electrolux sold me defective refrigerator!
I purchased a 275L Luxury SF Refrigerator from Arvee Sales Agencies, New Delhi in Jan 2004 which stopped cooling promptly after its warranty period of one year in Jun 05. I paid for its servicing and have been paying Rs 1230 every year during summers since the timer, despite being "Made in USA", has a warranty of three months and lasts exactly a year.
I sincerely feel that this is precisely the reason why Electrolux is losing the Indian market to the Korean products, low reliability, poor value for money and sub standard technology.
I sincerely recommend all not to even see their products leave alone buy them. They suck!
defective washer
Frigidaire front load washer one & a half old tub mount carroded so bad it broke in two places checked with lows for parts was told the part came as an assembly it would cost212.00 plus s&h all together would be 302.00 this ridiculous the part was inferior to start with if water ate it up i hope you read this before you buy model# ltf53odso from now on its only whirlpool. My name is Ravi Bhanot and this mail is my frustration towards Electrolux. I bought Electrolux 1.5 ton split AC on 6th April 2007, thinking that it has a good brand value and it would be long lasting. I bought it to give my father as a gift on his retirement.
I bough this from Amritsar dealer’s name is Bholi Brothers, however I am very sorry to say that whatever impression I have for Electrolux all go in vain. Those people gave us faulty unit and also were not ready to replace that. It has been really frustrating. Those people are spoiling Electrolux brand name.

I have had a similar experience with Hitachi Quadricool 1 ton window ac. Please bear in mind that Electrolux is a good brand still as I have seen it in a friend's office. He uses it 10 hrs+. I am still thinking of buying an electrolux 1 ton split for home.
Many dealers dont care a damn once your payment is made. Most ACs come damaged due to poor logistics. My experience with Hitachi is the same. The call center at Hitachi is pathetic. I wished they change my new AC with other piece, but they would not. Atlast I have to bear with the damaged piece which I got from my dealer at Malad, Mumbai. It somehow works now, but nothing great to the 5000 Rs. Premium price I paid for buying a Quadricool AC. Finally the korean brands seem to be better choice than AMTREX HITACHI in todays market.

pathetic customer service by electrolux
I purchased an electrolux er40dfonps ozone dual health guard refrigerator in november 2006. the piece was damaged, so I then received a replacement on 4th december 2006.
On 10th january 2007, the freezer stopped working at its maximum capacity. I waited for a day thinking it would rectify on its own on 11th. there was no change. on calling the mumbai service centre nos., I was given 3 new nos., none of which worked. on calling the first no. again and being extremely rude, I finally got the right no. on contacting them, I was very indifferently informed that a technician would visit my place in a couple of days!
Electrolux is supposed to be a global mnc and if this is their idea of customer service, it is pathetic!
First the dishwasher, it had never cleaned the dishes thoroughly, even though they practically get washed before they go in!
I'm done with dishwashers in general unless someone knows of a brand that actually works!
Please stay away from Frigidaire products they customer service are bad my freezer has been broken down for 1 month and half and 5 techs have came out to fix it and they can't fix it and Frigidaire knows its not fixable but they still want to send another tech to fix it, they are a joke just like there products stay far from there products.

Completely agree to the above comments. I am totally disappointed with the service provided by Electrolux. It has been 4 days since i raised a complaint and nobody has responded to it. When I called the service center they kept giving me false promises and when I tried to escalate they tried to put me down. The service number given in the website (of Bangalore) does not respond either.

I bought a electrolux 205 refrigerator from great easterntrading co, garia on 19.09.11. delivery made to my home on 20.09.11 at 9pm. install the refrigerator on 21st sept after 12 hours I have found it not working. complained has been launched on 22nd sept. after verification by the service it found that condenser pipe is defective. however now the electrolux need 10 to 12 days time to replace the machine. this not acceptable by me.

We bought our stacking Frigidaire (top load) washer/dryer about seven years ago. We had an old Frigidaire pair that we gave away when we bought this troublemaker. The old washer filtered the water so the lint did not get into the pump and stop it up. This new unit has no such feature and occasionally "surprises" us with about 20 gallons of water on the floor. No more General Motors made crap for me. Next time, I'm going with a foreign-made model.
Note that GM sold the Frigidaire division over twenty years ago. The old GM built machines were bulletproof (I have some coin operated ones in an apartment that were bought in the 60s.). I don't know who makes the new ones.

Just has the control box on the refrigerator (model FR523W3AW5) replaced. From speaking to the repairman this is a very common problem. The repair man said they have has this problem since the model came off the assembly line. The cost was $114.90 plus $75 service charge. I would appreciate if Frigidaire would split the cost with me. The manufacturing date was 4/02 and I was told by Frigidaire that this is out of warranty and they will not help me.

Waiting on a goodwill rebate/refund for a 17 month old unit that failed. Frigidaire offered a 40% rebate on the purchase of a new Frigidaire model. Sent in all necessary paperwork after my new purchase, supposed to have in 7-15 days been 26 and still waiting. I call their call center and get lip service with a call back promised-never happens.
Thermostat and possibly compressor stopped working 2 days after purchase/installation from Home Depot Approx. $1000 of meats etc. inside. Delivered 8/24/23 and was operational at last observation on 8/25. Went away for the weekend to find on 8/28 no temp reading on LED outside. Interior light is on, but freezer out
The control panel is unresponsive. You can feel the botton detent but no response. You have to press it over and over for a desired result. And who in there right mind let that control panel be approved with the razor sharp lip between it and the handle. I have repeatedly lost skin from my knuckles opening this POS.
The inside wall of the freezer has two long cracks on the left side. The ice maker is locked, and the tray will not come out. My kitchen floor has water damage from the icemaker/water dispenser leaking large amounts of water. I purchased this product in 2015 from Lowes. I regret purchasing this refrigerator. This model should be recalled at once.
I bought a Frigidaire 27.8 French Door Refrigerator from Lowes on 2- 13, 2023. They delivered one on 2- 16, 2-21 and 2-28 all three were sent back because of manufacture flaw. The 4th one on 3-7. we learn the track in the freezer is off. I explain in detail but they only allow so many letters. I can't explain the tec has mess the track up bad.
