So the webpage said that its $2 for question for which I posted and then just when I was about to put in my billing information, in that page it self they added $49 in a sly manner and my money was deducted from my credit card. I immediately (the next minute) cancelled my membership and asked for a refund of those $49 and also asked not to reply back to my post. My JustAnswer is just beating around the bush and not refunding me my $49 after repeated requests to the JustAnswer customer care. This is a total money grab cheat and must be reported. As many other people have complained about the same thing, I know that this is unfair and unjust. My $49 must be refunded.

Stranded in an airport, I was looking for help online.
Just Answer stated it was a $1.00 to ask, so I asked.
On my 4" phone screen I do not remember seeing that this is an enrollment, and it's billed at $38/month.
Not only did I not receive an appropriate answer, I've was billed twice ($38 twice, and $1.00 twice). Why would I enroll twice within minutes? Emailing them is fruitless.
I've placed a block on my credit card company with them.
This, in my opinion, is a scam. Who knows what qualifications the person replying to you actually has, and how competent are they? Like my brother states, someone had to finish last in the class.
Stay away from this site. You are better off using Google and YouTube.

No way to cancel
Was given trial subscription to get one question answered. No emails from the company after taking my trial funds and stated they will take out fees if I don’t cancel, but provide no way or instructions to cancel by June 30th. $60 was taken from my account and needs to be returned.
I contacted customer service and advised them there was no place to cancel and they cancelled but then the system blocked me from discussing the fees just removed from my account unauthorized.

I was directed to justanswer by Amazon prime, I clicked and paid a dollar to see what it was, I immediately only asked for my dollar back. They then took 46ish dollars without any approval, no refund of the dollar, and have been zero help, will NOT refund me anything.
Weirdest part is, Amazon Prime fully denies sending me to them.
I have now canceled EVERYTHING to do with Amazon, I'm tired of getting china crap from them anyways, and Amazon prime is pure garbage.

Wrong information
A qualified legal advisor gave me the wrong information- on which I made a big life decision. This was GabrielP428. He gave me information that then was wrong. Can you please get back to me on this because this is a rip off!
He told me I could apply for a spouse visa from any country- so I made plans to leave the UK. Then when I looked to double check it turned out he wasn’t even so sure. And then it turned out he was wrong. I pay 40 pounds a month for very incorrect information and he didn’t even apologise! This is a scam and none of your people are actual lawyers or specialists! This is messing with peoples lives.

Automatic monthly charges (3 for $35 ea.) made.
These charges were made without my knowledge or authorization. I did sign up for one question for $5 on April 21, 2022, and that was all. They agreed to cancel their service but would not refund the three monthly charges of $35 each. This seems to be illegal. I later found out that the internet has numerous. This is for the months of May, June and July 2022.

Membership fee
7/28/22 — Just cancelled a membership I was told I had subscribed to when I used services back on 6/10/22. All I was verbally asked for was to pledge $1 towards a credit card and I would be in contact with a service rep. Nothing was mentioned about becoming a member. There was an additional charge from 6/10 of $37 which I didn't followup on. However, when I saw the same charge come up again on 7/10 I called the 800 listed on my card statement. That is when I found out it was a non-refundable membership fee. Let me be clear about this - my intent was not to sign up for a membership. I was told what in the terms of agreement that was on record (buried somewhere on multitiple pages) — that I was a member. That a very sneaky way to get funds from me without verbally indicating membership options. There are 2 months worth of membership fees that have been debited from my card — I want them to be refunded.
If matter is not rectified to my satisfaction, I'll refer situation to the BBB

Unauthorized charge for membership fee
I used this service to ask ONE question. When making an account their membership policy is unclear and confusing. It's stated it cost 1 dollar to sign up (which would be refunded) but in actuality they charged me 46 dollars for a membership fee to answer ONE question, which they answerd poorly in my opinion. And they are refusing to refund that 46 dollars even though I was unknowingly a "member" for less than 24 hours, It seems in not the first person they have done this to. The sad part is my question I asked them was about how to get child support because I am a single mother who is unemployed and because of their policy of taking 46 dollars I now have 50 dollars in my account to support my toddler. They are refusing to refund my money even though I told them I wasn't satisfied with their services and I only asked 1 simple question to the expert, and the answer was not anything that wasn't public knowledge. An hour ago justanswer took $47 from my PayPal account. I had never even heard of justanswer . I certainly did not order their service. I called them and got the run around. I had a chart with them and they said it would take2 days for an answer. I don't want an answer I want my money back now!

At 6:00am this morning I had a chat with Amazon about a $1.29 two sided tape order that never arrived. Ordered on May 22, 2022 Order# [protected]. A few minutes later , I noticed on my emails that a service (?) that called itself Justanswer just this minute had taken 47$ from my PayPal account .
I immediately contacted Justanswer and tried to get my money back. Somehow they had gotten ahold of all the information in my Amazon order for the two sided tape, because Justanswer sent me the all the information about this Amazon order .
Then they asked me if I recognized this Amazon information! Unbelievable!
Amazon had to have been the place where Justanswer got my PayPal information . No one else had this information
Justanswer then told PayPalI that I had ordered a $47 "per month" subscription on my PayPal account. I had never even heard of this company! I never had any dealings with this company. I had not subscribed to any thing . I had not used PayPal account in days . It was a nightmare!
I keep trying different ways to get my money back. Finally I got a email from them saying that they were returning my money.

07/27/22 I was told $1 for one answer. I was charged that then suddenly another charge for $34. I told them I never authorized it, can't afford a membership, and never asked for a membership.
They lied about me agreeing to any fee other than that $1 for one answer. They refuse to provide a refund and insist that I agreed to it.
I'm in an emergency situation due to a car breakdown and I am disabled and use my car to make a living and not be on disability. I need every last dollar I have to get the car repaired. I used that website in good faith to get an answer to one question regarding diagnosing the car. I was told $1 and agreed to it. I never agreed to $34 for any sort of ongoing membership.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund of $34 for a service I never knowingly subscribed to and did not need or want.
I was advised that I had the service canceled so quickly that the pending charge ended up dropping off all together which I confirmed to be correct.
The FTC need to look into these crooks.
Like everyone else here the same EXACT thing happened to me. Tell me a $1.00 charge and then charged $50 yes, $50 for a membership I did not authorize. Apparently it is buried in a print so minute and hidden within the body of where you give your credit card information - you need a microscope to read. They are crooks and anyone (their "experts") who is associated with this corrupt scammer are also corrupt. They know what is going on but don't care as they get a percentage of the scam.

I thought this site worked like so many that have a trial period before you are charged because I saw that a $5 fee was refundable. I'm not sure what the $5 fee is for if they are going to charge $60? I never saw that I was paying $60 with my credit card. I feel like I was mislead because they tell you the 3 steps but never mention a membership fee.
The only place I saw cost over $5 was when it said it would cost $59.99 to talk to the Lawyer who answered my initial question. He didn't really answer my question in detail and I immediately cancelled "membership".

I contacted JustAnswer on 06/17/2022 and was repeatedly given incorrect advice (such as stating that my dog for sure had a malignant tumor on his paw that could only be corrected by surgery when it was a foxtail that was easily treated without any complications). I then immediately cancelled my member ship well within the trial period time but was still charged the full membership fee for June 2022. I contacted JustAnswer and was told that there was no record of my cancellation but, from then on, it would be cancelled and my bankcard would not be charged any further. Yet, in July 2022, I was once again charged the monthly membership fee. I again contacted JustAnswer and was again told that there was non record of my cancelling the membership (this was changed once I began to read word-for-word from a text message I had received from JustAnswer). I was also told that I would not be receiving a refund and, when I asked for additional contact information for JustAnswer, I was refused this information and was told that no contact information.

They charged me 1 dollar to ask a question on july 14th at around noon. Then 12 hours, at midnight on July 1th, they charged an additional 60.00. Its beyond messed up and they refuse to refund it, even though I havent used their service. Customer service was dismissive and rude and said the company never ever refunds money and i should have read the fine print. I suggest you run and don't use this service. Complete scam!

I logged into the service Just Answer on 29 May 2022. I did not request the service after being told the fee but I was charged ZAR 599.00. This was charged to me Credit Card.

Today, July 6, 2022, I went to Just Answer for help which they said they could solve my problem. I was charged $1 and then another $39 to work with an expert who was supposed to solve my issue. After going back and forth on my cell phone and computer and doing what I was told to do, my issue was NOT solved. Instead, I was sent to a Youtube video about aligning the print heads for a printer that was not my model. When I went online to my bank, I saw they not only chatged me the $1 plus the $39, but also $37 for who knows what!

I accessed the site looking for an answer about a serger sewing machine. To receive the answer, advertised as a $1.00 charge, I realized my card would be charged $37.00 per month for a membership.
I did not want a membership of any kind and felt the site did not explain the membership charge before the card information was used.
I immediately canceled the membership on the answer screen and called the customer service number provided there. I was told the membership was canceled, but the one month charge would remain. A confirmation number was given very quickly and I was only able to get JA190... before the call ended. Sounded like a recording.
I called another customer service and was assured the membership was canceled, but there would be no refund for the current month charge of $37.
