Store # cb0052, I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant. Server name was ray, we waited 30+ mins. We had to ask for more tea, another coke, I asked for manager.. I received excuses. "short handed, new ppl" which was it? Told she just put our order up "herself". Then I was not informed about okra. I asked for it to be removed.. I'm told, it only has 4 mins. I don't care. I asked for it to be removed.. Brought okra anyway.. Had it not been for other 5? I'd have walked out.
My family informed me. Not Rays first late service practice. Manager was only concerned about short handedness.
If this is where cracker barrels Serv has gone. I suggest you lower prices.. customers must lower expectations. Lower your prices. For now I can only hope isolated incident. I'd hate to think. Store CB00052 was standard cracker barrels service.

I am an employee at store #46 in Macon, Georgia. I started off loving my job and would even go in on my off days to pick up shifts. I was usually scheduled 30 to 35 hours a week and had no issues or complaints. But over the past few weeks management is now threating our jobs and cutting our hours if we don't sale 40 alcoholic beverages a week each. This week I am now scheduled only two days because I cant force a customer to buy something. Most customers are already not to happy that we are even selling alcohol as we are known as a family establishment and more times then not I am met with negative comments about our new alcoholic additions. They fired a girl last week because she refused to take anymore tables as she had been scheduled to get off two hours prior and they said servers dont have scheduled times off. I could loose everything because of this I cant afford my rent off two days a week. Every night the server who has no sales in alcohol is required to do some form of punishment like deep cleaning the coolers or something more exstensive just to punish them.
Desired outcome: My hours back. Apologies to all of are employees as this is affecting all of us. And management to be reprimanded.

Seriously. Sounds like the manager fabricated this drink sales requirements for his own financial gain.
A drink sales quota shouldn’t jeopardize your employment.
There are laws to protect you from these extracurricular in house games from management.
If your manager or GM doesn’t address this issue, I’d ask to see a copy of your job description and escalate the problem to corporate.
Just know that your CB position will be in your rear view mirror one day and this is a learning lesson on this company and how it treats its employees.
If you don’t receive an explanation on the adult alcohol sales game, consult a labor attorney n a consultation basis.
And remember, not feeding into these GAMES shows you have integrity and accountability to be the STAR you deserve to be in the working world!
Food poisoning
I was at Cracker Barrel on Tuesday March 1, 2022 for lunch around 2:30 at their 14765 N. Freeway HoustonTx 77090 location. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with white gravy, the gravy was very thick and had a strong bacon flavor, carrots and Mac and cheese. I didn’t eat but half of the serving bc I started to feel not good. So as we were leaving, it hit me. I felt light headed and cramping so I hurried to the restroom there in the restaurant bc all of a sudden I had diarrhea and was feeling nauseous. So I hurried home before I had to go over and over to the bathroom. After a while I had violent vomiting, several times. The rest of the night was awful. A sleepless restless night. By morning I was feeling weak and very dehydrated but a little better. I had to report this situation so the restaurant will be aware of what happened to me. Needless to say I will not be returning there any time soon.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response that the issue will be addressed to the cooks and servers. A refund of 29.37 would be good too.
cold food and overcooked almost burned

Me and a friend went to have lunch. I ordered the Thursday special Turkey and Dressing with the sweet potatoe casserole with a side of turnip greens and extra side of dumplins.
The turkey and gravy was warm not hot...the sweet potatoes casserole thin but warm...The dressing "cold", the turnip greens "cold", the dumplins "cold"...I ask for mix of corn bread and biscuits (cold and corn bread even mushy like it had been wet) My friend got fried chicken tenders...hard and dark brown like almost burned...maybe warmed them back up and over did it.His pintos, turnip greens, and dumplins "cold"...and both of us the dumplins were two or three big clumps of dough He also ordered grilled sour dough bread with his meal. When served it was served with my corn break muffin and biscuit sitting on top of it What a mess We both ate it because we were in a hurry to get back out and to a meeting and we were hungry but not good experience this time at Cracker Barrel
Desired outcome: Serve food hot to warm, separate bread servings in this case Cook food properly Don't mess up our Dumplins everyone loves.Bring back Steak and Biscuits! :)

My to-go order [protected]
I placed a to go order at 11:30 was to be ready at 12:17 i get there and it's not ready, also when they finally give me my order I get back to my office and everything is ice cold, and the strawberry shortcake ice cream is fully melted. All my food is cold and thank goodness I have a microwave, or I wouldn't be able to eat it. This is why I haven't ordered in a while from the Delk Rd location, but I thought I would give you guys' ones more try. Well, I'm not impressed what's so ever. I am 2 minutes away in the office park and it's so hard to get a to go order from you guys that's hot. I'm very unhappy with this order and spent almost $20 for cold food and melted ice cream
Desired outcome: I would like a refund or at least a free meal out of this. Last time this happen I was given a free desert that I never used.
Wait time
On 2-21-22, around 3 pm, we arrived at our local Cracker Barrel. Despite 4-6 empty tables, we told our wait would be 20 minutes. After about 25 min, we inquired how much longer the wait would be, we were taken back to our table. The waitress did come within a reasonable amount of time, we ordered and it was almost another 30 minutes before we got our food...

I visited the Sherman Tx store on Sunday 2/13/2022 my order number I guess is [protected], we came in and got seated immediately but then it was 20 minutes before our waitress came to get our drink order and then 20 minutes later our drinks came and she took our food order, during the meantime I went to the kitchen entrance and I assume it was a manager a large guy who stayed there the whole time we were there and I told him our glasses, coffee cups and silverware were dirty and gritty, he never came to our table to look at them or replace them. We are in the middle of a pandemic and these dishes were nasty. it was like 30 minutes and another waitress brought us our food and it must have been sitting in the kitchen forever because the eggs were ice cold and the biscuits were cold, gravy was so cold and thick you couldnt even spoon it onto a plate. I have sent 3 complaints in since Sunday and no one has called or emailed me back. I have never ever had this type of service at a Cracker barrel, and if I get sick from the dirty dishes I am going to be very upset. We only left the waitress $1 but we did give the waitress that brought our food out to us a $5. Tried to tell cashier about our service and all she could say was Im sorry. Well Im sorry but since no one has called or emailed me back Im gonna make a call to the Health Department.
Desired outcome: I want a phone call to apologize to me about the sorry experience and food we had there and I want to receive some type of reimbursement of some kind because that was $36 waisted.
The worst cracker barrel that I have ever been in.
Cracker Barrel, 1960 Mel Browning St., Bowling Green, KY 42104. We arrived just at 10:15 this morning. We were told there was a 15 minute wait. We were seated at 10:35 and we placed our order just as soon as the server came to the table. She brought our water and while we were waiting we had time to look around. We were in the center dining area and it was the most crammed together that I have ever seen a Cracker Barrel. I literally was closer to the person at the next table than I was to my husband across our table! We began to notice that the windows were filthy, the globes on the glass lanterns were filthy, the servers were dressed in every type of clothing imaginable instead of dress slacks and neat tops. Some even had on cardigan type shirts that literally drug on tables. And yes, we had plenty of time to see all of this because 30 minutes later we still had no food. I caught the attention of our server who told us that ours should be out in no more than 2 minutes. Fortyfive minutes AFTER OUR ORDER WAS TAKEN we still had no food! We asked for a manager and 5 minutes later were told that one couldn't be located but if we would wait just a few more minutes they would keep trying to locate one. Needless to say we DID NOT WAIT! WE WERE IN THIS CROWDED, NASTY, POORLY SERVED AND UNPROFESSIONALLY STAFFED RESTAURANT FOR 70 MINUTES AND LEFT WITHOUT EVER BEING SERVED FOOD!

the green beans I ordered, I got 1/2 of a cup instead of the full serving normally get. potatoes had no gravy The turkey was tough...
the second dinner the hamburger steak was burnt. and the biscuits were hard as a rock. I wasn't going to waste my gas to go back across town to get replacement meals at that hour of the day. I paid cash for my food. The total for the meals was 25.40

Bad management
Management at Cracker Barrel Orlando, Florida, close to the airport is by far, the worse people to work with. Jeanne Ford. Barbara Griffin... and Kiesha, from Retail, are 3 women who need to be fired. They are rude, condescending, selfish, unfair, uneducated. I worked there for 3 and a half months. I had to quit because it affected me physically and mentally.

Sunrise sampler breakfast
The restaurant was not full but it took a long time to be waited on. I finally put my order in a Sunrise Sampler for breakfast. I asked for my bacon to be crispy, my eggs to be scrambled in one piece not cut up and I wanted them well done. I came into the CB to pick up my order and pay and was not greeted nor acknowledge. I waited for 4 people to be checked out til I said something. Then as I see my food getting colder by the minute. A to go order phone call was placed. As I was waiting over 4-5 min at the to go area, the cashier then ignored my request to assist me. The next person was ready to be rang up apologize but still proceeded to check out. After 6-8 minutes of waiting I was very upset .

Burger platter
I visited Cracker Barrel Monday Jan 31st at 7:45p.m. in Milford, CT. This particular rest's hours they close at 9:00p.m. The young lady asked for the Order and I specified my Burger to be cooked Med well with country side of Greens. The burger was completly burned, the bun it came on was stale, my Cheesy Tots were also burned. I was so dissaointed the Manager said he was going to Comp my meal. This is the 2nd issue I've had at this location. Your cooks tried to do everything fast because of the "hour" and not the "customer." Absolute horrible Customer Service at this establishment. Unfortunately this is the only Cracker Barrel in our area so I'm stuck. This complaint needs to be shared with management and I deserve a complimentary meal for this injustice that your company provided me on that particular evening. The only thing that was good was the soda (Dr. Pepper). For shame Cracker Barrel
