Honda Motor make sound on brakes

this to bring your kind to my activa i hve purchase on 8 june, 2011 in from starting the problem was on pulling the brakes a sound comes frm back tyre on first service i said machine to check the prblm but they said ki kuch nhi hai ye abhi nayi hai isiliye aarahi hogi aur kaha ki jyada prbl aaye to le aana sir aap btaye ki main roz around 25km showroom frm my house lekar jao plz help us for this inconvienent prblm

I Have purchased Honda Activa Delux in 27.07.2010. from M/s Jupiter Honda, Visakhapatnam. Since First servicing onwards Bracket was found damaged as informed by dealer's mechanic. Due to this problem rear view mirror could no fitted. It is consedered as safety item and vital for driving. First, second and third servicing over but repair could not be done as due to non availability of spares in the servicing station. OCt 2011 last week over telephone informed that parts came and it can be replaced and they have replaced. after replacement they indicated pivot is not working. Again informed that spares not available ansd confirmed that within three days parts may come. More than 10 days over but I have not received any inforformation regarding arrival of spares. My problem remain as it is that mirror could not fitted.
you are requested to kindly help me in this regard.

Honda Motor feeling cheated by honda

Just sharing my feelings and thoughts.

I’m feeling cheated and disappointed with Honda on how things are being handled on their end. I booked my Insight in May and I don't mind the long wait because I like the design and look of the car. However, I'm disappointed on how the company is reacting on the price increase after Japan faced the earthquake and all. I booked my car for RM98, 000 and recently they informed me that the car is ready (I'm so happy and it was earlier than expected), but the price is RM99, 800. I understand there's these fineprints saying they can make changes to the price/ specification without any prior notice, but then again they clearly show that they are not considerate and never think from their customers’ perspective. It’s definitely not ethical to increase the price of the car after your customer has paid downpayment for the booking of the car. Even though Honda believes that they have the rights, so bye bye Insight and Honda!

Honda Motor dissatisfaction with the service centre

I found that there is flashing "D" light on dashboard last night and felt it is jerking forward when moving forward after stopping and reversing. Therefore, I went to the nearest Honda service centre which is Sutera Auto Sdn Bhd to check it.

However, the staff told me that can't check it by today since i didn't make any appointment since it is full of cars need to service except i have to leave my car with them for 1 night. I asked them whether i can make it due to safety reason and I can wait for few hours but not over night. However, the staff still refused to accept me. I gave him the reason why I can't leave my car over night since I am a marketing manager and I need a car to do marketing and planning works. I felt unhappy and would like to make a complaint, but the staff named Mohd Zaidi told me that i can go ahead. I really disappointed with such service provided by HONDA.

This is not the first time i disappointed with Honda service center, previously is Kah Motor Sdn. Bhd. (Melaka & Chan Sow Lin branch). I am planning to change a new car but my new car would not be HONDA anymore even though this is my second Honda car. (previously is Honda City)

Honda Motor new product failure issue

I booked a new vehicle (Hero Honda - Hunk) on May 31st 2011 in an authorised Hero Honda Showroom. It is Mohana Motors in Velacherry, Chennai. I got the new vehicle delivery on June 13th 2011 evening by 6:00 pm. The vehicle allotted t me had noise in the engine. When I enquired about that, I was told that since the petrol is very minimal in the petrol tank, the sound is coming. So, I took the bike and filled the petrol tank, but still the noise was there. I again came to the showroom and enquired about the same. Again I was told that the engine needs to get set and the mechanic asked me to use the bike for two days and then it will get solved. But even after two days, the problem was still there. So, I again went to Mohana Motors and informed the same. Then they said they will check it and asked me to handover the bike. So, I handed over the bike on 15th June 2011 and waited there to know about the fault. After checking, they told me that the oil pump is not working in that bike and it will take two working days to rectify it. They asked me to collect the bike on Friday (17th June 2011). Then, I contacted Mohana Motors on Friday before starting from my home to take the bike. They said that they have ordered some engine part and that it will take one more day. So they asked me to collect the bike on Monday (20th June). Then, I contacted Mohana Motors on Monday, but again they said the same reason and asked me to collect on tuesday (21st June). This continued for the whole week, day by day. Finally, I contacted them on Next Monday (27th June 2011). Then the deputy manager told that I will get bike only on the next day, for which I did not accept and after a long conversation with another manager, they accepted to give me the bike on Monday (27th June) evening after 6:00 pm. Then I took the bike by 6:00 pm and I am currently using it now. I am really disappointed with the service that i got from Mohana Motors. I did not even receive a single call from Mohana Motors from the time of booking to till date to tell me the update atleast. They did not even mind to update me about the delay. This has been really a bad experience for me. Also, I wonder how Hero Honda delivered such a faulty bike to its dealers. With the engine noise itself, Hero Honda should have stopped this bike from delivery. I am really frustrated by the Mohana Motors have carried out this issue. I am using hero Honda bikes from the time I got driving license, but I had wonderful moments with them. But this time I am very much frustrated with Hero Honda also because they have delivered such a faulty bike. I write this complaint on Mohana Motors, who was not responsible in this issue and they have not even apologised even once for this delay. I want a compensation for such a delay and for not updating their customer for the delay and also for not apologising. Hero Honda should have tracked whether every thing is smooth with the customer when the situation like this. But this also has not happened. So, I require compensation from Hero Honda for delivering me a faulty bike and for my frustration. My invoice number with Mohana Motors is 11160-02-SINV-[protected]. Honda Motor non-availability of “honda dio” scooter spares

This Complaint is regarding the non-availability of “Honda Dio” scooter SparesI purchased from “ATUL HONDA” Aurangabad, Maharashtra, and I have problems in my Honda Dio-vehicle since last five months and the dealer is not responding my complaint saying that the spares are not available with him. This matter is registered in your Authorized dealer as mentioned above but, the dealer is repeatedly saying the spares are not available from the day it has been registered in the service center in spite of repeated follow up for the same and my vehicle is lying in my home waiting for the spares. It is really discouraging for the customers like me having purchased your vehicle (HONDA DIO). You are requested to communicate the same with the dealer for the spares. I hope you will help me in this regard to get the genuine spares. Also I contact many time to time (phone & Email) in company customer care & register my complaint but they are not responding my complaint last 3 to 4 months pls. help me

Honda Motor goodlife passport is not available

Hello Sir,

I am regular customer of HM Motors. Panvel.; with hero honda cd100 Red
color bike. Registration no. MAY 206. PURCHASE from thane, started using
from 22/9/1988 . I maintained it with Authorised dealers regularly whene
ver required./sujested. I am having passport from beginning --Akshar Motors
CBD which was now closed. But I am renwing passport & getting vehical
serviced form H M Motors -Panvel for last so many years.
from sept 2012 This year I had given my passport card with them but not
getting renewed because of some on line data entry problem this was told
to me from cleark in dealer office. ? basically chaissis no . is not
matching ? i had given xerox etc all papers with them . they personally
know me & my bike also..
. WHEN I ASKED ABOUT IT WITH THERE MANAGER THEY HAD GIVEN THERE
COROSPONDANCE WHICH CLEARLY SHOWS THERE IS PROBLEM AT YOUR END.( attaching
corrospodance for your refferance.)
please look in to the problem & SOLVE IT . so that i can continue with your
passport.
I hope at least in new year, you will give this small good news by

Its not only the case of karnataka but the same issue exists in maharashtra, Mumbai & Pune. Most of the spare parts are not available in the market like chain spocket, rear shock absober, clutch plate.

Honda Motor due to misalignment in the rear wheel th emud guard of the rear wheel has totally worn out and also loss of tool kit above the mudguard

I Mr KasiViswanathan purchased a Honda Shine Motorcycle on 04.03.2011 Chassis No: ME4JC36CBB8183688 & ENGINE NO: JC36E2273033 . I had problem just before my 2nd service wherein due to your misalignment in the rear wheel the mudguard of the rear wheel got worn out resulting not only to the damage to my mudguard but also i lost my Tool kit given by you which was just above it so i informed the same while leaving the my motorcycle for my second service on 31.05.2011 to JSP Honda, No 22/24, Padi pudunagar main Road, Annanagar West Extn Chennai - 600001 but till now they are giving evasive answers such as that the mudguard is not available we will replace when they get the same but I do not know when they will give my vehicle it is already now 20 days and Still I do not know when I will get my vehicle Please let us know the same

Honda Motor parts not given in warranty

I am purchsed ZMR motor byke 13 augest 2010. when I doing 1st service then my byke two parts problem creat .every body &supervisor see the my byke problem. but few months later this problem are same to same. he doesnot care.
My byke problem are - 1, All time moister head light unit . 2, Head light upper black screen is side crack manufacturing defult.
so What i do?

Honda Motor delivery delay

Dear Sir
With due respect this is to inform you that I had booked a Honda Activa on 03/05/2011 (booking No. 11252) in the Name Mr. Bikash Aich at your authorized dealer M/s. Jay Bee Honda, G.S. Road, Guwahati, Assam at the time of booking they did not given me any vehicle delivery date, now they are saying that it will take minimum 6 months for the same. Issue is that is there any policy of your esteem company as above ? If not why I am suffering? Hope I will get a positive step from your end. Thank you!

Honda Motor bad or no response from the dealer

Hi,
I am Anoj Francis, a very loyal customer of your brand and very much satisfied the with the Honda Vehicles (I own A Honda City, Honda Activa and a Honda Aviator).
The Reason why i am writing this letter is, I have booked a new Honda Aviator in EVM Honda Cochin (Account No# 55554) .I still dont know when I will get the delivery. I still not able to get a resposible person online and whenever I call them the person who picks the phone acts like or sounds like he is from "MOON" (no clue about the happenings).Pls do the needfull and please dont put me in blank.

Honda Motor battery problem

I purchased Honda Activa from Thar Honda Sikar a month back and since the first day I was seeing a starting problem. It was even when I was handed over the Activa from showroom. That time they told me that we need to run the scooter few kilometers to get the battery fully charged and then this problem will go. But after running few hundred kilomenters in that month the problem was same. Most of the time I had to stand in the busy market to start the scooter with the manual kick which was really disappointing.
Now the dealer is saying that the batter has problem and the replace can take aroung a month or long. They are even not providing me any standby battery and just making my life more tough.

my name is aruna mathur i have purchased honda activa in the month of october 2009 & the battery of my activa started giving problem in july 2010 & when i gone to the honda dealer of our city i.e.seth & sons in guna M.P. they people recharged the battery & give it back to us but nw again on 10th of august battery discharged & when i gone to the dealer thy filed the complaint they hav taken my activas battery & said that it will take at least 1-month.
this duration is very long & it is so difficult for me to handle my vehicle without horn, without indicator, without head light...
please please take some action as soon as possible
how could the new battery which has even not completed its warrenty period of 1year gets failed
the dealer is making us fool & u should improve the quality of ur brands batteries
my activa is on the name of my mumma

Hi All,

Even, I had the starting problem with self start. But the problem was a bit more grave. Along with self start, the indicator and the horn would also not work. And No, the problem was not with the battery, as I was sure that a maintenance free battery wont cause me problem within one year. But, the good thing was my scooter would start with a couple of tries by keeping the choke open and by kick starting. So I asked the mechanic at the Honda Service station regarding the problem. He told me to put a drop of engine oil in the key hole. I tried even that but to no avail. Then I decided to open it up. Opening the battery compartment is not a tedious or complicated task. Just 4 nuts as given in the manual. Here you can see the hind of the key hole, where three wires are connected. One of the wire goes straight down through a black connector and there is another connector which is white in colour which has three wires going through it. I disconnected both the connectors cleaned them and reconnected them. This did the trick and my self start is working fine since then...

Honda Motor geting my gifts from good life

I byes GOOD LIFE card from Rangpuri Showroom K S Moters Rangpuri New Delhi.

This my big complain against the gifts receiving from them that from last 06 months every months I go to agency & I ask for my gift then I get reply that they are Out of Stock.

Here my question is if you are out of stock from last 06 months then how you are issuing the new card & giving the gift to members & if you not out of stock then why I am not getting.

Please refer to my communication dated 30.05.2011 bringing to your attention the deficiency in service on part of HONDA, its dealers, service centers causing mental agony and harassment.

1. I purchased HONDA I-V TECH, chasis no. MAKGM252D9N. During first service itself, car was damaged by Ring Road Honda, Peeragarhi, Delhi. After a protracted follow up Back-light and bumper were agreed to be replaced by HONDA. Same were got replaced from Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon.

2. In view of news paper reports calling back HONDA CITY. I had delivered my car on 2.03.2011 at around 13 hrs. to Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon for necessary part change. At the time of delivering my vehicle, since car was giving starting trouble from very beginning, I requested for checking of battery. I received a call informing that battery is not working properly and need replacement. After taking up matter with dealer and HONDA 121, a decision was taken and conveyed to me by HONDA that battery will be replaced free of cost. Subsequently, about after three days I was advised to take delivery of car without replacing battery with the assurance that in case there is any problem with battery same will be replaced free of cost. I took back delivery of car on 5.03.2011. After PUD, it is noticed that when car is driven at speed above 70 kmphr, it gives noise like being that of Diesel vehicles. I had taken up matter with HONDA several times but there is no satisfactory solution to it. I even sent my car to Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon on 26.04.2011 but still there is no solution. On discussion with automobile engineer, it is understood that noise may be due to faulty fuel injectors. Since there was no noise before PUD, it is apprehended that dealer may have fiddled/ replaced fuel injectors.

3. It may be mentioned that my car was having starting trouble from very beginning, for which I had also availed services of Honda road side help several times last being on 22.05.2010 vide reference no. 16952. Since then I am regularly following up with HONDA 121 without any fruitful result.

4. Vide communication dated 30.05.2011, I had requested your intervention in the matter to settle the issue of unwarranted noise and change of defective battery. The matter was discussed with General Manager, Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon on 31.05.2011. After explaining the matter for about an hour to him, he assured that both the concerns will be addressed satisfactorily. He requested me to send the car. A mutual date on 6.06.2011 was agreed for sending the car to Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon.

5. As there is always a tendency on the part of Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon not to address the concerns instead keep the customer hanging and also not to give any written assurances for future reference, I requested General Manager, Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon to send an e-mail to the effect that battery is being replaced free of cost and noise problem will be addressed. I am yet to receive e-mail in this regard.

6. To my utter surprise, I again received a call from Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon at 10:33 AM today. They again started asking about details of concern. The whole exercise had again come to a roundabout without any solution.

Honda Motor bad reputation

Honda Civic has major engine problems! When Engine noise came suddenly, we took car (1 year old 12k miles) to dealership. Dealers says we must havegone hit a pothole and water splashed into engine and engine is dead. LOL.Civic is not like a bicycle..Honda America refuses to return call for days (April 24th through May 11th) and the british accent lady at Honda America is arrogant when finally we reached her on May 11th. They claim we get call back in 48 hours..LOL..days passed and my repeated calls were returned by Honda America. Dealer "negotiates with" reputed Insurance company for days while Insurance adjuducator insists there is no water in Engine. Honda is a joke.

WHEN I REACHED HE IS SAYINY ME THAT YOUR BATTERY IS NOT WORKING WE HAVE TO GIVE IN WARRANTY .I SAID THAT YOU HAVE SAID ME YOUR BIKE IS READY BUT DURING THAT TIME BIKE WAS NOT READY AND IT IS BEEN DELEVRED TO MY HOME AT 8.15PM . WHEN ON 10.00PM I HAVE TESTED MY BIKE .HANDLE WAS NOT PROPER AND SPEEDOMETER IS NOT WORKING PROPER AND FUEL INDICATOR IS NOT WORKING PROPER. 11. WHEN I SAID MR. SAGAR SHETH PLEASE REPLACE ANOTHER BATTERY HE IS SAYING THAT I CAN NOT DO THAT. STILL I SAID OK WHEN I REQUESTED TO REPLACE ANOTHER BIKE TILL ANOTHER BATTERY OR PROBLEM IS SOLVED. HE (MR.SAGAR SHETH) SAID NO . STILL I SAID OK DO ONE THING KEEP MY BIKE WITH YOU AND WHEN EVERYTHING AND EVERY PROBLEM IS SOLVED THEN CALL ME I WILL TAKE MY BIKE THEN HE IS DEMANDING FOR 20 (TWENTY RUPEES ) CHARGES EXTRA.PER DAY.STILL MY SPEEDOMETER AND FUEL INDICATOR AND BATTEERY PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED.

13. WHEN I WENT TO COLLEGE AND INTERVIEW DURING THAT TIME MY BIKE GOT STOPPED AND WAS NOT WORKING .I CALLED MR SAGAR SHETH THAT IN THAT CONDITION WHAT SHOULD I DO. HE SAID ME EITHER SHOW LOCAL MECHANIC OR PUT IN TEMPO AND BRING TO SERVICE CENTER.
14. EVEN ON BILL NO 2608 HE HAS CHARGED ME FOR BATTERY CHARGING WITHOUT CHECKING .
15. I HAVE PAID THE BILL AT AROUND 4.30 OR 5.00PM ON DATED 16/05/2011.
16. WHEN I SAID TO MR SAGAR SHETH THAT WITHOUT LIGHT OR HORN HOW CAN I TRAVEL SUCH A LONG DISTANCE HE HAD REPLIED ME KEEP YPUR BIKE AT HOME .I HAVE TAKEN BIKE FOR USE IN PROPER WAY AND FOR PROPER MEANS AND NOT FOR SHOW PIECE.

the same case with my karizma 2005 model
me and my friend were soo frustrated that my friend picked up a rod and slammed into the headlight of one bike standing there
aftr dat sagar replaced dat headlight by removing another bike's headlight...and aftr one headlight broke...he did our work in half hour..!
This is the worst service center...they remove the brand new parts of bikes and scooters before delivry and replace with old and worn out parts...and sell the orignal in black market!
i serously think this service center and ###er Sagar shld b burnt in their ###..!

Honda Motor poor service and bad behaviour of manager

Dear Sir,

I' ve bought a hero honda spelndor plus bike on Sep-2010 from Chambal motors Kota after 2 month the bike seat getting totally damage and i told to manager he said that he will repair or replace seat without any charge but after some time manager has been changed and tomorrow i went for servicing of bike and sair to repair the seat but manager told me that this not comes in his scope.how can it possible one manager ready to repair/replace and another saying that it not comes in his scope.
Tommorow i go for servicing and face lots of problem as below:
1. The battery is totally discharged and manager saying that he will not charge the battery or he will not replace it if there is any problem in battery.
2. He replaced the oil but told me that he dont give the gurranty of replaced oil which he replace.
3. The seat got totally damaged and he refused to repair it and demanding 1800 rs. for new seat.
4. The behaviour of manager is not good. He abused and said take away your bike.i aksed him to give me e-mail id or no. of head office of Hero honda but he said go where u want to go.

So I would like to please, before i'm going to consumer forum, Please do something in favoure of me.

Honda Motor battery problem

I am gajendra R. Kamble. AT. PO. Pimpalkhuta. Tq. Arvi Dist Wardha I have purchased HONDA SHINE BIKE CB 125 from Harison's wardha Showroom. after 8 months battery(MINDA) is completely dead NO BACK VP VOLTAGE STAND (VOLTAGE NOT STAND) Problem.I have complaint about this problem to dealer.They didn't take any corrective action against this complaints.moreover they have charged from me to check the problems.regarding the battery after 28 days still they have not send it for replacement.The branch manager and service section supervisor never they did not hear the problem.I think this not way to deal with customer.PLEASE TAKE THIS MATTER SERIOUSLY, BECAUSE I HAVE LOOSE MY PATIENT OTHERWISE I WILL COME THRU THE LEGAL ACTION.I am unhappy to purchase HONDA SHINE from beginning.

Honda Motor deposit refund

A few months I gave a deposit on a bike. When my application for credit was refused, that'snwhen all the problems started.
When I told them I was going to get my money back the next day, nothing was ready, no paperworks, the key people did not seem to be aware of the situation. Everytime I call to find out the status of my refund, all I hit is delays, excuses and more delays.
Now a week later... finally or so I thought, when they said they finally prepared the cheque.( Most liekely beacause I called Honda Canada and complaned as well as the better business bureau). I asked about the amount on the cheque... at my big surprise! ( yeah right) they tell me it will be a little bit less because of taxes and administartion fees. bla bla bla...
The law clearly states in Alberta that any deposit given towards an credit application that gets refused must be returned in it's full amount.

My advice... If you are going to deal with them... Make sure you only have to do it once... Arrive with all your cash in hand to pay in one shot your purchase or if possible try to see if you can buy somewhere else the product your looking.
If it's this hard to get money back for something that is law, imagine when it came time to perform after sales warranty issue's!
I hope I'm the only one who had to deal with this issue as it has been causing me a great deal level of stress and greive having to deal with this issue.
