Taco Bell - Customer service at drive thru

Taco Bell worker called me a [censored] March 19, 2022 11:30pm, Arrow Hwy., Glendora, CA 91740 I drove up to pay and nice worker said I needed to pull around to the front to wait. I asked why? He said the timer would show too much time and Cinnabon Delights take 3 minutes. Since no one was behind me, I said no thank you. I'll wait here. Keep in mind that I had an Freeze drink with no straw which was going to melt. I asked if I could just get a refund. He seemed a bit frazzled and said um.. no.., they can't do that? Then he disappeared into the back. When he came back, another worker was with him who seemed to be in charge. He was clearly frustrated with me and told me that he needed me to move my car NOW. I asked May I have a straw? That made him more upset. He said it was their policy to put the straw in the bag with the food. He was nearly spitting his words out, he was so mad. I told him that if I had to wait, I should at least be able to drink my drink before it melted. He gave me a straw and went into the back. When he reappeared at the window, I knew by then that the food had to be ready except for maybe the 2-pack of Cinnabon Delights. Still, no food. He said again to move so I asked if I could just get a refund. He said angrily that he would need the drink back! By then, I had already drunk some of it. I wanted a refund for the Cinnabon Delights, not the entire order. I asked his name because I felt he was being extreme when he could have accommodated my request. He was demanding and quite mad so I handed over the drink. He ducked! I asked him what is wrong with him?! He said he thought I was going to throw the drink at him. I said something is seriously wrong with him if he thought I would throw a drink at him to which he replied that customers do that sometimes. I said he must be doing something very wrong to get customers so upset that they throw drinks when they simply want to order food and be on their way. The first worker that took my order was standing in the background, eyes wide with shock at the way the second worker was behaving. The angry worker asked if I paid with cash or card to which I answered credit card. He turned to the worker behind him and asked him something. The worker behind him shrugged and said something back. The angry worker turned to me and sneered at me that the other worker said he already gave me my card back. Calmly, I smiled and said, yes, he did. The angry worker said that I told him the other worker kept my card. I told him that I never said that and clearly he was too elevated to be handling this situation. First, he thought I was going to throw a drink at him and then he's hearing things. I handed over my card and the entire transaction was reversed. I asked him what the [censored] his problem was after I got my card back and that is when he called me a [censored]. I asked him for his name and he said he didn't have to give it to me then tried to rationalize his behavior by saying he can call me a [censored] and that I should have just pulled forward. At that point, I pulled out my cell phone and took his picture so I could report him. I was too far away to see name tags. As there is no other way to relay who these men are, I'll describe them: both tall, the nice one looked buff with big muscles, and was African American and the angry one was slim and Asian. I ended up going to In N Out Burger and getting a meal with a milk shake. The angry worker was personally responsible for loosing the sale. There is absolutely no reason for any of this to have happened. I feel that I should have been told when I placed my order that there would be a wait so that I'd have the choice to decide if I wanted the 2 little Cinnabon Delights or not. I also feel that if a customer is asked to wait and they are handed a drink, they should also be handed a straw so they don't sit there while the drink (ice) melts. This was poor training for the first nice worker. Also, there should have been the option to delete the Cinnabon Delights from my order. A car did come up behind me in the drive thru while the angry employee was giving me a hard time. It was way past 3 minutes by then and I know the complete order was ready, he just didn't want to give it to me. Are employees so afraid of loosing their jobs if the timer for a car at the drive thru is more than 30-60 seconds? I can't think of any other reason why he would get so angry, other than he hates customers.

Desired outcome: Train workers how to handle issues calmly. If a customer has to wait for food, don't make it uncomfortable. Drink melts, food gets cold. Give option for partial refund. Give warning there may be a wait. I want an apology.

In the Central Point Oregon Taco bell they have a nightmare to talk to or have to hear her speak you'll do anything just to not hear her wretched voice and rude as anyone who shouldn't have been granted manager position. You'll be in the middle of talking to the person taking the order and she'll ju.p in mid conversation without stating anything and take over . I'm like am I talking to the same person and she replies no this is the manager, I replied with oh yes I instantly knew that voice . And just pulled forward. They owe me but I'm not going to listen to her voice .
