Cash Crusaders Dixon Smart Tv (40 inch)

Good day ,
This complaint is about Cash crusaders at the Philippi branch(Junxion mall).
Last year in November I bought a brand new Dixon smart tv .Thinking that I it is a good brand and I made the write decision.Than a week later w noticed that the Tv was bent at the back and and the screen was becoming weird it was us niether did we break the Tv.So we went back to the shop to return it.The sales Rep admitted to us that he did check ti and he said that the Tv will be taken for repairs Thats when the big problem started.Since than I havent received my tv and whenever I call them I am being made a foool.They keep lying to me and telling lies .Both the supervisors are not helpful and I believe this a cover up.No accountability was taken nor are they sorted it out.I would never recommend that brach to anyone

Cash Crusaders 24 hours warranty for cordless microphones

I purchased a Dixon Mic Set on the 08th of July 2025, and after only a few uses, both cordless microphones are experiencing signal loss and have stopped working.

I called the branch last week and I was told that the warranty on the microphones is 24 hours.

Can you please give an explanation to that?

Cash Crusaders No consumer act following

Going to take cash crusaders table bay to ombudsman due to apparently not needing to follow consumer act. Bought 2 phones and they are slow,low storage without many apps installed. We are unable to install a security app, poor quality phone, it does if support my needs of someone who just needs what's app and one security app and I should have know by the name doogee (dodgy) and I was told they don't follow the consumer act and not interested as phone was switched on. Wait for it I will do everything in my power to make sure the branch fails and people get to know the cheap [censored] products you sell.

Recommendation: Never gonna make sure you loose business.

Cash Crusaders Rude owner that has a nerve to even swear at a customer

Dobsonville cash crusaders is absolutely rubbish. They treat people like nonsense, and the owner is very rude! I mean I have been to many cash crusaders and never been told that I can't wear a cap or sunglasses in the store.

They have many cameras but yet they tell you the reason is "Security reasons". I mean what kind of security hazard is wearing a cap, binie or sunglasses? They don't even search for firearms or weapons when entering the store, but for safety they are worried about a cap?

And it's like they choose who they tell that nonsense to, as some customers will be wearing them and continuing whilst they demand you to remove yours!

NONSENSE and I want their head office number to take this further

Cash Crusaders Bought brand new hybrid speakers, which only one last one service. No guarantee, no exchange and no refund.

I bought 2 hybrid 15" speakers 340w saperatly, one was bought in March 2025, and the second in May 2025. I only use them once and one of the speakers burnt. I did lodge a complaint with branch in kimberley new park where I bought them, I only was told on that time that the speakers doesn't have any guarantee, of which is not right, cause this is new speakers with a tough price. I'm requesting your assistance on this matter, either to exchange or full refund.

Cash Crusaders Doogee s51 going for nearley 6 months and frustrated

We Bought 2023 a DooGee S51 Phone. Because it say its unbreakable
Fake news? The Phone was good to be honest till its first drop then Screen Crack and later on Power button don`t want to switch on .
We give it in 2024 Dec Still waiting 2025.
Every time we ask it been say sorry we don`t have spares

Cash Crusaders Cordless drill complaint regarding incorrect renewal and miscommunication at cash crusaders

Dear Cash Crusaders,

I am writing to formally address an issue regarding the renewal of my pawned items. During my recent visit, I asked the sales consultant at the front desk if I needed to renew or extend my items. She informed me that only my ID number was required and that I did not need any additional forms. I provided my ID number and clearly requested to renew all of my items as I was going away.

However, when I returned to collect my item, I found it on the shelf for sale. The manager explained that he could only return my items at a discounted price, which was unacceptable. If the store intended to follow a specific policy requiring extension forms or documentation, I should have been informed of this during my initial interaction, rather than just being asked for my ID number.

I kindly request that my items be returned to me in their original condition or as agreed upon. I also hope for more transparency in the future regarding the required procedures for renewing or extending pawned items.

Cash Crusaders Returned stove

I bought a Defy stove for R2499 on the 28th of December 2024, picked it up on the 29th of December and returned it of 30th of December for the following reasons:
1. There was a misunderstanding on the 6-month warranty, I thought the stove had a separate factory warranty of 2 years.

At first, I wanted to exchange for a lay-by of a new 4 plate from the shop, but I was told that was not possible. After a lot of disputes between me, my father and the Store Manager, we decided we needed a refund for the stove so we can be able to purchase a new stove somewhere else where we going to be granted a 2-year warranty for the stove. The store manager indicated that this was also not allowed, but I could not understand why as the stove had not been used and was returned on the next day and within 7 days.
the manager advised that he was going to take the issue up to his superiors, I left the stove at the store. When I came back on the 2nd of Jan 2025, I did not receive any positive outcome.

Claimed loss: when I returned the stove, I had to wait for about an hour to be attended to, furthermore I was in the shop for over 2 hours as they needed to attend to other customers as well. (This can be verified through the shop cameras).

Desired outcome: Refund for the stove which is currently with Cash Crusaders.

As a cash crusaders customer, I loaned my laptop and payed my loan a week before it due but the problem was I got my laptop back with a battery problem yesterday I went back to notice the store (china mall breach in durban), they told me it was not they problem even spoke to the manager, she told me she could not help me. Cash Crusaders Fan

I bought a fan that was coasting 550 rand at cash crusaders entrance 3 Boardwalk. It came in pieces and I had to assemble it. I used the manual to do so and I was successful. But over some time or a day the fan would start to bend and not stand straight. Tried fixing it before I could return it, but with time it would bend again. Now I went back for exchange and they refused. The fan was still as New. I decided that they can have the fan because I am not going to take problems to my place, then one of the guys suggested that I rather sell it. And they gave me 240 out of 550.

Claimed loss: About 330 I lost not including my transport money

Desired outcome: I went there for an exchange not refund, but now I would appreciate if I can get my full amount.

Cash Crusaders Unprofessional service delivery

I visited Cash Crusaders at Northcliff Piaza on the 13-10-2024 where I wanted to purchase a Dixon Portable Bluetooth Speaker that was priced at R299. After product testing a cashier with the name of Thandiso assisted me with payment when it rang at R399 when I kindly approached her and trying to explain to her that consumer law states it been given to me at advertised price she had a very rude, unprofessional attitude with me and when I asked to see the manager to walked away. Another employee assited me in directing me to the manager who avoided me at all cost and kept me waiting outside the shop for approximately 45 min
