A friend sent me e-gift card to purchase some items for the New Year and because I am unable to go to the store to purchase items due to an illness. When I opened my email and clicked on the gift card, I was immediately transferred to the official site of Amazon and told to redeem funds to account which, I found out shortly after, that I was banned for. The reason that they provided after numerous times of me asking was based on them violating their own policy.Several photos show packages left at wrong address, the driver not delivering package, constant complaints on delivery in this area. I haven't used this account since 2020 so, 2026 was the first time accessing it after all those years. They took my giftcard, been ignoring my messages even when I asked if I could have it shiipped to a locker for pickup. They then start rerouting messages after I asked them to refund the $150 back to the original senders account or send me a check and they have refused wither. It is now the end of January and I have not received anymore response and they still have my egiftcard.
Claimed loss: $150
Desired outcome: I would like a check sent to me or them to make a one-time allowance for me to use it since I cannot use their egiftcard anywhere else but, Amazon. I am not accountable for packages being misdelivered, lost or damaged.

I have provided them all the information, and they keep sending me an email telling me to get a WhatsAPP VALID number when they have a telephone number and email address to contact me at. Does anyone want to join me in a class action suit at this point because I think that Amazon has literally evolved into a company of thieves and criminals? There ae several legitimate complaints about them stealing people's e-giftcards and refusing to refund them although, they have banned their account for no valid reason. They are deliberately stealing because they have involved in several lawsuits concerning unethical and dishonest business practices. I used to be employed there and they use to purchase items from clearance racks at Ross and other department stores and then mark the item up at regular price online on their site so, it is not surprising that they are stealing customer's gift cards and money. You would think that they would direct all the misguided wicked acts towards their reckless employees who, misdeliver, do not deliver at all or take a picture of the delivery and seconds after looking there is no package which probably means the driver stole it and took it home or actually delivered it somewhere else and then returned to pick it up after caller called package in missing. Unfortunately, Amazon is making their customers pay for their poor customer service. I received an email that I do not even believe is generated by a legitimate employee at Amazon. Sent her the information and she send me the same email asking for the same information to make it difficult for me to receive my $150.00 One way or the other, this will not turn out nice. My final expiration of trying to address this complaint will not extend beyond March 25.2026. I have been patient enough.
