Bad service
I bought a TV monitor to use with my laptop, but after purchasing it, I realized that the color display wasn't perfect. Despite my efforts, I couldn't get the ideal picture quality. I returned to the store and requested to exchange it for a proper PC monitor instead of a refund. However, the staff became rude and uncooperative. I asked to speak to the team leader, Martha, but she refused to listen to my concerns and told me she couldn't assist me. She then instructed the staff to call the store owner, but I still wasn't allowed to speak with him. Instead, I was told to come back on Monday, May 26, 2025. When I returned on Monday, the store owner was absent, and Martha claimed she had nothing to discuss with me, despite the owner's instructions to her to assist me. Fortunately, another staff member, Kedi, who was working at the till, listened to me and called the store owner, ensuring that a solution was found. I had to spend extra on Uber fares on both May 24 and May 26, traveling back and forth to the store. The treatment and service I received left me feeling devastated and saddened.

I have selected to sell my TV a brand. New hisense smart TV model number is 32A4K 32 inch. And I did my homework before selecting the store and I checked brand new price for the TV and I further went on and checked cash crusaders selling prices as well I discovered my TV brand new is selling for R3299. 90 and second hand value is R2300. 00 and R2500. 00 on some stores I worked with those amounts and discovered atleast I can get R1600 to R1800 the most.
I then went on selected the store of my choice which is blue downs cash crusaders and the agent with my assumptions they did not care as I had provided them with an order number on WhatsApp she or He then offered me 600 to 720 the most I debated this and they came back and informed that they have looked at the wrong model how convenient had I agreed they would have ripped me off buying less and selling for more. I am. Not happy with this and how many customers are being ripped off because they maybe desperate and sell their belongings for so. Little the name of the agent I will. Need help to get my refund
Hi, I bought a laptop at Cash Crusader's of which I am not expose the store but it's located in Johannesburg on the 26 when I got to my place I connected to 5G rain router so it just kept shutting down every time I tried to connect it which is frustrating, I then complained to my sister she offered to give me a laptop, so the next day on 27 I returned laptop of which the store has taken back and I've not received my refund yet, they confirmed everything as whether not tempered with on laptop, they gave me a Whatsapp number of which they never responded to my messages so I had to go in the 9 of June Sunday, they told me that I have to wait as the store didn't approve my refund and that they had found a buyer whom will buy laptop on fought night and they will transfer the money to me, I smell fraud the lady couldn't look in my eyes she kept talking didn't mainten eye contact and I have a video to prove her words and action please help me get my refund

No consumer act following
Going to take cash crusaders table bay to ombudsman due to apparently not needing to follow consumer act. Bought 2 phones and they are slow,low storage without many apps installed. We are unable to install a security app, poor quality phone, it does if support my needs of someone who just needs what's app and one security app and I should have know by the name doogee (dodgy) and I was told they don't follow the consumer act and not interested as phone was switched on. Wait for it I will do everything in my power to make sure the branch fails and people get to know the cheap [censored] products you sell.
Recommendation: Never gonna make sure you loose business.
Rude owner that has a nerve to even swear at a customer
Dobsonville cash crusaders is absolutely rubbish. They treat people like nonsense, and the owner is very rude! I mean I have been to many cash crusaders and never been told that I can't wear a cap or sunglasses in the store.
They have many cameras but yet they tell you the reason is "Security reasons". I mean what kind of security hazard is wearing a cap, binie or sunglasses? They don't even search for firearms or weapons when entering the store, but for safety they are worried about a cap?
And it's like they choose who they tell that nonsense to, as some customers will be wearing them and continuing whilst they demand you to remove yours!
NONSENSE and I want their head office number to take this further

I bought 2 hybrid 15" speakers 340w saperatly, one was bought in March 2025, and the second in May 2025. I only use them once and one of the speakers burnt. I did lodge a complaint with branch in kimberley new park where I bought them, I only was told on that time that the speakers doesn't have any guarantee, of which is not right, cause this is new speakers with a tough price. Service
I went to cash crusaders in vincent east london, on the 17th april 2025 to buy an iphone x, after the sales person assisted me in setting up and uploaded the apps. Out of the blue he brought me iphone xr and convienced me to buy the xr instead, it took him some conviencing, explaining that the xr has better features that the iphone x. I ended up buying the xr the following day the phone started to give me problems, that is it pressing its self, if I press it, it did not allow me to, but the apps were just moving around on the phone's screen. This happened about after few hours the following and the following days it did the same. This minute its working the next is doing the same problem. I decided to return it on the 22nd april 2025. The sales person came with many assumptions from maybe its the screen protector. He eventually told me that the manager will send it for repairs for a few days to a week, to check if the reason for malfunction is from my actions or manufactures fault. Then I told them its not possible for me not to have a phone even if a day. But they said there is nothing that they can do.
I asked them to exchange the phone anothet phone they said its not allowed and they cant refund me as it is against their policy.

Bad service from management and staff
I was interested to purchase a watch CHRISTOPHE DUCHAMP watch. I been waiting for payment details however the sells person Ntuma was just stalling. I contacted this person on facebook. We started chatting on whatsapp. After I proposed a different price and they agreed I didnt hear back from Ntuma for banking details. I then went to facebook to tell Ntuma I want to pay for the watch and she is not reponding.
I could not wait any longer I called the shop. I was put through to the manager. I was really upset as this is an ongoing thing I have with cash crusaders. They are always reeling in many customers and then selling to the highest bidder.
Ridiculous! An agreement was reached and then this salesperson started sending the item to different buyers.
I asked the manager for the companies email address and he refused to give it. He cut the call. I kept calling. NO one answers anymore.

I bought this Tablet a few hours ago and it keeps asking me log into my email account but does not go through to a menu or anything that is accessible (apps). It just keeps going back to the setup screen. I have confirmed my email on another device many many many times to no avail.
After returning to the store where I bought it they just told me to go back tomorrow with my other devices to try and sort it.
If a person purchases something brand new, you expect it to work and not to have to go back to the store to try and get it to work.

I bought iPhone 11 pro max at cash crusades Chris Hani Mall, when I tried to create iCloud, the phone asked for security code and I tried a code for several times, and it blocked me because the code was wrong. I went to the store and the refused to help me. I haven't used the phone but now it is blocked. Faulty TV upon collection from Cash Crusaders.
I took my TV (55') to Cash Crusaders yesterday, 17th Feb 25 and today upon collection, one day later, I unwrap my product, plug it in and my TV no longer works. This is completely unacceptable service. They take interest on my product and have the audacity to let me bring this big TV home and it does not work after 1 day of being in the buy shop. Words cannot start to describe how furious I am because I fetched my TV and just expected it to work, now tomorrow I need to take another day off where I had to put together money out of nowhere to fetch my TV and this is the service I receive. In the past they have also damaged a fridge of mine in storage so this is not a first experience for the Cash Crusaders in Parow Centre Mall.

I am writing to formally address an issue regarding the renewal of my pawned items. During my recent visit, I asked the sales consultant at the front desk if I needed to renew or extend my items. She informed me that only my ID number was required and that I did not need any additional forms. I provided my ID number and clearly requested to renew all of my items as I was going away.
However, when I returned to collect my item, I found it on the shelf for sale. The manager explained that he could only return my items at a discounted price, which was unacceptable. If the store intended to follow a specific policy requiring extension forms or documentation, I should have been informed of this during my initial interaction, rather than just being asked for my ID number.

I bought fridge last week, it was an online purchase, I selected pick up options because I stay far from the shop Albertina Sisulu cash crusaders, on Monday I call the shop to ask when will my fridge be ready for collection, they said they do not know anything about the fridge, I provided the email I received after purchasing and the proof of payment. Took my product to Cash Crusaders in Sep 2024, phoned the Hartbeespoort shop to put a hold on my item as it was due. I paid my 1st extension on the 17th of October 2024. 30 days later, I went to make another payment, and was informed that my item was sold. According ro the transaction history, the hold was not on the system, and the repayment date was not changed, thus the item was sold. Bradley (manager) said the owner was off for the weekend, and he will sort it out the Monday. When I went on the Tuesday, the owner said Bradley had not mentioned anyrhing to him, but is on leave. The owner had a look at the transaction. I asked if the hold was on the system and he said no, but he gave me the curtesy of extension. I then asked, so why the repayment date changed, He Replied - THE REPAYMENT DATE DEFAULTS BACK TO 1ST TRANSACTION DATE, AND PRINTED OUT AN EXTENSION ADDENDUM. I HAD NEVER RECIEVED THIS OR SIGNED FOR THIS ADDENDUM. the owner rudely got up, told me he is tierd of explaining, and if I have a problem, I can complain at Head Office. The owner of the Cash Crusaders sold my item, updted a leagal documenf, without my knowledge, and then screamed at me till I left. He is rude, does not follow he own procedures, and fraudulantly updates customer transactions without their knowledge, all this instead of correcting or repayment for a mistake they made.

Returned stove
I bought a Defy stove for R2499 on the 28th of December 2024, picked it up on the 29th of December and returned it of 30th of December for the following reasons:
1. There was a misunderstanding on the 6-month warranty, I thought the stove had a separate factory warranty of 2 years.
At first, I wanted to exchange for a lay-by of a new 4 plate from the shop, but I was told that was not possible. After a lot of disputes between me, my father and the Store Manager, we decided we needed a refund for the stove so we can be able to purchase a new stove somewhere else where we going to be granted a 2-year warranty for the stove. The store manager indicated that this was also not allowed, but I could not understand why as the stove had not been used and was returned on the next day and within 7 days.
the manager advised that he was going to take the issue up to his superiors, I left the stove at the store. When I came back on the 2nd of Jan 2025, I did not receive any positive outcome.
Claimed loss: when I returned the stove, I had to wait for about an hour to be attended to, furthermore I was in the shop for over 2 hours as they needed to attend to other customers as well. (This can be verified through the shop cameras).

Because you only bought the Xbox two days ago, it is obvious that you are entitled to claim a refund or a swap since the device is faulty. You should not be given a buyback offer instead. Fan
I bought a fan that was coasting 550 rand at cash crusaders entrance 3 Boardwalk. It came in pieces and I had to assemble it. I used the manual to do so and I was successful. But over some time or a day the fan would start to bend and not stand straight. Tried fixing it before I could return it, but with time it would bend again. Now I went back for exchange and they refused. The fan was still as New. I decided that they can have the fan because I am not going to take problems to my place, then one of the guys suggested that I rather sell it. And they gave me 240 out of 550.

I visited Cash Crusaders at Northcliff Piaza on the 13-10-2024 where I wanted to purchase a Dixon Portable Bluetooth Speaker that was priced at R299. After product testing a cashier with the name of Thandiso assisted me with payment when it rang at R399 when I kindly approached her and trying to explain to her that consumer law states it been given to me at advertised price she had a very rude, unprofessional attitude with me and when I asked to see the manager to walked away. I bought an iPhone 7 plus at cash crusader Centurion mall on the 29th of August 2024.
A day later I noticed the phone back camera was blurry on far objects which we didn't test at the store we only check if the camera was working,I went back to the store to return the phone but the service I got from them was bad I was told I was lying about the condition of the phone and it working just fine when I bought it and one of the employees tried to convince me that's how an iPhone works on far objects it's blurry and clear of close up which I disagreed on which was resolved when the manager came in to diffuse the situation and agreed to take phone to repair and I was told waiting period is 26 I will receive a message to come and collect it which ever happened.I took it upon myself to call the store on the 30th of September 2924 to ask if the phone was back and they confirmed it was back but I should wait for a call from them.Today on the 7th of October 2024 I decided to go straight to store and hear what is happening I got there I was told the phone is back and fixed it was checked by one of the employees and she confirmed it is fine and gave it to me to check it and noticed the home button was not working but the camera was fixed and I then told them about it and I was told to wait for 30 minutes they will get it fixed which I was not happy about because they had the phone with them for a month and they were unable to see it an I ended up waiting for an hour. I asked to lay a complaint to the manager and she told me she wasn't aware of the situation because there is new management ,I then asked for a refund because at this stage I don't trust if the phone is going to perform as well as it should but I was told they do not do refunds unless the phone is not functioning well

My laptop was released and sold without my consent due to failure of the company (cash crusaders) system... I was made aware when I tried to extend my loan term with another month..
