Dollar Tree rick dixon district manager (72) region 3

My name isRediet T. One of Assistant manager at 206 store. Since our store doesn't have an SM and he's our district manager I decided to do this. Honestly I've had enough. There must be someone who cares about Dtree associates and the store policy! Since I transferred to 206 I've been working in hell, where nobody seems to care about associate safety, respect... the whole 206 knows how hard I work . But it seems to be the wrong thing to do in this store. Rick always humiliated and picked on me every time he comes to the store. In front of my associates. He threatened to fire me several time infront of shawn(merch manager)and jenefer (she's the DIstrict manager in training) for simply asking a question about my full time position being in place or not yet?! My fiancé is a white Fairfax sheriff and I never had someone treated me like nothing like Rick. Valarie(the other assistant manager) who seems to be he's date never opened a box( never throw fright) since I transferred to this store. It's been 4 month now. And he walked away from me 2 times when I asked him why he only push me but do nothing about her! I don't care about he's personal relationship with her but it's not fair for the cashiers and stockers who complains every time. I've no answer to give them! Please do something it's not fair to me and others who works hard for only a minimum wage. Thank you for taking your time and for doing something about it. Sincerely Rediet Tesfaw 6920 Braddock Road Annandale va22003

Dollar Tree employee behavior

I came in the door of store #7192 (Riverside/Dayton Ohio) and an employee named Janet was talking very loud to the cashier (across half the store away) about a person leaving boxes where they shouldn't be. She was very abusive and more or less threatened the person that left the boxes. I stopped and listened to her rant and rave and she noticed I was watching her. I walked to the cards and she made a point to try to talk to me. She called me gorgeous and other "sweet" names. She knew she was heard and her behavior was was out of line. I am a manger at a retail business and I understand that other employees or delivery people do things that upset you but there is a place for that conversation to take place and it's not on the sales floor yelling across half the store width.

Dollar Tree dollartree.com customer service

I purchased a plastic gift in early May, 2018 as a gift to be mailed to a friend. As of today the gift card has not arrived. I was never given any USPS tracking number or delivery date. I called Dollar Tree's toll free customer service 3 times as of today, and the agents were courteous, however when I asked about the status of my gift card, and why it was taking so long to be delivered, they
I was told by each rep that they couldn't supply me with this info. This is the first and my last time I will ever order a gift card from them. I asked for a refund and they told me since it shipped they would not be able to do so. In the meantime, I have been charged, and who knows if my friend will ever receive this gift card. I order gift cards from many websites, and I have never had such poor service. I advise all of you who are planning to buy one online, to read the reviews on this company before doing so. Lesson learned.

I see on here that you most often get angry complaining customers, well I would like to give the store in Marshall, MN a compliment! Today 6/08/18 I was shopping at our Dollar Tree and went to check out. An elderly woman was 2 people in front of me and was short a small amount of change. She was distressed and said to please cancel the order to the clerk (Her name was Lorri). This lovely lady (Lorri) reached into her own pocket and paid the change so the elderly lady could still make her purchase. The elderly customer said she would bring in the change and pay Lorri back as soon as she could get back. Lorri told her to not worry about it and have a wonderful day! People like your employee Lorri renew my faith in humanity! I have no doubt that since Lorri is working in retail she is not independently wealthy, yet she didn't hesitate to help this woman out. I was so pleasantly surprised by this kind action on her part. I did tell her exactly that, however, I wanted the company to know that you have some really great cashiers working for you. One of which works in the Marshall, Minnesota Dollar Tree named Lorri on Friday 6/08/18 around 1:30 pm. She deserves a pat on the back! Thank-you Lorri! Sincerely, Joyce from Marshall (a very appreciative customer!)

Dollar Tree herndon, va. everything is a disaster

The worst location I have ever seen. I go to sterling and annadale in VA. HERNDON is the worst. Always out of stock. Rude cashiers . I mean RUDE . All of them boys and girls.
Evertime i deal with different cashier and all are rude. No customer service at all. No hi and thank you. They throw everything in customers face . Very bad attitude . Everytime i tell my self may be they are tired from work or had a bad day, although it is not supposed to happen. They Throw the bags .talk to you like why did you come and make me work.
They Give you one bag and don't you dare to ask for more bags. Put all the 30 items you have purchased in one bag. No store organization at all.
If you want to ask (the manager ) about something you are looking for. The answer is like go search yourself. I went there multiple times over couple of years. Bad, rude, out of stock and unprofessional all the time. Zero stars.
They don't accept returs of unopened items just because they don't want to. So, if i bought something from herndon location and i want to return it . I can't and i have to go to any other location . All other locations have variety of items and friendly cashiers. If not friendly, at least they respect the customers.

Dollar Tree customer service/store management

I was in store 4045 off Barry Road in Kansas City. I was in a aisle and seen this woman with a basket in hand.We was walking toward one another she kept walking like I needed to move out the way for her, Then I'm walking to go check out and same woman rudely walks in front of me, I say excuse me she just keeps walking doesn't even acknowledge me. So I go to check out and I ask cashier if the woman worked there she had on no type of store uniform, name Tag or nothing. He says yes, she is the manager. I was like oh wow well she is very rude. She then comes up as I'm paying walks behind me and says excuse me as she is walking past, how unprofessional. Then I over hear her talking about me as I'm waiting for my family to finish shopping. So I ask her if she was speaking about me? She replied I was. So I asked what she said. She said she could have me put on no trespassing list for being aggressive at no time was I aggressive and I told her ok that is fine I don't have to shop here and cameras will show I wasn't aggressive at all. She was very unprofessional, rude and had an attitude. I don't appreciate being threatened or disrespected for something I didnt do... I really hope something is done and this situation is taking care of. Hope she goes through more customer service training or something no one should be treated the way I was and fact I am a person of color.I choose to spend my money there. Employees forget that we as customers pay the company and that is where their money comes from.

Your poor grammar shows that you're obviously a dollar tree customer. And those food stamps you spend there is not your money, [censored]. It's the employees who actually WORK there, as well as other Americans who work, who have to take care of low lives like yourself because you refuse to get a job and rather just live off the government. You're the type of trash they have to deal with on a daily basis so I can easily see why they don't have the best attitudes toward their customers. Try doing their job for a week, or maybe any job at all instead of popping out 5 kids and living off government assistance. You're a disgusting pig.

Dollar Tree service/manager

I was in your store around 8 PM and was standing in line waiting to be taken care of. After the lady in front of me was taken care of the Male employee who was the cashier looked at me and walked away and went outside. He didn't say anything to me . So I grabbed my stuff and waited at the other register. After I was done I asked a female employee if there was a manager around. She said he went outside. So apparently my cashier was the manager. So this made me even more mad that the manager acted this way. So when I was walking out there he was smoking a cigarette. Wow! This is not what I call good customer service. I am very disappointed of this location. I have been in customer service for 30 yrs and would never walk away from a guest.
This person needs a lot more training if he is to remain as a manager. I hope this never happens again because it will ruin your business.
Thank you.

Dollar Tree checkout line

I'm a daily shopper at the store on the corner of Farmers Blvd and Guy R Brewer, and it's ridiculous that there's only one register open during the busy hours of operations 4-6pm. There's 3 employees including the manager and only one register for a line of 25-30 people. Why? I literally put my 5 things down and walked out the store. The least they can do is have an express line. I myself put in an application for employment and saw at least 15 other applicants, why do they say they are hiring and don't hire people? The managers need to put people on the register when the store is busy and on the sales floor when the store is dead. That's common sense. And this is an everyday occurrence, how much experience do these managers have to not know that?

Dollar Tree deplorable conditions

I went to the Dollar Tree Store #4967 located in Milwaukee, Wis. to find the place filthy, and in total disarray. At one point during my visit glass fell off the shelf and an employee shouts out "You break it you bought it!" Another patron stated that this is typical for this store. After 10 minutes no one bothered to clean the broken glass. Someone needs to look into this as it sets a bad example for the other stores. I will never return to this location. To say the least it is unsafe and a real crap hole.

Dollar Tree manager problem

I was threatened and told by the manager to stop a what she calls trend. Explanation:
I was short change and I offered to use my debt card for the remainder change, so the cashier said don't worry about it which they say a lot and they actually give me the change and cover the tax which I found very nice. But the manager informed me that that I was a problem in shorting change and creating in her words "a trend". I never thought it was a problem and was not aware of any complaints from any of the employees before because no one had approached me and said anything to me. I had been coming here for 11 years and love this store. I am a very nice costumer who wants nothing but the best for the store but when the lady manager at 10:33 am 6/7/2018 approached me and started making assumptions about me and me doing things that I never did also threatened me as a paying costumer that she will kick me out because she was not reasoning and acting professional this is not a good business practice. She also said I was harassing employees in which I was not doing. I am only trying to be as friendly and polite as possible. Her and some employees that admitted to not liking me before and those employees had been the ones to tell her untrue things that I never did. I advise on a profession point of me this unprofessional practice needs to end and they really need to act professional either that or retraining or replace this manager.

thank you

Dollar Tree condition of store

The Dollar Tree located at 755 N. Courtenay Pkwy., Merritt Island, FL is without air conditioning and has been without air conditioning since Hurricane Irma in September 2017. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. It is almost 90 degrees in June in Florida and to be in a store without air conditioning is unbearable for customers and employees. It also can't be safe working conditions for the employees. After being in the store for 10 minutes I had already started to perspire and sweat. I purchased a candy bar for my daughter that was partially melted because of the heat inside of the store. I can't imagine actually having to work in there. The employees were soaked in sweat and had several bottles of water at their registers just trying to maintain in the heat. There weren't even any fans or anything. This is just sad and ridiculous and a shame. How is it 9 months later and the air conditioning is still not working? I will NOT be visiting this store or spending any more money here. I'm sure there is more than enough money being made by the Dollar Tree Corporation to get the air conditioning fixed.

Dollar Tree status of store

June 6, 2018

Location: Dollar Tree, Hudson, MA. - What a shock it was to visit this location and see how much it has gone down hill. Floors were filthy, shelves looked they hadn't been stocked in a long time, items on the floor, etc. What a shame! I have always looked forward to shopping at Dollar Tree, but today's visit changed my opinion.

I approached the young lady at the register and asked if the store was going out of business. She went off on how terrible the manager is and how he doesn't feel it's his responsibility to stock shelves. She kept complaining on and on about the working conditions and how everyone was asking if they're going out of business.

I would like to suggest that someone from the corporate office contact Under Cover Boss and start investigating just what's going on inside these stores. I read a lot of the complaints on this board and I see that I'm not the only one who has expressed their thoughts on this.

I can't tell you how many of my friends have commented on how they "love" shopping at Dollar Tree. I'm fearful that those opinions will change once they see the current state of the store. Such a shame.

Here's to change,
Susan

Dollar Tree harassment

I went into your store # 02351, 2601 oakdale rd modesto 95355. I was an assistant manager there for 4 years. The management there set me up to be fired supposedly "falsifying documents". I had complained multiple times to Regina the store manager about being harrassed many times by Todd & she told me to avoid him or "ask why hes feeling that way today". I was shown one piece of paper I made a mistake on & ended up being fired. Anyway I've been in there several times since then (each time lucky enough to go when Todd was not working) & have purchased whatever I go in for. I have a clean background & don't steal. Todd Wallace the assistant manager there, the one who I had complained about harassing me when employed there, was the one closing the store. My daughter is almost 3 years old & wanted to wander around. After about 15 minutes Todd comes up to me telling at me to leave that I don't need to make him follow me around. I came in with money to purchase a barbie & a couple snacks with food stamps. Instead I was harrassed & screamed at in front of my 3 year old who was freaked out & almost in tears. I had a couple things in my hands I was going to buy for her, but since he was on my heels yelling at me making a scene in front of other customers being as embarrassing as possible, I picked up my daughter & walked out. I still find it classy corporate allows their employees to act in such a way to this day. He use to do that to me when I was on the clock to, in front of customers, & Regina saw absolutely no problem with it. I shouldn't be surprised at the behavior after everything especially since almost everyone Regina hires either is a meth addict or recovering meth addict.

I admit that I have made some mistakes myself, one day Todd was treating me so badly that I lied and said that he was tried to force himself on me and kissed me, and put his hand under my shirt to get him into trouble, but nothing was done about it because other employees sided with him. They were questioned and said nothing happened. The are saying that I am harassing Todd. Todd is nothing but a crack addict and alcoholic. He beats his wife if he is married. Everyone hates him. Even my daughter is scared of him because he is so ugly. But because I made one mistake and lied about Todd, they made false documents to have me fired.

Dollar Tree public restroom

I visited two locations today. The first one was 3569 Bridge Rd #201, Suffolk, VA 23435 and it was a very pleasant experience. I had been on the road and needed to use their restroom and I was able to do so with no issues. Later in the evening, I visited the Store Store #4555 922 N Main Street Suite A Suffolk VA, [protected] US to purchase some items for my nephews birthday. Both times, I spent well over $30 dollars. As so many other do, I frequent the Dollar Tree stores often and I don't appreciate bad customer service. During my visit, my son needed to use the restroom and we were not aware that they no longer had public restrooms. One employee told my son he didn't need a key and to go on in the bathroom. He of course couldn't get in to the bathroom. A cashier by the name of Dee Dee was very unprofessional when I asked if my son could use the restroom. She said the restrooms was for employees only. I asked when did that change and her response was today. Then She abruptly stated he can go to Big Lots next door. I said we are not spending our money in Big Lots. we had. been in the store for over twenty minutes when my son had to use the bathroom. So, I asked the manager Ashlyn why they no longer had public restroom and she stated it's store policy. I said that I just visited another Dollar tree and they had a public restroom. Her reply that all Dollar Trees have different policies. I asked why couldn't they make an acceptation this time and she said that she couldn't go against policy. Then she proceeded to say that the customer's had damage their toilets and they have to constantly call in a Plummer. My question is how do you know it's the public and not your employees? They then decided to speak among themselves about me and my request to have my son use their restroom which in itself is unprofessional. I as a customer really don't want to hear all of the issues surrounding Dollar tree not wanting to keep putting out money to fix their bathrooms. They sure don't mind taking our dollars. They can attempt to make decisions on a case by case basis to help out a customer. Their attitudes were down right disgraceful for employees representing Dollar Tree. I will be posting my experience on social media. I know that one customer will not make or break the pockets of a big company such as Dollar Tree and I realize they only care about their bottom line!

I and my granddaughter which is 7and I am 58

I don't have good bladder control

I asked to use the bathroom me & my granddaughter

She said no we don't have a bathroom I said ok what do you use.she said we don't have a public.i bathroom. I said I really have to go .

She said you can talk to the manager I said ok.

She left a long line to go get the manager .

She would not come out of her office to talk to me so I went to the door.while she sat on her chair doing nothing & another employee sitting

Not helping the cashier at all.

I begged the manager to let me go to the bathroom

She told g me to go nextdoor

It's a law you have to let me go I can't make it next store

Please I pleaded

She said no. So on my way next door

I did pee in my pants

I was going to shop

Not just walk and use the bathroom

They were rude and not nice at all

I love shopping Dollar tree but if this is how we are

Treated I guess I'll show some where else

Dollar Tree safety and security

While I am estatic about all of the wonderful things that Dollar Tree has to offer, I am very concern with why this company does not take the time to protect its hardworking employees and merchadise. I visited the location inside of Westside Shopping Center in Baltimore, MD today. The customer service was A1, and I was able to find the merchandise that I needed by the very professional and kind manager I could definitely tell she knew her products and invetory -I believe she said her name was Keisha. It's just a sad thing to see areas like this that require security/cameras and constantly watching don't have security at all times. The weekend is not enough-someone should be there all the time. Customers get out of hand often and security needs to be the one that removes them not the cashiers, workers or managers. Please make this happen for a valuable customer who spends nearly $200-$300 on your merchadise monthly for my business.

Dollar Tree customer service

This, type of customer service, as well as customer needs is distasteful for your business and the customers time and money. There, is always, always loads of merchandise waiting to be placed on the shelves, Everytime I visit the store. Customers, opening sitting boxes, before they are shelved, because it's what they drove to shop for in the first place. I have witnessed many customers, turn around and leave because of the lines and customer service.
