Walgreens review: Disrespectful cashier

I’m honestly shocked by the way I was treated by Courtney, the cashier at the Walgreens on the 31W Bypass. She was rude from the start and had a nasty attitude for absolutely no reason.

At one point, she told me, “I work here, you don’t.” I told her that she had a nasty attitude, and instead of correcting herself or simply treating me with respect, she said, “So I’ve been told. If you don’t want the items, you can leave the store. I’ll be staying here.”

That response says a lot. Apparently, she already knows customers have complained about her attitude and doesn't seem to care. Telling a paying customer to leave the store because she doesn't like being called out for her behavior is completely unacceptable.

I shop at Walgreens to purchase items, not to be talked down to or disrespected by an employee. I hope management takes this seriously because customer service should involve basic respect and professionalism.
