Walgreens

They filled a 90 day prescription for 5mg Finasteride for $20.00 on 09/02/2021. Then 90 days later they wanted $232.39 to refill that same prescription. When I complained they reduced the price to $143.81, so I went to the local Giant Food Pharmacy. The Pharmacist there told me that Walgreens had hung up on them three times when they were trying to transfer the prescription. I went to Walgreens and stood there while they transferred the prescription which Giant filled for $13.65 with no insurance. That is criminal, how can they overcharge a 74 year old man 17 times more for a generic drug.
