Fuddruckers / Luby's Fuddruckers Restaurants Hospital emergency bill

Filed Feb. 2024 on Fuddruckers complaint database:

:On Monday 2/19/24, at approx.. 805p, I entered the Fuddruckers's in Spartanburg, SC. After ordering I sat down, realized my drink cup was left at the counter so I went to get it. As I was walking I felt a sharp stab, looked down and my arm was bleeding heavily. I went to the register and asked for band aids. She was extremely helpful and another male employee also came with towels. They both asked what had happened and I explained there was a nail sticking out of the wall, arm level and it had cut me. I also told them it is common to bleed a lot, I just needed to get it stopped. After I sat I decided if there were any future issues I realized if anything came of the cut I probably should report it. I asked to speak to a manager, the assistant manager came from the grill and asked what had happened. I told her about the nail and how I had cut myself. She stated yes the nail was there from a Christmas wreath and had not been removed. I suggested it should be and I wanted to file a report. Her comment was " it has been there since after Christmas and no one else has had a problem". I repeated I need to file a report. She turned her back on me and walked back to the grill. I repeated I need a report filed and she did not turn or respond. I asked for her name and she said Daffney. I asked for the name and number of the manager and said to call the number for the store tomorrow. There was a male worker next to us during this discussion and I asked if he heard, he hesitated but said yes. I asked for his name and it is Dayton. I drove 35 miles home, took my bloody shirt off to take a shower, found a large not at my elbow above the cut and decided I needed to get it checked in case it was a clot. I drove back to Spartanburg to the emergency room at 11:30p. After seeing the doctor she stated it was not a clot but I had done the right thing at my age to get it checked. After they cleaned and wrapped and checked my tenuis shot, I was released at 12:30p. I would like the report file and any bills paid. I have pictures of nail, cut and knot on my phone and will text. Fuddruckers / Luby's Fuddruckers Restaurants Customer service/visit to fudrucker's

On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, my mom and I visited the Fudrucker's located at 11445 Fountain Lake Dr, Stafford, TX 77477 at 6:46 pm. Upon entering, I approached the register and my mother sat down in a booth. I gave the cashier, whom was a male, our order, even though my receipt says Jasmin; I was told that we were not allowed to order a kids meal. My mother is 87 years old and eats very little. As for myself, I carry a medical card from the hospital and doctor that is to be presented at a restaurant to allow me to order a kids meal due to my bariatric surgery. I was told no exceptions can be made and the cashier went and got the shift manager. She said she could not make any exceptions and told me she would get in trouble for it because there were cameras watching her. I reexplained the situation about my mom and myself; no exceptions can be made I was told. I think this was very inconsiderate based on the age of my mother and the medical state I am now in. Reluctantly, I ordered two combo meals. When I was given the amount owed, I presented my firefighter badge. I was once denied and was told that this could not be accepted because they only offered a military and veteran discount. This was my first time at this Fuddruckers and only time that I have ever been denied a discount for being a first responder/firefighter. We were given cups for our drinks and I was told that the coke freestyle machines were broken and that only ice could be retrieved from it. I said that I would take an iced tea now and then just get my refill with a coke. Nothing was said. I thought it was mighty odd that before I could even get our drinks our food was ready. Upon picking it up, there were very few fries in which I did not comment on and gracefully sat down with my mo. Because there was no lemon packets or lemons for the iced tea, we decided we wanted a coke instead. I was informed at the counter that we were not allowed any refills and could not be given a soda because $400 to $500 is taken out nightly from the register because it is costing the restaurant that extra expense every day to have the canned sodas since their freestyle machine is not in service . I was told that they could not do this and I said that this cost should not be passed on to the customer as it is not the customer’s fault. At my local Fudrucker’s, we are given as many canned sodas as we can drink when their freestyle machines have been down. This is something I should have been notified of when placing my order. The entire experience was horrifying. I asked the manager for her name which she said was Veronica. I asked her for the general manager's name so that I could contact them. I was told she would tell me the same thing and would not give me her name; finally she wrote the name down for me as being Charletta. I told her I would contact the corporate office because of this most horrific experience dining with Fuucker’s this evening. I asked for the Corporate Office’s phone number and she said there was not one. Fuddrucker’s is my mom's favorite restaurant because she absolutely loves the french fries. We eat here on a weekly basis but usually on my side of town. This has completely changed our minds about the restaurant as the way things were handled. To make matters even worse, upon exiting the restaurant, as I opened the door to to leave , by the Fuddrucker’s carpet was a giant roach. This left us in total disgust.

Desired outcome: I would like a response and compensation of my meal. I want the situation to be rectified so that my mom can return to what her favorite hamburger spot was.

Fuddruckers / Luby's Fuddruckers Restaurants Customer service manager behaviors in food line

Very simple I was embarrassed and treated rudely at the Lubys in Dallas Tx, I67 and Hampton Rd. August 2022 @ 12noon duringn lunch a lines oerson was preparing my plate. The Service Mgr advised the server she'd put too much on my plate. As he was speaking she was handing me my plate. The mgr snatched the plate from both of us. Then he raked all the food back in the food trays in which the food was originally taken from. The server and I were bith shocked and embarrased. Then he started barking atbthe server how to make a plate while doing a remake. He tried handing the plate to me. I refused his service and walked out. The mgr made some comment under his breath, while lunch time customers watch.

Desired outcome: I think all staff at this location needs to be retrained starting with Mrgs and LeadsSecond my friend and I should receive complimentary dinners

Fuddruckers / Luby's Fuddruckers Restaurants Undesirable meals

My husband and I dined at Luby's in Stafford Texas on October 13, 2022 at 6:35 pm. I had the senior Lu Ann Liver and Onions and my husband had the Chicken Fried Chicken Combo. I sent my Liver and Onions back due to the bottom was charred. The waitress brought me another plate with more Liver and Onions but it was tough and I could not cut it with a knife and the onions were crunchy like raw onions instead of smothered onions. My husband's cabbage was very under cooked with a huge piece of the middle of the cabbage on his plate and his Chicken Fried Chicken did not taste fresh. We did not complain to management because we did not want to be replaced with another meal because all of it was the same. Of the many times that we have eaten at this location, this is the first time that we have experienced this. We were very disappointed with our meals considering that we spent $24.22. We have been loyal customers and would like to be reimbursed for our meals.

Went to Fuddruckers for the first time ever, this evenng, Saturday, October 15, 2022, at approximately 6PM. Went with another couple, decided to eat here instead of Dave & Busters in Legend's Outlet in Kasas City, Kansas. The food was great, we all got the Build Your Own Burgers, They were cooked liked we wanted but they were out of all kinds of condiments. Ketchup, mayo, mustard...they had plenty of fresh toppings like pickles, lettuce, tomato etc. The restaurant wasn't too busy but they still had a number of tables being used. I don't know if if they were understaffed but the restaurant was extremely dirty. Dirty plates (trays) and cups were moved from one dirty to a clean table but the dishes were stacked and stacked with more dirty dishes for the 1.5 hours we were there. The dirty tables were never cleaned, the floor was disgusting, dropped food left, spilled drinks not cleaned up, dropped trays that had fallen over were just left there and nobody batted an eye! I should have taken pictures but the thought never even crossed my mind once we saw mess after mess not being tended too. While our food was great the atmosphere was definitely one of those unforgettable ones and all 4 us wished the first impression could be changed, but you know what they say about first impressions. That first impression will definitely be a LONG LASTING ONE! Lately it just seems that nobody wants to work anymore, we even had a very mirror impression with the "Wahlbergers" in Topeka, KS a few weeks back. We will probably go back to Fuddruckers way, way, way down the road but we will NOT return to Wahlbergers...EVER! We just hope that the next time we decide to go to Fuddruckers we have a much more enjoyable experience, if not, then they've just lost 4 new customers that like to go out to eat and have good times together.

I can't believe what I heard from three different sources. That you say my brother Randy Nicolle was caught stealing from Fuddrucker's. This is something that affects MY REPUTATION since Randy is my brother and you have sullied the Nicolle family name. I demand some explanation to this matter. I will be consulting with my lawyer on this matter.

Fuddruckers / Luby's Fuddruckers Restaurants slow service items missing

When we ordered five kids meals no cookies were there
Missing and not brought ?
And the food took them 40 minutes to come missing one order which was left out and came after we all ate
Ridiculous !
Why shortage of staff appear, we also want our cookies for five kids meals ? What can we do next time to ensure finishing in less than forty minutes

I Ordered a medium plain buffalo burger and got a normal Burger of the wrong size. DOUBLE FAIL!

On the sign that's outside of Fuddruckers in Jackson, Mississippi read "Try our New Turkey Burger Basket for $4.99 " when i walked in and went to the counter to order the "New Turkey Burger Basket " the cashier told me that they didn't have anymore Turkey Burgers which they were giving false information to most people who came in . And the Bathroom was filthy .

Dondra Hollihand threatened and harassed me through social media, she also made a threat of physical violence against me while on the clock at work. I have many screen shots of the conversation, in addiction to a screen shot of the manager Ken's wife encouraging the unprofessional behavior and posts on social media. Please address this issue accordingly. Otherwise, I will take her threats directly to the police, and have them follow up with the company if no action is taken.

On 30 june 2019, i take my family and visited Fuddruckers, Mohandsen, Egypt, hotline#16226 Tele#37485063, actually i found the system there is not like the standards of Fuddruckers in each country i visited like, USA, KSA, Bahrain, Emirates, they asked me to pay extra charge for Salad, totally I refused as it is not the standards as it is included to my meal or my request, suddenly i found one guy came outside your stuff someone not working in your restaurant and start say bad words to me and try to help the restaurant manage by fighting with me with a very bad way, he wasn't wear your uniform, so i was doubt who is this talking to me, and when i insisted to know, your crew told me he is not from Fuddruckers team at and we are sorry for what happened to you, actually my night and my family became very bad because of this, my question is how someone come not from your crew and they allowed to him to talk to your guest, please find attached bill and my WhatsApp # is +[protected], my email is hassan.[protected]@weatherford.com, waiting to get my righteous back.

Fuddruckers / Luby's Fuddruckers Restaurants ruined my anniversary and eid

6th June Thursday
Me and my fiancee came to celebrate our anniversary and eid vacation.
So we came before she starts her work which is 7:00 pm at 4:30 we ordered 2 main courses and 2 appetizers.
The 2 appetizers reached the table 5:10 which is totally normal but the main courses they didnt came till 6:25

Please try to fix the situation

Please try to make it up at least for my fiancee because I was telling her so much good things about fuddruckers it was her first time .
Since she is Argentinian and never heared or tried fuddruckers but that day which was totally ruined .

Fuddruckers / Luby's Fuddruckers Restaurants fuddruckers experience

I went to Fuddruckers for lunch yesterday and had a terrible experience. When we ordered, I asked for the senior discount. After the employee rung it up and I received my receipt, I noticed the discount had not been applied. I questioned a couple of employees about it and they didn't know how to handle it. When I went to get my drink, I had to select four different options before I got one that was not empty. I brought it to the attention of the employee, but nothing was done about it. I ordered things that weren't available... for example I wanted cookies and coleslaw. The employee had to go into the back to get the bag of coleslaw and then had to mix it with the dressing and make it, and by that time I had received my food and it was getting cold. My husband's chicken sandwich was horrible and the restaurant was messy. I usually love Fuddruckers, but I was extremely disappointed with this experience!

My son start working their couple weeks now. This is his first job and he is still in highschool. Now he quite because this guy told him that he's gay and the guy said in his own words '' look we have 3 girls cashier include that [censored].'' who was my son and he call him gay and all of the worker laughing him .My son was doing the cashier / take customer order. This is a shame and disrespectful .I don't want this to happen to another worker .So please take care of this .It's the fuddruckers on woodruff Rd, Greenville south Carolina .My son work on weekend it was a Friday night and this person was the manager for that night .

Fuddruckers / Luby's Fuddruckers Restaurants received partial refund/bad customer service/served frozen food

After all, I received food I could not eat because of gluten allergies, only refund 10.25 : of 12.52 bill .After 50 minuets, I needed to go, In the car I had groceries and no patience. On 12/22/18 at3:08 PMI made a carry out order of a black bean burger on a gluten free bun w/Swiss cheese. After 20 minute wait, I received a frozen black bean patty, cold Swiss cheese, & partiality frozen non gf grilled plain bun. After another 20 minute wait, I received over cooked :black bean patty, melted Swiss cheese, & gluten grilled bun.Another 10 minuets, I waited for a gluten-free bun dethawed in microwave .Upon entry, I explained I have a gluten allergy. Due to cross contamination I could not eat the burger.Given excuses I customer was not correctly working an empty ice machine . Cook said the grill was not working.Tongs for tomato's, smeared melted cheese;violates my kosher diet. After asking for manager, the staff neither cared what I was promptly given service nor I was treated respect. After 10 minuets of wandering, the manager refunded my 10.52, of12.52, which after all was charged to my card.I need a full refund with the money returned to my account.an apology, &, free meal I can eat.Staff needs to be retrained. The location need to have fully working equipment.

Fuddruckers / Luby's Fuddruckers Restaurants kids meal chicken tenders

I am loyal fuddruckers customer for the past 20 years. Today the 1st of October at 8pm I have ordered kids meal chicken tenders. Unfortunately I was scammed by receiving a diffrent kind of chicken tender the one you get from grocery market the cheap ones and not cocked well ! order took by Mustafa. And When I called back to complaint about the chicken tenders I received, they said that they will prepare me the old tenders that I use to order the original fuddruckers tenders, it disappointing that they are serving this type of tinders from the market. Why didn't Mustafa the one who took my order didn't explain that they will delver this type of chicken?! and to add they even changed Fuddruckers spice it tasted like plane paprika.

Fuddruckers / Luby's Fuddruckers Restaurants burger and sodas

Burger just didn't good didn't have mushrooms for the mushroom swiss burger before they had no bacon for the bacon cheeseburger and charged full price and sodas were undrinkable didn't taste nothing like what they were gross color and taste do they ever clean the machine I would be ashamed to call the dirty dinghy place in Silver Spring Maryland a Fuddruckers I have been to others and they were good this one is the pits

Dear Fuddruckers stuff,

I have been visiting your Egypt cairo branch since several years ago. The quality is the best and the stuff are friendly. I really enjoyed the meals.

I called the branch today for a delivery and they said they don't offer this service! And I have to request the delivery order through otlob mobile app! This is ridiculous and unaccepted to not be able to make a direct order. The stuff said on the phone that they had only one delivery man for this service and he is not available anymore...!

How can the restaurant not able to deliver the meals to their clients! Shame!

Fuddruckers / Luby's Fuddruckers Restaurants customer service / inquiry 40218

This is my 6th email to you about my 8 missing gift cards totaling $435. I purchased these on August 10th at 10:37am. The order number is [protected] / Invoice #5527. I used my credit card ending in 4976 to make the purchase.

Yesterday I called customer service because I have heard nothing from the 5 previous email I sent, other than for Ted to ask if these were for gift cards, which he would have known had he looked at the order number. I spoke with Essenc in customer service and she was very rude and was not interested in resolving this issue. She said I would receive the cards whenever you decide to send them out. This is not acceptable to me because these are for a special trip planned for 25 people. The closest Fuddruckers to us is 4 hours away, so to receive these AFTER the trip is not acceptable because can not use them.

I am very unhappy about how this has been handled. I would like to cancel my order. I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the charges, which you immediately debited to my credit card with no problem.

Please respond to this email. As a business owner myself, I do not understand how there can be such a lack of communication, and you are a large corporation. This is a poor way to conduct business.

I am extremely unhappy with the service I am receiving. An order was placed at 07:09 using the Doordash online platform for food from Fuddruckers, the food has still not arrived. I called Fuddruckers and the woman (Leslie) was less than helpful. The initial representative put me on hold and then Leslie took the call without a warm welcome and I had to explain the situation from the beginning. The phone number I have is UK and the doordash online platform would not accept this. I put in a number that would be recognised. My issue is that I have not been updated on my order status and still have not received our food. This accompanied with the bad phone service has left me feeling unhappy and obviously still hungry.
Please can this be looked into and a response received via email.

Fuddruckers / Luby's Fuddruckers Restaurants cashier texting while taking our order

This is specific to the Woodbridge, VA Fuddrucker's location.

The cashier was very busy texting the entire time she took our order. She failed to note that my wife, who has celiac disease, required a gluten free bun. The cashier became annoyed when we pointed this out, rolling her eyes and saying "Yeah, I got it" in a very annoyed voice.

We have contacted the restaurant and received zero response. Consumers with a food allergy beware. The employees do not seem to care about the customers.
