On May 30th at approx. 1pm I went to Taco Bell at 2433 N. Chester Ave in Bakersfield CA. The drive thru was backed up so we decided to go inside. There were no customers inside. We went up to the counter and an employee said she couldn't take our order, that we would have to use the kiosk. I asked why. She again stated you have to use the kiosk. We went and tried the kiosk and were having trouble with it. After 5 tries of it saying order declined it finally went through. We order a 10 pack of tacos and 2 lg pepsi's. While we were ordering at the kiosk, another customer came in and went to the counter and they took his order. When we went to pick up our order at the counter, I asked why did we have to use the kiosk and the other customer didn't. She said because there were customers. I looked round the empty store and said really. Anyway she handed us the tacos and 1 Pepsi. I said we ordered 2 Pepsi's. She said no you didn't. I said yes we did. She then threw a cup at us and said no you didn't but here's one for free. I then said I wanted a receipt. She said she couldn't give us a receipt. I said I want a receipt because it took me 5 tries for the kiosk to accept my order and I want to make sure you didn't charge me 5 times. She did something at the register and said, no you weren't charged 5 times. I said good, now give me a receipt. She walked off and ignored us from then on. This was a terrible visit to that taco bell and at a minimum I think the employee should be disciplined and trained better in customer service.
