The team was outstanding. They were with us through every step and made us feel like humans all the way to the end. Shane was smart and confident. We felt comfortable working with him from day one. He checked on us, even when he didn't need to, just to be sure we didn't have any questions or had any doubts. I highly recommend Shane and his team. It was just superb service!

Mario was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the loan process. We were first-time buyers and had lots of questions. He was always available to answer our questions and never made us feel bad or silly for asking. He made sure that we closed on time, even though the final calculations came down to the wire. I would definitely recommend Mario to anyone looking to buy a home.

We contacted them because we wanted them to guide us in our native language (Russian). Everything started well but quickly went into slow response times and delays, and then we were handed over to American worker. The very reason why we chose this company is because they spoke Russian. Then we were given American worker who dont speak Russian ? I do not want to deal with them anymore.

This business is criminally negligent. They lost my financial documents repeatedly after months of submitting a resubmitting they still hadn't made any progress on my loan. I called corporate and left a message. I never heard back from them but they obviously called my broker because he started calling immediately. He didn't accomplish anything but he did call. Their incompetence cost me thousands.

We were very happy with the level of communication and explanation of the process from beginning to close. The fact that both my wife and I are self employed added some expected complications with underwriting, but the team took it on and worked with us to get everything together and kept us in the loop the whole way through. This is the 5th real estate closing I have been apart of and it was by far the most professional and easiest one of all.

NFM is incredibly good at communicating and taking care of whatever you need to get to closing. My wife and I were purchasing our fifth home, and NFM was recommended to us by our realtor who has worked with them for many years. Dare I say, NFM was the best experience we have had! David and his team were extremely knowledgeable and professional, and we always knew exactly what was going on from start to finish. I would 100% use NFM on my next home!

It's hard to summarize just how incredible this team was to work with. As first-time homebuyers we were overwhelmed especially in a time which seemed that it would be almost impossible to find a house, but Greg and his team were beyond thorough, friendly, compassionate, and patient with us as we navigated every phase of the mortgage process. They were kind but they didn't sugar coat anything either, and they gave us very clear expectations which helped us immensely.

Mary L's team was outstanding in helping me through the entire loan process from Mary investing an hour on the phone with me getting started to communicating with me through the process and answering my questions. Kathy was also great and very helpful in walking me through the process and helping me with identifying various requirements along the way. Stephanie was very good and communicating through the process and processing documents. They are an excellent team that got us the loan we needed to buy our new home in a very cooperative and professional manner.

As part of refinancing my loan through NFM, I have to pay monthly into an escrow account that is set up to pay my flood insurance. NFM is supposed to pay the flood policy from my escrow.. In the past, I've paid my entire flood insurance policy in one lump when it is due on 7/6 every year. Today, 7/12, I got a call from my insurance agent telling me my flood policy has lapsed for non payment. I spent more than 30 minutes in NFM's call system until I got a woman in insurance who said the flood insurance check was cut on 7/2. So, I called my flood insurance agent and told him. The flood insurance agent said NFM should know it takes about 10 days for an account to be credited. Why was NFM so late paying this bill? I was better at handling it than they are clearly. It's the dry season now, so rain isn't a danger. But tsunamis don't know seasons. I'm not happy with NFM. Also, they don't have a website from which you can pay your bills. You can set up an automatic withdrawal from your bank account, but no way I'm giving them ongoing access to my bank account.

My experience was NFM Lending was the worst experience. The mortgage broker completely ruined my purchase. He was supposed to get a single unit condo approval through FHA before doing anything else. He did not do this and 2 days before closing was surprised that it needed done. He was told this on day one. Four other families were impacted by this complete neglect of job responsibilities. The loan manager requested paperwork multiple times after it had been sent to her and just said "oh, it must be buried in my email". When I would inquire about where things were I was given answers such as "everything is going great". That clearly was not the truth as the purchase did not happen. Now I am having to fight for them to refund my inspection cost. They are stating this was optional and that would be fine except had they done what was needed I would not have gotten the inspection because I would have known that I was not purchasing the condo. They even tried to blame my realtor and the seller's realtor at one point saying "they knew it wasn't able to be approved". This was not true because it only wasted everyone's time and cost us both money. I only gave one star because no stars was not an option. Stay as far away from this company as possible!

Avoid NFM lending at all costs. After refinancing, they did not pay the full amount of my homeowners insurance from escrow. I called and was assured it would be overnighted and taken care of. Three weeks later I received a cancellation notice from my insurance company. I was able to pay my insurance company and reinstate my insurance. NFM did eventually pay the difference and I was refunded what I paid out of pocket. However, it was VERY difficult to get anyone to return calls or emails from NFM, no one would give me the name or number of a regional manager (I still haven't gotten one yet), no one would apologize or even begin to take responsibility on behalf of the company. The people I talked with would only focus on the return of the money I had to pay, which is important, but I expressed repeatedly my desire to speak to someone higher up about NFM's not paying when they first said they would and their constant attempts to pass the buck and blame the insurance company. Their reason for blaming the insurance company is that the invoice was difficult to understand. What mortgage company can not understand an insurance bill! I would be in favor of a bill that allowed consumers to change their mortgage servicer, I would change away from NFM immediately.

Absolutely horrible experience dealing with Tabitha B, Alex T, and Stephen R who all told me they would be my contact but I was continuously passed around when they decided they didn't want to deal with my account or be held responsible for not following through on what they told me they would do. In the end they made up an excuse to deny my loan based on "What if" scenarios that would prohibit anyone from ever obtaining a loan. They failed to ask the basic questions and made assumptions or completely ignored my questions and complaints during the process. It was much easier to pass me around and dodge my inquiries, they could never give me straight answers to my questions and preferred to pass the blame off on anything and anyone but themselves. The lack of communication was also atrocious and completely unacceptable. Overall I would say these people acted very unprofessional and with a total disregard for the client they were supposed to be serving. I think I knew more about the process than some of them did and it was obvious they did not like being questioned or held accountable for their actions, or lack thereof.
I was constantly told that I was low risk and that there should be no issues with getting my loan approved and yet somehow it was constantly being sent back for things they should have dealt with from the very beginning. In the end they decided that denying me and closing my account was much easier than doing what they said they would. The whole process went on for several months and they kept asking for extensions without giving a reason other than unforseen complications beyond their control which was nothing more than another excuse for them not doing their jobs.
