I have been going to this Walgreens since it was built many years ago. I don't file complaints but I feel this needs to be addressed. My dad has numerous prescriptions at this pharmacy. I did not want him to have them there because of a particular worker who manages to make me feel like I am a nuisance every time I interact with him. His name is David. He is always curt. He does not smile. He has a "what do ya want" attitude. His demeanor portrays a person who hates his job and hates people.
I dread seeing him in the drive thru because I am hoping I don't have to talk to him. Today I called the pharmacy to inquire about my dads prescriptions. I wanted to know if there were any ready. He was, as usual, curt on the phone. In one second after I asked (he barely let me finish talking) he said "no there are none here.) That was it. No inquiries to how he can help or what my concern was. I said "can u tell me why". He said the prescriptions are all ones that are expired but one and its not due yet. And still nothing helpful from him. Just silence. I said, well I will call his doctor then. He then said he can call the doctor and needs to know which ones. Here's the deal. I don't KNOW which ones. He has 6 or 7. Logically, could David have looked to see which ones were filled recently? I am tired of his rudeness. His inability to speak civilly to me. I am there to receive a service and service with respect and kindness. I do not deserve to be treated like I am a problem in his life because I am coming to where HE works wanting a service that HE is supposed to OFFER. I will be moving my dads prescriptions to Dierbergs where the people are kind and helpful and smile. And whom I can easily access by phone and not get a robovoice. Then once I DO get through, I have to deal with this guy!
