CVS review: Prescription

My wife went to pick up our prescriptions at your store #1636 in mechanicsburg pa. And she was charged $158.16... When she left the drive thru... She called me... She thought it was my gabapentin that they charged her for... So I called my ins.co. And found out that there wasn't a charge sent thru on my account... I then call the store and was told it was her gabapentin that was charged... I asked why they didn't tell her why it was being charged since we pay no copays on gabapentin... She said that my wife should have asked why there was such a high price... The doctor had just ordered 2 new prescriptions for me and she thought it was high because of those new prescriptions... Then we found out that the high pay was for her gabapentin... Earlier in the day... She received a text message saying that her gabapentin was not available to be picked up until may 1... My question is, why would they fill it automatically, when it wasn't due... And why did they give it to her if she hadn't requested it?... So... We wound up paying $141 for a prescription that has no copay, simply because your store filled it before it was due and gave it to us... We live on social security and $141 is crucial to us... And now we are in a fix simply because your store made a mistake... I have always used the particular store... And have always been satisfied with them... But this puts a new light on the subject...
