Where to start? The location in Old Orchard Beach Maine, recently converted from a Rite Aid to a Walgreens. We expected issues with the transition and so forth and more very patient through that process.
I'm not sure when the actual date of the transition was however, by now they should probably have the bugs ironed out at the prescription counter. We've had nothing but trouble with every prescription that has transitioned from Rite Aid to Walgreens. Mini mini times were told that the prescription will be ready at A certain time and it is not. 1/2 hour or an hour has on occasion than 24 hours minimum. The staff is very rude probably the rudest staff I've encountered anywhere. I have already transitioned all of my medications to Express Scripts and will transition all of my wives medications to the same as soon as possible. We were even given prescription advice by the cashier regarding the difference between one antibiotic and the other, had it not been for the pharmacist who happened to be in the area and interjecting that that was completely false and apologizing somewhat half heartedly, we would've gotten the wrong medication.
I waited on the phone many times for at least five sometimes 10 minutes just to speak to someone at the pharmacy, sometimes longer. Only but to be told that a prescription that was called in in our presence at the doctors office had not been received. Another had and have been filled and the clerk insisted that that was the only one they had until I badgered him to ask the pharmacist if it had been called in instead of faxed them. He grudgingly said yes he had it and it would be ready in a half an hour and that was well over an hour ago.
Someone from home office or a training specialist needs to come to old Orchard Beach Maine and teach these people how to treat customers they don't even acknowledge you when you pull up outside and push the button. I guess were spoiled by the great customer service that Rite Aid always gave us for many years.
Again this is the worst customer service I've ever experienced with bad attitudes poor treatment poor scheduling poor service just absolutely pitiful all the way around. We will not continue to patronize the store.
