Ross Dress for Less my co-workers and m.. o. d and manager

Im working thieralmost 3months untill now... Im working hard right thier everything they want to do i'll always follow and make it even is not of my job... I dont have any complaint about that because I want to help my coworker and the store but after 2months they change it the atitude from me all of my coworker they talked all people worked in ross that they say im stilling the stuffs talked[censored] my personal life, and they say im using drugs, if I have more time in my shift I organize the shoes or box even do wet all my body and my tshirt I go to breakroom to make dry my tshirt and if my manager or m.O. D walked behind me they laughing at me and they go to other coworker to say what im doing at but the things I want to make chance or imrovement the store but they dont have approaching the one i'll make it... Even the manager they cannot desipline thier employeer and he listened or believed into my coworker but I told my manager why you dont check the camera if I have something wrong happen when I worked but they say nothing and he dont review it the camera... But for me they dont know I know who is the people steeling or I know the technic to steel the stuffs and and most of that they smoke weeds inside store or they go outside even do is not break only smoked weeds and come back again inside and after they tripping me so bad and talking [censored] in my back untill my house they bother they looking if what im doing.. I already told my store manager but they cannot change it untill my payroll or hrs and days I worked they dont care I already told my boss but they dont say nothing about that... All of them we dont team worked or nice relationship to the employeers.. They want it only make some money make some good stuffs from the store or and they want to promote thier self.. This useless right because the atitude its so very very very bad... They dont care the rules and regulation in the store only thier self only want make improvement and make change thier life but the store they dont care if they have shortage or something bad happen inside the store... For me almost 3months only I worked right thier but everything is I know already because I have skills for that.. Its easy for me because every move I put in my mind... But my coworker or other people worked right thier they dont know make nice good worker only shopping even do during the time of worked they dont care and the manager he know already this what happened but untill now its thesame... Thats why when I worked right im to shy because all of them just like thesame atitude and all of them they talking me [censored] and only me I worked hard... I have a lot of information about this store they dont know I get all of the wrong regulation and wrong schedule I have a lot of not good information.. But i' ll keep it all that... So this is my experience in my job even do they make not good for me and bad thinking about me im still ok for that even do im only one in worked thats ok for me because I dont have any bad doing in store and bad saying about my manager and coworker the first important is im working hard and I know my self even do they dont care everything to prove it im good employeer... Thats it I have a lot but I cant type in my phone because im so mad and im crying about that because I trust all of them all of my power or brain to change there store they dont care about.. Im sory bye I cant I cant type anymore... Please understand my situation

Ross Dress for Less loss prevention young lady

I was telling this young lady with glasses named Kennya. That Ross should have strong rules not to let customers come in with food or drinks to the store. I show her that the boots I was interested in buying had a stained on them she was rude by telling me . Thank you for letting me know have a nice day. That is not the way to talk to a customer.
So I told her to let me talk a manager and he came over and she switch the story. She told me that because she had the earpiece set she couldn't hear me. Why she didn't say that I don't know. To me this is not the way to talk to a customer. She should have said.madam someone is telling me something wait a minute. She was rude. I hope she gets desiplined. Or written up.

Ross Dress for Less managers

I was at checkout by young woman and her manager came in and started pointing out everything she had been doing wrong infront of us. I found that completely disrespectful Not to me but to her who she was just doing her job and no a good way of criticism. I won't be coming back if that's how one employee gets treated who knows how many else do. A complete disappointment, poor girl was embarrassed that's no way to treat your employees. I hope that girls finds a better job where they won't talk down to her and I have the name of that manager.

Ross Dress for Less return policy

I bought a suit case at a different Ross in San Jose. When I tried to return a a Ross on Capitol zip 95133, the manager Parm said she can't take it back because it was used. The tag is still on and I never use it. I insist that it was never used and I just got it a week ago. She said her store doesn't sell this product and I need to go back to where I originally got it. Does Ross policy is same for all or each manager made their own policy. This is a very bad practice for a chain store like Ross

It is a common practice with this company. I am in New Jersey and encountered same in one Ross, went to another Ross and my return was taken with no problem. The good prices are just not worth the aggregation. They take away any enjoyment you might get from shopping.

Ross Dress for Less bad experience

Yesterday my mom went shopping and Ross at manhattan blvd, harvey, La and she bought 4 items and the store cashier charged her for 5 items my mom went back to tell the lady what happened the lady went and called the manager but the employees beside her were laughing and making fun of her because she was hispanic and don't know that much english even thought my mom was trying her best to communicate, she found somebody to translate for her, the store manager went to check the cameras and checked my mom's bags without permission. My mom had such a bad experience that she is embarrassed about coming back to that store she came home crying, feeling humiliated. She is also thinking about suing the store.

Ross Dress for Less store sanitation/safety

On several occasions, including friday september 20th, while shopping at your store in clovis, ca, I witnessed people bring their pets into the store. I understand "true" service animals and believe in their validity, however untrained companion animals do not belong in a grocery store! On this occasion, the customer had an adult pit bull with her. I personally do not feel safe with an aggressive breed that was clearly not a service animal in the store with kids, elderly, and the general public.in addition, service animals should never ride in the carts for sanitation reasons. Please educated your associates about how to address these customers and handle these situations. By allowing companion animals or emotional support animals (not recognized as service animals by ada) you are risking the health and safety of all of your employees and customers. I would appreciate your prompt response to this matter.

Ross Dress for Less hispanic discrimination and persecution

I want to apologize for my english is no the better; I am a 33 year old Hispanic pregnant woman which i went to one of this stores to make some purchases like usually i do for my and my future baby, but today I lived an unpleasant and disrespectful experience in the store N 1064 locate in Sunrise, close to my house.

I retired as soon as possible from this store becase since i entering until my final purchased was escorted for one of your security associates, looking constantly my personal bag hinting as if i was doing something wrong (theft)

I agree with you have a security system but they should more caoutious in their procedures, i believe that because my hispanic appearance i am feeling that you personal store have violated my privacity and the right to access to the store.

I was born with good values ​​of honesty and respect, so I consider having the same treatment with their customers main asset of the company.

I hope you take it as a suggestion and be more respectful and cautious in your procedures.

Ross Dress for Less staff behavior

I am from San Francisco Bay Area and meeting friends in Honolulu. Visited your Chinatown store on Hotel Street. On 9/19/19 around 1:15pm, I bought a bottle of shower gel and one of my local friend told me that I can check it out at rear cashier's station. When I went there, the cashier's station was closed. I had to go up front to pay. After paid for the item, I went to back door to meet my friend. She was talking to rear door loss prevention staff Brad to air her dismay, but Brad was brushing her off and interrupting her conversation by greeting several incoming customers one by one in the middle of my friend's short conversation with him. When I meet up with my friend, Brad was just turning away from my friend and walking up to and making small talks with his other loss prevention colleague and I overheard of his remarks in sarcastic tone about this woman was making noises on closed cashier's stations. I don't think this is the right attitude and ask to talk to the manager Berna. Berna was very good in handling the issue professionally promising to make necessary improvements. I, as an educated scholar and you, as a reputable national chain store, we all strive for better manners and customer satisfactions. I'd like to call to your attention to provide staff training to staff like Brad for improving his discriminatory behaviour. Thanks for your attention and looking forward to receiving your response soon.

Ross Dress for Less trash cans outside store overflowing with smelly garbage!!

The Ross Dress for Less at 1433 W. Interstate 240 Service Road, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma has a very disgusting large trash can that is overflowing with nasty smelly garbage right in front of the store! Who wants to shop in a store when you have to pass by this! Why in world can't the manager have this emptied every day or at least when it's full and overflowing onto the sidewalk!

Ross Dress for Less security guard and cashier

On 9/16/19 I was rudely talked to by the Security Guard. She was very rude. I was emptying the cart as I was exiting and she did not give me a chance to return the cart instead she rudely told me to put the cart away. She was loud so everybody could hear. Her mannerism was not professional and extemely rude. At that time one of the cashiers made a loud comment "That's why you're my favorite." This whole incident was embarrassing and unprofessional. They need training in dealing with people. They showed no professionalism at all. A simple "Please return the cart" and "Thank You" is all it takes. She was loud and so unprofessional that I left there so embarrassed. I go there alot and never have I been treated like this. Once in the car my daughter called and talked to the Manager. The Manager said she would talk to them and she apologized for the incident. I'm sure I was not the only one she has talked to like this but I am formerly placing a complaint.

Ross Dress for Less restrooms and management

The restrooms need to be remodeled they are discusting and this is an extremely busy location and the system in place does not check customers out in a timely manner. The manager when approached just told the line of people going ALL the back to the back wall and over "Employees called out so..." yet he did not get on a register himself to help his team at all to manage the line. I have been in management for many years and this location is in dire need of proper management and training is needed for them also.

Ross Dress for Less cashier

Cashier at Pttsburg Ca 94565 was sooo grumpy. Did not even say hi when we went to her register, didn't not even say thank you or goodbye. Simply nothing with a frowned annoyed face. She shouldn't be working there if obviously she hates her job. What a snob!

Ross Dress for Less under armor shoes

I bought a pair shoes on August 25, 2019 and they started to fall apart the fourth day after I had them. So I happen to go into the store on September 7 today and asked the girl if I wanted to bring them back what would you do since I've already warned him, she went to the manager and the manager said basically that once I took them out of the store they were my problem and there was nothing she could do about it. I find that very dissatisfying. How is it that I can buy a pair shoes that are not even 16 days old yet and you can't do anything about it not even a store credit, ? Yes they are worn, but they should not of started coming apart after 16days . Specially since I didn't even wear them for that long of a period? So am I found it very unsettling that I was talk to you and treated this way while I was in the store, a store that I frequent a lot which I'm questioning that decision now since I was treated that way so I'd like someone to get back to me and let me know exactly if this is true, and you guys don't back your products.If so I will not be shopping there again .thank you. ..

Ross Dress for Less [protected] blk lg tote

I am submitting this because I am very disappointed in the purse that I purchased. [protected] Black Tote for $22.99 on July 1 2019.
I shop at Ross almost exclusively and until my experience at their Carrollton store, I have been super satisfied with my experiences. I understand that they cannot accept products that people use and then return, but there are times that their policy should have an exception made to it and that is when the product itself is inferior. A purse at any price point should last more than a couple of months without the handle shredding. When I tried to return it I was told "we can't resale this" to my reply that she was absolutely correct and that this product should not be sold at all. I have purses that I have purchased at the same price point that have withstood years of me carrying it. The sales associates and managers attitude was also disappointing. I understand when you are upholding your companies policies but to make a customer feel like they are trying to do something underhanded is another. I was told "we wouldn't let someone wear shoes and then bring them back", and my reply was "thank you I totally agree" but that is not what is happening here. This is a defective product, not an issue or wearing something. I hope that they remove the product if they don't intend on allowing people to return it. I spend $1000's of dollars in their stores and have recommended them to all my friends thinking that they were a company that stood behind their products but after this experience, I will not do so with the same confidence and I will never purchase a handbag from their store. I would like to get a refund for the product. I also tried submitting this to their website and the page would not ever load.

Ross Dress for Less product

I have shopped at Ross for less only a few times and each time I have been highly dissatisfied with the quality of clothing/shoe items. Brought a pair of shoes wore then, 7 days, before they literally started to come apart. Went to return only to discover they only accept items NOT WORN. Brought a pair of pants last week 8/25, they lasted 1(ONE) day. The brand said Sagharbor, a brand I have brought a lot of, this could not be the same. In one day they lost shape something I have NEVER seen in any item of clothing, it has 3 percent spandex, 20 percent, & 77 rayon. The spandex threads in the material literally started to pull from fabric and pants looked they grew a beard?!?. I did not buy them to fit tight at 67yrs of age, comfort is more a priority of course I can't return them I put them on, 1 day
Ross for less means, less quality, won't buy there again, waste of money.

Ross Dress for Less in store customer service

There are 2 lines at the store; one for returns and one for sales. I was returning an item and stood in the return line the rude woman at the ONLY register that was open looked right at me and didn't guide me to use only the sales line. When I saw that she kept taking only customers in the sales line and didn't offer to help me with my return I asked her if I'm in the correct line for a return. She said no it's one line, I asked her why she didn't tell me that before in the mean time the other mine got 4 people longer. And I was returning ONE item! Very rude! There's never staff there to help! And worse why are there 2-line one for returns and one for sales if they are not being used that way! I will never shop here again!

Ross Dress for Less racism

On September 2, 2019, I went to the Ross store located in The Loop to change some shirts that my wife had given me but that didn't fit me because of the size, so I decided to change them for a larger size, At that time I approached the line of changes and who attended me was the Manager of the local mrs. Katy, unaware of her last name, indicating that she should have the receipt of the purchase, at that time I told her that I did not have it because it was a gift that my wife had given me and therefore some of the price tags did not have them either. shirts that I wanted to change, Mrs. Katy tells me that I could not make the changes since they did not have the price tags, I told her that she should give me some solution, she tells me that those brands of shirts did not sell them in the store, to I replied that yes, that my wife had bought them at ROSS, I felt at that moment as if she was assaulting me, doubting my integrity by telling me in a few words a liar or opportunist, I insisted that yes, that my wife I had bought them there, she challenged me by telling me to look for shirts of the same brand in the store and take them to the cash register to see if I could do something. I immediately went to the men's department and immediately took the shirts of the brand indicated above and took them, to which she replied that they were not the same shirts, being the same brand proving to her that if ROSS STORE did sell those shirts, I asked Mrs. Katy why I made it so difficult since in other opportunities I have made changes of clothing that I have not had gifts from relatives in any store of the same company without any problem, for not continuing to argue with her I told her that I I will go to another store to make the change, which was the case. For this reason I let you know my disgust because I felt from her racist treatment for being Hispanic Puerto Riqueño and feeling my assent when speaking English. I hope that situations like these have a solution and that another client does not feel discriminated as I felt, and that the company has Store Managers that treat the client with ethics, respect and professionalism regardless of the nationality of the client. no more to add, Hector J Serrano

Ross Dress for Less horrible manager at ross store in hiram ga

Last week I had stopped by at Ross Store in Hiram GA to shop for a dress, and I paid using a merchandise voucher. I had forgotten how much I had left on the merchandise voucher, and noticed a $20.00 something $ amount written on the card in red along with another amount in black ink. So I assumed I didn't have enough on the card and took my credit card out to pay for whatever is left over. But instead the cashier handed me the printed receipt, so I thought I had exact amount for that days purchase. So I handed the cashier the merchandise voucher and left as I was shopping during my lunch break. Upon returning I noticed that there was a balance left on the card, so I returned back after work hoping that the cashier would remember me. Unfortunately, the cashier was off for the day, so a cashier called one of the managers to help me. The manager walked towards me barely making eye contact, and not a smile. Before I could explain, she took my receipt and left stating that she will need to check the video and would take a while. She returned and while handing the receipt saying "she returned the card back to you, and that it shows in the Video. Again, not a smile and with minimum eye contact handed me my receipt and left. While she was leaving I told her what I had in my hand was my credit card and asked her why she thought I was lying. Then on her way back she whispered something to several of her staff and they began staring at me like I had commited murder. I then asked the cashier to talk to the Store Manager; Myra. She walked towards the register where the transaction was rung and opened the register and looked inside the deposit bag and didn't find anything. She then searched the trash can and handed me 2 merchandise vouchers and asked me if that was mine. I described the amount written in red and the amount written in black. She then began searching the entire trash can while talking to security over the microphone. And lo and behold there it was in the trash can. I said that's it - she then looked at the receipt and reconfirmed with security for the amount which clearly stated the balance on the merchandise voucher which was $5.90. Not a big amount, and had I known I would have to go through the rigmarole, I would not have stopped by. She embarrsssed me in front of other customers and judged me wrong. I don't think she deserves to be a manager, if she cannot go to the extent of understanding and just stopping to listen to a customer. Instead all she did was judge me. You are wrong woman ! I admire Myra for going to the extent of listening to me and going that extra mile to go through the trash - kudos to her !

Ross Dress for Less aldo pocketbook

I bought the above pocketbook in your 8800 W. Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas store on August 10, 2019. I returned to this location yesterday August 23, 2019 to return or receive credit because the bag broke, just falling off my shoulder. I had the bag for twelve (12) days! The total price with tax is $35.71. I was told by your nasty return person that since I used the bag Ross would not take it back! I was shocked, what kind of policy is this that you buy a product and DON'T use it! Why buy anything? You are the only store that works like this!

I have bought many items at Ross and never had a problem, after many years this is the first time I have a problem and this happens. I am not a happy Ross customer! I don't understand how you can think that people are going to buy products just to keep hanging in their closet! That's one way for a company to make MONEY and lose your customers! Unless there is a favorable outcome for me, I am done with Ross!

I would appreciate a reply.

Ross Dress for Less a supervisor

On August 23, 2019 I was on the schedule from 6:00 pm- 11:00 pm at Ross store Pinecrest 2173 and Lillian is the supervisor (Mod) and every time she is (Mod) she is lazy she never wanna give me my breaks she ignores me every time I ask for my breaks and get mad at me because I ask for my brake she get attitudes and beat me to the store manager and try to get me in trouble saying I give her attitudes in all I be asking for is my break that she don't be wanna give me and it's against the law to refuse any associates of there breaks so today she refuse me of my 30 min lunch break she even got mad at me and told me instead of clocking out at 11pm to clock out at 10:30pm all because she didn't want me to take my lunch break and this is not the first time it happened to me alot if times another time she refuse me of my brake and I let her know that I really had to use the bathroom badly she argued with me about my break again and I'm telling her im bout to really urinate on myself I literally had to run to the bathroom trying to make it and ended up urinating on myself my panties was a lil wet in the middle..it's really not fair and this what she does every time it's always a problem when u ask for a brake people call the Ross store to speak to the (Mod) Every time she never wanna get the phone when associates ask for help in the front she don't respond to a while later.. she act lazy I just don't feel it's right that I have to get in trouble in be threatened to be fired just cuz I'm not getting my rightfully breaks like nothing happens to her she just acts like she don't care and it's not right my job be on the line cuz of her and all I be wanting is my breaks and I get in trouble they don't wanna hear nothing and make it seem like I'm the problem when I'm a good worker it's against the law to refuse me of my breaks I work hard for!It's Just Not Right!
