poorly treated cashier
Alright, long story short, I just got done with a major surgery. I had a c-section, as I ended up having a very traumatic labor and delivery. I am not completely healed, but I went back to work Saturday (12/21/19). Low and behold, I come back and am instantly told to start scrubbing chair/table legs. First, it wouldn't be such an issue if I wasn't at risk of harming myself and ripping open my incision from surgery; but for the sake of my job; I did it anyways because I have to support my newborn and myself. So yesterday, (12/22/19) I came into work, sicker than a dog. One of my managers KNEW of this, and there was no care shown at all. I was running back and forth to the bathroom vomiting and with diarrhea. I was getting dizzy headed and felt like I was going to collapse, and no care at all. I was taking orders at the register and serving food to customers; being ill like that. The strain of vomiting was causing my scar to pull and by the time I got to go home (got kept over almost half an hour), I was absolutely in tears and just laid in bed huddled over in pain. I could not stop vomiting long enough to call the store; so I had my mom call in for me today (12/23/19.) The person who answered the phone coped an attitude with my mom over me being ill, which is something I CAN NOT help, then hung up. Whatever I guess, right? I was going to have a doctors note. Go to the doctor today to find out, I have the stomach flu and am extremely contagious for up to 48 hours. Remember when I said I worked all day yesterday, and was taking orders and making food? Let's hope customers don't end up ill as well. Anyways, the doctor has put on my paper to excuse me from today and Tuesday as it is contagious. My mom has tried to call the store multiple times to tell them I'd be out again tomorrow; and would have a doctors note; and they're refusing to answer the phone. I love my job, I truly do. I like the business, and I have grown a close bond with some of my regular customers. What I don't like though, is being treated like a slave/dog; and being treated poorly over things I cannot help, like getting sick. I'm not bringing it to my own store managers attention because they brush any issue I have off like it's nothing. I'm so sick of being treated like I don't matter. A person should not have to dread their next day or work. I just want the situation handled. I am so tired. Thank you.

We ordered the 2 for 10$ meal deal 2 whoppers with cheese 2 fries & 2 drinks.
