initially contacted Just Answer Tech Help on 26 Feb 2021 for an answer about my computer. I gladly paid the $1:03 trial money in the hope I would have my problem answered. That didn't happen and I ended up solving my own problem.
So when the review comments came up I just said I didn't need any more help as I had solved my own problem. The reviews kept coming which annoyed me immensely as it was totally unnecessary to keep answering the same question over and over again so I sent the lot to SPAM and deleted it.
Now I find a charge of $67.98 has been made to my credit card when I thought I had cancelled the subscription as I received NO service and NO help.
Have I become the subject of a rip off scam. Give me my money back!

Hello i am complaining about jus answer. They are refusing to refund my charges on my card from 8th march til 13th march even though i have confirmation email from their team confirming i wont be charged for my questions as there were issues reinstating my membership. I also have just answer order confirmation confirming 0 pounds has been taken from my card yet they have taken all the payments of the questions from 8th march til 13th march,

unauthorized credit card charges
I placed an inquirery to Just Answer regarding a problem I was having with
programming a spread sheet using Microsoft Excel. I did not receive a satisfactory solution to my problem and within one week, I cancelled the service. I was assured that the application would be cancelled and that they were sorry that they could not help.
I have since been receiving regular charges against my credit card for a subscription of 'Home Repair ' which I have no need for nor did I subscribe to this service.
The charges are for $66.00 on a regular basis.

Spoke to Maria Nina Thursday 25 February 2021. Regarding new password for Outlook Imap and Smpt which she try to help me but it was Apple Support who solved my problem. You will find no mention of Apple Support in transcript of conversation with Nina. By you advertising I paid $1 to have a problem solved as first time contacting your company. About a week ago I contacted a Justanswer expert.com re divorce information, I typed in my query and got the standard answer which I was happy, then the helpline assistant came on and I explained my request to her and she replied that she sort it out but I never heard from her again. The next day I received an email from their office explaining the answer I had got previously again and asked if I would like to talk to a solicitor and that it would cost me extra money above the $8.00 for the information I had already paid for, I declined. The next day again I was contacted and again I declined. Each day the contacted me asking me the same until I threatened to complain to the ACCC. To-day I was going to transfer some money from my account and noticed the Justanswer Expert 877 604 has a pending withdrawal amount of $70.21 from my debit card which I did not authorize. I want a $28 refund, an apology and a promise to change their deceptive ways.
Online looking for answers relative to the afib I had been experiencing, Just Answer popped up with a $5 trial. I accepted and got a reasonable $5 answer.
Then repeatable they kept sending me emails trying to get me to talk with the doctor I some more. I kept telling them "No" I don't want to talk any more for any more money. It happened at least three times or more to the point I just ignored them. That was 1/21/21. Sunday 2/28/21 I discovered a $28 withdrawal from my debit account and searching my trashed emails from Just answer I found one dated 1/25/21 - four days after my uncomfortable experience getting Just Answer off my back that I must have just thrown in the trash unopened when I saw who it was from. This email said that if I did nothing they would sign me up for a $28 account with them. That has got to be fraud or elder abuse or something criminal. I know it is just $28 but I live on $785 a month and every unexpected bit hurts.
Just Answer did cancel the fraudulent account but refused to give me a refund. They are a creepy sign of the times.

The site claims when you file your question it will be answered within minutes. I have waited hours with no response. It does not say in some cases it could take longer. I only paid the $5 because I needed the advise now. Total false advertisement.

I contacted the just answer company regarding a legal matter in 2020 not overly impressed, , , however I paid what I thought to be a one off fee,
I have since discovered that I have been billed every month for £40 to pay this company .
1/ it is not clear that the payment will be billed every month I used the service once
2/this is tantamount to poor business practice
3/ there is no follow up by the company to ensure that you are satisfied with the service
4/ not able to cancel via my bank as it was a card transaction and this should be clearly written on the terms and conditions so every member of the public will understand the undertaking
5/ there is substantial complaints regarding the same issue so clearly there is a problem with this company
6/I was advised by my bank to contact this company at clear expense to myself I have contacted the company( assistant name Adam) who has assured me that the billing account will be cancelled
6/ I will be taking this matter further to the whatever ombudsman is available in the uk
7/ I am requesting a refund

I was sold a membership when I called a veterinarian, I did not want that and was charged anyway.
Operator was rude and would not let me speak. I asked for a refund and to cancel. She repeatedly talked over me and would not hear me. I got angry and insisted she stop talking. I saw a charge in my bank from them this morning, this is what started it. Surprise to me I only spoke with a veterinarian, which was helpful and she was very nice, but I didn't ask for any kind of membership.
I hung up on the operator as she was continuing to speak, telling me I am not eligible for a refund. I called back, in disgust to make sure she knew to cancel the membership. What a scam!

$5.00 one week trial that automatically reverts to full price
On 1/29/21 I signed up for 1 week trial for $5.00, used my debit card to pay. Talked to an expert in dryer repair. Talked to him x1 and resolved my issue. Gave a good review for the expert.
On 2/8/21 they charged my bank card additional $37.00 for one month of unlimited calls.
At the time of original $5.00 I was not informed of the automatic charge after the trial period. The company said they notified me by email that the trial period was going to expire on 2/5/21. I did not receive any emails in my inbox. I did find one email in my "junk" folder, but I rarely do I check my junk folder for pertinent emails.
I've done chat, phone call, to the company and they refused to refund the $37.00, stating that it was stated that the trial period automatically turns into a monthly service at the rate of $37.00. I was not informed of this when
I started the trial period.

This company has a history of doing this to people no charges showed up in my account from May 2020 I called an cancelled they said my cancellation never went thru. I was then charged out of the blue Feb 2021 I called they said my account was active I explained it was not and wanted my money back they REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY but said they would cancel the account. The JustAnswer website has no "Cancellation Box" with which to cancel my account?
All I wish to do is cancel! Yet every time I try something that the JustAnswer site or Google suggests, I am left disappointed! This is now extremely frustrating because I do not need this service and do not wish to pay any further fees.

I don't know where it began but in July of 2020 I must have asked for technical help. when I did, it created a recurring $46 monthly charge. I called Just answer and said cancel it. They refunded the $46 but then continued to date. I went to my card holder (discover) and disputed the charges Just answer proved to be valid so now I don't seem to be able to cancel. I went to the Just answer site and for $37 there is a cancel service. I submitted it there. I don't know where to go from here. I will cancel the discover card so they no longer can charge it if worse comes to worse.

I used Justanswer Lawyers once for which I payed the fee and did not enroll for membership yet i am being charged R599.00/month for 3 months now for a service that I don't use or need. Above all I've lost my job in December 2020 and have no income.
I tried talking to them via their online chat service and their reasoning was that once I've used them I am enrolled automatically and have to cancel my "membership" if I do not want to be charged.
