Popeyes

I went into store 2295 for lunch today, July 17th 2023 at 11:39 am, and there was some Popeyes corporate pig in there sprawled out over the table with his office. I tried to enjoy my lunch, but my appetite was lost due to listening to him talk on the phone about the correct way to fire people. You could tell he really enjoyed screwing with people's lives. I was sick to my stomach. that is conversations that can be done from his office. the store served me an amazing lunch, piping hot and fresh, I was ready to dig in, but listening to this pig, I had to get up and leave. just because he has a big paycheck and is some big boss does not mean he can act that way in front of customers. when we go in and pay for our meal, that is our dining room, not his office. I felt so bad for the staff there. when I spoke to the manager I could tell his hands were tied because the pig out ranked him. people like that should not be allowed to go into the stores and act like they own the world.

I suggest there are so many things wrong with this store that only a company rep should surprise visit the store on High Street in Longview TX.

I will never go back. What made me write this is the 10 customers that drove out of the drive thru while I waited behind the man at the order speaker. He was a very patient man. I had one of my kids go to the dine in door and it was locked and no sign to say why. It was 6 pm So we continued to wait. I finally ask the man in front of me to see if the 3 cars I had seen pull around had got their order or just drove off like the others. He pulled up and finally got his order. When I got the

“Lady” at the window I said why is it taking so long. She said people are stupid and cannot figure out the microphone was broken and to pull around and order. I asked why she didn’t put a sign up over the order mic to let customers know She just snarled and I asked you don’t really give a [censored] do you and she just shook her head. A younger employee came over a told the window employee ( I assume was the Mgr that he was going to smoke a cig and walked away without being acknowledged. My food. Was cold and rubbery like it had been sitting there most of the day. This was the second time this past month I tried to get something decent and the mic was broken then and this day. As I drove off in appx 5 minutes that kid was still leaning on the building lighting another cig.

A few weeks ago I experienced the worst culinary dissapointment of my life. First of all the wait for our food was interminably long and by the time we finally recieved our meal the food was cold. We ordered a 6 piece nugget deal which came with a side of biscuits and gravy. The chicken was greasy, overcooked, and lacked any sort of flavor. It was if they had deep fried a piece of rubber. I don't know what the hype around biscuits and gravy is all about, because these were disgusting. The gravy had seeped into the biscuit, but it didn't make much difference because it was already as dense and as tasteless as a hockey puck. I would rather starve than eat popeyes again. No really, I would.

7/12/23 We ordered 10 piece box of CLASSIC chicken for $19.99 in the drive thru. Also, we had a coupon for $3.00 off of a $15.00 order. Once we got home we had a combination of SPICY & CLASSIC. The receipt said 2 wings...we had 4 wings & the chicken was over cooked, dry & very disappointing. The wings were nonedible.

We usually pick up the chicken sandwiches & have never been disappointed. We might order sandwiches again but will not be ordering chicken.

I would hope you would compensate us after this disappointing dinner.

On 7/12/23 around 3 pm. I wanted to try your ghost pepper wings in a combo. I got what I ordered, but, I must have gotten some wings that have been sitting under the heat lamps for some time. The flavors were there, but, they were very dry and over cooked. The biscuit was also very dry. The mashed potatoes with gravy and they tasted like instant mixes.

I will say the service was good and quite friendly.

The store I went to has only been in operation for around one year. Located on Cheney Hwy in Titusville Florida.

I was the only car in line and I think the only customer at the time.

We ordered online and paid for: 2 pc white meat spicy and Red Beans and Rice

2 pc white meat spicy and mashed potatoes/gravy

When we got there they had no order for us. They asked us to pull forward until they found our order. I waited 10 more minutes and finally went in and showed my receipt. She went over and picked the receipt out and filled it.

We got: 1 drumstick and 1 thigh and the other 1 wing and a thigh.

Also the speaker was not working so you pull to the window.

My take on this is don't order online and surly don't pay online.

2 employees were seated when I came in to get the order and no one seemed concerned about anything. I'm retired from pharmacy/manager and I know how things run. Mistakes are made but there must be an urgency to correct them. I am not mad and will continue to trade there. It is the only one close to our house. Just an FYI and nothing needs to be done on my end. Thank You Mike Cummins

I went to store number 13493 this evening (7/823) @ 7:03 pm. I ordered an 8 piece chicken meal, ALL WHITE meat. I arrived home and found I had been “stiffed”. I actually had three thighs (dark meat) and four legs; no telling why I did not receive 8 pieces. Maybe it is because I am white as a matter of fact! Anyway, I’ll go to Southern Classic Fried Chicken if I want to get a satisfactory order.

07/3/2023 8 pc family meal with beans and rice @ 4:30. Reading Road, Ohio.

This location had not got one order correct. Again today. I understand people make mistake. I sit there and watch if the even check the order? Then when you tell them its no correct you get attitude. I will not go to the other location in Cincinnati due to the same experience. As a professional my self I would want to know about problems. Not sure you do. Just the same I want to give feed back for Cincinnati, OH.
