Cash Crusaders Bad customer service

I've bought a microwave from Cash crusaders Kempton Park the microwave hardly lasted a month and stopped working.i had to return it whereby Mr Andile explained that a technician would fix it but if it can't be fixed they would exchange or refund us. My husband was contacted to collect the microwave upon arrival they informed him that he should choose another microwave he did so when he brought it home I told him the buttons 4to 0 doesn't press he said we must manage it for the meantime it then made a bang sound never worked again. My son then took it back to the store he stood there for about 15 minutes with no one helping him my husband had to contact someone he knows there to assist. Whilst assisting him they started body shaming him about his weight making a mockery of him. My son is until now traumatized because of the experience. I contacted Mr Andile and told him to please refund me because he initially said he would because I keep spending money up and down for another broken microwave. He said he would do what he can. All of a sudden I get phoned by Abraham telling me that I must wait until my microwave is repaired. I told him my situation and that I don't want anything to do with the shop again he made me hold the phone now I'm speaking to Thando. From pillar to post no assistance. I then phone head office and was given a email address to send to Elijah until now nothing no assistance. I'm disgusted and dissatisfied with the service of cash crusaders Kempton Park. ⁸Also my initial receipt they took it and gave us another receipt then wrote on it that it's 6 month repairs my first receipt didn't have that.

Desired outcome: I want to be refunded for my microwave and my son needs an apology

Cash Crusaders Hybrid mixer

My mixer was stolen and used as the security for the loan amount of R500. When I found out about this I went to the store and the manager told me that they have sell it yesterday 02/08/2023.

I told her it belongs to me and I need it she said there is nothing that she can do as they have sold it already.

I told her it is the store responsibility to make sure that the item belongs to the person and they have failed to do that. Hence I am asking it from them as they are the ones who sold my mixer. It was stolen I found it in them and they have campt something that is stolen to them and sell it for that I will take legal actions and the manager said go on

Desired outcome: To pay it back as they have sold it without my consent

Cash Crusaders Pawning a printer

Online and on the instore posters they state that you can sell pawn or borrow money against anything of value or unwanted items or secondhand items when you need extra cash. Yet when I went to borrow money against a canon 4in printer they wouldn't accept it as they say it is a low cost item and if I pawn it I might not come back for the item. Yet that is false advertising as my item was second hand yet still recently new and yet it has value even if it is not worth thousands of rands. I was disgusted as I am a regular customer of this branch for years me and my late stepdad used to buy alot of stuff and also sell unwanted items to them yet the service is unacceptable. And I am also not the only customer complaining about this . I spoke to the sales rep the store manager the area manager Khaled and to the operations manager of cash crusaders Durban with no help they told me I can do whst i want . Each store have their own policy of buying items and there's nothing I can do about it but accept it. I am very dissapointed in this kind of service and their false advertising

Desired outcome: I would like a formal apology and fir them to back up what they state in their ads and their advertising and they way they treat customers

Cash Crusaders Pathetic customer service and the dishonesty between a client and employee of cash crusaders.

I have a complaint against cash crusaders because of the following. I pawned my cellphone to cash crusaders for some cash. I had a personal issue on Saturday (29/07/2023). I was a day late for payment already and before I could leave town, I phoned cash crusaders to speck to the store manager and I spoke to him to hold the phone for me till Monday the 31/07/2023 because I had personal issue which required me to leave town for a while. Which I agreed to pay the interest on my cellphone for another month. The manager agreed to hold the phone for me till Monday the 31/07/2023. On the 31/07/2023 I went to the Ladysmith cash crusaders to pay the interest I owed on my cellphone but when I arrived there the lady at the till point told me that the cellphone was on the floor. I then rushed to the store manager as I was concerned and upset because I did make an arrangement with the store manager. When I spoke to the manager, he denied having a phone call with me and denied make an arrangement with me to hold the cellphone for me till Monday 31/07/2023. I then asked the store manager for the head office contact number, and he ignored me, turning his back towards me. I spoke to the other lady sitting there for the head office contact number, but she denied me and responded with an attitude. Her response was as follows " No I don't want to give it to u! " Which was very disrespectful and humiliating. The cellphone I pawned is on contract and can't be sold. this is not the first-time cash crusaders have done this to me as I have lost my computer system because I went on the word of the store manager. this is not fair on the customer as we work hard to buy these things and in times of desperation cash crusaders steal from us for being a few days late. If this isn't resolved in 2 working days, I will be forced to take this up with local newspapers and if I have national as well.

Desired outcome: I want cash crusaders to keep their word and stop stealing.

Cash Crusaders I pawned items for safety reasons and one of items was sold and told them to give money they dont want.

I'm the founder of IKN Trust Funds and it's subsidiary Mokonko Entertainment, we buy sound equipment and we hire out for income, so other items that are for Mokonko Entertainment.

Due to safety reasons we pawned so new equipment at Cash Crusaders Carlton Centre on 29 December 2023, from there i was extending the contract on the monthly basis but after 5 month i re-pawn.

I went for re-pawn on 18th January 2023 i found out that one of my items were sold by store, i was promised new item which worth less than my items, i gave the invoice but they never respond to my invoice.

I tried to attach the contract but is not supported.

Desired outcome: To pay my money i dont want their items.

Cash Crusaders Tablet

I bought a 10.1 inch 11andriod dixon tablet in january of this year.. Son took it to school..3rd day off school.. The top rigth side off the screen cracked.. I took it back to ask for repairs on tablet.. Till today the phone has being repaired as there is no parts for it.. My concern is then.. Cash crusaders is the only manufacturers off dixon brand.. How come there is no parts.. As I dont want the money back I paid for it.. Just repair or new tablet as my son is using for school purposes.. Shop is n3 alberton city mall opposite wimpy.. Please assist in this matter

Cash Crusaders Siva govender manager at workshop : bad customer service and corruption

On Wednesday 19th July 2023 I Went To Cash Crusaders ,Work Shop, Durban Central .. I Sold My Blue X93 Doogee Phone For R600 .. I Went To Purchase An Android Phone . The Product Was A Figi Note Octa Core Android Phone Marked At R2199.00 Under The Brand New Goods .It Had A Brand New Product Shelf Tag. The Person ,Staff Member Who Was Initially Assisting Me Was A You Fair African Man With Dreadlocks ... He Went To Get Me A New Sealed Figi Note 1 ..so when Going To The Till the New Phone Was Scanned .The Cashier Told Me That The Cost Is R2400.00 So I Said "but This Phone Was Marked R2200 on the Shelf .. so She Said Sorry And Remained Quiet Expextin Me To Pay R2400. I went To Speak To The Manager Siva Govender . He Explained that the product is R2400 Because It Is New Stock And Its A Different Colour .. He Said I Must Take The Last Blue Phone On Display.. After Inspecting Theblue Figi I Noticed That It Was Damaged With A Gash on The Bottom of the phone .. I Took The Phone To Siva Gover and i Asked Him sell me The new phone Since His Shelf Talker said Brand New He Refused.. I really needed a phone so I asked him to reduced the price.. He Said Yes by less R100 But I Won't Have A Warranty On The Phone. I Said That's OK.. He Tried Switching The Phone On And It Did Not Switch On .. I told him the phone is stone dead .. so he begun to try and find the charger which was missing from its old torn up box.. this entire process was taking far too long and my luck break time had lapsed.so I told The Manager Siva Govender That I'm Late And Need To Get Back To Work.. He Ignored me and Waited 5 to 10 full minutes for the phone to switch on.. I really liked this particular model because it was an affordable Android that Has An Octa Core Chip So Dispite All This I Really Wanted this Phone model . Before paying at the Till I wanted to Insert my Sim to test the network .. but nobody was assisting me to insert my Sim card . I tried to open the phone by its back cover it opened easily But Got Abit Stuck .. I tried To See Wad Was Wronge And I Realised That parts of the phone fell out like side buttons.. so I Again Went Back To Siva To Show Him WhT Had Happened.. He Behaved Very Rudely With Me And Said That i Broke the phone and Insulted Me for not knowing that The Phone Required A Pin To Open A Sim Tray .. Nobody Informed Me Of This .. Nobody Handed me A Pin to open The Tray Nobody Assited A person Who Was Allready Very Late For Work..The Manager Siva Govender Then Explained That I Am Liable To Pay For The Damaged Phone .. I Refused As I Had Received Unfair And Unprofessional Treatment The Manager Siva Govender Called For Security To Assault Me In Fear I Left The Store.. I Returned Moments Later To Get My ID Card From The Store Cashier But She Had Given My ID Card To The Manger Siva Govender . I Asked Begged And Pleaded Siva Govender For My ID Card

He Again Treated Me Like A Criminal and called for Security ..So I Fled The Workshop Again .. I Went Back To Work And Had To Explain To Management Why I Was late.. Never Has A Store Treated Me Like A Criminal Before I Am Afraid Of Siva Govender As He Seems To Be A Very Unfriendly ,Difficult ,Cunning And Shrewd Sales Person .. According To The POPPY Act He Can Not Keep My ID Card..My Name Is Mohammad Hamza Raza Sayid I'd No : [protected] Please Assist Me Cash Crusaders.

Cash Crusaders Service and bad deal.

I had month to month contract with cash crusaders centurion mall. I went pay and collect my computer on the 26th of june 2023. I supposed to pick it up on the 23th of june 2023. It fell on the weekend. Forgot. The stock was not on the floor. The manager/owner refused to understand. Told too late. Did not received a courtesy message. Tried head office unsuccessful. Spoke to kyle pretoria. Was sympathetic. Said. They should have waited 7 days.. Philip massey. [protected]. I felt I been robbed. I put in for a small amount

Cash Crusaders Proline 14.1 Notebook

Good day

I purchased the above mentioned laptop at Louis Trichardt Cash Crusaders and it was working. On the 20th of June when my daughter tries to connect it only displayed proline on the screen and it went off. She put it on charger and shows proline brand and it went off again. I returned it to Louis Trichardt Cash crusaders on the 21st of June and they told me that they will take it for repair and they were going to contact me when they receive it back. Today 05.07.2023 I went to inquire and I was told by the manager that the motherboard is damaged and I was going to carry the cost for repair since it was a physical damage. He contacted the technician in my presence and he said that the cause of damage could be the charger/ it damaged motherboard during the process of charging or due to loadshedding. Please assist as I can’t pay for something that wasn’t caused by my use and it is not physically damaged.

Your urgent response in this regard is anticipated.

Cash Crusaders Service

Cash Crusaders Promenade, Mitchells Plain

Stood in the queue for almost 30 minutes only to find out that the wifi is not functional and that card payments could not be done.

Most of the people in the queue left the store.

I asked to speak to the manager and was told that Nicole Lawrance is not in the store.

Disappointed with the service.

Shows what they think of customers in MP...

Disgusted, to say the least!

Cash Crusaders A washing machine that I bought at empangeni branch

In Dec of last year I bought a defy washing machine and 5 months and 2 days this washing machine broke , and we were mis informed about the machine and because it was a new one on purchase , we called defy Durban and one of there technicians cam out almost a month later and they asked me to provide a slip and I did and then head office defy called me and I was told to take it back to cash crusaders where I bought it and they should take the correct steps and I did so , when I gave my machine to cash crusaders they told me it falls out of woranty because a defy agent order it and took photos , they told me it's a manufacturing fault as machines don't break like this and empangeni cash crusaders treated me badly and told me if I can two weeks earlier they could of helped me and because the guy from defy opened it they could also not help me , this machine was opened by head office defy KZN I don't see why cash crusaders can't re embers me as I support them so much and nothing was taken out or removed from the machine just pictures taken .. they kept my machine and my slip and have not returned this ..

Desired outcome: I would like this machine replaced as I look after my things and if I did not break it why must I go get another one

Cash Crusaders Fridge that I came to retrieve after loaning cash against it

The store is in Tlhabane Square in Rustenburg, Ok I'm really annoyed and not sure how to really go about his

Friday07/07/2023 I called the store and came physically as I had a situation with the bakkie to collect the fridge which the expiry date is the 13/07/2023and had to travel to Pretoria for funeral

So I spoke to Jan and explained myself(as I know it's not company policy to send someone to come collect on behalf of the original person who brought the item)he advised me to sign the receipt and send someone to come collect on my behalf

Yesterday my sister pays R250 to come collect the fridge and she was refused the fridge and was sent away 😡😡😡 Sunday I call to get clearity as to what happened I was told that Jan will call me back I'm bloody still waiting

Cash Crusaders Doogee N40 pro

I bought a new Doogee N40 PRO had the fone for 4 months when the charging board started giving problems didn't charge the fone properly I returned it for repairs at the branch was still under warranty didn't receive any feedback for almost 3 months had to walk up an down for nothing when I got a fone call from the repair agent telling me I must pay R512 payed it and got my fone back but because of poor repair an workmanship it only took 1 month an had the same problem an when I return the fone again the same bad service with no spons an tell me to pay R3 934.20 it's really disappointed

Desired outcome: Please refund me or replace my for fone it was still under warranty I had to pay a extra R1000 for a phone what is still not fixed I won't really appreciate your response an honesty and trust thank you

Cash Crusaders Acer laptop

Morning Cash crusaders My name is Arnold Ndhlebe and i run an electronics repair shop in Tshiame A. One of my Pastors came through with a laptop which was bought from one of your shops: Acer I3 laptop and since it was very very slow, he asked if I could look at it and see if I can get it to speed up. After a thourough diagnosis i found the following:- 1. Initially the laptop comes with a SSD hard drive but this one has a Sata hard drive 2. Since it uses its internal mounted memory ram, the ram itself is damaged and gives an error of badmemory 3. the laptop motherboard is also faulty as the cmos settings changes automatically. In short the laptop is not usable. Its possible the owner sold it as it is to your office and your staff couldnt see these problems. Since this man is a man of God who always engages with other Pastors, Prophets via video call and does most of his church work using the laptop, now its impossible to do either one of these. Im hoping that since its been a week or two since he bought the laptop, your office could please investigate the matter from your side and hopefully replace or exchange for him with a workable laptop. Cash Crusaders Asus laptop

Baught an asus laptop yesterday 15:30 from cash crusaders in ladysmith kzn
It refused to power down in store
Ive tried accesing the asus boot menu
But its not giving me the option of. asus its giving me toshiba instead
The staff in store dont respond
At all
They told me the pc. needs update its refusing to. factory reset
How do they sell anything that has not. got. original. stuff
Why is asus running on toshiba
I have asked every computer expert why it running on toshiba and even they say it should not be
Please I cant believe this is happening what happened to checking everything before buying from. anyone?

Cash Crusaders Unlawfully overcharged

Went in to do a pawn and when I could meet the date due due to illness , I called the manager of the store to advise that I will be a few days late. he obliged telephonically but when I get there to redeem my goods I am presented with a bill with a 30% mark up , No contract saying the charges can be applied to that degree , no communication , Disgusted . This was at the Southway Mall store in Durban. I have sent emails to customer care even the store owner but nobody has yet to respond. I got a call from customer care guy Ëlijah "He too has since ghosted me...Laid a formal complaint with the consumer bureau now and got Legalwise to act on my behalf. I can understand if additional charges were applied for the late days in accordance with my contract and agreement , NOT JUST RANDOMLY APPLY A 30% MARK UP TO INCREASE YOUR STORE GP ! Thats just absurd.

Cash Crusaders Product

On June 15/06/2023 I bought a 2-TB external hard drive with the purpose of storing my work. At the time I received it, the employee at the store showed me that the device was working it had some files inside. I believe they belonged to the prospective user. When I got home and tried to put in some files, it gave me some problems. I couldn't access the hard drive; it gave me an error message that said access denied or something else I don't remember exactly. On June 19, 2023, I took it back to the store. They made their checks and were trying to find out if I was the one who damaged the product or not. They saw that I did not open it or damage the product. they took 2hours doing the same thing over and over again, I asked for the manager, whose name is Lungelo The guys seem clueless; they told me it has a warranty of 6 months, but when I was returning it, it was a different story; they were talking about 2 months of warranty, which I also qualify for. in that time, there was an Indian guy who He said he was the store manager He manages different stores, including the one at Westwood Mall, but I bought this product at South Beach China Mall. He also took his time checking. It took them another 30 minutes, and they took the device from me. They went inside with his technician, who opened the device. Inside the device, there was a sticker that says that the device is 4 TB. They gave it to me, and the manager said they didn't put the sticker there, so it wasn't his problem. But by the time I bought this product, they had not opened it, and I didn't see it inside. I was also told not to open the product because if anything happens to it, they won't accept it. It's a very long story. I would like to be assisted on this matter, am just a long time client of this company and am very disappointed by the treatment I received at the store. The manager walked away from me while we were talking, not to mention the loss I have made by not having the storage up until now.

Desired outcome: I honestly wanted another device but refund will be the optimal outcome because I don't trust them anymore

Cash Crusaders Lindiwe mathebula

Good day,

I recently visited the Maponya branch to apply for a cellphone loan. When I arrived, I was asked about the cost of the cellphone. I explained that it was 7000. The representative informed me that she needed a proof of purchase for phones that cost more than 5000. I explained that I had bought it in Eastgate, but she insisted that I needed to go to MTN to get the proof. I explained that the MTN store at Maponya Mall couldn't provide the proof I needed. She argued with me, insisting that they could. I then told her that I had worked at MTN for 5 years and knew that the systems were not linked. She still claimed that they were and had a confrontational attitude. This was not the first time I had encountered issues with her. I asked her why she was always rude to customers, as I had witnessed her behavior towards other clients during my previous visits.

At that point, I checked the value of the phone and realized that it had depreciated to 4999. I mentioned that the phone's value was now below the required amount. In response, she shouted at me in Zulu, asking if I knew how to listen. She demanded the proof of purchase, disregarding the fact that the phone was now less than 5000. I reminded her that she had initially mentioned phones above 5000. She replied, "Listen, I want the proof of purchase. Get out of my store." I remained silent and left.

Desired outcome: she need to be seriously repremimanted this has been an on going suition and she feels she own cash crusders

Cash Crusaders Shocking service!

My mother went into the Maitland Cape Town branch on Wednesday 7th June to make a lay by on the Dixon washing machine.

Only to be told she can't lay by as they Don have space to store it!

Can some one please explain how do you advertise laybys when it's not possible?

How do you not care about loosing business and having staff with such disgusting attitudes?

PLEASE EXPLAIN.
