I went to Walmart Vision Center in Charlotte NC, had my eyes examined for perscription lens. I chose the Caribbean Sun frames. The cost was over $250.00 After 1 month the ear piece fell off. We were out of the country and could not return the glasses within the 90 day warrenty. Shortly after 90 days Walmart Vision Center refused to back their product. Next I decided to try to get new frames for the broken glasses. I found the Caribbean Sun website with no contact info. It seems that this product is made in China which is known for poor quality. I have also been to other vision centers and haven't been able to find a frame that my lens will fit. It seems that I will have to eat the loss.

I disagree, I bought a Caribbean Sun frame from Wal Mart to use as prescription sunglasses. Over 2 years, and constant abuse, frequent droppings, lens poping out, and metal is finally peeling off the high wear zones the sunglasses still keep on working. The frame to me is perfect, everything I'd want in a pair of sunglasses.
I'm considering going to walmart to purchase another pair because in my opinion it is a high quality product, especially for the price, at 150$ for polarized, prescription sunglases there is hardly any wrong. Less then 75$ a year, less then 5$ a day, these sunglasses more then made up.
Also, at doing the math I am quite surprised that it is roughly 5$/day payoff for a purchase of 150$. Would've thought it'd be much less.
i bought caribbean sun polarized sunglasses for $ 79.95 after a little over 2 mounts the right lense cracked.when i went back to walmart they told me to connect caribbean sun for a new lense.i have been trying for 3 weeks with no result.there is no way to get in touch with the co.
Fully agree with Richard H and robbie, and can't understand alterior's response. Alterior, when the lens falls out, that's a bad product, and it's largely the frame's fault, not the lens'. Also, lacking a website (now can't even find it), and or having no contact information is suspicious. I wish I'd read Richard H's complaint before I got mine, which have been unable to maintain the ear-spacing (weak nose-bridge keeps allowing the frames to bend and twist), dropped a lens (and when you're wearing them, that can be a hazard; and it happened to me), and are so darn flimsy they twist and lose shape even when very gently handled. I will not use or recommend Caribbean Sun.

My lens fell out...glass so shattered. Emailed got no response. Finally found a number and called. Got a call back...said for me to download and fill out form to submit. Would take approx. 6 weeks to get a lens. I explained I didn't keep back up sunglasses...it's summer...6 weeks is nuts. I was hoping to order and pay now...get lens shipped...no such luck. Online now looking for sunglasses...came across this and had to chime in. Good glasses, but good luck if anything goes wrong! Nonexistent customer service / parts ordering.
As far as the eye protection of these glasses they are the best I have ever owned. Unfortunately they were stepped on and all broken. Can't find another pair of Edisto.
