I, Seema Chikkanna bearing an airtel connection # [protected] would like to inform you that the service now a days has drastically dropped. I have been using this connection since 8 yrs approx. Following are my concerns:
1.Payment updation- Even after the payment is being made the SMS is not received immediately. Its not updates for days together, But regular bugging messages from your end keeps coming to make the payments. When you can provide a receipt for a landline bill why not for a post paid?
2.Complaining the customer care- When one calls the customer care, they ask you for some receipt no after the payments. How a customer is supposed to give that when he has not received any SMS? Having complained to your so called your floor manager, she said she would be getting in touch with me, but never received a call back.
3.Billing not updated- My bill as on 18th Aug 08 was Rs. 763.00 and on 19th Aug 08 it was Rs.934.88. How is it possible that in just a days time my bill runs upto Rs.171.88?
4.Internet updation- My detail billing is not updated on the internet. How am I supposed to cross check?
5.Rude caller- There are few calls received by you people where the ladies are really rude. They are not even bothered listen to the customers. They have slamed the phone many a times..

Now, let me ask you this, will you be able to solve these problems, or should we look for any other option? Its really been frustrating and annoying with such sort of service. As the company is growing, looks like the service is getting really really pathetic. Pathetic is not the word!

i am a sudent of jansons school of business. karumathampatti, coimbatore. the company provides a very bad network. always the network is not at all constant it always comes and go. when i speak in phone for 5 minutes i have to call again and again. so i request company to provide with a good network

I have 2 airtel connections which have all of a sudden stoppped working in my residence.I have lodged a complaint with airtel customer care twice.The first was on 14 sept, which I was informed that would be solved by 22nd sept.
However till date I have not received an update.
When I called customer care again today they informed me that my complaint has been resolved yesterday which is not the case since till today morning i was not able to use my phone at my place.
When i informed him of the same, he stated it to be a handset error without checking anytthing.
On informing him that I have 2 handsets with airtel numbers which were nt working, another complaint was lodged which would now be resolved by 29th.That means another 10 days.
During this time Im expected to be disconnected from everybody while Im inside my house or infact in my locality.

Airtel India is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They continue to bill for months after I terminated the service. They bill incorrectly at least half of the time. The customer service representatives are useless - they can't do anything but lodge a complaint. The email system stinks - they may email back, but they never resolve the issues. I have had nothing at all good happen with this company. They have been absolutely the worst service provider of any kind that I have ever had to deal with. I am glad to be rid of them.

They seriously need to revamp their system to be more customer friendly. It's horrible.

I'm using cell no [protected] from past 5 years. its validity has expired on 21st of may 2008. Due to oversight it was not recharged up to Aug 19th. When we tried to recharge on Aug 20 it could not be re charged. Can I got my no. activated now? On inquiring customer care they have told it can be activated by taking anew sim card but nearest airtel offices are saying that they cannot activate.

The Airtel customer care is the worst which I have experienced so far. The line gets gets disconnected no. of times.If u have gud luck that day and you are able to connect somehow..you encounter inexperienced customer care executives who even do not how to spell e-mail address of customer care.

That's a pain and a sorry state of affair..

I hope this comment would help in improving the services ..

I am a pre paid user of airtel. My no. is [protected]. I got a call from airtel stating that is i recharge with Rs. 110 i will get 1 year validity and Rs 98 talktime, but i have not received so. I made 4 complains to the customer care but all in vein.

Airtel's Rs 99 GPRS plan for prepaid users offers 100 MB usage in daytime and 2 GB free usage at night (12 am to 8 am)

That free 2 GB from 12 to 8 am sounds nice except that it's not. Some random amount keeps getting charged --
1. the amount is not proportionate to your usage. 2. sometimes they charge, sometimes they don't.

Their customer care is nothing more than IVR. And IVR does not list an option to report this issue. Press 9 to talk to an executive and they'll ask you to sms airtel to 121. The sms of course leads you through the IVR again.

Emails quietly disappear into the Airtel blackhole -- forget a response, there's not even an acknowledgement of receiving any email.

Try their nodal officer. Another blackhole.

Instead of wasting time and money in getting the issues resolved, it's a lot cheaper to just stop using the sim card once your talktime expires.

I regret moving from Vodafone to Airtel. At least in Vodafone, if you have a problem, you can report it, get prompt response and get it resolved too. Big regret!

Hi,
Iam using Airtel from 6 months..it has good network and very gud customer care response..but yesterday i called to custcare one issue relating to my Tariff Validity...they have ended the call abrupty...and it was happened for me 5 times yesterday...after that iam not able to reach custcare only...i think they kept a limt on number of calls...
It is realy hurtng when custcare ends the call abruptly..whom to blame and whom to Question...Iam posting it with a hope of taking issue infront of them.so that it will not repeat in future...

Please check this and do the needful.

the worst ever customer care..not able to rectify my problems from past two months and give false promises..they have blocked my number also so that i cannot call the customer care..even the manager over there cannot do anything..his name is ganesh..they take 24 hours of time and never respond..it been 2 months i am facing a problem..

Hi This is Kumar my [protected] when we are calling Airtel Prepaid customer care number 121 this people are charging for us, apart from this network nobody is charging for a customer care number i tried in all network even i tried in Airtel Postpaid customer care number 121 only in prepaid they charging and customer care executive people are talking like rowdies.

reg:wrong balance deduction
My airtel prepaid no is [protected]
I have taken this sim 20 days before since then i am facing various problems regarding std and local tariffs, net balance and call summary. None of the above mentioned stuff is working properly which results in unwanted balance deduction. I have contacted customer care many times, also registered complaint against all of above but none of your representatives is bothered to pay any heed to it. They are saying that they will refund the money back but nothing has been done till now.

i have made several complaint in regarding with my AIRTEL broadband connection bill, where my dsl id is terminated on the month of 9th March and their is NO CONNECTION TILL NOW 29-04-2012. NO actions were taken till now instead they call and disturb me every day and they have filed me a legal case. Their is no proper record in your server. Some representative executive tells me i don't have to pay the bill because of the error on the other hand the billing team ask me only this when are you going to pay the bill and they don't try to understand my problem. Adjustment of bill was to be made from 25th of February to 25th of March instead of resolving my problem they provided me a new bill 25th March to 25th April (still no connection) saying that i have to pay the outstanding. Please help me resolve my problem.

I have complaints against Airtel Customer Care and really Got frustrated from Airtel customer care service, Neither they listen complaints and many times i have faced problem of deduction of money without my knowledge. And no a single person from customer care behaved genuinely. always behave badly n disconnect my phone most of the time. and now i am going to close my airtel no and will never come back to airtel in future.

Do you know how is it doing so ? What is the secret?
One more question.
Do you know how many Value Added Services(VAS) are fixed on your mobile number by mobile company with or without your
consent ?
Airtel Mobile company is fixing/applying unwanted VAS on your mobiles & you may or may not know.
This is one of the secrets of above question.
In a conversation with an Airtel executive he told that customers request themselves to get these VAS & Airtel company does

not do so.Have you ever requested the company for these VAS or not?

Many customers including senior citizens visit my shop daily to get their mobile recharged. They have been always

complaining about deductions by the mobile companies. Among all of these I found a customer (Age 70 Years) of

Airtel on whose mobile Airtel Company has applied a record number of SIX VAS such as Facts 55382, Job Alerts,

Airtel Call Manager, Karwa Chauth Pack, Kareena Kapoor, All Cricket Pack.
Airtel company has been deducting a huge amount from his credit balance every month mercilessly. ( For proof I

have images of his screen) Now there is one more customer on whose mobile company has applied Seven Schemes.

* Suppose for example you or any of your friend/known have an Airtel mobile connection.
You can check it like this.

1. Send ' LAST' to 121
(HAVE YOU SENT)...OKAY
You will get back a message of last 5 deductions made by Airtel, made with or without your
consent.
These days Airtel is deducting Re. One per day per scheme in general. You will be astonished
that these deductions are made early in the morning.
You do try this message every week to save your money from such company.

Now if you want to stop these schemes follow these steps.
1. Send ' STOP' to 121
(HAVE YOU SENT)...OKAY
You will get back a message like this if their is a VAS on you mobile.
"The following services are active on your mobile. To reply type the serial number of the service that you wish to

'STOP'
1...
2...
3...
4...
5...
6...& so on

You can know from above message that how many VAS are applied on your mobile by the company. If you want to STOP

these services then follow the steps.

In Haryana Airtel has launched a scheme of Full Talk Value. Get 110 with a recharge of 110 & your call rates will change to

1.2 paisa/second. Think suppose your scheme is one paisa/second at present then it will be changed to 1.2 paisa/second.

Company is giving benefit of Service tax @ 10% But your call rates are increased to 20%. Hai na Airtel ka Kamaal. What is

going on in your State by Airtel, keep check, Jago Grahak Jago. ?

In Haryana Airtel has launched a new scheme that on recharge of Rs.8 customer will get full talk value in topup
of Rs. 20, Rs. 30, Rs. 50, Rs. 100 etc. till one year & your call rates will be changed to 1.5 paisa per second.
Just think suppose at present your call rates are one paisa per second after this scheme your call rates will
increase to 1.5 paisa per second. Company is giving benefit of Service tax @ 10% But your call rates are increased to 50%.

i also insert the airtel sim at first but this service is not activated automatically. I complain this in customar care many time and then this is activated only for one month (27th march to 27th april ) and then automatic deactivated

You can see the way Airtel company delays. Its executive replied that they are not having your other contact number. He is a big lier. As a retailer i know that at the time of activation Airtel company gets your alternate number. It is just to delay the matters. You are requested to wait otherwise try to port from Airtel to other company.

Dear sir,
TO the area manager,
Reg: Wrong balance deduction
Apropos above I have to inform you that you have wrongly twice deducted Rs.25 & Rs.5 from my a/c while your customer care department have been repeatedly replying to my" STOP" message that no service is active on my number. Please explain & immediately refund Rs.30( to this number [protected] ) wrongly deducted by you else i shall complain to consumer forum & port my number to other network along with 6 other airtel number of my family member. Your early compliance in this regard is highly solicited.

the same experience which i have faced last 2 weeks..airtel is really fraud..they cheating poor customers with their cheap ideas...customer service is very worst...!
