JPMorgan Chase avoid chase mortgage at all costs

I reported CHASE BANK on January 18, 2010 for not processing my payment which was made on their faulty broken website on January 12, 2010 to be processed by January 15, 2010. It was still not done by their incredibly inept staff, not even answered by their inept customer service department, and they tried to say I was late? Not! I called them and had all the ammunition I needed! confirmation numbers and all! It was THEIR mistake NOT MINE! I told them about this site and about my public complaint. You know what they did? They went to EXPERIAN! They filed a mark on my record saying there was a PAYMENT ISSUE and it was FINALLY RESOLVED BY ME. IT MADE ME LOOK SUSPISCIOUS! If that izs not retaliation, I don't know what is? That cost me my credit rating with 2 other credit card companies that cut my credit in half with no warning! MF's CHASE BANK owned by JAMIE DEMON..he is the Demon himself.

JPMorgan Chase dailing for dollars

We bought a second home to remodel, financed by Chase on 80/20 1st and 2nd Mortgages, and be our primary home. We were screwed by the contractor and are currently going through court to collect. The contractor left it uninhabitable, we ran out of money and unable to pay mortgages, we immediately moved into "short sale" mode with real estate agents at the same time we stopped paying. This was at the end of 2007 as the recession was gaining steam and real estate was taking a beating and moving down every day.
We bought at $562K, the first offer on a short sale was $530K, Chase said no, the next offer was $490, Chase said no, another offer was $475K, (together now) Chase said no. Every day, every week, real estate prices were dropping. Chase's stand was that "we could get more on the market" then what we were getting offers for. We tried for 6 months, our agents finding buyers, and Chase saying no. Keep in mind that ALL of the OFFERS knew that they needed to fix the house in order to live there. The second quit working with us on Jan 2008, they charged it off, and sold the deed to a Chase Flex Fund, house foreclosed in June 2008. Forward to Nov 2008, Chase for the 2nd mortgage, sent a offer letter of "pay us a third of the loan, and we will forgive the balance", we said NO! June 2009, a collection company sends a letter to pay up, we said validate the debt, never heard from them again. April 2010, another collection company sends a letter, again we said validate the debt, they send copies of the loan documents. The loan docs specify a "Deed of Trust" as "collateral" for the property. Our position follows the California Civil Code of Procedure 580, that says (paraphrase) "if the house is sold in a non-judicial foreclosure (not forced by court) you get what you get and can no longer attempt to collect for any deficiency"
We, again, said that we owe nothing and do not acknowledge the debt.
Ball is back in their court.
We took out a HELOC on our first home to pay for the construction and multiple mortgage payments, now the house is worth less than what we owe. Push comes to shove, they need to sue us if they think they have a case, and we will counter sue for harassment under false pretenses.
Best case, we get money from them, worst case, we file BK after judgment.

JPMorgan Chase rude and unprofessionlism, overcharging customer fees

We had financial problem in 2009 and had to have Chase give us extension agreement so we could keep our only car. Now that the loan has restarted we are still being charged late fees and returned check fees Etc. I tried to talk to them today 05/26/10 they said they have every legal right to do so and than we have never paid on time which is in correct. I tried to talk to first customer rep and he told me i was wrong several times and then hung up on me. So I called back got another rep and she treated me like I was a deadbeat and continued to tell to be quiet and listen and then i was asking for supervisor and she hung up on me. So I called back again and got hold of another customer rep and he tried, lol to get a supervisor and then told me she was in a meeting and would call me with in the hour, and it has been over 2 hours. They say we owe a total of over 400.00 dollars in late fees and a 50.00 dollar door knock fee, which never happened. We have only had the car: bought brand new in Sept. of 2009. This company need to be put out of business. Really...!

JPMorgan Chase very rude customer service rep

Very nasty attitude from a Mrs. Williams in the student loan department. She was very rude and nasty from the get go and even hung the phone up on me! When I called back she happened to answer again and was even twice as nasty! Take your business elsewhere folks. chase is very undeserving of it. And prior to dealing with her and even after dealing with her, I was STILL getting the run around!

JPMorgan Chase Closed my account without notice

I recently had a problem using my chase debit card while making a purchase. A few hours later I called the automated recording to check my balance since I knew I had available funds and to my surprise, the recording said I was negative $39 million dollars! I then called the banks 800 number and asked what happened. They then connected me with an "account specialist" who really had no answer for me. All she said was that "chase has made a decision to end the relationship with my account and will be closing it"! I said what! Why, whats the reason? No answer was given other than I will be getting a letter in the mail. I had a few transactions that had not cleared and she did not care about them and said, "well - they just wont get paid"
My wife then called also and they gave her the run around with no answers either! Finally, after the weekend passed my wife went into our local branch to speak with the bank manager and was a total #!
She said that she strongly suggested I keep our money there til our recent transactions cleared or we will get an overdraft. My wife said " you guys are the ones that are closing our accounts after being with the same account number for 15 years, through great western, wamu and now chase and they treat us like this! With no explaination? I just also found out that 5 people I know had the same thing happen to them. And no answers either for them! What the hell is going on here? Can anyone explain or have a theory or maybe happened to you as well?

This is regard to the closing of Chase bank in Lafayette Indiana. Now you have closed the second branch on the south and east side of Lafayette Indiana. You make it very inconivent for me to use your bank. I have long sence been a customer of chase. It seems like your customer inportance is loosing ground. Not at this time I will continue as a long standing user person will be using chase.

I am sure my comment will fall on deaf ears but just want to he heard.

On Friday 05/01/2019 after checking my statement for the CARE stimulus, I became aware my checking account was being hit with a reoccurring $25 (approximate) fee to which no articulation of what it actually was other than a fee since 04/30/2019. My statements are electronic & I pay all my bills from this checking account. I use telephone banking as my job always has me on the move & some locations do not have computers or Wi-Fi to use. After calling their customer service number, it was concluded that I had a checking account that required a higher minimum balance than expected, that somehow started to fine me ever since 04/2019. I was unsettled at the lack of reasonable notice as the fee reoccurred monthly for a whole year without communicating to me there may be a problem. The customer service credited back the last four months bringing it down below $300 & changed the checking to a basic checking account. I had asked for the remainder & was advised they could only do the last four months after being hung up on, then passed around & placed on hold for over an hour. I had conferenced the holding call while calling the customer service again to get an affirmative answer. I would've been a long standing customer since they where Wells Fargo & that's how they did me.

UPDATE!
So I called Chase support again since the elevated support never called me back.

What a surprise?!
Lower support(In India) I think told me there was no overdraft, no overdraft history at all showing up.
They said they have never seen such happen before.

I have screenshots of the online bank notifications showing the overdraft plus an ATM printout also showing the huge overdraft.

I'm almost happy they decided to close my account. I don't need fake overdrafts scaring me to death with my heart issues.

I'll never trust them again.

Right here before Christmas too.
I've happily banked with Chase for over 8 years.
I'm fairly dirt poor and was using the account to pay bills.

They sent me an email that even with overdraft protection turned off some how I now show an overdraft of over $8, 000.00 !

I called and they said they would not even discuss any details on who or what created the overdraw.
They also said that in 10 days they would force close my account.

It stinks, they seem to be hiding something. I didn't even have any credit left on the account before this happened and with overdraft turned off any purchases would just fail and be denied, so how can they allow an overdraft of 8 grand unless some bank employee stole it or Chase got hacked and trying to hide it
I also had a Chase branded credit card on my account that I've been making good payments on and its due in 3 days.

I asked the Chase clerk on the phone if I can still make a deposit to at least cover my Amazon card and she said it would be grabbed to cover the overdraft.

So now Chase has screwed me 2x to the tune of $8 grand and about $500.00 by ruining my Amazon credit card too.

Congress needs to dig for answers.
I'm going really high politically after the holidays. $8 grand I could have used in credit to buy a junk car since I'm carless too.

I've been a loyal credit card customer of Chase for years, and have never had a single late payment or any issues.

So when I recently moved and needed a new bank for my personal checking account, I naturally thought of Chase since there was a local branch just a few miles from my new home.

I opened an account online, and linked it to my credit card account with them. And began making deposits.

I used their app to make a remote deposit of a check a client sent me for $1275, and was informed that there would be a hold placed on the funds. Which was fine. I totally understand that is standard for most banks with a new checking account.

And I had around $2, 500 in the account anyway from my previous deposits that went fine with them.

A few days after the deposit, I went into my local branch to make a small $300 withdrawal (which there was more than enough funds to cover out of the $2500 above and beyond the deposit with the hold on it.)

After dealing with the teller for nearly 20 minutes she put me on the phone with someone else at Chase who said that my account had been "restricted" because of the $1275 deposit, and I couldn't access or withdraw ANY of my other $2500 in the account until the $1275 check cleared.

While I was obviously frustrated, I had no choice but to wait. A few days later I got a notification that the $1275 check was fine and had indeed cleared, so I went online to make a payment from my checking to my Chase credit card and was given an error message that the transaction could not be processed.

So I called Chase and after being bounced around for 30 minutes from person to person, I wound up on the phone with a very rude and condescending person in their "risk management" department who informed me that my account was being closed, I could never again FOR LIFE bank with Chase, and he refused to tell me WHY the account was being closed.

All he did admit was that all of my deposits had cleared just fine, I had not had any issues with a single bounced check or any other negative activity on the account... Just that I and my business were (for no stated reason) not welcome at Chase, ever, for life.

So now they are holding ALL of my funds hostage, no one will tell me if or when I will get my thousands of dollars in my account returned to me, and I just paid to order checks which are now worthless.

I've NEVER experienced anything this frustrating or infuriating when dealing with ANY company in my entire life, and the part that is worse than them screwing with my money is they won't even provide an explanation of WHY!

I have had a perfect history with them for YEARS as a credit card customer, have never had any issues with my checking accounts at other banks, yet I'm (for no reason) banned for life from banking with Chase?! (Not that after this experience I'd ever even consider banking or borrowing from them! And I'd recommend that anyone who does, get's your money out of their incompetent, and rude hands as quickly as possible!)

Chase Bank. in the summer of 2009, My a relative named Andy Sweetack fraudulent used my credit card, I was called while in Ohio with proof being there. I was on vacation.since I hadn't used my card in over a month. not to mention I paid on tie prior to dues date and over minimum Was eventually called by chase and I was advised i would't have to pay since the police arrested him and arrested him at ShopKo. I sent in my notification to dispute the charges by they were rejected I was told for some reason because we was a close relative, They never received my dispute, (which I did send) I was also told by the customer service they didn't have enough evidence it wasn't a scam. I had the police report proving it him being stolen, him admitting it and he served time . So I had to pay over a thousand to a debit collection that i paid back which I didn't owe in the first place.

Just received a letter from JPMorgan Chase Bank closing my Business Account with them. WTF? The larger a company gets, the less they are willing to provide sub-standard customer service. WHAT A JOKE! I am in the process now of closing my accounts, re-financing my auto loan that they also hold and withdraw the $40, 000 in a personal account there as well.

Chase just closed my sons account. He has never had an over draft, bounced check or any fraud in his account. He was having trouble logging in to his online account so he called the help desk. They told him his account as been closed and he will not be allowed to do business with Chase in the future. I drove him to a branch, the lady helping us said she reviewed his account and sees no reason why his account would be shut down and she called her corp and they would not even tell her. We called the corporate office again and was told they have the right to refuse service without explanation. I will be closing my account with them as well. What a joke this bank is.

JPMorgan Chase mortgage foreclosure

Chase just sold my condo at a foreclosure sale! I was in a forebearance plan... And making the payments! Because I did not get all the "documents" to them, they foreclosed. The kicker is, I had a second mortgage through chase, had a forebearance plan approved, provided all the documentation to them that they wanted, and the first mortgage people new about all of it because they would not authorize the forebearance for the first mortgage until the second one was approved! Is there some reason the first mortgage people could not use the documents I provided to the second mortgage people? Same documents which were requested, same company.
I believe this government forebearance program is a joke. Our federal government gives millions to these banks to make "forebearance" loans to us citizens that have truly suffered through the economic downturn. However, the banks keep the money and earn interest. The longer they can make you jump through hoops, the more they earn in interest. Then, if you do not dot every I and cross every t, they foreclose! When they foreclose, they get that delinquent debt off their books, and their bottom line looks better. Even though they may take a "technical" loss on the property when it is re-sold, they can write that off. They win, citizens loose! Is it any wonder that there are supposedly millions of homeowners who should be helped, and only something like 85, 000 have actually been successful. My mother is buying her house and her stuff was turned over to Chase and she has had nothing but problems ever since! She also makes her payments ever month and they keep saying that she is behind 2-3 months even though she has her receipts, they are threating her with forecloser too! They are nothing but a ripoff company and something should be done about them!

JPMorgan Chase makes you pay in order to receive refund from fraud

If you have purchased or received a CHASE Gift Card, you better use it quick and now! This is because if you have unexpected activities on your card, even if you did not lose the card, the bank tries to make money off of you and make you pay a fee to replace or close the account!

They tell you that there are fees associated with replacing the card and closing the account. Whether you choose to replace the card that has fraudulent activities or close the account completely, they make you pay a fee. They also tell you that this fee is not waivable, because apparently it takes them a lot of money to do so. Also, if you are arguing about the fraud, if you don't pay this replacement or account closing fee, they reverse the credit and you get NOTHING back! So I basically was threatened to pay the fee or I lose the $60 fraud amount.

They also make you a lot of trouble going back and forth with the whole investigation.

I thought gift card is supposed to help you secure your credit card and money, and yet Chase is trying to make money off of you. I had my card in my possession the entire time, and never used it online either, and have only used it in restaurants. How is a gift card different from a regular credit card? If there is unusual activities on your credit card, the bank usually always refund you the amount immediately, replace the card for you immediately with no fees, and then investigate! So it's a lot more money to make gift cards?! Bank gift cards make you purchase them already, and now they ask you for replacement fee when I did not lose my card, but it has to be replaced because of fraud! Ridiculous! How come regular stores who sell gift cards never make you pay additional fees?!

Someone please tell me, am I being unreasonable?! So I'd like to warn everyone once again, if you have purchased and received a CHASE gift card, you better use it now and quick and never purchase from them again! American Express is the way to go, their cards never expire, no dormant fees and no replacement fees! CHASE has absolutely horrible customer service even though I have been their Credit Card customer for over 10 years and they tell me I have to replace the card, pay the fee in order to favour the dispute in my direction, when I am a victim of a credit card fraud! Something is seriously wrong here I think.

JPMorgan Chase taken money unauthorized for a charged off wamu acct.

I opened this account with $2000.00. The whole time I have had this account open nothing has been sent in the mail or over the phone authorizing Chase to take money out of my account for a charged off WAMU Acct. I didn't authorize these withdrawals. I have went to the branch where I always get great customer service and they gave me the number to contact WAMU/CHASE recovery dept. I talked to three different people which out of the three one person was nice. I'm gonna close this account and take all my remaining money out before they come up with some more (BS). I took a loan for my 401k ADP due to a financial hardship and I needed all that money, now I'm assed out and I'm furious about it. If I owed why couldn't they take a little at a time or setup a payment plan or flat out taken the debt when I opened the account in July of 2009. 1-800-customer service, yeah right I feel like I'm not a valued customer and that they can just do what they want to do with whoever's money bad bad service. I love my Rosenberg Chase Branch and I like the bank, but Chase needs to re-train people on communication and customer service completely.

JPMorgan Chase I am told different things each time I call

I have been in the loan modification process since 06/09 with Chase Home Finance and have been making my forbearance payments since then, I was told I would only be in this process for 90-120 days, it is now going on 8 months and still haven't heard a thing. I call at least once a week and I am told different things each time. I haven't even been assinged an analyst yet, all required docs have been sent several times. When I call and ask to speak to a manager or supervisor I am immediately told "NO! you cannot", I am so frustrated at this I don't know what to do or where to go to get my issued resolved. I have issued a complaint with the FTC (federal trade commission) and my next step is the Attorney General. Once I find the CEO's # of Chase, which is Jamie Dimon, I will be giving him a call. If you have any advice on what I should do, please tell me!

FORBEARANCE IS A SCAM! THEY WILL KEEP YOUR MONEY AND YOU WON'T EVEN GET TO CLAIM THE INTEREST AT YEAR END! DON'T DO IT!

Let me join this club. In May 2009 I initated a loan modification. I was told to make payments for 3 months and I would here from Chase. Well I did 12 months later and they tell me I have not made a payment since August 2009. When confronted with receipts for the Aug 2009 through April 2010 payments I was told I had to send them to the payment Research Department for resolution. I was told the same thing twice. Now they want me to pay an additional $13, 000 to correct the deficency. How is this helping a home owner? As for customer assistance it should be called the "Stump the Customer Department". In my opinion they are useless unless you are a big stake money holder in Chase.

JPMorgan Chase I am very unhappy about the service I received from chase

I am very unhappy about the service I received from Chase. I went to the bank to have my funds transferred from my unemployment secure card to my account. The lady scanned my card then came back and told me that their system was down. However, my funds came off of my card but was not in my account. I spoke to branch manager Jorge in Hammond, In. His attitude was very unprofessional. He told me to go to the umemployment office. I did so and they told me that it was stuck in cue for Chase. I pulled it up on the computer and took to the bank to show proof. Jorge would not look at it and basicly just brushed me off. Needless to say I did not receive my money. They would not reverse the transaction and I was left to suffer the consequences of someone elses mistake. I was a Wamu customer never had any problems at all until Chase took over. This is ridiculous! Something needs to be done. I was unable to pay my bills. I have a green notice from Nipsco and no food. What am I to do. Please help get these chase people in line.

I went to the Traverse City MI branch to make my first withdrawal of my unemployment card. The clerk said she would need a manager to perform my transaction. I was taken to an office with the branch manager and forced to listen to a spiel about their products. He then asked 0ver twenty questions about my finances, which was not any of his business. I could not get my cash from him! Finally, to get my cash, I opened a checking account, savings account, credit card, and 401K just to get out of there! I cancelled all accounts the next day. Unfortunately, the manager had called the Unemployment hotline and switched my payment from the debit card to the Chase checking account. I don't think that someone can make that change on an account that isn't their own...isn't that fraud or atleast illegal?

JPMorgan Chase fake charges

Where do I begin? DO I begin with the company that doesnt send paper statements, when that is what I requested? Do I talk about how I received 17 calls this week for a payment that is not yet late? DO I complain about how the company claims my check did not arrive on time, and that they then charge me $60 some dollars for a late fee for a payment that was on time? How about the rudest customer service reps on the planet- who believe they need to yell to be heard? And while they are yelling, and when they are finished, threaten to disconnect you? AHA BUT THERE IS A TRICK!

When they threaten to disconnect you, listen to their music because you are tying up their line. DO NOT HANG UP. Keep demanding to speak to a supervisor. The music tone will go down and the rep is listening and eventually- low and behold- you get a supervisors... VOICE MAIL.

Racist, classist company that takes advantage of the economically challenged. I would be happy to start up a class action law suit or a claim to the better business bureau with any other interested parties.

JPMorgan Chase overdraft protection & promotion&

Temerity and unmitigated gall are just a few of the repeatable terms that came to mind when I read the terms and conditions of Chases latest slap in the face to consumers with their pseudo promotion of Overdraft Protection (For whom?). Not only are the egregious terms and conditions an outrage and a sham trick to finance their way out of their self-induced recessionary woes on the backs of their customers the offer is filled with multiple caveats such as "we may, at our discretion, etc. etc. which enables them to impose horrendous fees whenever it's most advantageous for them to do so. And what for? All for the privilege of having your overdrafts honored for the sole purpose of enabling them to charge you for said "service".
That's not all. It seems that even if your wise enough not to take the bait and refuse to sign up they can still get you if you are (as most of us are today) an automatic bill payer. Here they indicate that even if you decline the service they will still apply their new outrageous fees to any of your payments that cause an overdraft. They give themselves the right to do anything they please while you irrespective of whether you resist or acquiesce will pay a hefty price by continuing to be a Chase victim. Vote with your feet. Take your money out of Chase and bank elsewhere -Today!

JPMorgan Chase wrecker sent to repo new vehicle before first payment was due and after putting down 9, 883

Purchased a new Kia Sorento. Put down $9, 883. First payment due June 11, 2010. Wrecker in driveway on May 13, 2010 to repo car at 11:30 P.M. Bank told car dealership I hung up on them. I did not. Mildred phoned me from Chase Auto Finance and asked for references and I gave her the same references as the ones on my application. She wished me well and hung up. A few days later another women called me from the bank. She was very rude and demanded my pay stubs from the last 30 days. I told her I'd given the bank everything they asked for and thought I had a contract. I even gave them my income tax returns. She said she had to speak to the underwriters. I thought I was approved. I'd taken delivery of the car on April 8, 2010. State Farm Insurance called and said Chase Auto Finance put themselves down as the lien holder on the car on May 4, 2010.
I called the police when the wrecker arrived. They were useless. I phoned the general manager of the sister dealership Honda. She sent the wrecker away. I am to meet with her today to finance this car with another company.

Unbelievable! After putting down nearly 10grand on a car and then the loan company threatens to repossess before the first payment due. Outrageous! Better off with a cheaper car at a different dealership. Spending more than 10k on a car is just crazy! I wouldn't pay that much for a car, maybe if my house needed a new roof yes, but not for transportation.

Hope your vehicle was financed through another company.They have wanted to know the exact location of our car and threatened us to go through reposstion without our consent for being one week late.This company is scary.

I sold cars for 5 yrs at the same company and never heard of a bank treating my customers this way.This recession is causing all kinds of banks to take advantage of any financial situation they can.They have no respect for the customers that have made them filthy rich.

JPMorgan Chase credit reporting and late fees

I’ve had a loan with Chase for the past 4 years. Beware- the suppose 10 day grace period is just a scam. I’ve made payment during the additional 10 days they gave you to pay and they still charge you up to $75 in late fee and they will report you to the credit bureau. They have ruined my credit.

If you have not made a payment by the exact due date they harass you at work and home, as if you’re a criminal. Their favorite phrase is “and the call will not stop until you make the payment”. I’m talking about 10 calls in a matter of 2 hours.

I work based on commission in real estate and I have notified numerous of time on my situation. They don’t care. They have too much power and there is nothing we can do. I’ll take the late fee, but when it’s within the grace period it’s not fair.

Don’t offer a grace period if your not going to honor it. This bank is so bad and now I’m stuck with them, because they ruined my credit. There should be laws to protect our credit rate.

Banks always win. Chase, Goldman and Bank of America had the best quarter this year. No other bank did. How did that happen, I know Chase bank is ripping the little people off. Bank of America (or should I say The Bank that rapes Americans) does the same with overdraft fee, and later have no records on why they charged it in the first place. And Goldman Sachs, well they’re all over the news.

In the good old days I would send them an addition $200 payment per month and was never late. Now That I’m barely making enough money to support my home, I also have to worry about the disgusting bank ruining my credit and the embarrassment on their harassing calls at work and home.

JPMorgan Chase loop holes in new overdraft laws

I'm trying to get the word around about Chase Bank's new plot to climb through loopholes in the new overdraft opt in or out laws. Here's what I uncovered so far to the best of my knowledge (please correct any information if I'm incorrect). Chase has this debt card program called leisure rewards that they are starting to market and force of new clients and current ones as well. This program is scheduled for "face-lift" here soon that will change the name from "leisure rewards" to ultimate rewards". (the program is one of those cheezy point earning rip-offs for using your debt card) Everything is suppose to be the same except for the fact that purchases made using an electronic pin during the transaction will not qualify to earn rewards points as they previously had for the "leisure" program. Not to worry because debit card rewards found a solution to allow all your purchases to qualify for points. They call it a blink card, I think. It's a debit card that sort of enters in your pin number for (it's insuranced for fraud supposedly)you and making the rewards points apply to all your purchases because technically you aren't punching any buttons with your pin number. The blink card is so you are rolling in the dough of rewards points using your debit card even though the rules just threw out those pin entering debit card transactions. Why they made this was a mystery for moment until I busted them? Yah me! New overdraft laws protect transactions where a pin is entered using a debit card only. Meaning that the bank must disclose the opt in or out to it's customers who solely use pin number transactions before robbing them with overdraft fees. Okay, this rewards program is signing people up against their true understanding of the consequences. New costumers may be given an option to join in the rewards, but I doubt it. And if you receive a debit card for your account new or old in the mail with words "ultimate or leisure rewards" on the front somewhere then by activating the card you are signing up for this program. It's fine print somewhere. They tricking people at this very moment. When your debit card expires they'll order a replacement with rewards (tattoo) without even asking your oppinion. Don't activate it! First of all they'll charge you a yearly fee for doing so. Here's the kicker, the new overdraft laws will not protect you if you are in this rewards program. It's because the program changes disallow points to be earned with transactions evolving a pin selection so you are now using a "blink card" that doesn't require your pin to be entered. Now that you don't have to physically enter a pin number for your transactions, then federal law doesn't cover your purchases. Federal law for overdrafts discloses only apply for transactions evolving finger to button contact during the pin selection phase. If Chases's new blink (rewards) debit card does the pin selection for you, then they aren't violating any law when they allow overdrafting and fee placement for these purchases. Don't fall into this nasty loophole of distruction made by this bank. I hope I explained this where everyone can understand me. Any added suggestions or corrections is appreciated. Beware of Chase!

Chase is another well known scam banking institution, they now are changing their Free checking accounts to $12.00 a month service fees, starting in Feb 2011 . You now have to have a minimum of $500.00 in these once free accounts to get a FREE account, seems like most customers would be grandfathered in under the old free account status, but its typical, Chase and Capital One are nothing more than corporate terrorists.

Yah, I basically just got screwed by signing up with chase. I received that "Get $100 on us" coupon, and instead of opening a free checking account which she did not even make me aware of, she got me to sign up for the Ultimate Rewards account. On the coupon, it only says to open a new Chase Checking account, not an account that you must pay for. It is ridiculous to have to pay to use your own money.

JPMorgan Chase unauthorized drafts from my checking account

I have been in contact with representatives from JP Morgan Chase's Auto Finance division for over a month now, with no return call nor any attempts at resolution to my issue. My auto loan with this bank was paid in full in February of this year. I had previously set my account up for automatic payments from my checking account (with a separate bank) to Chase and was told those automatic payments would cease when the account was paid in full. Not so. Two drafts have been pulled from my bank account after the account has been 'closed' by Chase. After calling to see where the payments were applied and/or if a refund was forthcoming, I was told to send a letter and documentation to 'Anna' and she would look into my claim to see if it was 'valid' and get back with me. This was on April 29, 2010. I have yet to receive a return call from Anna, and attempts to call her have been ignored thus far. This is absolutely unacceptable. I want my money back!

JPMorgan Chase unsecured loan for bad credit

Ms. Christine Mullins a loan office for Chase Investment Service from Manhattan NY called and stated I were an approved for the $10, 000.00 unsecured loan. Enclosed information was sent to me in e-mail form.This document verifies that will receive a Personal Loan of $10, 000.00 once the premium payment of $974.08 is paid to secure the loan of the 48 month term, which is a 4 year term. Once Regina Stokes pays the premium payment of $974.08 of the 48 month term, the premium will be applied to the first 4 months premium payment. I Western Union $975.00 plus the $86.00 fees to a lady Hernel H. Brooks who was a representative from a bank in London Ontario Canada. The next day received a call from Ms. Mullins stated I was not approved because since it was a high risk loan I need to pay the insurance up from to insured that Chase Investment would receive their money if I default on the loan. I Western Union another $450.00 plus the $48.00 fees for the insurance to Hernel H Brooks. As of day NO LOAN, tried to call Ms. Mullins no answers just voicemail. NEVER WESTERN UNION ANY MONEY FOR FEES TO RECEIVE A LOAN.

JPMorgan Chase unauthorized withdrawals

I received a collection letter from Chase saying I owed 63.95, so I called the 800 number listed and was told that it was from a 8yr old Washing mutual account I had. Six months later they took it upon themselves to withdrawal it from my checking account. Is this possible?

I am writing to let you know what is going on at Chase Paymentech's risk management Dept.The analyst who is name Vanessa Therrien. She is a racist woman.she does not like Asia people, she is got bad attitude to their customers, that is not good for the company.
Chase Paymentech don't care their business customers except money, if you put a lot money there to open an account, you're very welcome, no interest. If you don't have that much money there, you better be careful, they may kick you out later. Yes, every bank like do that, still, chase is the worst! Look, Goldman Sachs is down, next is Chase!

Chase Paytech customer service is really really unprofessional, they don't care if you are a client or small business that been burnt by their merchant. Here is what is going on our company card was processed by chase tech their merchant (client) is TCA Logistics phoenix arizona, you google that company no listing...

Chase Paymentech Risk management dept. is bad, they were not only no help to small business owners, but also screw up their business. This dept. is useless, because they don't producing anything but lost customers. Don't open business account in Chase, Small business owner!
