Panera Bread Four cheese pizza

On 6/19/2021, I visited Cafe #203952 while visiting family in Pennsylvania (I live in Maryland.) I placed an order for (1) Four Cheese Pizza and (1) Green Passion Smoothie. I left the store with my order and once I reached my destination, I was ready to eat. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't completely cooked and taste horrible. I was very disappointed, especially since I live over 3 hours away from Pennsylvania.

I would really appreciate a full refund of my order which cost me $14.50. I have a receipt as proof of what I paid.

I look forward to a resolution on this matter. I can be reached at [protected]@aol.com.

Thank you,
Laurice T.

Desired outcome: Refund

Panera Bread Product / service

Service: My experience was horrible! New employee was on the register and was not quite familiar with your menu, so when asked about a item she wasn't sure about it and how to ring up your items. I ordered your new terriyaki chicken bowl and a frozen strawberry lemonade slush (receipt says 16oz), well what I rec'd was not what you advertised for either items. I questioned the lady who was preparing the food and she just said yes it was correct. Oh and I forgot to mention, your cashier didn't know how to 3:give change back w/o the register telling her, she closed her drawer and owed me $3.01. So for $16.99 I wasted my money! Don't think I will visit again.. My name is Carla Johnson & I visited Panera @ 3107 Gammon Lane in Clemmons NC Cafe # 204990 on 6/6/21 @ 3:49pm.. may I mention your dining tables were dirty also, just wasn't a good experience. My email is [protected]@yahoo.com I would like a comment back please.

Desired outcome: I would like to hear from Panera Office

Panera Bread on line ordering

Please tell me why I can not order on Tuesday 13 bagels online for pickup.
Currently it can not be done on your website.

I would strongly suggest you review your takeout programing for your takeout menu and evaluated changing it so I can order my 13 bagels online for pickup.

I would think Panera is more suffocated regarding there online ordering and would give this suggestion serious consideration

Panera Bread Coffee

I love Panera Bread and have been a fan of yours for years! But lately your excellent coffee, both dark roast and light roast, has been very weak compared to the way it used to be at two of the Fredericksburg VA locations. My daughter first called it to my attention and it became obvious to me as well. I'm not seeking any remuneration. I just wanted to let you know.

Panera Bread Gun control support

Dear Panera Executive,
I am a proud American citizen, veteran, homeowner, and business owner. I pride myself in being involved and educated in topics that affect my family, me personally, my businesses and society in general. I dig deeply into issues and absolutely do not glean my information from newscasts or political bloating. Unfortunately, most of the population and businesses throughout the country fail to be as thorough. Because of this they fall into the mass hysteria or ‘cancel culture' so prominent in our society today. Burger King is one of the corporations that has placed themselves in this group. It has been publicized that the Burger King decision makers have instituted anti-firearm corporate policy, have pressed lawmakers to enact further strict legislation and/or contributed to gun control initiatives. I am sure that your decision makers have done this to look good in the media. However, as you have not sufficiently investigated the issues you only add to the misinformation and falsehoods of such a volatile topic. The current state of ‘gun safety or control' centers around more laws or restrictive ownership. "Gun safety" is often cloaked in language that essentially bans certain guns, ammunition or magazine capacities while criticizing award winning programs like Eddie Eagle and demonizing education-based organizations such as the NRA. Calling certain firearms "weapons of war" and "assault weapons" while limiting how many rounds a citizen can carry for self-protection or creating gun registries is a non-starter for me. It is proven that when enforced that the laws on the books sufficiently protect communities from gun violence. The issue is that the laws are not enforced, and mental health issues are swept aside. These are the real issues that need exposure and support! Instead, we get sensationalized news clips and politicians demanding more control!
As evidence I give you Sarasota County in Florida. Sarasota County has worked diligently prosecuting crimes, including gun crimes. Crimes have been reduced by 52% since 2009. This reduction represents the largest crime reduction in the state of Florida for law enforcement agencies serving populations of 100, 000 or more. These strides were made without infringing on citizen's constitutional right to keep and bear arms, more succinctly stated, they went after criminals, not lawful gun owners.
I and many citizens in this county support businesses related to the firearms industry and those who protect their family and property with firearms your organization seeks to ban. I cannot support that.
I am sure that it will not extremely impact your bottom line financially but, I, my family and those that I can influence have stopped and will no longer patronize any Burger King facility again.
This is submitted with the sincere intention that your company will change course and see the damage your actions contribute to the true American Way.

Desired outcome: change position

Panera Bread Separation of items into separate bags/boxes

I have had multiple situations when the sweet bagels like cinnamon crunch were placed in the same bag with plain bagels and I complained many times to the store. In my most recent order the nut-containing pastries were mixed together with other pastries in the same box and I have someone who is allergic to nuts. The store manager explained they minimize number of boxes used and are allowed to combine nut containing items with other items.
Note that Panera app does not have special instructions options and this leaves customers like me without ability to voice their preference.
While random cross contamination cannot be prevented Panera should be able to establish the rules by which some items must be put in separate boxes. Saving the environment is important but saving customers from potential sickness that can threaten their lives is not less important.

Desired outcome: feedback on action taken

Panera Bread Service

Just had lunch at the one on Bell Road in Glendale Az. Food was great as usual. But I was surprised that we had to pick up our food at the kitchen and bring back to our table. We had soup snd sandwich. Both in our 80s. Having been a waitress for many years I had no problem. But I thought this was a law suit waiting to happen. I can just see some old lady spilling hot soup or ptripping. Plus no service or tips for help. I mentioned it to the cashier and she said they were suppose to offer customers someone to help them but they didn't. Panera I'd better than this. It's not McDonnalds.

Desired outcome: Just a thought

Panera Bread Customer service

I ordered a Greek salad online and when I get home found that they gave me three onion rings and a cup of salad dressing. So I called the Henrietta, NY Hylan Drive location And was told that was what I ordered. I then said didn't anybody with a little common sense figure out that I made a mistake ordering? I was told that they get that order all the time! I then said maybe there was a problem with their online ordering. Couldn't someone had called? They told me there was no problem with the online ordering and that They did not have time to call me. If every order looked suspicious they would be on the phone all day! I then told them I expected a refund and they said that they could possibly send me a voucher but had to check with the store manager the next day! This is truly unacceptable.

Desired outcome: Apologies and refund

Panera Bread Curbside pickup - never received order - need a refund

On April 25, 2021, I placed a curbside pickup order using the Panera app. I received a confirmation that my order would be ready shortly, so I headed to CAFE #[protected] Ellis Road Fayetteville, GA 30214. After waiting in the parking lot for about 20 minutes, a Panera employee came to my car window and asked what I was waiting on. I gave her my information and she went back into the cafe. I waited another 20 minutes and my order was not delivered nor did anyone come out to let me know there was a problem. I have been a regular customer, but am now hesitant to use this cafe again. I would very much appreciate a refund in the amount of $14.96.

Thank you for your help with this issue.

Panera Bread Food

My husband and I have been going to you restaurant for at least 10 years. In the past couple of years we have noticed a large decline in your business with the quality of your food. On several occasions with our take out orders, the food is not prepared correctly. We order 2 oatmeal's and one is so lumpy and the other is filled with water. Sandwiches are mostly lettuce with enough meat to fill 1/4 of the whole sandwich. The blueberry muffins have maybe 1 blueberry per muffin. At this point we no longer have confidence in your business and no longer will be a customer.

Panera Bread Discount not applied to order

I received an email from Panera offering 50% off soups for earth day only. I took my elderly mother there because she loves the chicken wild rice soup. She ordered 2 bowls and I ordered a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup. He said he had no way to enter our 50% off. Not very happy with an offer that can't be honored. This occurred at the McDonough Ga Panera on 4/22/21. Receipts read the time as 4:52pm. We waited in the drive thru for over 30 minutes. Very slow service every time I visit. I am a rewards member. Panera Bread Service at front counter

We were at the new Panera Bread in Marysville Ohio 43040 this morning [protected]. My friend asked for a coffee mug instead of a paper cup. He was told that they were not using mugs. My friend said that they were using mugs in Columbus Ohio. The lady at the counter suggested that he go to Columbus then. Myself was trying to make a selection off the menu and to my surprise it was the lunch menu and it was only 9:00am. When I said something about it only being 9:00 am I was told to go to Columbus as well. I feel that we were treated rather rudely and that something should be done to correct the problem. I Also ordered the breakfast sandwich with an over easy egg. It can out with a scrambled egg. This was the second time this has happened to me at this location. And to top off our unpleasant visit was when we went for our second cup of coffee ALL of the pits were empty. I had to go to the kitchen area to tell the manager of this. We really like Panera Bread and upon how badly we were treated I feel that we should be compensated for our trouble. I even said something to the manager of the rudeness and I got the impression that he didn't really care. I will be looking forward to being compensated as well as my wife and our two friends.
Thank You

Panera Bread Object in soup

Coral Springs restaurant - 2015 N. University Dr.
Order # 516408 04/19/2021
Bowl Vegetable Sprouted Grain Soup

NOTE: I attempted to use the Panera website contact form several times on several browsers and received error messages each time.

My husband bought the 10 Vegetable Soup, which he buys for me occasionally. When eating this particular order, I bit into an object that hurt my teeth. We saved it and brought it to the same location the next morning. The manager had no idea what it was and took a photograph of it, and also explained a previous incident he experienced at another Panera location regarding wood shavings in a soup product. Relatedly, my husband bought the same product a few weeks ago and later found out we received the wrong soup, which was replaced when staff was notified. I am disappointed in this product and regret the experience. Please respond with a proper means of rectifying this situation.

Panera Bread Wait time and customer service.

Hello, I have been going to Panera Bread in a gateway located in Brooklyn. The wait time is over 20 minutes and the people who serve the food have nasty attitudes. The manager that was on duty didn't really care about my complaint and he allowed the young lady to be rude. I ordered the four cheesy pizza and I literally watched as this person took her time and then left it along the side after it came out of the oven. I believe she was overwhelmed but still that's no excuse. You guys need to be a little friendly to your customers. If we stop patronizing your restaurant where what would happen to your business, train your team and be a better manager. I wish I could have gotten the manager name. He was short light skin and bold. Concerned customer.

Desired outcome: disappointement

Panera Bread Sandwiches and job training

I go to rolling road Panera in VA once a week. It's been down hill, and a shame to admit I need to there because my boyfriend needs to make healthier food choices than fast food.

I would drive 10 miles away if I could to falls church Bailey's location in VA - just for better customer care and line workers that know what they're doing matters. Order accuracy is so valuable and speaks volumes!

Over last 10 Years the rolling road location has gone from rough, to mediocre to disgraceful customer and management customer service.

1. The staff barely know menu - when I worked there in 2007-8 we had know 12! Sandwiches by heart - now there's 6 if you're lucky and cashiers barely smile and greet you! If my managers back then - when got 8/hr!- saw me sluggish at work and being in my phone literally was a write up on spot!. Staff used to cry - no joke - if you dragged your feet around pretending to work and you got it worse if you were Katty chatty and standing doing nothing - like seen many many cashiers do over years at rolling road. It's unacceptable for any front end staff to show the company lacks customer caring!

2. Years after I left the menu changed - it always did every season but items would come back! You would await the day for chili soup and a rare steak sandwich or seasoned Fuji apple salad - obviously they sold out for diversity and went mainstream - serving pizza and Asian bowls?! Why? Flocks of people would come just for your sandwiches and the quality back in early 2000's was unmatched! You got quality food and you - as customer - knew it. Saw it.
(See my boyfriend's sandwich below - it's the new standard!) if staff or management cared check line workers were "cared for". Wouldn't be playing roulette with my sandwich ingredients — - I expect the worse bc if they get all the ingredients THIS sandwich (below) was suppose to have I'd literally cry of joy. So now Panera's motto is expected the worse that way "promised order accuracy" will shock you!'

3. Management back in my time at baileys crossroads va made you care for customers. You knew the same if not more than management bc YOU were in the trenches! You could fix issues before management could bc you HAD the knowledge and training or least exposure enough through the day to see patterns were building. And management was OPEN to hear and improve issue with quick response. My issue today - have one 1 out of 4 times I go there bc it's clear management pits 1/2 effort and thus workers follow and put 1/2 of that (1/4) effort into doing their jobs — - my issue. Needed kiosk get me receipt to expense for my work... I should've been able to talk to CASHIER for 3-5 mins and got answer or directed to management for resolution of 10 mins max. The issue wasn't complicated. I know I had the very first kiosks at my store 08'.
But guess things have changed and not for the better... why would they?

Well, here's reality. Got my order placed kiosk. Went cashier, said "can I have reprint of my receipt kiosk order". She stood still looks down her phone as if to Google? the answer. Then mumbles something and walks away and "gets manager" (at that time I was pissed, why would you void your customer and assume they know
Your going get someone help them?)
Manager comes frantically, you can see clearly they're understaffed. She runs to attend the line workers and giving other customers their orders. Why? As manager can't you delegate your skills set should be used more wisely. It's one thing to support your staff it's another to not trust your line staff do their job and work as team.

I had to insist TWICE I need my receipt as I annoyed her with it bc her attention was clearly in too many places. She said, they'll get it for you - as to infer the line staff had answers.
THE RECEIPT you get with your food at the line counter isn't the same as the one kiosk or cashiers give you! Management seeing tickets all day - as she clearly did the dispersing of food to customers from pick up line counter should know that — - I look at her in fury and disappointment.

I had this problem BEFORE. Usually I don't have the TIME OR ENERGY. but today I had enough!

Told management please look in system and here's my name on your flat screen. I'll wait for your abilities to solve this in the next few minutes. (Basic customer care orientation tip: never ignore customer and toss them aside. You provide a solution or an alternative)
After 20 minutes. A long while after my order was done. She hands me receipt in 8X11 sheet. No explanation. No apology. No basic care.
Only a whisper from underneath the cashiers watching as if to infer that I was very difficult.

I called 1800 customer care service and waited some more! Because it's disappointing to been bounced from Cashier to management to line worker and force management to help me. That was a training moment. One that managers I had in baileys location in 2008 would not allow
GOSSIP or commentary in front of customers. Rather pull you the side and TRAIN YOU how'd handle it next time on your OWN. Bc that's leadership: delegating over multitasking; training in tough moments over showing stress bc forced get a solution; and caring from customers over dismissing issue to lower staff.

I had rougher moments than having a customer as for receipt. I had difficult times where I was in charge of 3-5 cashiers, mid lunch rush, and all mishaps fell on me. Monitoring cell phone use, and cleaning routinely every hour. Bc if didn't keep BUSY showing I was working. You got nasty chat in office asking why you CAME TO WORK or didn't TAKE CARE of the store needs.
These are Basics. But Sadly a luxury nowadays to find in very few Panera locations.

I've grew up in Paneras. Worked in high school to freshman year college. Then studied at mosaic location in VA for years, then falls church one, and baileys was next my condo post college. It's heartbreaking to see how it lacks so much of the warmth it sought to bring to families and working adults camping there.

THE NEW standard CHIPOTLE AVOCADO sandwich — - 2 table spoons of chicken and 1/2 sandwich is covered by burnt avocado that was pushed to the side — to avoid customer from seeing 1/2 sandwich is EMPTY for $6.99. And you only get half of a sandwich — Sooo let's see 1/2 sandwich with 1/2 of that empty so I paid for 1/4 sandwich with believe would get "all its ingredients". Yep that describes the store perfectly!

Desired outcome: Customer care orientation for management and staff

Panera Bread Packing & Delivery

Our order included a Teriyaki Chicken bowl that was (packed?) delivered on its' side so the bowl leaked sauce all over the bag and dripped on our desk and floor when I handed the bowl to the employee to eat. Also, the door dash driver handed the food to me through his car window so he wouldn't have to get out. The window wasn't opened completely so I had to take the bag separately from the box but the driver wasn't paying attention and the box almost fell.
I have pictures of the mess on my phone but I can't upload them because I work in a hospital and we're not allowed to send emails from personal applications.

Desired outcome: Credit for order #[protected] dated 03/24/21

Panera Bread An unfair situation

I live in franklin park, IL. I visited the one on North Ave, Elmwood Park, IL and the one on River Forest, IL. Every time we decide to go there, there is people sitting in all the tables, one on a table for four, working on computers, others just talking on the phone, and because I have seen it, some stays there for hours at a time. Yesterday morning I visited the one in river forest wanted to have some breakfast, no tables available, I order and stand there for more than 15 minutes, nobody move, I was almost leaving when a girl move from a stool, I had asked her if she was living and she said no I am actually waiting to see if somebody move from a large table. I walked to get my order and then she left moving to a bigger table sitting there with her computer I sat then at the stool. While there two senior ladies ordered and stand there waiting for a table, nothing happened, they went to the manager and complain about the situation that I myself was experiencing seeing all those people sitting in these large tables some just looking throughout the glass windows. Those ladies talked to me in their way out and told me they are not coming to Panera anymore because this is an all the time situation. I went also and complain to the manger, a young guy that hardly paid attention to my complain. In these times when because of the pandemic tables are less, why Panera is allowing people and individuals sitting there for such long period without caring about the people standing there waiting for tables, this situation happens at every Panera. These two are something of all the time, even before the pandemic it was the same situation. This is very unfair for customers that are going there for breakfast, for lunch etc. I don't think is even good for the business that is loosing customers because of all this unfairness going on. I myself am not going there anymore until I could see this situation improved. There are many other restaurants with better accessibility. I really hope I hear from you.

Desired outcome: I would like to hear from you people, because I thing this is an unfair situation.

Panera Bread service and product

date 3/10/21
location Monroe NY
Cafe # 204370
order # 1343060
Cashier says Steven (but a girl was the Rude one )

1st the worker was extremely RUDE !
I was traveling with my son, he had just had surgery and could not walk .
I went thru the drivethru which i have never done before .
It was a night mare ! It was not busy at all, and no one was behind me in the drivethru . so I asked to explain a few different items and it was like i was a BOTHER to her. I put my order in and I literally repeated it because she was talking over me, so I have no idea how she could hear what I was ordering anyway . So we got our order which totaled $28.95, and were on our way .
We ate in route, so after all of that, we got NOTHING we ordered, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was correct ! I don't usually complain, but the whole experience was so terrible, something should be done !
I would like a complete refund if this is possible because we did not receive the service we obviously paid for .

Thank You,
