Popeyes

On September 4, 2023, my husband and I decided to try a Popeye's fast food restaurant. We were anxious to try the restaurant, and had coupons, which was an extra incentive to go.

We each were supposed to have three chicken tenders, a biscuit, a side and a drink. The chicken was so sparse and stringy, and had so much coating, we each had maybe 5 solid bites of chicken. The dipping sauces were terrible. The biscuit was hard and cold...didn't come close to melting the butter we put on them. My husband liked his side of rice and beans, but my coleslaw was so disgusting I only took two bites and threw it away. I guess the coke was ok, but not as good as a Pepsi.

I was so disappointed in the food and service that I will never return to this restaurant, and I am absolutely furious that we wasted our $14.15 for literally a few bites of mediocre chicken. Our financial budget is tight, which is why the coupons were enticing. I will make sure to tell everyone I know how truly terrible the food is at this franchise.

I was at the Chicago, 6400 N Sheridan Rd, Chicago store, on 09/01/20023 at 7:42 pm and waited for 5 minutes for assistance. I countened 10 staff memberbers, plus someone who said they were the store manager. Short young Afro/American man and was told the store was in a management team , so there was no sericeses, no services to be rendered. There was an Uber/Grubhub/Doordash person ahead of me. Yet, services were paid for. But NOT rendered.

You cannot have associate meetings, closing all services during service hours.

I'm mildly allergic to shellfish so I didn't think it would be a problem to eat at this restaurant on August 31st in Mississippi when I was traveling. However I was completely unaware that they cook all of their foods in the same fryer so if course I broke out on a pretty good rash on my face and hands and mouth. For a company that makes millions every year you think they could afford ONE extra fryer per restaurant. That would show they really care about their customer base.

At approximately 4pm today Friday September 1st 2023 we went through the drive thru and ordered the 8 piece original chicken family meal. We got home I started with the kids plates one got a leg the other got a thigh so starred to make adults and there was only 4 pieces left then called the store and told them she said bring the receipt and exactly what we gave you i said the kids already ate she hung up on me went to the storeand the man insisted I was a lier and was so rude to me but then put 2 pieces in a box and threw it to counter and said next time bring it all back to prove it I said i would have but didnt notice until after making kids plates he said how convenient

I had coupon $22.99 for 10c with sides, they charged $37.95 and wouldn't take coupon, and top it off they gave me wrong order, store# 10524 I called them and they want answer phone, call corporate nothing but a machine. Honestly I feel they owe me my $ back. Someone needs to contact me [protected]@yahoo.com, husband went back into Popeyes due to work shoving food into his hands and tell them order wrong but they told him nothing they can...well our $ isn't free and order should had be right

1637 W Floyd Baker Blvd. Gaffney Sc 29341 I went to this locations 6:30pm to order a quick meal sat @ the drive thru for 15/20mins and a lady was rude I pulled around to the window to see what was the problem with her disrespect and she told me to move from HER window I asked for corporate number to make a complaint she said it was on the door of the restaurant (lie) I walked in to ask her once again what's corporate number she REFUSE to give me that information I asked for her name she refuse that as well she said she doesn't have to give me that information & that she don't know what to tell me. told me to get out of the store she was hostile the cameras would give a better picture bout the conduct of this employee I take this very serious it is the highest level of disrespect (don't know her name she was a black female with blond hair.) 09/31/2023

Hey this is former employee sharrell fields. Im here because im filing a complaint on this establishment, i recently started 08/23 and its been good so far but i haven’t had a break at all since i started which is fine. im scheduled 9am-4pm or 9:30am-4pm ive been to work on time everyday, yesterday they were late opening the store but we handed it, now they have multiple people call out everyday with no consequences cause they still be scheduled. Today i work 9-4 and i got compliments all day for having the drive thru line clear from the morning shift managers josh, night shift managers come in and @4 i started to stock up my area for the next worker, the other day i stayed a 1hr and 30 mins past my scheduled time waiting on a worker but i couldn’t do that today i stayed until 4:15 but my manager on morning shift josh told me i could leave and he told night shift manager cora i was off and he named everyone who got off @4-430 so i was finna clocked out and night shift manager cora came to me saying i had to stay until the other worker come which was 5 and i couldn’t and josh already replaced my spot with someone else so i was good, and i told her i couldn’t my ride outside and i get off @4 i can’t still 5 and i haven’t had a break at that . she replied saying why you called your ride i said i didnt my ride be outside everyday @4 cs thats what im scheduled so she said clock out and i can go but she circle my name and i didnt know why until i leave and the director tells me im fired bc im demanding shifts and calling out never demand no shifts

On 8/24/2023 I was at Popeyes in Henrietta New York at about 9:30 pm at the drive thru I sit there for afew minutes, I beep my horn one time do to not been acknowledged at that time staff said something that I did not understand I ask are you closed and staff stated yeah, I proceed to leave, I noticed that customer inline behind me was in conversation with drive thru staff, I went inside and ask why was I told that you was closed, Staff that was on register asked staff that was working drive thru in a joking manner why did she say that she said because I beep the horn, I stated that is very unprofessional and I will be contacting Headquaters. All staff was very unprofessional.

Popeyes uses doordash to deliver their orders. The driver called me to say he was at my door but I did not find him anywhere. When he told me the address he was at, I realized that he was actually no where close to my home. He marked it as delivered even though he did not actually deliver the food to me. I was on the phone with him for almost 10minutes, with him explaining that it was not his fault that doordash gave him the wrong address. But it was his fault that he marked it as delivered, because now Popeyes believes that I got my food when in actuality I didn’t. I have no idea where the food was supposedly delivered to.

I've been trying to get in contact with support about my most recent order but the support chat is broken. I’ve tried emailing different addresses to get a response but I still have not heard back from them. It’s been almost a week now. I’ve attached screenshots of the broken chat and emails I’ve sent to Popeyes with no response back.

I was returning transit from spain on the 23rd august by pegasus airline and visited popeyes at Sabiha airport Turkey. They did not have any food at 10 pm ( only chicken nuggets) not coke or drinks and the staff were really inprofessional and not up to Popeyes Standards.

Instead of appologizing he was telling me to go aways in a very disrespctul manner. Believe it is not up to Popeys standards and especially staff at the airport need to speak English and be professional, not staff insulting people in in bad manners. Thank you

I just visited your Scottsburg Indiana location at the drive-through. My order came to $31.08. They asked me to pull forward and they would bring it up. I pulled forward 23 minutes later I had to park my car and go in and check on the order. First they couldn’t find the order, second when they gave me the order, they thought it was mine. It was all caught in, correct nothing was right. Third, when the manager came up and she got very very very discourteous and rude and she actually got so mad that she rattled up a piece of paper and actually threw it towards the counter and stormed off. The manager was rude. The store was not even busy. There were two people at the drive-through and two people actually in the restaurant. There is no excuse for your employees to treat customers the way I was treated I will never go back, and I will tell everyone I know not to go there.
