Google GMail

I cannot access my GMail account on my laptop although I remember perfectly my password because I need to have my phone with me every time I want to access my emails from a device that is not my phone. I have had GMail since 2005 and always used it on computers. I hate that I am forced to have my phone with me every time! They should add a pin or another password and ask the user to insert both of them to authenticate. Phones can be lost too!

I have started using Yahoo mail to import my multiple gmail accounts and have switched to Outlook calendar to avoid the multiple requests for authentication when I don't always have my phone available. This will push me away from using Google services as others are availab.e

Again they Warned you before Nov 21 [about 3 or 4 months before] via email that they will be activating it permanently on 11/9/21. they listed the steps to go through if you wanted to keep using their services and if you didn't then to walk away from them and stop using their products. this didn't come out of the blue, the 2 step verification has been on the platform for years just optional. with the recent spike in data breaches they decided to make it mandatory to keep us safe. yeah its a pain to have to go through but it is necessary for our safety [well as safe as you can be].

You are correct, they warned us. But other services use authentication that is far less cumbersome, registers computers that are regularly used and don't require me to open youtube on my iphone. As you said, I have started to walk away from google so thanks for your affirmation of my decision

this was warned to all users a few months ago that all accounts will be two factor authentication permanently. you can setup 2 factor to do email or phone. i forget the other way. its always suggested to have a backup recovery email for this kind of situation.

Apparently it's not possible to opt for 2 factor authentication to happen on the same device, which makes it impossible then to access your account although you know all passwords! If I needed to access my email in a matter of urgency I would only be able to on my phone, but what if my phone is damaged or list or dead?!?!?!

correct you CANT opt anymore. if you have a android phone you can access security settings. if not you need to contact support. once in the security settings of your account you can change how the authentication works.

Google Ordered nest mini online november 26

WORST ONLINE EXPERIENCE EVER. i ordered the nest mini November 26. the status shows shipped that very day with a UPS tracking number. On December 12th when i realize i never received the nest mini i went back to track the shipment and to my surprise when i click on the tracking number the UPS website says there was no such shipment. looking to contact google i realize you can only start a chat because there is no customer service telephone number. for 4 days i would periodical try to create a chat but to my chagrin there were no available slots for me until i decided to create a chat before 9am on Dec 16. i was told i would get some email with some type of resolution from a higher up but still no answer & when i try to create a new case i am told that the first case was already escalated . help! google is the worst customer service for a technology company. imagine if they start to sell TV's.

Google Google Earth

I'm unhappy with the level of picture clarity of Google Earth. This is an invasion of privacy. From Google Earth images, you can clearly see everything in our yard, directly into our garage, number plates, image of myself & pet. No one should be able to directly see into our personal private spaces. I am angry that anyone can choose to use this means to even case out places to steal from. You do not have my permission to take these photos, keep them in your data & upload them. Please delete the images.

Google Play ap, g,co/helppay#ie

This google play app has an unauthorised amount taken from my account
for no apparent reason other then some one in intelligence has decided to
make a problem in my life simply because google isn't doing their job
effectively when it comes to personal individuals financial information. I never bought or had a subscription on Google play app and don't see why I am been listed for this apparent lack of security protocol in googles card payment systems. It seems that any old dick and harry can access peoples credit card info and decide to just bypass googles security by buying willy nilly whatever they seem fit when they are far from it . I am vexed at the lack of security protocols at google HQ. This sort of victimisation of individuals has to stop and I expect a full investigation into the culprits that are offending hard honest and goodwill patrons on the internet . We shall not be victims to state collusion and harassment in any form cyber physical institutional or otherwise. I do hope google finds their accusers and puts and end to this electronic harassment.

I keep getting charged for this google app and have no reason why! I will probably have to cancel my debit card because although the charges are $10, $3, sometimes more, they add up! I don’t feel it’s fair to have charges I have NOT made!

Fatta segnalazione: nessuno - ne Google ne DHL sa fornire spiegazioni sull'effettiva consegna. Dopo alcuni giorni emettono una nuova spedizione con la motivazione di pacco smarrito o rubato. Anche questa volta io non ricevo nulla e dal tracking fornito risulta "consegnato".

Google gmail

Google can't spy so easily on activity when users access PCs so they force smart phone use of the email application.

They do this by suddenly demanding a two step id process to get in to your mailbox.

The usual method of gmail access we resort to is via pc desktop or smart phone.

When the 2 step id process was suddenly, and for NO REASON other than that stated above, imposed on me, I had zero intention of allowing myself to be coerced. Thus, repeatedly, I abandoned the gmail page that was demanding I cow-tow to the two step control procedure.

Result : pc access to t he account was blocked!

I hereby THANK Gmail for bringing me to my senses. We pay for dedicated email boxes provided by our ISP; foolishly we don't use them! These obstructive antics imposed by the GAFAM fascists are exactly that: fascist.
Now, once and for all, we will away from the nasty Obergruppenführers.

All gmail users should think very carefully before engaging with this tentacular abysmal outfit which has rights all kinds of sordid methods of holding on to personal data indefinitely. Never forget that Alphabet owns gmail and they are a key players behind the totalitarian putsch currently underway : plandemic/bioterrorism, fake climate change crisis, and ultimately take over of all assets of individuals - aka The Great Reset!

I am so disgusted that you expect your employees to be vaccinated with a vaccine that is killing people which in reality it's not a vaccine. I'm so disgusted that a company would demand that it's people put aborted fetus in their body! You should all be in jail or rot in hell for putting aborted fetus in your body so disgusted. Does it really have aborted babies ? Does it really change DNA ? I am unsure really I have heard some horror stories . I stay home and haven't been vaccinated yet .
I am a donor so I don't want to risk anything being contaminated .

the "Stories" are just that, stories. no all the vaccines are nerfed [dead] versions of the virus. there is no human cells that i know of. DNA mod? that is a new one, last i checked it does not change the DNA of the person who got a vaccine. there are experimental cures that have been debunked or are in testing but the currently approved ones are not made from human cells.

though like i said before long as you keep safe [via the preventative measures] it is your choice to get the vaccine or not. Also i noticed auto correct broke one of the words in my last post. i meant sanitization not sensitization.

let me clear up some information here.

1. the vaccine is not killing people, it is protecting people from the virus. though it cant do its job alone. it requires vigilance to also be effective. this means sensitization, wearing a mask [you don't know who might have the virus or what variant] washing your hands and other steps to prevent infection.

2. within the public and workers health safety law this is permitted for companies to require reasonable health requirements rules.

3. google asked everyone to get the vaccine or risk pay cut and possible termination [true]. they ALSO offered exemption applications to side step this rule. once they get the paperwork they review it and it is approved or disproved on a case by case basis. if they find the evidence for the exemption during their checking of the information submitted is false they can reject the request.

4. while google yes made this rule for its workers health it is ultimately up to the employee if they will CHOOSE pay cut and maybe fired, getting the vaccine, or walking away from the company.

this issue though is in almost every company not just google.

Google Gmail

I had an account with gmail from 2016 until 2018. I purchased a new phone and changed my phone number in August of 2018. I tried to log in with my email address and password and a message popped up that said "Google doesn't recognize this device. For security, Google will send you a verification code to verify its you". Well that doesn't help me since I no longer have that phone and thought since I have the username and password I should be able to log in with any device. Apparently that's not the case. In August of 2018 I sent an email to Google Recovery explaining my problem. They sent me an email two days later telling me to use Google's FREE recovery process to log back into my account. I did and answered a few questions that verified that I am the subscriber of that account. About a week later I received an email that read "Thank you for your interest in Google products and services! Unfortunately, Google wasn't able to verify that you're the owner of this account. If you're having trouble logging in, please use Google's recovery process to log back into your account"
I went back and forth with this crap for about two more weeks until I finally gave up! Well it came to my attention that there is a very important email from my grandpa who has since passed away in that gmail account. So I tried again and got the same BS response that I got in 2018 and that's as of December 7th 2021. Again I have the correct username and password, but Google doesn't recognize the device I'm using. Same BS! I filed a complaint with the FCC, but Google has not responded. Apparently they think they are too big to care about their subscribers! I've deleted 2 other gmail accounts and deGoogled my phone! I'll never use another gmail account or anything attached to Google again!

Desired outcome: I want to log back into my old account and I want an apology for having to deal with the BS that Google put me through for the past 3 years!!

I got Target debit card as a gift.
I did not check the balance since I received it. And now there are unauthorized transactions by your company (list of transactions is attached).
I did not purchase these service and no one has access to my card.

looks like the old scam where people carefully remove the silver on the card and copy the numbers, or copy the numbers and waited for it to become activated. once they see it activated made purchases till its empty. its a sad problem. the only thing if i recall you can do is report it to target. though i don't know if you will get the money back.

Google Redeem voucher - Missing balance?

Dear Compliance Team,

Please help me out here. I purchased two vouchers, a 15€ and 25 € Google voucher to topup my account in order to purchase a single month subscription of OkCupid.

I admit i just pressed ok to pass through quickly while redeeming the vouchers but it seams I exchanged my voucher value into Call of Duty: Mobile Adds, which were offered during the process of redeeming the vouchers.

I am not interested nor play Call of duty. Did I really redeem my vouchers for exchange into those Call of duty adds? At first glance, I thought the COD Adds were offered as an addition to the voucher redemption ...

If so, and I can not see any other reason how,

please take the Call of duty adds back and refund the voucher value onto my Google account.

Of course, I dont have the voucher codes anymore. I threw the phyisical voucher cards into the next bin ...
