CVS lost prescription and back ordered medication

Had doctor's office fax prescription to CVS at 11:00 am. Got there at 5 pm and they had lost the fax. Called doctor again and they refaxed. I told them I needed that filled, that I would be back and that I was going next door shopping. I return 20 minutes later and they hadn't even taken the fax off the machine and she tells me it will be ready in a 1/2 hour.
Special trip at $3.43 a gallon for 5 miles each way when the original fax went to them at 11 am. Then I asked if they could fill another script - she tells me it has been backordered for a *&^%%$ month. All CVS 's do not have this medication because of backorder.
DO NOT GO TO CVS.

I've been obtaining my presecriptions from this pharmacy for over a year. Everytime I do, the prices of my prescriptions is lower than the normal because of discounts and coupons that my doctor has given me. When the price is not what I usally pay, I say something to the cashier and they, in turn, look in their computer system and realize that I do have a...

CVS very very poor service

Pharmacist/Keith W Stevens, Phd.Would not give his full name, I found it on the perscription. When asked why perscription was not ready said I kicked it back because I didint have an empty bottle to mix it. When asked how to mix it simply said follow the instructions that weren't there, when asked where do I find and anti-bacterial soap said I dont know I dont usually work here, asked the assistance for help who also had no clues she sent me to three different Isles instead of coming out to show me. I have been coming to this store for over thirteen years, and here of lately it has become a serious nuisance. I will not return there ever again, and will definately give to all I know a very bad reccommendation to any who think of going there. When I went to the front counter for a seperate purchase got the same response, sorry you weren't happy here, but thank you. Thank God for them I bit my tongue and walked out.

CVS customer service

Today, 3/15/2011, I walked into CVS #2119 in a rush, and approached the short haired elderly clerk asking nicely if she could give me 3 dollar bills for 3 dollars worth of quarters. I was shocked to have the clerk deny this request, saying how she couldnt open the register. As a previous CVS employee I KNOW this is false. I used to assist people in similar situations all the time because it was the right thing to do. However, this situation was incredibly insulting the way she refused to assist me. She forced me to run out of my way to stop and shop ALL FOR 3 MEASELY DOLLARS! Even after offering to wait for the cash drawer to be open she still denyed the simple request. I believed that CVS had good customer service, apparently I was wrong. Even though this request is not an obligation of the company, it definately made an impact on me. It was not a friendly interaction and I wont be visting again for a long time. Maybe I'm wrong but in my opinion customer service should be present at all times.

Maybe they changed their policies? Maybe SHE didn't have that particular ability because she was new or had other specific duties? Anyways, they are not a bank, and as Amazejbj said, short change artists have made companies cut back on making change for customers.

Many cashiers in recent years have been told not to open their drawers to make change for customers. The are many short change con artists out there that start with the same simple request you made. She is probably following a new company policy.

CVS bad customer service

I went into the store today at 8am to get a medicine for my sick son (ofcourse with a prescription). I handed over the request and was told it would take 15 min. I was sitting in front of the pharmacy area and I observed that it exactly took 1 min for them to work on validating my insurance and 1 min to get the medicine. and finally got my medicine exactly after 28 min after my request. You may wonder what took so long. the 2 pharmacists along with another store manager were chatting about another co-worker - about her inability to do work and show up to work etc. They did not have a decency to notice that I was sitting in front of them with a sick child waiting to get the medicines. I did not utter a word as I wanted to just get home to give medicines to my son. But this kind of service is VERY VERY BAD. SORRY CVS. YOU might exist in this world for ever, but you will loose me as your customer and will loose others who are reading this.

The CVS in Chester Springs has lost prescriptions, mixed up prescriptions, interrupted customers they were waiting on to gossip with other pharmacists. They have competition within 3 miles of their location, so I quit going there. Their pharmacy employees are the WORST.

The average CVS pharmacy is lucky to have a backlog of new prescriptions as small as 3 to 5 pages upon opening due to e-prescriptions and faxes. Odds are if they were discussing the ineptitude of another employee at 8:01 AM, it's because they operate on bare bones schedules thanks to CVS being a horribly run corporation and the employee in question probably called out leaving the entire crew screwed for half the morning. (Way to mind your own business by the way.)

I'm sure you believe wholeheartedly that you are the only customer there they should be concerned with and that your child is the only sick child in town that day, however, I'm afraid I have some bad news for you...

Though they said 15 minutes at first, the pharmacist might have been busy filling other prescriptions that came in before you. They are also allowed to talk to each other while working. You sound very impatient counting the minutes it took them to do each process. 28 minutes is not long at all for a walk in. Hope you son is feeling better.

CVS false advertisement

They have tags in the store stating that you get $5 off when you spend $15 on comestics and body wash and I purchase more than $15 when I approved the manager to ask to help and fix the issue because id dint get the $5 off. He said there was nothig that he can do about it, and if I want I can return my purchases. False advertisement and bad customer service.

CVS rude pharmacy tech

I went to the CVS Pharmacyin Texas City to purchase some BD Ultra Fine Pen Needles for my Prescribed Byetta pen and was told by the pharmacy Tech that a prescription is required to purchase them. Having been a type II diabetic taking Byette injections for quite some time, I have purchased them at many pharmacies and I told the pharmacy tech that a prescrition is not required for their purchase. She became very argumentaqtive and rude. I requested that she ask the pharmacist and she refused to do so. She kept insisting that the law required a prescription. I finally spoke with the pharmacist and he stated no prescription was required. I told him about the rude pharmacy tech and he just made excuses for her. I was under the impression that a person had to go to school to become a pharmacy tech. If so she must not have graduated. The pharmacist excused her rudeness by stated it has been a rough day because they have several employees out. At my place of employment, where I manage a fairly large group that deals with the public, the employees provide good customer service regardless of the type of day they are having. They are also trained and expected to know their jobs.

My Drs office has been trying to call the cvs in FL for my meds since the 18th it is now the 26th and they keep hanging up on them. When I call and very politely try to explain I was told very rudely they answer all there calls that was it another night no meds my Drs office called back to say they will try again. I do understand how busy they are and have seen how rude customers can be. But people need to remember customer service and that people's lives sometimes depend on these meds I always try to be calm, compassionate, as I work with the public as well. Can't we all just try and work with eachother were all overtired and my meds are for sleep I don't get.

You are very right! I am a nurse and if someone questions me because there are different ways in my job things can be done you better believe I'm going to ask someone else or look it up and find out for sure. If someone asks me a question and I'm not sure of the answer I always say I'm not exactly sure or I don't know but I WILL FIND OUT RIGHT NOW. I am in my late 30's but some of the younger people I say mid to late 20s I have noticed lack manners/people skills and think they are always right. I blame it on technology because they didn't have to actually do things face to face with other people. They communicate with others through texts or emails. You do not mess with a persons medications or medical supplies that's like messing with a loaded gun in my opinion. Not defending the pharm tech because she should have asked the pharmacist but to my knowledge time insurances require a prescription Before they will pay for those supplies but anyone can purchase them. Yes she should know her job and should have found out if she didn't. And you should NEVER be rude and disrespectful because your have a bad day because its nod it weren't for those customers you wouldn't have a job period!

If you are running out of medication, then you need to make sure your script amount matches your doctors orders. If the scrip states one per day and your doctor said take two per day, then don't blame us. We can only give you the number of pills the script states. Your doctor needs to specify more pills.

CVS rude pharmacist

I am a Long time customer at the CVS in collegeville PA (store 2688). I have been getting my prescriptions filled here for a long time. The other day I went in and I needed to speak to a pharmacist. I asks a worker to get the pharmacist because I had a guess. The worker was very nice. When she told the pharmacist, the pharmacist yells "for God's sake, " as if she were annoyed with me. This upset me very much. I believe her name is Martha. This is no way to act, especially if you are the person in charge.
Also I witnessed her slapping a workers hands which made me even more mad. Yes, the girl was using her phone but there is no reason to put your hands on an employee. You could tell the young girl was a little startled and upset about it.
Overall I've never had a problem with this pharmacy until she came along. I think I will start having my prescriptions filled at the Trappe or Limerick store now.

CVS dread going to get my rx

I used to go to Rite-aid but rencently switched to CVS only because i moved and CVS is alot closer to my new home. I wish i never switched! My 4 yr old son has alot of health problems (he has state issued health insurance this has nver been a problem anywhere else) lucky that none of them are life threating. I say this because everytime i go there is always a problem getting his RX filled. He takes 4 rx everyday i understand once or twice having problems but not every time. He has to have a new rx every month for 2 of his meds cause they are a controlled substance. He also takes a med that i use the auto refill for (you know the over the phone deal?) well everytime i get there it's not ready! Isn't that the purpose of taking the few extra mins of doing that so you don't have to take the extra 30 min to 1 hour to get your rx? No that's not the only problem i have i wish it was! Then i wouldn't be complaining. they also say that his medicade will not allow for his refill on his 2 rx they always say one of two things etheir it's not time (to early) or medicade won't approve it for some unknown reason? So after a few months of this repeadantly i contacted medicade to find out why every month i could not get his ($550.00) med filled. They proceeded to tell me they didn't know why i was unable to get his meds filled everything was fine on there end. Well i contacted the CVS to tell them what medicade had told me then they told me i needed a pa (piror athorization form). He usally needs one every year. Well i got that for them & low & behold guess what still no rx! Their excuse this time was it was to early to get his med. So I contacted medicade agian to find out why they were saying it was to early to pick up & once agian they didn't know what i was talking about. They told me what i already knew that his meds could have picked up a week ago DUH! I explained to them where & what was going on she informed me that i was not the only person to have this problem with CVS. I contacted CVS agian & informed them with the news that i could have gotten it filled a week ago. The lady told me i had to wiat on the head man to get there tommorrow between 9am & 4pm. Well i called about 2pm the very next day & he filled no questions asked. Finally almost 2 weeks later. The only thing they done that was even remotely helpful was they would give me a few pills from the rx to get him through it wasn't enough to do it but it was enough to keep him from being so sick. We would't had to worry about it if they had done their job & filled his meds. I tried to transfer back to Rite Aid during this problem CVS wouldn't let me because if you have an open script you can't! WTF? If your not happy no matter what you should be able to. Another thing i have to get a pa form from my doc every month (priror athorization form) when i was at Rite-Aid i only needed one pa a year. So can someone tell me why at one pharmacy i need one a year & at another i need 12 a year!? Im so glad to be back with Rite Aid it's not even funny. Also Wal greens is great they don't give you the run around. I wish you could sue someone for inconviencing your time but u can't i'm just glad that he wasn't hurt by not having his rx like he needed it he was just uncomfotable.

CVS wrong dose of meds

My dog Murphy takes a controlled substance (meds) for her seizures. Her dose is 32.4 mg pills and of this she takes one and a half pills twice daily. I dropped off NEW script as hers expired and when I picked up meds I realized I had 64.8 mg and directions said to give half pill twice a day. I went back and asked to see script and he hands me an OLD script of when she only took ONE 32.4 mg pill twice a day. Turns out the Pharmactist thought he was doing me a favor and giving me an UPPER dose pill and just cutting it in half. HAD I not read the mg I would have OVER DOSED my dog giving her 1 and a half pills of 64.8 mg twice a day! Had I gone by his directions and taken that HIGER dose pill and only giving her half twice a day she would have been UNDER dosed and therefore at a HIGH risk of seizures! She takes 2 diff meds that work together in their specific dosages to control her SEVERE seizure disorder. I got NO apology and was even told "it's no big deal, we can fix it"...I asked why the new script was not looked at. I was told that b/c her old script had NOT aged over a yr that it just popped up in computer and they went by OLD script. Very scary people. I was then told all pharmacies have this practice. I said really sir, they ask and demand a new script only to NOT look at it, not even compare it? I said this is a controlled substance and I would hope in the future you pay attn to your scripts sir, not just what pops up on your computer screen, it could save the life of an elderly person, child and or in my case my dog. I talked to the manager who made me wait when she was called b/c the Pharmacist was too busy giving his side of the story. Absolutely no excuse for this, abosolutely no one willing to take the responsibility and was even told by both the Pharmacist and manager "the person who filled it isn't even here", as if that was supposed to somehow ease the fact they totally and completely failed to do their jobs! I took my script to Walgreens where they said they never take it for granted that a script is the same, the dose is the same and always fill it according to new script! OUTRAGIOUS!

Its not a pet med, my dog takes an actual seizure med that you or I would take if we had seizures. If I gave my dog half a pill of the higher dose twice a day its under dosing her! She take ONE 32.4 mg pill PLUS a half of 32.4 mg a day! These are lil pill and do not cut up easily. They should have just read the script and filled it with 32.4 mg pills...one and half to be given twice a day.

CVS scamming prescriptions

We canceled our auto-renewal on prescription drugs to protect against credit card fraud. Two months after canceling this service with cvs-caremark, we were called three times attempting to sell us one of the drugs we have not bought in the past 60-90 days that was automatically delivered via mail and under their "auto renew" program. They would have just ignored our cancelation and sent the prescription, but lucky us, we had fraud on our credit card and had the card number changed. We had to tell them 3 times to quit calling us. Their cya is to send out a letter stating we canceled our prescription. We never seem to have these problems with independent pharmacies. Lesson learned.

CVS rude, arrogant, nasty employees

I will never use CVS pharmacy located in Sherman Oaks again! The employees are rude, unprofessional and believe that they have the power to decide whether or not a prescription is to be filled. Even with the prescription from the prescribing doctor and the approval from the insurance company, one arrogant young pharmacist decided that she was not going to fill a prescription. How dare any pharmacist ever intrude upon the doctor patient relationship and think that they can decide to not give the customer his medication. While trying to explain to the pharmacists the details that she should be aware of regarding the medication, instead, she ignores me, interrupts me, she laughs, speaks in her native language to another pharmacist and completely disregards me. This episde took place once I asked if the medication were ready after waiting an hour and a half, and she non-chalantly waved her hand at me and said "another 10 minutes". It was 20 minutes after that interaction that she told me she was not going to fill my prescriptions. The eliticist superior attitude of this particular pharmacist is revolting and disgusting, If CVS is interested in keeping their custormers, they better take a good long hard look at their pharmacy staff and get rid of many of them ASAP. We are the customers, they should do their job professionally and respectfully. The consistent inability to treat any of their customers as equal human beings should be a huge red flag to the future busines of CVS.

You are apparently ignorant. I feel that if you would like to speak about a situation you should educate yourself before you speak because you sound like an absolute idiot. Pharmacist have EVERY RIGHT to not fill a medication! They are Doctors of Pharmacy that get their doctoral degree in the pharmacology, treatments, and medicine. If you think all a pharmacist does is count pills and make 130K a year, then you must be an idiot. If a pharmacist for one second feels the medication is unsafe to dispense to the patient they are OBLIGATED to not fill the medication.
Please educate yourself before you speak, thanks.

You people that have commented after are absolutely out of your mind, not to mention rude. You have no idea whether this guy is a ' drug seeker. ' or 'junkie' yet you jump on your high horse so quickly to put him down for being refused THEIR medication. I agree, this should be at the doctors discretion, but I also believe if for whatever reason a pharmacist deems the prescription false. Or wrongly. Prescribed, that under those circumstances they should be able to 'red flag' the prescription, and perhaps call the prescriber to get a detailed look at their personal situation. Under no circumstances, other than false prescriptions do I beliee a pharmacist should have the authority within 20 seconds of neetig you decide wether or not you should be allowed your prescription. The end. That is plainly profiling and discrimination. Get off your high horses and go get a real career other than countig pills if you think you should have the autority over doctor patient relationships.

The pharmacist and techs have every right to refuse to fill your prescription for any reason. If for any reason the prescription turns out to be fake or otherwise illegal, then the blame goes completely on the pharmacy staff and fines or harsher legal action can ensue. So if anything at all on your prescription or in the way you behave raises any red flags, it's liable to happen.

You're probably just another drug seeking junkie who's had their bloated sense of entitlement shattered by being told "no" for the first time since you were in diapers.

"How dare any pharmacist ever intrude upon the doctor patient relationship and think that they can decide to not give the customer his medication."

In every pharmacy it states pharmacist have the right to not fill your RX for religious, moral, or ethic reason. However the pharmacist must also aid you in finding a pharmacy that will fill it. Pharmacist have EVERY right to intrude upon doctor patient relationship. If the pharmacist feels your doctor is wrongly prescribing your prescription and it could be lethal you would rather the pharmacist say what the hell lets fill it anyway? Please...

Pharmacist line of field is medicine, they make it their life. I've seen countless doctors prescribe the wrong dose or even lethal dose of a medication for a patient. If you prescription was a C2, they could have denied it based off they feel the doctor is writing to many controlled and right a report to the DEA.

Since you failed to give us any reason for the refusal to fill, I'm going to assume it's because it was a reasonable reason not to fill your medication.

CVS I smell a huge heep of dung

Caremark sucks, they violate any sense of ethics and legally I'm sure they border on the negative but who is going to help you in a republican set up society. These idiots have carte blanche to do anything they want including violating your rights. Just quit using them and if everyone would get a clue that making complaints on a meaningless board like this is fruitless and just to quit using the idiots they would eventually feel the impact. Unfortunately the government would just bail them out so just chill, get a new pharmacy and take your pills from the "new nice pharmacy man or woman" and live your life with happiness. Dwelling is just going to get you more upset and they win. Fight back...your weapon? Don't give a ###. It's not worth your health and sanity. Flowers for everyone and go get a medical marijuana card...that really helps...(exhale) :)

I was at CVS shopping picking up percriptions went to the counter to check out and the manager was checking me out. After I finished got my bags and turned around to walk, My foot went into a shopping basket of which there were three of them right in the line of walking out the door, not placed in the rack where they belonged...I slipped...tumbled several times ended up clear around the counter with the manager...with my foot clearly mangled inside this basket still. She asked me if I was alright, and took me to fill out a form and called someone. I went the ER where they placed a Knee immobilizer on me for two weeks with crutches and referred me to ORtho two weeks before xmas. Do you know Not one person called me to check on me after this until I finally called them to see what they were going to do about it? They acted very unconcerned and I still havent heard from a single soul. I have shopped at CVS my whole life but I will never go there again. They are very unconcered about your well being as a person. I had to contact an attorney and still have not heard anything. It was def negligence of the store to not place the baskets back in the rack where they belong. I COuldve been injured way worse. Terrible terrible service. They are just lucky I Didnt break a leg or arm. From now on I Will go to walgreens right around the corner.

CVS is a brand new player in Puerto Rico. Marketing is going well and it seems you will gain a lot of marketshare from Walgreens. One hour ago I visited a store (# 5219)that was opened last Monday and for security reason they said I was not able to used the bathroom. Yahaira mentioned that was a store policy. Later she authorized me to use it. Your company is violating a law from the Puerto Rico Health Department.

I'm sending this complaint and intent to take this issue to the insurance commissioner, channel 8, and the BBB if need be. I never had a problem with getting my rx filled and now that my husbands company decided to use this mail order plan I've had nothing but problems. My medication was denied at the pharmacy and I was told they have no information on why I would need to call caremark. The next day I was on the phone with caremark and spoke with a cs rep to get my mail order setup. I asked her how I would go about getting the meds I needed until the mail order went through. I also asked how the program works as far as my contract goes. There is an 8-10 day turn around time. I didn't have enough of meds to cover that time span. I was told by her to purchase the meds and submit a claim with the receipt. I was then transferred to the rep that sets up the account. Not knowing how this program works I called a few more times that day questioning how my scripts get to them and what information my doctors needed to fax over.

I purchased my script and paid $55.00 out of pocket. My claim was denied and only because I called to get a status update I was told my claim was denied. I didn't get a denial by mail or a phone called. It's amazing how when my credit cared didn't go through a rep was right on that and new how to get a hold of me asap. On 4/26/10 I spoke with Arturo P. who was unwilling to help in every way. I'm a medical biller and worked for many insurance companies so I no calls are logged and I no how the systems works. I was trying to go through the dates with him of all the phone calls I ever made to caremark and that was like pulling teeth. I've never called caremark other then to get an rx over ride then to setup this account. It was not that difficult to get this information. It's very disheartening to think how unwilling people are to help someone in need who was given the wrong information. I will do everything I can to get the word out about how bad the customer services is and how unwilling your cs reps and managers are on giving help to someone. Also I will make sure to advise as many companies, doctors, and patients that your cs reps are not trained correctly and when a problems accrues the reps and managers try to blame you for not knowing your contract. Seeing as I got no documentation as far as my plan goes you would think that's what you pay cs for.

I went to my local CVS Pharmacy in Bowdon, GA 30108 to get a prescription filled and noticed a few things that just wasn't right. First when I walked up to the counter the Pharmacist was being very harsh to the girls working in the pharmacy. They asked him about when he would have a prescription checked for a customer and he replied very snappy to the employee in front of the customer "if the customer is in such a rush tell her to take her business elsewhere!" I am sorry but I thought customers are always a priority?! Anyways the second and last thing was that when the man in front of me asked to speak to Pharmacist the Pharmacist replied "I have other things to do" and told the foreign looking employee to take care of it. I have a cousin that works in a Pharmacy that told me that techs aren't allowed to do counseling only the Pharmacist can because you have to have a license to counsel. So if this is true someone needs to inform this Pharmacist. The man was upset because the Pharmacist neglected help to him and asked him for his name which I believe was "Howard". Anyways this visit was my first and last visit to this pharmacy!

I was very excited to see your ad that showed Net Books for 98.00 before the holidays. My two children both requested computers or laptops for Christmas. My husband and I thought the Net books were a fairly priced and a good compromise for the children. We called CVS to make sure they were still in stock and unfortunately, most stores did not have anymore left. We have family in Indiana and found out that there were Net books still available in Highland, IN, close to them so we made the drive. When we received the Net books we wrapped them and placed them under the tree.

After Christmas we traveled so the kids had no time to really play with their Christmas toys. So approximately two weeks after Christmas we begin to hook up all of the devices they had received for Christmas and to our surprise the Net books did not work. So we contacted the IT helpdesk that was indicated on the boxes. It was close to the New Year so they did not get back to us for several days, after which only one Net book even came on, so we decided to exchange the Net books on our next trip to Indiana which was on January 21, 2017 at which time my husband was told he could return the Net books (to that store) for a refund if we had any further problems. After several attempts only one of the Net books would even come on so we decided that with all of the devices "not working" correctly and at this point a total of four, we decided to take them back for a full refund in Highland, Indiana. And because we live over an hour from Highland, IN we did not make it back to that store until yesterday 2.12.11 to get a refund on the Net books.

Yesterday my husband was told by the store clerk that he could only have a $200.00 store credit well he requested to speak with a manager. The manager was not available, so he was told to contact the manager on the next day. My husband contacted Ron today 2.13.11 to discuss this matter at which time my husband was told that the reason he did not get a refund was because the clerk said he wanted cash, which was not true, my husband offered her the card with which the merchandise was purchased. This clerk expressly lied to Ron. Ron went on to say that because he had exchanged the Net books on the 1.21.11 the 90 day refund period started over from 1.21.11 and not from the original purchase date, which made since to us and that we could go any CVS locally in our town Antioch, IL. or other for a full refund to the card that we used to purchase the Net books. Today 2.13.11 I went to CVS in Antioch, IL. and spoke with Andy and Lori, shift supervisors who told me that we were only eligible for a $200.00 store credit.

I then requested that they speak to Ron at the Highland, IN at CVS store # [protected]) at which time Andy contacted him. Andy told me to come back when the store manager is available tomorrow and gave me name and number to call in Antioch, IL. Joe [protected]. We have made a total of three trips from having the Net Books exchanged to trying to get refunded our money for Net books that never even worked and yet we still do not have a resolution to this problem. In addition, we never had working Net Books and we just want the money returned to our card at this point. We exchanged the items within the period indicated on the receipt, followed the rules and yet I feel we still are not being treated as customers, moreover, every time we speak with someone we get a different and many times conflicting stories almost like we are dealing with different organizations within one. It's quite scary!

The cvs store in Chatham on Shunpike Rd. and the cvs in Florham Park both gave me a hard time trying to use the $3.00 coupon for this past Jan. 16-18. I didn't print out the coupon because prior to this time I was able just to give them the scan #, since I don't have a printer. They always took the scan # with no problem, this time they would take it. I ask them just this last time could you take it, then I will know for the next time to print it. Alsolutly NO they said. Let me tell you I spent so much time in both stores over this, cause now I had to gather up all my stuff to leave, then when I got home, I realized I left my cvs money card at one of the store. I had to then drive the half hour to go back to the store. I am finished with CVS over this. I would always save up what I need and wait for the coupon to show up on my computer. Many times a friend would come and buy stuff too. Give the customer a little break, well, I;m finished.

CVS is always wanting people to transfer their prescriptions to them from other pharmacies, but it taks forever to get them to do anything. We went to the Haughton, La pharmacy on [protected] at Noon to get a prescription moved from Walgreens to CVS. When I call CVS today January 16th at 10 a.m. I was told it would be about another hour before they could call Walgreens to make the transfer and the prescription would be filled in about another hour.
This is not the first time it has taken 24 hours to get a transfer.
My son moved to within 1 mile of the Haughton store so he wanted to transfer his son's medication to that store from Wal-Mart in Minden. After 3 days of wainting he drove an additional 20 miles to Minden to get the medication because CVS STILL HAD NOT MADE THE TRANSFER.

I have seizures. When selecting my insurance policy I contacted my companys insurance company (Caremark) to the medication I take was covered. I was told it was.
When I went to pick up my prescription I was given generic which my doctor had told me that I was to only take brand name. The pharmacist informed me to contact my insurance to make the correction
I did and followed procedures as to what I had to do to ensure I was able to take brand name and be covered. I enformed my doctor who filled out and submitted the request and reasons for taking brand name medication.
It was reject for the reason that Caremark believed the generic was the same as brand name. I notifed Caremark that I had been taking the brand name medication which I knew too be good and put me on generic had the risk of failing which could put myself as well as others at risk since my job required driving. They informed me that the policy required me to take generic first and if that did not work then I could switch to the Brand name.
It did not work
I now have no job and no insurance.
If anyone knows anyone at Caremark and knows if they are looking for a test subject for their drug aproval list please let them know I am available and willing since I have no job thanks to them .

I have been bringing 2 prescriptions to the CVS, located at the Rt. 35 and Shrewsbury Av. intersection, for some time now. Collectively, these priscptions cost just over $200 a month. Most of the time neither priscription is in stock, meaning I must make a minimum of 2 trips; one to drop off the priscrption and another to pick up the medicine and I have been doing this every month since January of this year, since moving to the area. Remebering other pharmacies that have filled these prescriptions in the past, I asked if it were possible to telephone a week ahead of each dr's appointment so that they could have my medication in stock and I could avoid making 2 (sometimes 3). Essentially everyone I spoke with, including the phamacist and assistant manager, din't seem to think making 2 or 3 seperate trips was a waist of resources - the best reply I was given was a condescending "we'll see what we can do". I have utilzed the suggested arrangement with both Walmart and Walgreens in the past and both pharmacies seemed grateful for the business. In fact, Walmart's pharmacist volunteered the idea as well as asking what more she could do to help me. I have since moved away from the area, but there is a Rite Aid just up the street from me and they voluntered the same offer of calling ahead so the medication could be ordered and can avoid making any unecissary trips. I think I will change back to Rite Aid...

I was a cvs caremark customer up until a year ago. On 5-14 I noticed a withdraw on my acct for $160 from "caremark mail". I have not ordered anything from caremark in a year. This doesnt make sense. Reps are nice, but case is now turned over to billing" - for a week now (Conveniently has no phone #)! Meantime, I am $110 negative balance in my checking acct and I need to pay bills. Caremark has no record of a $160 charge on my acct, yet now they have my money! I need it back asap plus overdraft fees!

CVS discrimination & personal attack

The store manager mistreats most all the Spanish speaking costumers that walk into his store especially if they don't speak English. I don't know his last name but his first name is Chuck & what is most intriguing is he is back by the District manager his name is Tim. He follows them all over the store acting if they only go there to steal at times with no probable cause he has search there personal belongings. I am writing this here to you today not because I experience my self but because my wife is an employee at this store & has experience first hand discrimination towards her.Starting with the district manager Tim and going down to the store manager Chuck. They tell how great an employee she is but when she call sick they don't pay her for her time off even after they make her run around getting doctors note & other proves. Even human resource agree that for such a responsible employee like her self she should have not been giving such a hard time. When other employee don't even call in sick & they get paid for sick time including employees that have not even been employ for three months. That might not be discrimination but it is certainly a personal attack on her. Because she has been complaining on how she is being treated since she move here from their Miami stores.I am hoping that some one could come & investigate because I am having a hard time coping with her coming home crying all the time because of all their mistreatment towards her. And make no mistake about this Chuck does discriminate against all the none English speaking costumers that go into that store especially if they are Mexicans. She does not know that I am writing to right now but I could guaranty you that if come and speak to her she will not be afraid to tell you her self. If you do decide to send some one to speak to her, her name is Ivania Morales . Thank you so much for you time sincerely your Jorge Morales

I worked for CVS for over a year, and it was the worst experience of my life ! I believe every word you wrote. When CVS took over our store, after they purchased Longs Drugs, morale went down the toilet. No one was happy, they pressure you, cut your hours, push you to do more work faster, I was treated very, very rudely if I called in sick, they did not want us to, we had to be there, because they cut back the staff so much. Leaving that company was the best thing I did, it was the worst company to work for. I hope your wife can find another job, you are a good husband to care about her, believe me working for CVS is horrible. I will not shop there any more.

I just can not believe how a pharmacy like this that has been established for years could do buisness the way they are. I have been filling with cvs for about 5 years but i'm to my breaking point. I have had enough and I will never fill with them again I am taking my buisness elsewhere. I spend around 2, 000 a month with them so I would figure they would...

There have been several times with one prescription that requires my doctor's authorization that they have said they faxed it into the doctor. I never received a call from CVS Pharmacy letting me know that the doctor did not send the authorization back so I assumed he did not want me on the prescription. I requested this refill in December of 2010 so in...
