Walgreens Methadone prescription new amount per dr

On 10/18/21 had bad slip and fall with multiple injuries. Went to pain management Dr and he increased my meds from 120 to 135 pills per month. I picked this script up on 11/24. He had filled these and others days before. So someone else could have taken my meds off the rack.
Upon counting at home was ten pills short. Pharmacy manager took 4 days to tell me I was junkie and did this all the time. Meanwhile I have records of 21 months of same script being filled there with not one shortage ever. This guy had days to mess around with the pills as he would not allow anyone else to count. He made up fictional conversation w other store saying they said I claimed missing pain meds before. No such conversation ever took place I recorded these conversations with other pharmacist. ZAID HAMDANI is the pill thief or he cannot count. He was abusive and behaved like he was in something. I think he has a drug problem.

Desired outcome: This guy stole my meds. I want to prosecute for felony theft of controlled substance.

I just moved to this area and I have used Walgrens for many years. This is the only walgreens even close to me and it is 20 min away. I have been going there now for 1 year. Every month (no joke) they have either messed up my RX refill, just have not filled one or 2 meds or are out of the medication. They also could look and tell me you need to get your...

12/10/2021 I picked up my schedule 2 Hydrocodone medication, which was on file (previously called in by Dr office) I called the night before to request it be filled next morning. (Online it continued to say pending so I drove into town, I live 50 miles from Walgreens that I currently use) and at 1pm I walked in to pick up. It was still in limbo because the...

They filled a 90 day prescription for 5mg Finasteride for $20.00 on 09/02/2021. Then 90 days later they wanted $232.39 to refill that same prescription. When I complained they reduced the price to $143.81, so I went to the local Giant Food Pharmacy. The Pharmacist there told me that Walgreens had hung up on them three times when they were trying to transfer...

Walgreens flu shot administration: Vivian

10671 Sudley Manor Dr
Manassas VA 20109

I had an appointment for a flu vaccine today at 11:00. My confirmation # is
695NXEJ7XNA1M. I told the pharmacist I am a senior citizen and cannot wait in a line. She told me to sit in the pharmacy area and the vaccinator would call my name.
At 11:30, I had not been called and had watched walk-ins get their vaccinations ahead of me. I spoke to the pharmacist again and was told to go to the head of the line and my name would be called. The person giving the vaccines, Vivian, did not call my name. She just said, "Next! and, of course, the next person in line went ahead of me .I told Vivian I had an appointment and was told I would be next. She said, "I don't care. You are adults. You figure it out"! I went back to the pharmacist and was assured I would be next. Again, Vivian came out and screamed "Next!" and I went in regardless of the line. I told her I did not appreciate being treated that way and tried to explain the situation. She was so rude to me! I had been very patient and all she could say was that it was not her problem. I spoke to the manager afterward and he assured me he would speak with her. Either the procedure should be better regulated or Vivian should be fired. I prefer the latter. There is no scenario when a customer service person should treat a customer with that amount of attitude and snark.

Desired outcome: Discipline Vivian at store 10671 Sudley Manor Drive, Manassas VA 20109

Walgreens Entresto and several other prescriptions

This is my most recent problem with Walgreen's pharmacy located in North Port, FL at two locations; one location on Toledo Blade and the other on Sumter. I recently started taking Entresto 24-26 mg. My initial order was filled without a problem. When I re-ordered at my main Walgreens, the location on Toledo Blade they were unable to fill my order so I had them check with the Sumter location and they filled my order. This month, I was told they could only give me 10 pills ( 5 days worth) and when I asked them when I could expect the remainder of my order and the tech just shrugged her shoulders. This is absolutely infuriating because I have to get my prescriptions from Walgreen due to my Medicare drug plan. What is my recourse? I need your assistance.

Desired outcome: Get my prescriptions when I order them.

Walgreens Prescriptions

Every three months I have to deal with my prescriptions never being ready, being told they would be when they aren't.
I take Adderall, on one occasion they didn't have any and the supplier didn't have any. Do you think they told me this? No, they gave other excuses like your insurance was denied, we can't find the prescription etc..
Last week I knew I was getting low on my anti-depression medication. I got the email from Walgreens that it needed to be filled. So I responded yes refill this prescription. It's always a prescription of one fill for 3 months. Always a new prescription. Did you think they bother to look and see if there was a new prescription? No they contacted my doctor and she denied the "second" prescription. So here I am with major depression and MAJOR anger issues taking a medication that takes weeks to build up in your system. Then Walgreens f***s all that up.

Desired outcome: I want someone to know about this. Photo of todays receipt attached.

Walgreens Every month a problem with prescriptions.

I've gone to the Walgreens at 342 E Illinois Chicago 60611 for about 2 years. Every month, no exaggeration there is a problem picking up my prescriptions. I get the automated call that my prescriptions are ready but there is always one or two of the four not refilled. I've asked to be taken off the auto call but I'm still bothered by it.

I go in and see the same people and have the same problem with some of them not ready regardless if I call first, go in earlier in the day and come back later, it's a problem EVERY month. They lose scripts or can't find them in the system or ran out of the medication, always a problem every month.

On top of that Wallgreens of greater Chicago has run out of Adderall 4 times in the last several years. Not just one store, the great Chicago area, and when I worked my way up the ladder, it was revealed that the "one" supplier" they work with was on backorder. GO TO ANOTHER SUPPLIER!

Whether I ask the people nicely or challenge them it's the same result. I actually get anxiety thinking about going to pick up prescriptions and what kind of problems I'll have that time. This is the last month, if it's the same next month, I'm taking my business elsewhere. Like anyone is even paying attention.

Walgreens has become another bloated corporate entity that can't do much of anything without 100 people reviewing it and making bad decisions based on a bottom line somewhere.

Desired outcome: Improve the computer systems so employees can actually access information, teach them how to be prepared for each different person and treat them that way, not like another number.

Walgreens Pharmacy

My young adult daughter (19) picked up her prescription from our local Walgreens. She's been on this medication for over a year. The manufacturer was changed the previous month and she was had an adverse reaction to something in the new version of the medication. At the time of picking up the medication, she told the pharmacist she had a bad reaction to the new version of the medication. He dismissed her concerns and said it's the same active ingredient. She tried to tell him she allergic to gluten and other possible inactive ingredients but he refused to listen and moved along to other customers. She messaged doctor. Her doctor called in a new prescription, the brand name version of this medication. Then insurance required pre-authorization. The doctor completed the paperwork. However, this was now the day before Thanksgiving. The pharmacy was closed Thanksgiving. Friday after Thanksgiving, we went back to the pharmacy, they said they had received the pre-authorization paperwork but were "out of stock" of the medication. However, then two days later they stated insurance would not authorize the medication and they were still out of stock anyway. (We were now 10 days after the original date of picking up the medication my daughter had an adverse, allergic reaction to)

My daughter reached out to her doctor again. They discussed her symptoms and reactions. They decided to change medications. The doctor called in a different medication but with the same active ingredient just different inactive ingredients to hopefully avoid the adverse reactions she was having. Insurance once again denied payment stating it was "too soon" for a refill of this medication. I went into the pharmacy. I expressed my concern to the pharmacist - AGAIN and told him my daughter was ill from taking the other medication as she must take it daily despite the adverse, allergic reaction she was having. He finally said he would call insurance and try to explain about the adverse, allergic reaction to the inactive ingredients. He would hopefully have an answer that evening. That was on December 1, 2021. We STILL do not have an answer or the medication. No return phone call. I've been in again. My daughter has been in again. It's one excuse after another - computer problems, out of stock, new medication didn't get ordered, insurance delay...blah, blah, blah...did I mention this is a birth control medication? This is not a pain medication or a "controlled substance". This is not a big deal. Did I mention that each time we've been in it has been a minimum of a 30-minute wait in line because of being "short staffed"? This is a ridiculous situation that my daughter is not being cared for properly. She is having an adverse, allergic reaction to a medication and the pharmacist knows about it and refuses to do anything for her.

Desired outcome: Provide the proper, prescribed medication at no cost as it is now over two-weeks past when they said it would be available.

Walgreens Horrible treatment at your pharmacy

My husband often picks up my Rx, because I have an anxiety disorder, and because I am high risk for covid, and it stresses me out to stand in the line for 30 minutes because a) Walgreens Johnson Creek and 82nd Ave is ALWAYS understafffed b) they stopped their drive-thru service 3) the people there are awful. A cashier at the pharmacy overcharged my husband for my pills. It was her mistake. So I called them up to ask what to do, they said to bring in the receipt and they'll refund the $11. This was November 24th, the day before Thanksgiving. They never told me there was a deadline as to when I could get the money refunded. I came there today, 12/6 and they said, sorry it's been a week, you can't get your money back. Eventually, after extreme protests, a mini-manager by called Shyann THREW the money at me and said "You should go now." ARE YOU FLIPPIN KIDDING ME? They completely effed things up, and they wouldn't not own their mistake, and then she THREW the money at me and told me to leave. WHAT IS GOING on there? Every employee there is miserable, so it's no wonder no one wants to work there, but instead of fixing their problems, paying higher salaries, or hiring extra workers, they put up a sign in their drive through window "Sorry no drive through due to STAFF shortages, ..." what a bunch of BS. The quality of this particular Walgreens has gone so downhill, there's going to be a shoot-up in there one of these days. Miserable angry, overworked people. Walgreens Management, PLEASE GET your [censored] together because it's a pathetically run place. Just awful.

Walgreens Prescriptions

Every Prescription I have and I have seven I always have a problem with a 90 days supply! I have glaucoma and I take multiple drops per day! Evidently the pharmacist and I have a difference of opinion on how many drops there is in each 10 ml. They never give me enough to last or they give me an argument when I tell them they're wrong. I've even contacted my doctor and they can't change their minds. My diseases are hypothyroidism, heart disease, Aortic Stenosis. Walgreens also has stop notifications by phone advising of a prescription to be picked up!

Desired outcome: Change to customer service and not Customer Oposition!

Walgreens Intentional Poor Sevice

I gave my prescription to the Pharmacy on 12/3/2021 (the night before the refill date of 12/4/2021) in order for it to be filled first thing the next morning on 12/04/2021. I was leaving town. I got there at 9:30 AM on 12/04/2021 and they said it would not be ready until after LUNCH. It was 1:28 when I got the call it was filled. They go to lunch from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. I finally got my prescription at 2:00 PM. That is not acceptable.

Desired outcome: I would like for them to be reprimanded and an apology issued to me.

Walgreens The intolerable wait times at the drive thru and on the phone.

In the past 5 days i have been on my phone for a total of 56 minutes waiting for service, answers, or just some HELP.
Yes, I said TOTAL 56 plus minutes. I needed to question a prescription and was put on hold, then disconnected.
I called back and after an intolerable wait finally talked to a person who almost immediately put me on hold again so that he could "talk to the pharmacist". Another wait with no response. Total time 38 minutes. Why did I wait so long? because if you get extremely frustrated and hang up the next call will be as long if not longer.
I contacted Walgreens several months ago about their drive through wait times. I was the second car in line and it took 2 1/2 of Mozart's symphonies (19 minutes) before I could move up. I never received any correspondence or satisfaction to my complaint.
I used to be a CVS customer and got fed up with them but am now thinking of going back unless Walgreens
does something to correct this issue.

James Hosford
Franklin, Mass.

Desired outcome: Correct wait times, hire necessary (trained) help, have more compassion for their paying customers.

Walgreens Overall mismanagement

Do not go to Walgreens! This company is disgusting and is only concerned how much money they can squeeze out of you. Pricing tricks include doubling the price for no reason and then putting it on "sale" for up to 40% off. That means you are paying 60% more than you should. Take note of the prices of items you want each week and do not overpay based on their FAKE "sales."

The photo lab cuts off all your pictures which should always be compared to the originals. They also show a lot of incompetence in many departments so make sure you are not overdosed or underdosed on prescriptions. They have an arrogant attitude and I often find many dumb employees who cannot do simple math without a calculator. Several are lazy too and have a sense that they are more important than you because they have a badge with their name on it.

Walgreens entire motive is to try to cheat you in whatever ways they can. You are much better off going to a reputable place in your area not named Walgreens. Your complaints to them are useless as is this entire company. Do complain to your local agencies about them if they are not following the laws including in-store masking rules, and bait-and-switch schemes where they are out of the advertised products at low prices but entice you to buy the higher-priced alternative. The feds should thoroughly investigate Walgreens and shut down those stores not in compliance. Walgreens itself is shutting down many stores because their incompetence is causing the competition to run the company out of business where it belongs.

Dollar Stores and Walmart are also a great alternative to Walgreens. You will save a lot of money for the same things and not have to deal with what is perhaps the worst company out there, Walgreens. Simply put, Walgreens stinks! All imo.

Desired outcome: Walgreens be investigated for potential illegalities.

Walgreens App issues

The app rarely works well. I can reorder prescriptions but then it always says its processing, even when its been filled already, and always tells me to call the pharmacy to resolve some undisclosed issue that really is just them waiting for the doctor to send another order in again, nothing I should have to be calling the pharmacy for. I've had to call every month for one thing or another. Exhausting having to be on top of the pharmacy like that.

Desired outcome: Fix app
