I have detailed our 5 separate and incongruous repairs on the GRMN2072AF01 model 3 or more times to the warranty department in the last 2 weeks. They are well aware that they have not created a claim or sent me an email that they are addressing the issue of the lemon condition fridge.

Frigidaire laundry center

I purchased a laundry center at the end of Dec 2023. It was installed on Jan 6, 2024. I used it once and 8it stopped working. I went through the warranty company, and they sent an appliance repairman. He came out 4-5 times to no avail. It is June 6 and I still have a washer and dryer that is inoperable. I have asked for a replacement numerous times and they keep giving me the run around. It has been 6 months. Ridiculous. Their customer service agents lied to me, hung up on me several times. I am at wits end. They keep ordering more parts that does not work. Help

Claimed loss: I have had to drive out here 3 times to be here when the repairman arrives. This is my seasonal home. It cost me $200 round trip each time. I also have had to go to the laundromat several times. I havce lost out on 6 months of usage.

Desired outcome: replacement or money back including my travel and time

I bought a laundry center and in the first month, the dryer would start and run about 5 seconds. I contacted the now out of business large appliance store. Miraculously, the day the technician came out, it started working. But here less than a year later, the same problem. I replaced the circuit board, it ran about a week and stopped again. I contacted Frigidaire and was informed that since my warranty ran out, they wouldn't assist me. I will never buy another Frigidaire appliance. I paid too much for something that didn't last a year.

Frigidaire Fridgedair Fridge Model # GCRE306CAFM Serial # VF30610766

The fridge is less that a year old and have trouble trouble. The service man has been here twice and even changed the motherboard but now again it is not working. I bought this fridge July 1.2023 and would like to actually talk to a person to get this resolved. It works fine then gets stuck in Defrost mode and will not reset itself. I have tried unplugging it several times and leaving it unplugged for 30 mins at a time. After I got the new motherboard it worked for about a month then started the same thing gets stuck in the defrost mode.

Claimed loss: all my food twice. $ 1000.00 lost in meat alone.

Desired outcome: I want a new fridge that works.

Frigidaire 86 days without a Frigde - Terrible policies- Terrible Service From Both Lowes and Frigidaire

Warning, if you buy an appliance that you absolutely need and can't go without like a fridge, washer, dryer, etc. do not buy a Frigidaire. Our experience has been horrible.
We bought a new fridge from Lowes on Sept 27,2022 and when it was unboxed we noticed a dent in the door. We tried to take it back to Lowes and they said we couldn't return it because we didn't buy the extended warranty so we would need to have Frigidaire replace it. WRONG! On Lowes own website they state that their return policy is 48 hours on all large appliances. We called them less than 24 hours after buying the fridge.

After getting nowhere with Lowes we contacted Frigidaire. They said they would fix it for us and to go ahead and use the fridge.

After plugging the fridge in we filled it with groceries to replace the food that was ruined when our old fridge quit working. That night the fridge started beeping at around 1 am. I woke up and checked the fridge and it had a "High Temp" warning light on. I opened the fridge and all of new groceries were frozen solid, and everything was ruined. I unplugged the fridge to stop the annoying beeping that woke up the entire family, then went back to bed. The next morning I drove to the Lowes store where I bought it and talked to the store manager who told me that they wouldn't take it back because we didn't purchase the extended warranty. I showed him on the Lowes website where it says appliances could be returned within 48 hours and he said he still wouldn't let us return it. Frustrated with Lowes we then contacted Frigidaire and Frigidaire sent out a repairman within a few days and he had to order a part to fix the fridge. It took about a week for that part to come in and get installed. Meanwhile we were putting our food in coolers on the kitchen floor. Within a few hours of the new part being installed the fridge started beeping again. The repairman told us to give the fridge 72 hours to re-calibrate, so we patiently waited with the fridge alarm constantly beeping and keeping the entire family awake at night. After a few days we contacted Frigidaire AGAIN and they sent the repairman out for the third time. He said he would order a different part in hopes of fixing the problem. By this time we had been without a fridge for almost three weeks, and were still living out of portable coolers on the kitchen floor. I called Frigidaire and told them I wanted to return the fridge and get a new one and they said we couldn't do that. Their policy was to fix the fridge until they determine it is un-fixable, then they would replace it, but would not let us return it for a refund.

To shorten this review, I will just say they we waited and waited on the part to come in to hopefully fix the fridge. After many calls to Frigidaire and them not budging on their policy to fix the broken appliance, we finally went and bought another new fridge, this time from Home Depot, and we made sure it wasn't a Frigidaire. After 75 days of living out of coolers on the kitchen floor, we contacted Frigidaire, told them we purchased another new fridge of a different brand, and requested that we return their broken fridge and get our money back. We explained that we had to buy another new fridge so we wouldn't have to live out of coolers. Frigidaire refused and said if we wanted our money back we would have to file a lawsuit to get it back. YES, that is what they told me.

We contacted Home Depot and cancelled our fridge purchase from them since It hadn't been delivered yet, and we kept living our of the coolers while waiting on Frigidaire. Finally at 86 days after purchasing the Frigidaire from Lowes (Dec 22,2022), the repairman had the replacement part and fixed the faulty fridge. We are still waiting on the replacement door that was dented.

There is a warranty act called the Magnusson Moss Warranty Act, and in that it stipulates that an appliance must be replaced or refunded within "Reasonable Time" if it is faulty. Frigidaire does not care, nor comply with that warranty act, and certainly doesn't care how long you go without an appliance if the one you buy from them is faulty. Frigidaire's policy of fixing until it is deemed un-repairable means that YOU as the customer have to wait on them no matter how long it takes for them to fix or replace the broken appliance. Frigidaire does NOT care about you as a customer, they just care about their policies. DO NOT BUY any major appliances from them if it is an appliance you can't live without.

8/8/23 Update - Frigidaire still has not replaced our dented door almost a year later after purchasing. The message we get each month from them is that the supply chain is holding the parts up.
Time for a lawsuit.

Frigidaire Range/oven

Model number FCFG3062ASA. I purchased this model from Lowes in October. When operating the oven a cooling fan with a very high pitched whistle comes on and stays on the entire time baking. Continues until the oven cools. It is obnoxious and deafening. I can not think, much less have a conversation with someone while it is operating. Technician has been out 3 times and assures me it is a fan to cool the mechanical part of the oven. Worst Range ever. Contacted

Frigidaire and no one will help! Do NOT purchase.

Frigidaire Washer/dryer

Bought a new “Laundry Center” (washer/dryer stacked) for our new house. Bought it in November of 22. The house was not ready for install until a couple of weeks ago. Dryer works fine, but the “close lid” light is on on the washer and won’t go out. Customer Service asked me to shut down the breaker and turn it off and wait. It didn’t work, so I called back to ask for a service call. Well of course, all they would tell me was that it was four months out of service. It had not been installed because of the builder needing extra time, I don’t find that unusual and I would think a technician could not only easily fix the problem but confirm that the machine is new and unused.

Desired outcome: free service call to fix and confirm problem is not because of me

Frigidaire Frigidaire upright freezer FFU16F2VW

Purchased this freezer on 01/31/2022. Not even 2 years old and have a system leak which keeps it from freezing. Called customer service and was treated rudely while the first one actually hung up on me after asking to speak to a supervisor. Service man I called said it would cost just as much to try to repair as it would to buy a new one. Second time writing this complaint and have not recieved any type of response. Would never recommend this product or company to anyone I know.

Frigidaire Upright freezer model.FFU16F2VW

Purchased this freezer on Jan. 31, 2022 and has stopped freezing. Called serviceman and was told there was a system leak and it will not cool. Called customer service and the first rep hung up on me while I was explaining the problem. the second told me it was out of warranty and there was nothing I could do. Think you could buy a product that would last at least a couple of years without having to worry about it, plus we had to throw out everything that thawed out. Will not recommend this or any Frigidaire product to anyone that would ask, rude customer service and garbage product

Frigidaire Electric range

I bought all the kitchen appliance from lowes by frigidaire - a fridge, an electric range, a microwave, and a dishwasher in december 2022. The day of christmas 2023 a top left burner (that I don't use much) died. This was after 19 days at the expiration of 1 year warranty. I call them and they were very sorry but the warranty was expired. So it is normal that an important piece of the appliance as a burner doesn't works after a little more than a year? Shame of you I am very sorry because I didn't see the reports before buy it!

Frigidaire Side by side refrig

Frigidaire side by side was purchased at Lowe's on 4/24/23 and 3 year Lowe's protection was purchased as well. On 5/26/23 freezer showed high temp light and Frigidaire was called as they have a one year warrantee that comes with the unit. Tech from repair company affiliated with Frigidaire came on 6/12/23 and had to order parts. It wasn't until 7/28/23 that tech fixed unit. 9/8/23 high temp light for freezer came on again. Called Frigidaire again and got appointment of 9/13/23, which they moved to 9/19 and then repair company moved it to 9/20 due to family emergency. On 9/20, an evaluator was sent and said it was a weak system (which was already known) and that a repairment would need to come (which we already knew). This was Day 121 since trouble started. 9/21/23 called Frigidaire and got appointment for 9/29, which we stated should be sooner. 9/22/23 called Lowe's and waited for an hour before speaking with someone. Rep took all the info and said Frigidaire would be called to say 9/29 would be the last attempt to fix unit. 9/29 repairman came and ordered parts which did not come in until 10/5/23. Repair date was set for 10/10/23 but got moved (again) to 10/16. Repair tech came and installed a new evaporator. Pressure test failed. Tech was to tell Frigidaire the unit needed to be replaced and they would contact us. They did not. 10/23 called Frigidaire and after 45 minute wait spoke to customer service rep; Lowe's to replace unit. Frigidaire unit no longer available (not that we wanted one) and was refunded. Lowe's delivered a Whirlpool of almost equal size on 10/24/23. This process took 5 months from 5/26/23 at report of original problem. Receipts, authorization #'s available upon request.

Desired outcome: Quicker to resolve problems so customer don' t be left without service.

Frigidaire Customer Service

Horrible. Blows my mind. Bought a new oven. Had it professionally installed. The plumber cracked a piece while tightening. We called, and called, and called. We sent photos of the part we need to the Frigidaire service reps we worked with. What we got... "don't have an order number for the piece or even a schematic for the oven." Apparently, the model is new (been out for a year) and that was the issue. Seriously? They wouldn't send a tech. Even told my plumber they were too busy to take the call. This went on for WEEKS. Finally, I pushed to speak to a supervisor (like had to argue to get her on the phone). This women, had the never to say that "since I didn't know what I needed they would be happy to send a tech!" I will NEVER by this brand again and recommend to everyone to buy anything else. Not worth the drama. Thanks to Supervisor Dian who would even give me her last name. What a joke.

Desired outcome: For the customer service department to spare someone else of this miserable experience by getting their act together.

Frigidaire Refrigerator

I bought a new fridge 8 months ago and I just made my 5th call because fridge doesn't get cold! We are elderly retired and have to have medication cold and have been unable to do that with this fridge! We have been left without a fridge for 2 weeks at a time and trying to live out of an ice chest which we have to buy ice everyday! We want a new refrigerator! I am going to contact BBB and someone about elderly abuse because of my medicine! We are on a fixed income and can't afford another fridge or the ice everyday!

Frigidaire Both

Bought a new dishwasher July of 2023

It worked for 2 months . They sent two different repair people . Had to take off work two times . Both said it needed a 500$

Pump . This took 2 months . The pump had never been shipped to me . They say it’s on back order . Now Jan 5 2024 no pump

No replacement dishwasher . Nothing but empty promises on a text message . Phone calls don’t work . Been on hold for over 1 hr several times . They just don’t answer so you will just hang up . 700$ ripoff . Worked for

2 months . They owe me my money back

But of course that will never happen

And they won’t send the part or a new dishwasher . I would love to sue them

Tired of getting ripped off .

Don’t ever ever buy anything from Frigidaire

Pure scam rip off company

Frigidaire Frigidaire wall oven

Work order #[protected]: My wall oven began showing an error code in May 2023. I contacted my extended warranty and they had difficulty finding a tech. After an initial call the local tech would no longer work with the warranty co. Frigidaire was scheduled for 8-28-23/they canceled on 8-28-23: rescheduled for 9-7 & canceled 9-5 due to no parts: rescheduled for 9-20 & canceled 9-5 due to no parts: rescheduled for 11/22- no parts and tech couldn’t find any had been ordered. 3 parts arrived 11-25 & tech was advised. Rescheduled for 12-11 and canceled due to another part not delivered. CSR said he ordered the part- no yet received and no service date scheduled as of 1-2-24.

Frigidaire Frigidaire refrigerator

I have a problem with my Frigidaire refrigerator and I called in because the walls are defective. The plastic is all cracking and I spoke to Kathleen who was very rude and told her that the walls were cracked and she told me to buy the pot and put it in myself, which could never be done. It’s impossible to replace the hole inside of the fridge. I am very dissatisfied, it’s a defect I had the Sears #Warranty, contract people come out and they said that the fridge should be replaced because that’s a major problem. My last fridge was 29 years old and never had a single crack in it. I am very disgusted with the poor service, the Frigidaire provides, and I would like to speak to somebody about this problem Very soon you people at Frigidaire should be ashamed of yourselves the way you treat your customers Kathleen and Joy we’re very unprofessional and unhelpful. Makes me sad that a big company like Frigidaire who’s been around for a long time what allowed us to go on?

Frigidaire Laundry center

I purchased the laundry center December 2022. It worked normally for the first two weeks to a month then my hot water wash stopped working. I have had several service calls since owning it. This is at our winter place so mind you that it does not get used from April to November. A mother board was replaced then, each time someone different came out, I was told it's because it is ECO friendly and doesn't support hot water wash! The owners manual doesn't state anything about this. Today I was told it was because of new government regulations! But even the service guy (after talking to Frigidaire) thought this was a crock. This machine was built in 2022 before any new regulations were enacted, if they were at all! I still can't get a hot water wash. I deserve the washing machine I bought and not a lemon that Frigidaire is trying to cover up.

I contacted the retailer and they said there was nothing they could do because my problem was with Frigidaire and not them. Thankfully I also took out an extra 5 year warranty coverage when the laundry center was purchased. I have called them, explained the situation and they said they would definitely have a service person out to correct the problem and, if not, after all these service calls the machine should be replaced because there is no reason why there is not hot water wash.

Frigidaire Side by side refrigerator

Brand new refrigerator freezes everything on the warmest setting (both fridge and freezer on warmest) and leaks large amounts of water on the floor.

Frigidaire’s call center always tells me there will be an answer in 24 hours, but nothing ever progresses or changes. Endless cycle, terrible customer support. Abysmal.

Take the broken one away and deliver a new working one please.

Frigidaire Dishwasher

Last December 2022 I purchased a new Frigidaire dishwasher. It is now broken and cannot get it fixed. It is stuck on 30 and cannot cancel or shut off. I have called customer service several times and they keep telling me that they will have an answer for me within 24 hours. It is now going on 3 months since I have been able to use the dishwasher. One customer service rep hung up on me. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

All I want to is either get it repaired or replaced. I may not purchase another Frigidaire product again if this is what happens when product needs repair. This diswasher cost $700 and I cannot afford another new one. All I am doing is sitting around looking at it.
