Purchased on [protected] ,model #fftr1821tb5 serial # ba92629577. Purchased at lowes of ft. Payne,al. When we purchased was offered extended warranty ,was told would start after original warranty ran out giving us 3 years. Well last night i walked into kitchen with 2 inches of water in floor. Husband cut water off to icemaker,no tears or holes in line. Ice bucket was filled with water.Called customer support was told to contact lowes,called llowes was told our warranty had run out. How does an extended warranty run out a year early. We were told it would be for 3 years because we were a litte wary of buying one. We are not able to purchase major appliances since we are on s.S. So thinking a major brand would not cheat us . How wrong we were! not only are we disappointed with this but also with the way we were treated by lowes,its like well we snagged you on buying a useless warranty now bug off.I guess thats how its done nowadays with big box stores,as for us i will no longer support either frigidaire or lowes.And i will let my assessment of both companies be known. Dishwasher
Dishwasher encountered an error where the door would not close while still under warranty.
I called on 8/29/2022 to request resolution, and they promised a technician would come to make the repair on 8/31/2022.
The servicing company called back, and indicated 9/13 is the quickest they could come out.
The technician arrived as promised on 9/13, and manually fixed the door latch, indicating that this is a common problem with these dishwashers.
The company that did the repair has been great. They are called Ace Appliance Repair, and they are professional and easy to deal with.
The latch is now not working again, and the fix the technician showed me is no longer working.
I called Frigidaire again, and they said the soonest someone can come out is 9/27. That will mean I will have been without a working dishwasher for almost a month.
I paid a lot of money for this dishwasher, and it is not acceptable to have it not working for almost a month, assuming the technician is able to fix the problem on 9/27.
Frigidaire refused to offer any other solutions.
Desired outcome: I would like to have my dishwasher replaced.
Stove
I purchased a Frigidaire stove model # FGGH3047VFB Serial # VF21620256 IN April 2022 from Home Depot. When the stove was installed in May the regulator was defective. I called Frigidaire and they sent a technician to look at it. He said he would order one and it would take around ten days. After not hearing from him after two weeks I called and text him several times. He never returned my calls of text. I contacted Frigidaire and they sent me the regulator to install instead of waiting till a tech could come. I am highly qualified to replace the regulator. Now the stove does not get hot. I called Frigidaire and they sent a different tech. The tech came and looked at it and left. I never heard from the tech again. I call Frigidaire again. They send the tech again. He said the regulator is bad. I told him that it was a new one. He said oh it's not the regulator and leaves. I hear nothing again. I call Frigidaire again and teil them I need a new stove. No more techs they are doing nothing. They tell me it does not meet their criteria for a new stove. I have waited months and taken too much time off from work to wait for techs come repair it One Manager told me to cook on the stovetop. Nice rude answer. Another manger told me that Home Depot has my money when I told her you have my money and I have a broken stove. I contacted Home Depot to resolve this issue several times only to be disconnected after a half hour on the phone. Frigidaire managers have promise to call me back but that does not happen. I have not raised or been rude to anyone during my calls to them. We cannot be without a stove any longer. My family does not deserve to be treated like this just because they are a big cooperation where profits are put ahead of them backing their product.

Frigidaire Professional Series Appliance Suite
To whom it may concern. We've been dealing with poor design and execution of Dishwasher, Refrigerator since June 2020.
Refrigerator: lower ice maker dumps ice everywhere and bale fails to stop ice properly, refrigerator freezes anything at the back, shelves, crisper, all of it. Crisper drawer fell apart after the first year. Fatigue of improperly designed and manufactured part, finger print proof finish is a joke. I clean it several times a day simply because the water dispenser splashes water everywhere.
Dishwasher is improperly designed. If you stop it at the beginning of a cycle to add a glass or fork it short circuits, fills the drain cavity and will not drain and produces a code I30. Our technician informed us of the errant design.
Microwave under powered to say the least.
Stove finish is very pour and burns and discolors. Rear burners (seldom used) struggle to light.
One note about the refrigerator packaging. This is a very heavy appliance and a couple of mickey mouse styrofoam blocks doesn't cut it!
We were buying Frigidaire to outfit several flip houses we have done I pray the customers don't sue us. Bad performance on your part.
Desired outcome: Replace them. I see at least the refrigerator has been redesigned. Significantly.

My refridgerator hasnt been working properly for 5 monthes and I just got it in January.
I bought a Frigidaire top freezer January 21 2022. It worked great until May then it started making loud noises and would freeze the freezer and make the bottom hot. The repair man came out and spent 15 minutes here and took the back cover off the freezer. He said there was ice back there and he just let it thaw out and in June it just started doing it again. Then 2 came they were here longer he said my freezer door was left open and he fixed it but my freezer door was never opened. Now I have another repair man coming out my 3rd time filing a claim and they always come a week or two after my refrigerator is broken causing my food to go bad. I paid 1500 dollars for fridgidaire at Kimble Lowe's Tn. I liked it up until ive had so many problems with it now. Like now im setting here with no refrigerator that ive only had for 8 months. That's only worked half the time, My loved one is sick and i have to put his medicine in a cooler.

My refrigerator from them lasted 8 months as well! Been waiting two weeks for a repairman and they don’t show up. Their CSA now says a month to get someone out. They are trying to run the warranty out I guess. Food lost, 4th of July party cancelled and no one one at Electrolux gives a damn! Lie after lie! Lowe’s and Fridgidaire need sued over selling faulty products ruining peoples lives!

I purchased a Fridigaire Dehumidifer on 4/21/21 (Model FFAD5033W10 / Serial # KN04163952). Living in Virginia, I use it in the summer in the basement - so from mid-May to mid-September. Last month, I started getting the "EC" error code and the dehumidifier stopped working. I'd unplug it and plug it back in. It would work for 20-30 minutes, and then the error code "EC" would pop up and the unit would stop. I called Frididaire's Warranty Service & Repair number [protected]) on 8/29/22. The rep said she'd send me by email detailed instructions on cleaning the unit internally, and if that didn't work, I could call back to have an authorized repair service center come to my house to fix it. I received the email that day, and followed the cleaning instructions to the best of my ability. The unit still wouldn't work. I called the Warranty Service & Repair number today (9/7/22) and was told by "Sabina" that there was nothing she could do for me. The one-year warranty had expired. I've had great experiences with Frigidaire in the past (refrigerators) and so am surprised and disappointed that the company isn't standing behind the dehumidifier. It's less than 5 months past the warranty and the ~$300 I paid for it is lost. The rep refused to have it serviced, refused to offer me a (token) credit to replace it, just told me I should have bought an extended warranty. Truly unexpected from Frigidaire and disappointing customer service and product quality.
Desired outcome: Replace the broken unit or issue a credit so that I can purchase a new dehumidifer.
Refrigerator
My 11 month old refrigerator stopped working. I purchased it from Home Depot. They wont help me because I didn't buy the extended warranty. They put me in touch with Frigidaire. They sent a repair guy 10 days after it stopped working, but the parts had to be ordered. It has now been 8 weeks of me calling them every other day to get a new refrigerator. I have told them repeatedly that I need to keep formula and medication cold. They finally put in a (review) for replacement because the part is on back order until October. They say the review alone will take 7-9 days to see if I qualify.
Desired outcome: I want a new refrigerator.
Electric oven model FEF387WJCA
Frigidaire electric smooth top oven began burning the insulation that wraps around the oven compartment. I was using the oven at 350°, then switched the broiler on high. At first I thought it was steam coming from the vent, quickly realized it was smoke. I unplugged the oven but I couldn't lift the top to see what was burning, had to remove 4 screws. The insulation was smoldering and glowing like red hot coals. I put that out with a fire extinguisher and pulled the oven out of the house and then doused the whole thing with my garden hose and called the fire dept. After they cleared the house I looked at the oven and there are 9 factory holes right above the broiler element (one can be seen from the top in the center of the first photo). Why are those holes even there? I've never had an oven catch on fire before in my life. Luckily there was no property damage and the oven came with the house so I'm really not at a loss, but I'm still a little shaken by this experience. I will never buy a Frigidaire product for the rest of my life, that's for sure.

7/11/22 Refrigerator was delivered damaged (scratched) & refused
7/15/22 A new one delivered installed/setup
7/24 -26/22 I went out of town. when i returned on the 26th I discovered the frig was not cold and freezer not freezing and all the food in it was spoiled.
7/27/22 called warranty company a repair w/o was scheduled for 7/29/22.
Repairman came, he discovered a wire had come disconnected from the condenser (official report on record). 10 days for a decision.
8/1/22 I called warranty # (Electrolux)to ask a question and was told there was no record of any w/o to call Lowe's.
I called Lowe's spoke with Mindy she said "work order was completed and closed" to call Frigidaire it's their problem"
I called Electrolux back and spoke w/Melissa explained again the situation. she looked it up and at this point all she could do was issued another w/o for 8/5/22.
8/2/22 I called original repairman to see if he knew what was going on.
He said he turned in the report and video of the problem. I need to wait 10 days for a decision but that the unit would be replaced, and he cancelled the w/o or 8/5/22
8/5/22 I received a text that a repairman was on his way to my home. I called spoke w/Cess and again explained the situation. She looked it up and saw original w/o and said it takes 10 days for a decision. Call back in 10 working days as of 8/1/22
8/12/22 Called spoke w/James. Decision was made and replacement of unit was approved & letter there waiting to be sent. I then asked him: so if I had not called the letter would not have been sent? He said "Right, that's why we tell customer to call back". He e-mailed the replacement approval letter to take to Lowe's and get a new Refrigerator. I went to Lowe's the same day. I had to purchase a new one and they would issue a credit, a pickup order was issued for 8/13/22 but they did not know when new one would be delivered. I would find out after the pickup. 8/13/22 the old one was picked up and a new one delivered.
Your policy of not keeping the customer updated with status of repair orders and having to call back, along with the waiting period. 10 days! is bad customer service. I was without a working refrigerator for 18 days having to live out of an ice chest finally borrowing a mini frig for the last week.
I am an unsatisfied customer and will not recommend Frigidaire products or warranties.
Refrigerator
purchased fridge in June 2022. After install the doors did not fit right, the water dispenser in the door did not operate, and the ice maker in the freezer part of the fridge did not work. A week or so later a Frigidaire repair man came to the house. He was able to get the water dispenser to work but needed to order door parts and a new ice maker. In the middle of August the temperature controller stopped working and our food started to freeze in the refrigerator. I adjusted the temp control up to 40 deg and the unit is now at 30 deg. And we still do not have the door parts or the ice make from more than a month ago.
I talked to the store people about a return and they said Frigidaire people had to authorize a return. They will not do that. They require a repair person verify the unit can not be repaired before they will do anything. The authorized repair people can squeeze me in in 2 weeks. So two weeks more of frozen food on a new unit. It used to be appliances, while not working as long as they used to, at least worked when new.
Desired outcome: I would like to be able to return the Refrigerator. I see nothing but trouble and for an almost $3000 unit I think I have the right to expect more.
Countertop Ice Machine EFIC123-SS
I put in a claim and opened a warranty file to which they told me to send my ice machine to them. Which I did at MY cost! When it go to them, nobody was available to receive it so it was shipped back to me at MY cost again. NOBODY helps in this company. Their customer service or support will not let you speak to anyone above them to figure out what is going on. They won't give you an email to a manager to forward your issues seeking resolution since customer service and support are useless. I am extremely ill and to pay $180 for this ice machine that doesn't make ice and then to send it to them at the cost of $90 coming out of the pocket of a person that is not working because of illness is outrageous. My husband purchased this for me as a gift and I chose Frigidaire because I trusted the brand. Their team is incredibly dismissive, they don't care. Nobody will help you, they continually give you the run around and tell you to call back another day or when you call their [protected] #, your lucky if anyone answers, usually it says there is nobody available to serve you and hangs up. Save yourself the time and choose a different brand. I will NEVER purchase anything from FRIGIDAIRE or it's other brands again. So disgusted with this company!
Desired outcome: A new ice machine sent to me on YOUR cost and reimbursement for the costs that I am out for shipping it to you and it being shipped back to me because your staff wasn't there to receive it yet it was delivered during regular hours.

Bought refrigerator 6/21. In April of 2022 the ice maker quit working. Still under warranty so called repair place. Took a month to get a person out to look at it. They determined it was the board and needed replace. Waited over a month for the part to come and weeks to get it installed. Ice maker worked for maybe 3 weeks and quit again. This time it was under extended warranty. Called Frigidaire and they sent someone out within a couple days. The repairman said he thinks it is the heater which cannot be replaced because it is foamed in. He said he will have to replace the board again because they won't give me a new fridge unless I have had 3 service calls. He said he would let me know what he will do later that day. No call from him. I wait for 10 days and call Frigidaire and she says the repairman did not make any notes so she will put in a request to see what was going on. She said to call back in 2 days. This is terrible customer service. To pay thousands of dollars for a lemon that they will not replace because it has not had 3 repairs. I asked for headquarters number to talk to someone and she said she did not have that.
Desired outcome: A response and a new refrigerator.
Frigidaire Professional Appliances
We purchased all new Frigidaire Professional Appliances in 2016 and we have had nothing but continuous problems with all of them after the first year.
Refrigerator - Freezer ice maker rarely works properly and there is always a frozen leak that causes ice to stick together and makes a mess. The door ice and water dispenser is practically unusable as there is rarely any ice and very low water pressure. (It is not the filter or water line as they have all been checked/replaced)
Range - Oven Ignitor gave out after 2 years. The touch buttons to set the clock, etc don't work well. Words around the dials are wearing off. The Convection oven option has never worked from the very first time we tried it. Just recently we received an error code F-50 for the oven and the entire house filled with the smell of gas. Had to disconnect/reconnect the power to get it to finally work properly.
Microwave - The wiring harness that goes to the panel on the door had to have all wires repaired because they broke at the hinge area and weren't routed in a safe manner. The stainless steel panel next to the door became separated and had to be glued back into place.
Dishwasher - Have had to replace both the top and bottom rotating sprayers. Had to replace the entire control panel because the buttons stopped working due to water leakage (it is recently starting to happen again). The dishes will not dry anymore. The have to be hand dried or left in the racks with the door open for many hours to air dry.
We will never purchase Frigidaire appliances again!
Desired outcome: Everything repaired and/or replaced to fully functional working order free of charge.
Faulty Fridge, with no remediation even after 3 weeks
Highly Dissatisfied with the services. I have just got immensely harassed purchasing your product. Bought since July 27th and today is August 23, I have not been able to use the fridge as its not working. It was for our rental unit which we could not put on rent as the fridge was not working and we lost a month rent. who is going to compensate that? A repair guy was sent when we had complained about it and he agreed there is a problem with the Fridge, but never turned back. We called up the Customer care and got to know the part thats required to repair it is not available. We again call up for resolution and get an email that a return authorization will be sent to the store we bought it from. we reply to that email with the store address the same day, August 18. And till date the store has not got any email. i again called up your customer care and after 30 mins hold could finally speak to someone to know that the return authorization was sent to another store. why? Check your CANADA.BO mail box, when we had given the complete details about the store why did it go to another store email id. Pathetic! Why are we penalized? We need to call you customer care, we need to call your repair guys, we need to follow up with store to see if they got the authorization. All this because we bought your fridge?And on the top of it, the customer care agent that I talked to today, August 23rd, 10.30 should be fired if you want to retain customer satisfaction. She was least interested to hear to my issues and went on mute while I was talking and came back after 5 mins with uninterested 'Yesss Mammm". Let me know who are going to pay for my financial losses on not able to rent my property

Purchased this product January 2020, January 2022 ice maker quit pulled out the bin augur was frozen over. called tech replaced Stepper Valve? now 3 months ago chirping beeping noise and my freezer is not working at all and still no ice. This is my 2nd Gallery In 2016 I bought whole kitchen suite of gallery. That refrigerator went out after 1.5 yrs. this is not a good model for Frigidaire. The repair man came out today says will get warranty replacement for the Stepper valve. But not confident this will solve the problem, he was saying shouldn't go out maybe pressure in line?
Desired outcome: I would like Frigidaire to replace the unit with a new one. There is no reason for these to fail. I don't believe they are doing any research on why the products are failing consumers. I see similar issues on many forums

I purchased the refrigerator on 7/28/2021.On 7/8/2022 we came home from vacation to find that the motor isn't running and it's starting to get warm. Monday we call and get an appointment for Thursday with Whiteman Appliance. They come with no tools just a small screwdriver and pushed up a hole and said that the defroster timer needed reset but no diagnostic as to why but the motor did come on. It worked for a week we then went away for a few days and came home the freezer was frozen and the refrigerator was 55 degrees . We call Monday and get an appointment for Friday. Wednesday Whiteman Appliances calls and said they canceled the appointment as the fixed the problem because it worked for a week and they wont come to fix it without a special ticket. I get the ticket but have to wait another week. The next week they call and cancel again as they are all sick. At this point I had enough and called a local repairman who came the next day with tools. Found that the defroster switch Whiteman reset was defective so all that did was let the refrigerator come on till it froze up. Not to mention the lost food and inconvenience of living out of a cooler for a month I feel I should be able to submit the bill once the part comes in and it's completely fixed. I would also suggest you reconsider your relationship with Whiteman Appliance as they are destroying your reputation. Thank you

During July-August 2022 we noticed water leaking in our cellar by sink/dishwasher drain. We found drain not plugged found what appeared to be a leak in discharge hose (coupling was cracked). New hose arrived still leaking.
Upon further investigation there was a hole in the plastic tub. The element was warped down on 2 corners causing the plastic to burn through.
Desired outcome: They need to investigate this could have burned our home down

I purchased this from Lowes on 11/17/2019. The "element on" flashes after the left element is turned on then turned off. Is this a fire hazard. Why should I pay a tech $500-800 to repair a defective range that was sold this way. This has been happening for about 6 months. I contacted Frigidaire and their only solution was to have me pay for the repair. The Frigidaire did not provide any recall or safety information even though I asked this information twice. She did not what was causing the light to flash. The owner manual does not offer any trouble shooting on the
Element on indicator light flashing.

Frigidaire refrigerator water filter
I ordered a water filter online on July 20, 2022. It arrived a few days later as an Electrolux filter. After running several gallons of water, the water had a chemical taste, not pure, it is a defective filter. I contacted a customer service person and explained my problem. After holding on for a very long time, I spoke to someone and they shipped me another Electrolux filter. After filtering several gallons of water again, the second filter is also defected. Now before I can get my money refunded to me I have to return both filters to you. Fine, but why do I have to pay the shiping fees. I cannot afford to buy another filter until I get a refund from the purchase of your defective filters. I order through you because I pay less then if I purchase a filter from Lowes or Home Depot. Now I have to buy bottled water which is another expense. Not fair, I have enough life problems to have to deal with on an ongoing basic and having to deal with this situation that is not my fault. Thank you.

My top shelf inside refrigerator and two bin draws are are broken. The plastic is so fragile. Not meant to with stand normal use. I called for replacement parts, i was quoted well over a five hundred dollars. I have never bought anything but fridgidare appliances. I will never again after this phone call. My family friends are all in shock. How is it a brand new fridge is almost as much?

57 days n counting purchased new dishwasher n hasn't worked from day one 8 visits from 2 different repair cos. Repair service replaced function control switches 3 times n still doesn't work the same part ordered again as ordered by FRIDGEADAIRE MASTER TECHNICIAN. I'm sure I'll be greeted with another disappointment. Many hours spent waiting on phone complaining n wanting answers let alone hours spent waiting for repair service to arrive. Its totally discussing for a product that had a good reputation at one time makes you wonder where's quality control, n someone shielded by the call takers to make a decision on replacement, they talk of buy back or replacement but cant talk of how that occurs. I'm not going to let them wear me out. Repair can keep returning until its fixed or the MASTER TECHNICIAN SAYS IT UNREPAIRABLE After all hes got to keep his status going
