Walgreens Pharmacy

I have been with this pharmacy for several years. I had gotten most of my prescriptions filled by mail order because of the subpar service and would only send them my short notice meds that I needed quickly but they are not even capable of doing that anymore.
I'm now taking my business to a closer and private owner pharmacy that is attentive to and appreciates my business.
On more than one occasion this pharmacy has failed to fill prescriptions that were requested and then falsified their records to show that the script was filled when it wasn't.
Recently had two such episodes where in one I asked WHY the script wasn't filled and the tech told me it was too early-when I told her it was a brand new Ned I'd never gotten before she was brusk and said that's all they could do? I called my insurance and they said it had been put in for the first time THAT DAY! Another instance of the LIes And falsifying records: I recently had a procedure for which I was prescribed pain meds. I went to go pick them up and looked through the app and it said CANCELED -on the day it was prescribed. I kept checking back for three days and the medication was never filled. It continues to say canceled. Tired I was looking through my med list to give to my dr the meds I wanted sent to another pharmacy and I saw the message said it had been filled!
Calling the pharmacy again to ask about this, I was told-it was FILLED but it was put back after ten days. (This bring the tenth day). I explained the prescription was never filled as I had never received notification that it had and the app never showed it filled. The tech spoke over me and said it had been filled and no one picked it up! I want to say that I am chronically ill (lupus, CHF, neuropathy, dialysis) I use some very complicated and expensive meds at times (cellcept, insulin) and cannot continue to receive shoddy and incompetent service when it comes to filling my prescriptions (I was prescribed a hypertensive med 30 mg twice a day. Pharmacy CALLED me to confirm dosage and I explained it was 30 mg twice a day and the prescription was filled with a 60 mg pill!)

I am no longer using this pharmacy and will not recommend to anyone either. Get better staff that know what they're doing

Walgreens pharmacy service

Walgreens sucks. EVERY time i go there i wait in long lines even though i order my prescriptions in advance. This happened today in the Falmouth, MA location but it has happened the last 5 times as well. After waiting in line they dont have the presciption or something is missing or they only have a partial and i have to come back again

Walgreens Pharmacy

Walgreens pharmacy website and in-app are always inconsistent with each other as well as with the actual Walgreens system accessible to the pharm techs in-store. My prescriptions are always delayed without being resolved until I call the pharmacy myself (even though online it says the pharmacy will take care of it and call if anything is needed from me). I hate this stupid company and its TERRIBLE pharmacy service, but the monopoly they have on the market ensures my insurance isn't accepted anywhere else. I am at the point where I may just end up going off my prescriptions because dealing with their pharmacy is more frustrating than the anxiety I take antidepressants for. I hate this company and the capitalist grip it has on our economy.

Desired outcome: Hire more pharmacists so there isn't so much understaffing, drastically improve online prescription system

Walgreens Pharmacy

I pick up 12 prescriptions a month at Walgreens. I go to the one Kearsley drive in Sicklerville NJ . It's always a pleasure when Victoria is there but when she not the Chinese pharmacist is so horrible and nasty every time! Today I went there at 4:00 pm and the other pharmacist a tall white man in 30's with a beard who acts like he would rather be home then working. I told the young girl I needed 1 primatene mist inhaler since I ran out and I need it to survive. The girl asked him where it was and he tells her they no longer make that just get the tablets…… Really? Something that keeps me breathing you act like that. I said I bought it a month ago he said no way you probably forgot how long ago you got they stop making that a while ago. I went to CVS and bought it when I got home I looked it up on Walgreens site and said you do have the mist in stock. You truly have to nasty pharmacist there . I will switch all my scripts and shopping to CVS where they appreciate my business

Walgreens vanilla gift card

I purchased 2 gift cards from Walgreens, one for 150 and one for 500. I did not leave the parking lot before opening the card to check the balance. The cards were never activated. I spoke with the manager they said I have noting I can do . I was told to call the company with the gift cards . We called from the store and the gift card company said they do not have the money . which means that walgreens took the money. I will not just be stolen from and bullied by this store . I will keep going till /I get my money back.

Walgreens My local Walgreens called to tell me store will be closed and my Moderna booster appt cancelled.

This is 2021.. there is no excuse that a Walgreens has to close its store on a Friday. We seniors need our booster vaccines. I had appt and 5 min before closing night before the store calls to say they can't honor my appt due to being closed on that day. UNBELIEVABLE!
I tried to get booster a week ago and they were out of boosters. I am done w WALGREEN'S and I have been a customer for YEARS.

Desired outcome: Open and properly staff the store so we can have RELIABLE service.

Walgreens Photo

Around 5:00 p.m. on November 7, 2021 I went to Walgreens to get some pictures copied. One lady helped me get started with the scanning. She said scan them all and she would return to help "crop them." During the process I got into a screen that wanted to do a deal. I was afraid that I would lose what I already scanned so I went up to the check out and asked another lady. She was really short with me and I could tell that I was bothering her. Finally the first lady returned and showed me really fast how to crop one picture. I had scanned many 1950 photos so they were very small. I couldn't figure out how to enlarge it to make it look well on a 4 x 6. The lady I had bothered at the check out walked past me and gave me a long, don't bother me again look. I spent over an hour there scanning old photos. My parents passed away a few months ago and I wanted to make photos before giving them to my brother. No one would come back to help; its as though they ran and hid. I ended up leaving. So much for customer service.

The next morning, November 8, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. my husband returned to the store with the photos. He was hoping they would still be on the screen but they were gone. He asked a employee for some help and she called the manager. The manager came and got him started and told him he would return to show him how to crop. The manager never returned. My husband asked they he be paged but never heard it. He fought with the photo machine the best he could and left. Really nice manager and customer service.

I've never been able to successfully fill a prescription at the Walgreens near me in Los Angeles. Nearly 3 weeks ago I dropped off my prescription and later received a phone call it was ready. Walgreens prescriptions not being filled

Im about to choose another pharmacy! ive gotten on line (since im always on hold forever!) I have ordered prescription renewals 2 weeks ago and they are still working on them! Also, I renew online and Its never acknowledged. Im really tired of this service. Sometimes Im called from this walgrens saying my prescriptions are ready (my mothers also) and when I wait in line at the drive thru for a long time, they say they are not ready and will be next day. This is really getting old!
this is the walgrens at kolb and golflinks in tucson ariz. ive been on hold now for a hour now! This has all gotten worse for the last 2 years

Walgreens Pharmacy

I have made two trips to the Walgreens pharmacy for a prescription that was suppose to be filed on Oct 29th- 21 instead they have piece it out 10 pills the 1st trip which was on the 29th 10 the 2nd which was this evening they still owe me 160 pills and its a medication I need It is really unacceptable that I have to make three trips to a pharmacy for one prescription now they say I have to wait until Tuesday it is always something I never know when or if I am going to have my medication they are always running out of medications they apparently don't have enough staff because no one ever answers the phone I get tired of waiting on the phone line for 20 minutes and just have to get in my car and go there or send my husband people need their medication and not all the added stress they claim today the reason I have to wait until Tuesday is that they are having computer issues how are they going to fill prescriptions over the weekend yet I have to wait until Tuesday to get my medication I wish someone would explain to me how that works I don't think they are going to stop filling prescriptions until Tuesday so explain to me why I have to wait until Tuesday for mine I take a lot of medications my entire family uses this pharmacy To say I am displeased with the service would be a grave understatement . If there are not some changes made soon Ill be changing pharmacies .

Walgreens Pharmacy

On Tuesday nov. 2, I picked up a prescriptiom for Myrbetriq - 0n Wednesday, Nov. 3 I went to my doctor, who told me to discontinue this medication. The pharmacy refused to take back the medication.- I am 92 yrs of age - my only income is a small soc. sec. check and cannot afford to waste money, which obviously I just did by getting the prescription prematurely. would you please give this your kind consideration, take back the meds and issue a refund? I have been a loyal customer for 40 years in new mexico, and previously in new york and would like to stay a customer with walgreen's instead of going elsewhere for my future needs. thank you for your consideration. the walgreens I uuse is on 528 & Southern in rio rancho, new mexico.

Walgreens Pharmacy Staff

On 3 November 2021, I went to Walgreens at 6301 Yord Rd, Md, to grab a flu vaccine during a work break. The staff took forever, but I stayed in line without raising any complaints. After fifteen minutes, they finished processing the paperwork for the person in front of me. The lady at the front desk proceeded to ask someone behind me to skip ahead of me to start his paperwork. I will not be using walgreens again as a pharmacy after this experience. Slow service and discrimatory unfair practices.

Walgreens poor service

I scheduled an appointment for covid vaccine booster on 11/2/2021 @1:00 pm., at the pharmacy in Roseboro, NC 28382.

I arrived 15 minutes early as asked. I filled necessary paperwork and was told it would only take a few minutes.

The individual responsible went to lunch and left me waiting for over an hour. At 2:05 pm I asked what the status was and was told the person was still at lunch, could I wait a few minutes longer.

I consider this action to be quite rude, and requested my old vaccination card/record returned to me.

I will get my vaccines elsewhere in the future, even though it will be less convenient.

Walgreens should not have scheduled my appointment when the only person able to administer the booster was going to lunch regardless of my situation.

I suppose CVS will benifit from your rudeness as I will take all my business to them in the future.

It seems to be a pattern I went through something similar at the Walgreens I go to and when I got my Covid vaccine I was left waiting for over an hour as well they hold your vaccination card as if to prevent you from leaving I don't understand why they make appointments to only make you wait an hour plus then give you attitude when you call them on it as if your time is not valuable I guess in their eyes the customer is never right sadly over the last year and a half to two years I have noticed the staff at Walgreens seems to be rather rude and act as if you are inconveniencing them when you approach them about anything. So much for customer service or even service with a smile.

Walgreens Pharmacy incompetenty

I brought in the same script's I do every month and have been using the same pharmacy for over a year. They never seem to have one medicine on hand ever, so I always have to return for this one med., sometimes 3x bcuz they will only partially fill. I turned in script's two days ago, haven't heard anything back, so I look up walgreens corp. to let them know, if I hadn't called to let them know I'd still be waiting on my script, which by the way was only partially filled after complaint. If they can send email to let you know what meds are up for refills, how come they don't have it on hand in stock at store? Same thing for over a year! Why do I have to call and tell the store I haven't received my refill for days? They have an automated system which cues you to fill refills, then you wait, wait wait for them to fill, call your Dr.'s office and ask why they haven't filled refills at walgreens request, for the Dr. office reply, walgreens never contacted them! This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used, and if I had an option of a closer pharmacy to my home I'd switch in a heartbeat. Walgreens incompetenty is consistent and being incompetent! I give them an award for being the worst pharmacy ever!?!

Desired outcome: Keep medicine in stock, follow up with medicines on back order,. Do your job without having to be reminded by customer.

Walgreens Pharmacy

Awful arrogant, disinterested, lazy, pathetic. That's the typical Walgreens pharmacy. Chaotic, believes customers are a nuisance, arrogant as [censored]! Are pharmacists too good for the commoner?

Made an appointment at Walgreens for Pfizer covid booster, filled out forms online, made appointment, showed up...never even acknowledged my existence among the messy chaos that is Walgreens. 1770 TC Jester West Houston, TX. Stood there in a "unserved" line especially for vaccines...nothing. No one else was even willing to lift a finger - not their problem. Called Walgreens corporate on the phone while in store. On hold for 7 minutes - then no solution.( I could not get any of the minions in the store to help me.) awful. I am disabled, and it was difficult enough to find a place offering Pfizer booster shots. Now, I will have to just go without and hope for the best. Arrogant - the only way I can describe the smugness and lack of decency.

Walgreens Pharmacy

Walgreens is unable to fill prescriptions in a timely manner, causing undue and unnecessary pain and suffering to customers. Location 1040 St Johns Pl. Brooklyn. It literally takes them days to fill a prescription once received from the doctor. If you have surgery and require pain meds the same day - DO NOT go here. You will suffer in pain before they fill the prescription.

Don't bother calling the customer service 1800 WALGREENS. At total was of time unless you like phone music.

Walgreens Pharmacy - vacation override for eliquis

Contacted UHC to get a vacation override on two medications because I will be out of the country for 6 months. Discussed issue with Ann at Optumrx and after we verified my dates and destination she advised I just needed to notify the pharmacy to call [protected].

I contacted Walgreens in Camp Verde, AZ and advised them of what the process was. The pharmacist (did not identify herself) said I had to contact the Doctor to get approval on the Allopurinol and that the Eliquis would not be a problem. As of this time I don't think the pharmacy has called Optum Rx. Both presriptions are normally filled by OptumRx, and Walgreens is my local backup for short term prescriptions. Additionally, my provider advises that for all refills I am to contact the pharmacy and they will contact the doctor.

I received two emails saying the Eliquis could not be filled and when I went on line the website says it is too early to fill. The website also said the Allopurinol was not in stock. I got a phone message yesterday and today that says delayed prescriptions are ready for pickup, but doesn't say if it one or both. Yesterday I followed up with the pharmacist and she said neither was ready. I contacted my doctor's office by email on Monday and called yesterday to verify what was needed. In addition, I was on hold yesterday for 18 minutes and the phone at Walgreens was never answered.

A continuing problem is UHC/Optum will not fill regular refills for Eliquis until the last minute and this has put me at risk of running out of the drug at least twice. This is a long term medication and there should be no reason for it not to be refilled when I ask, except for Accounting Reasons.

Desired outcome: I need these medications no later than 10 November.

I made an appointment for 3pm for the Covid booster, arrived 15 minutes early at 2:45pm as advised by their website. There was already a long line; by the time I got up the the window, they spent even longer with the check-in process, blaming it on the "new system." I then waited in the store for my turn, sometimes sitting on the floor as there were no available chairs. At about 4:30pm I saw that the people ahead of me line had received their shots, but I still had not been called up for mine. So I went back to the window, and saw the pharmacist who had been giving the shots was now helping out at the drive-thru window! Sure it was busy, but I had been waiting inside the store for almost 2 hours! He finally gave me the shot, but was rude and dismissive. I felt like I was not important, like the time I spent waiting was a complete non-issue. I had to take paid time off from work to get this booster shot.
Awful management, understaffed and poorly trained staff, no planning, no organization = horrible customer service.
Every time I go to pick up prescriptions there is always a very long line, and if I drop off a new prescription in the morning it is ready hours and hours later at night. It should not take 8 hours to fill a prescription that comes ready-made in a bottle and pre-packaged.
I transferred my prescriptions to another non-Walgreens pharmacy because I have had enough.
