service
Going through the drive thru this morning and ordered a coffee and a raisin bran muffin. I watched the car in front of me receive their order, check it and hand it back. I drove up to the window was handed my order - which was obviously the returned item. When I asked I was told that yes it was the order the previous customer had returned but it was "ok". I said I wasn't comfortable with that and asked that they get me a fresh muffin...rec'd an eye roll, someone went around the corner and came back with what was obviously the same crumpled bag. To top if off it was the wrong muffin!
Very disappointing.
horrible customer service
Nov.26/19 @ (between 5:05-5:15pm)
Only car in line @ drive thru
Supervisor: catherine (asked brianna to speak to at time of order but catherine never came to window)
Employees x 3 :
Took drive thru order - a blonde girl (name was not offered by brianna)
2nd to enter service at drive thru window - brianna
3rd employee wasn't involved - was there witnessing everything but said nothing so will not be mentioned in this complaint.
-pulled into drive-thru to order
-ordered 1 lrg coffee when (blonde girl) promptly asking "is that everything?"
-calmly I replied "no"... And asked for a blueberry donut... (blonde girl says "no... They were discontinued... Is that everything?"
-once again I calmly replied "no.. Do you have any strawberry muffins/donuts?"
- (blonde girl) replies "no they are discontinued... Is that everything?"
-I replied "really?, as I was surprised that everything we were ordering was discontinued...
- I replied"no and asked for 3 oatmeal cookies... Order completed I drove to window
- (blonde girl) was at window and visibly mad asking me "is there a problem with the order?" in very ignorant tone
-I replied "no... I was just surprised that they-tim hortons - took off menu is all"
(blonde girl) replies "yeah well they did and it's not my fault so dont blame me for it!"
Then gave my order and quickly closed window and walked away on me! So rude and unprovoked... My passenger 50 yr old brother and i (45 yrs old) were just looking at each other like what just happened here?
We never did anything to provoke her anger other than ordering items that weren't on menu... Unknown to us until time of order.
-motioned for 2 girls standing there to open window to ask why the attitude from (blonde girl)
Enter brianna! Also high attitude and super rude... Accusing my brother and I of saying something rude to them after ordering... Which never happened at all...100% fabricated... At my age I have no reason to be rude to these girls nor was my passenger rude at any point.. She said "we can hear you when you drive away ya know?"
-I denied the accusation and asked what it was that they thought i'd said... Brianna had no comment on what it was I said...
-I asked brianna her name... Which she gave me and asked to speak to manager... And asked for (blonde girls) name
-brianna continued to be very confrontational with us insisting we said something over intercom. Very untrue.
-brianna wouldn't get manager or give me (blonde girls) name
-explained to her that (blonde girl) had very bad attitude and simply asked what her reasoning was... That's when brianna accused us of saying something rude through intercom to (blonde girl)
-I explained that i'm the customer and deserve a little more respect than the way we were being treated and brianna said "good night guys smiling and shut the windows on our conversation...
Unbelievable!
As a long term tim hortons customer of many years... I've never been hassled and accused of such childish nonsense as I experienced at this tim hortons location and staff! Ever!
My passenger and I were dumbfounded... Wondering what had happened right then... Totally uncalled for.
Some patience of staff at time of ordering would be appreciated... Sorry we are ordering 2 items consecutively that were discontinued... Unless we as customers ask at drive thru... How are we to know?
It doesnt give the permission to be rude and start accusing customer of things that never even took place. These girls are young... I get it... But I expect a certain amount of respect as a paying customer... Probably will be returning to this location in future and I hope to get treated in this fashion again! Next time I won't drive away. I'll go into store and deal with the attitude and false accusations in person. Im sure customers inside would like to listen.
Adolescent behaviour on behalf of these staff members. Grow up.
lids
Get rid of these horrid, dangerous contraptions. They leak, dont fit, and are improperly vented. Garbage as far as I am concerned. My friends and family are in agreement and will be going elsewhere for coffee. The prices keep rising, the service declining and less tolerable daily, and products shrinking in size and quality. The old family oriented business is now a thing of the past and Tim's has become a corporate mess and all about the al.ighty dollar Instead of the wholesome morning meeting place it once was.

The new lids that you switched to are pure garbage. You spill more coffee drinking out of cups with these new lids than you actually drink. Not sure who or where your test market testing on was done, but I suspect they were not Tim's customers and they dealt with Robins or McDonalds and they sabotaged the trial, so you would lose market share. After the third week of using your new cup and lids, I took my business elsewhere.
Another beef, with the introduction of the reward card, the drive through line up all of a sudden increased in length and time waiting for the coffee increased. Not sure why, but it gave me more incentive to move over to your competitors.
Fix both and I might return, fix neither and well it has been nice knowing you

front counter service and bathrooms
Hi, I was in the lochlomand tim's yesterday nov 24/19 - at around 11:35am and 1st stood in line waited like 12 mins then lady behind counter decides to disappear so I moved to another line and ordered 2 coffee, received one but then saw the man continue to make coffees and give to others their order, I looked at the man and said, I am still waiting for one more coffee in a nice voice... He looked at me but just ignored me and gave me a look, so then I said it again kindly and said oh, are you going to make me my coffee mocha, after 10 more mins of being ignored... Not sure what his issue was but then another lady serving said no worries, what did you order ill make it... He was so rude by ignoring me and shouldn't be in customer service business. Lastly, the bathrooms are so dirty, smelly & philthy. I love tim's and been to a lot of tim's bathrooms and they always are very clean - this location is gross and not fit to use so someone should be cleaning them. Honestly, I never complain but this experience was not good at all. Thanks for listening. Wendy stevens, - saint john nb
employee behavior
I ordered S Regular coffee at 2330 on 24.11.19 and an employee named Manpreet yelled at me after I asked for a sleeve. The cup was burning hot, I work in hosp. and everytime I order coffee, she makes unpleasant face, and gives me a response as I should go away. She told me last time I made a fuss for not giving the sleeve. If she remembered I asked for it, why didn't she give it at first place?
I felt insulted in front of other employee and other clients. I spent money for coffee, not for disrespect and yelling. I thought to refrain from complaining couple of times before, but tonight, she made me feel insulted. I would rather stay without coffee or food, but I am pledging not to visit there now onwards.
Tim Hortons is a reputed name. I think the owner should train them for customer service, atleast how to talk to people. This is the only employee who behaved to this extreme level since I started working there 8 years ago.
new ad on television
Timmy's is probably the MOST POPULAR coffee in Winnipeg - love it! But - so sad to see the new ad on the television that shows different spots in our country - looked like one in each province! Why NO MANITOBA? Bad enough we are normally left out of "cross Canada weather, like the rest of the country thinks there is nothing between Saskatchewan and Ontario!
Would have been kind of nice to see a Manitoba franchise - we do drink coffee here too!

ice coffee, ice capp, tim bits
On Sunday, Nov. 17 attended Tim Hortons on Tecumseh Road at Huron Line asked for a Ice coffee, asked for extra cream extra base did not come that way
Ice Capp, extra cream, came out darker no extra cream
Tim Bits asked for 20, only received 15
Overall service at this location was terrible, will not return to this location.
It was through drive thru so no resolution to complaint
iced capp
I ordered a KitKat iced cap and I was drinking it and I felt something hard inside of it when I was moving around the straw . Then I wanted to t know what was so hard inside of it so I throw it a out and I saw something red inside of it . On further inspection it looks like the nozzle of the piping bag of the whip cream. thai chicken soup base served vs soup
Dear Sir/Madame,
My husband and I recently ordered the chicken Thai soup and a sandwich to go. I have had this soup many times in the past and it quickly became my lunch go to when on the road. Well today I got a bowl of paste. Not soup. Thick stand your spoon up in the middle glop. And not in a thick and hearty way.
Anyway it was inedible. So today's lunch for me was the bun.
Not so happy.
Chris Pidgeon.
dietary restrictions
I went to Tim Hortons at the intersection of Bloor and St. George in Toronto Ontario a couple of hours ago, I ordered a breakfast sandwich with 2 hash browns, an iced coffee with a flavour shot, and 2 donuts. I also ordered the breakfast sandwich and the iced coffee both with no dairy since I am lactose intolerant.
The first issue is when the person serving me told me that they had no soy milk, which I ordered, and asked me if I wanted cream or milk. When I told her that I couldnt have either she proceded to make me a black iced coffee, without sugar, or the flavour shot which I paid extra for. I got this fixed, but she was a bit rude about it.
The second issue is that they gave me a a breakfast sandwich that had cheese on it. When I pointed it out, they took the sandwich and just took the cheese off. I know they did this since there was still small bits of cheese on the bun and the wrapper. This could make someone very sick if they were to eat it, if they had a sensitivity or allergy to Dairy. They also tried to pin it on me, saying I ordered it with cheese, but I explicitely remember pressing the minus sign next to cheese on the touch screen.
This is the second incident I have had in a week with this sort of thing. On Wednesday at about 12:30pm, I went to a Tim Hortons located at the intersection of College and Spadina in Toronto, Ontario, in which they did the same thing, though I didnt get it resolved because I didnt find out that they gave me cheese on my breakfast sandwich until I got home, and I didnt have time to go back, especially since I went to a location that was out of my way. I contacted Tim Hortons through facebook messanger, and they told me that they would put me in contact with the manager from that location, which has yet to happen.
There are a couple of resolutions for my complaint. First off, educate your workers on what to do if someone with a dietary restriction were to ask for their order to be fixed. The rudeness was uncalled for, especially since I was trying to make it so my meal wouldn't make me sick. I understand that they probably thought that I didn't like cheese or dairy, but really when it comes to this sort of thing they should assume that it is due to an actual medical condition. Also, if someone with a dietary restriction were to ask for their meal to be fixed, don't just remove whatever they cannot have, make them a new breakfast sandwich or whatever they ordered as the old one may have residues of a food that the person cannot have due to allergy, intolerance or sensitivities.
I do not think that I even want to go to Tim Hortons again, especially if they are going to handle my orders like that.
hygiene
At approximately 12:15pm today, a female staff member walked out of the kitchen with 4 donuts on her forearm and 2 eclairs in her hands then proceeded to place them in the display cabinet. When I complained to the staff member serving me that it was disgusted and unhygienic, she just shrugged. I will also be complaining to our municipal health department.
drive thru screws up orders nearly every single time (50 street and hermitage road, victoria trail and hermitage road, edmonton ab)
I'm not usually one to write complaints, especially not about something trivial like missing bacon or cheese or whatnot, but I feel that something needs to be said about the suspicious circumstances of the drive thru's in North Edmonton, especially around the Clareview area. We have been a contributor to your business for at least 15 years and we feel like something needs to be done.
It seems like any time I order breakfast for my family, (lets say we are on the way to an appointment or in a rush for some reason, and we go through the Drive Thru) there is what seems to be, intentional corner cutting. You should get what you paid for, always... and if there is an honest mistake, I could accept that. However, if I order four sandwiches and four drinks, 8 times out of 10, the sandwiches will be made poorly and missing most of their ingredients. EIGHT OUT OF TEN TIMES!
Whether this is for the sake of speed or saving money, I don't know, but if it were simply an accident, you would occasionally get something "extra" whether that be extra bacon, extra cheese, or an extra sandwich. Instead, most times, what I find is missing egg, missing bacon, missing cheese, or even missing sandwiches. I'm not even going through at rush hour either, this could be 11am! If you can't serve breakfast orders for a carload of people in your drive thru, just say so. There is no reason for this, and it angers many people because we use the drive thru if we are in a rush and we can't come back to have it fixed, and it seems like the people working there know that, and that's why they intentionally screw up the drive thru orders. To top it off, when I went into the Victoria Trail location and asked that they fix my order (no cheese and only half a slice of bacon on four sandwiches, again!), they gave me dirty looks and grumbled about it rather than apologising!
I am finally writing a complaint, after having this done to me almost every single time I have gotten more than one breakfast sandwich, I believe that there MUST be some kind of directive from the bosses of the Tim Horton's around Clareview to cheap out and rush the Drive Thru orders. How much money are these franchise operators wrongfully bringing in when they rip their customers off at such an alarming rate? There is NO WAY that almost every single time, I should be ripped off! Imagine if I went into Tim Horton's, reached into the cash drawer and stole a dollar nearly every single time I went!
service
Hello: This is not the first time I have been frustrated with the service at this location, but it is the first time I have lodged a complaint. I asked for 6 French toast bagels (there were five in the display case). I asked the to check for another one and they found one but it had been cut in half (which I was ok with). Again (not the first time), the cashier charged me $2.29 for each bagel — I had to tell the price was not correct as there is a bulk one as I was just taking all six bagels plain. Finally they got it sorted out and they reminded me one of the bagels would be cut in half (which is fine). They finally got me a bag of six. I asked them is there really six in this bag plus only one was to be cut in half — they nodded in agreement. I got to my car and counted because it didn't seem like six in the bag — there were only five in the bag with 3 of them cut in half. So I had to go back into the line up and wait — then told them there was only five, which they went to the counter to finally correct. I had to speak to the Manager, but I was ignored. Then I get home, not only were 3 of them still cut in half but they had been toasted (one of sides burnt). I distinctly told them to take the five new ones out of the display case and then get me ONE bagel that had been cut in half (but nothing done to it). I get so frustrated with this location — service is poor plus seems to be out of items you want for other things (not just bagels). Thanks for reading my complaint as I have finally had enough of this location.

It has not been resolved but I want to cancel this complaint as I went directly to the Tim Horton's site to make my comments known. Please delete this complaint. Plus, this complaint seems to be against a Tim Horton's location in Oakville, and my complaint was to a location in Pickering. Thank you.
the people who serve there in the morning
Today on nov07 2019 I had a bad experience with the Tim's... First most of all the person who has serving me has an alcohol smell in her breath and her name is Megan and more over she is a supervisor... How can u let someone to work behind the counter especially in the food area with the alcohol smell in the breath... Second thing I been coming to this location for almost 6 years recently I seeing a guy standing there all the time and smell so weird I don't know why people let him to stand there for so long...
Can someone look into this issue and rectify the problem with the employee

new lids
The new lids that are being used for coffee cups are absolutely horrible to drink from. It's like drinking from a sippy cup so you almost have to suck the coffee out. The lids are very hard to open and because of the design there is always some left that you just can't get out. Please go back to the original style of lid. It is so much more user friendly and makes the coffee much more enjoyable to drink.
no training
Worked for Tim Hortons got no training was put on a 5am shift where I had to work the drivethru, front Counter, and the sandbox by myself plus wasn't given a passcode to open the tills or even told the procedure for the morning. Had customers angry with me because I couldn't serve them. Plus no one wears hairnets there but worried that your fingernails are long, don't write times on the coffee so who knows how long it sits for but more concerned about the times on the sanitation buckets and don't pay you for your 15 minute breaks. The management is horrible when they don't explain to you anything when they hire you. I would recommend no one work there
how they treat their employees
My fiance works at this Tim Hortons and on Monday ( November 4th, 2019) night the cops had contacted the management saying they needed to take her in for questioning for a child abuse case as she knows what these children are going through. Management said it was fine to take care of family before coming to work, So Tuesday, November 5th, 2019 so went into the police station to be questioned and what do you know the management from this place is now threatening her job... so good for "taking care of family first"... I will never ever buy another ice cap from this Tims or any in fact. It is a legal case and you can do anything if cops want to talk to you. this is unbelievable.
