My cellc contract phone was stolen while I was at university, on the 11 february 2017. I blocked the number by calling cellc. A police report was filed and a case opened. The contract holder approached pinetown cellc shop during the following week to have a sim-swap. The swap would take 24-48hrs to complete, the employee said I would contacted when the sim was ready. I wasn't for over two weeks. Eventuaaly I received the sim card on the 13 march 2017. My contract airtime was there and my free sms's. My next contract airtime came 2 days later and my free sms's were taken away. As pinetown cellc office was delaid, I lost out on the potential benefits of my contract. I'm frustrated with the service of that cellc shop as this is the second delay with my contract.

I dropped my phone in water on the 10th of october and I then went to the cellc branch in tyger valley where they suggested I claim because I believed I have ccover on the 11th as my phone was not switching on at all. One of the consultants phoned ccover only to be told that I dont have ccover anymore and could not tell me why? Its always a different story. I upgraded in august this year and remember clearly saying over the phone if the price includes ccover and the answer was yes. I was never informed that I would be removed from ccover and no one could give me a straight answer. I then get a phone call from gabriel mphala and was told that I must fill in an incident claim form and must give c-surance a call to insure my phone and must pay upfront for the months that my phone was not covered due to ccovers negligence. If I had the money I would go and cancel my contract today but I dont and I will not be upgrading with cellc again. That was sorted after how many phone calls, emails and complaints. Just a few days ago I get another call from someone at the customer care department who told me that it was someone at the cape gate cell c store who removed my ccover when I upgraded. So gabriel finally helped me and informed me that I could take the phone in to the nearest cellc store to me. I then dropped it off at the cape gate branch on the 5th of december to be sent to repairs centre. I today the 10th of december I called cape gate branch to request feedback on the process and was told the phone was sent to johannesburg on the 5th but when I called the repairs centre they had not recieved it yet. I asked to speak to a manager at the branch but there was no manager on the floor and when I called customer care again and requested to speak to a manager or a director to lay a complaint and find out where my phone is there wasnt one available and was told there are a few but no one knew where they were. Rifilwe at customer care was extremely sarcastic with me when she suggested I speak to the team leader when I made it very clear I want to speak to a manager or a director and I said no then I got told 'so you dont want anybody to call you back'. I have had it with such poor service and I am now aiming to take this further as this is it! Please someone help me!

I requested to Migrate from an expensive package to a cheaper top up package to control my usage myself as they're not allways on line to get balances. They refused! Said i must wait 6 months - i migrated iN April 2017 and they are only willing to migrate me in October 2017. I emailed them my contract -as they didn't even have it - which clearly does not state Migration terms. They refused and said it's business rules. That's rubbish! They can not do what they want when they want and then call it business rules. Why on earth do i sign a contract then if they can do anything they want.

I recently lodged about 7 complaints about the lack of service from cellc and their repair center, their managers and consultants, every time i get a call from someone new as the previous person didnt follow up on what was promised, they then tell me they will check up and call me back, its been a month still no feedback nor did the over promising manager viren, onkopotse or anyone else call me, their consultants including denver pillay is brilliantly pathetic and have poor customer skills and telepone manners...i will not leave a stone un turned to bring down their name from now on as i have given then to many chances...

The cellC call centre is hopeless.

Since my phone was stolen on 22/07/08. I most probably spoke to 6 different departments and heard 12 different stories. You never get to speak to same person. After a weak I started recording names of people I spoke to (8 and counting) Each department refers you to another department and simply palms you off with a different story. Nobody gets back to you.

Originally, when I phoned on 22/07/08, I wanted to find out how long I had remaining before I was due a new phone and If it was possible to pay extra to get it quicker.
I was told that although I still had 3 months remaining I could get a phone on 1st August, provided the phone was blacklisted.
But I had to provide the phone serial number, which I did not have.
The cell C shop where I signed my contract could not access my account to find out the serial number and give me a new SIM card in the mean time as I was a business account holder and they couldn’t find me on the system.
Once again, I phoned the call centre, to explain dilemma, But they couldn’t help me, because they needed verification from my business partner who was oversees at time.
When my business partner returned, all they asked was his ID, which I could have provided a week earlier and suddenly they could access my serial number on system and blacklist my phone. Why was that not done when they “froze” my sim card?
They now told me I was required to complete an insurance claim. 8 days after I reported phone stolen! It has been over 2 weeks and I still don't have a phone!

I mislaid my phone recently and I have been trying to blacklist my number. my number was rica'd when the law was passed.I have tried on many occassions to blacklist but with no success. The opperators on the other end want to know what is the last 5numbers that you dialled, how much of airtime you have, when was the last time you rechard, and how much did you recharge with .

I was using Vodacom before I ported to CellC, Our company had a contract with CellC where they asked if we can move to CellC yes we agreed with them as we were promised a good sarvice but now I'm not happy at all. My client can't get hold of me. In a week I can have ten to twenty people complaining about my phone. The say my phone it is always off while I keep myphone 24/7 onn. So please fix this problem for me before I get back to Vodacom, and even my my coligue might join me getting back to our previous network. Or contact me as soon as you get this masage. [protected]

Local people (you know what I mean) loose ANY sense of reality! They think business is a taking money from customers. Who will WORK to satisfy those customers? Sorry, there is NO such people - they gone sinse appartheid was fallen.
So... no any advices except leave that monkeys with their bananas and go to ANY normal country. You will see, this stupid republic will fall in 5 years COMPLETELY. I promise.
