McDonald's unsanitary and disgusting!!!

After ordering my food I went to the lady's room to wash my hands and what I saw was extremely disgusting. I saw a young female employee exit the smelly bathroom stall after using it and she walked right past me to exit the restroom without washing her hands! So I said to her "Aren't you going to wash your hands?" And she just gave me a rude snobby look and exited the restroom. I left the restroom; went up to the front counter and was disgusted to see the same female employee handling the hamburgers without any gloves. I immediately canceled my order and asked the cashier to please get the manager. The cashier said the manager was on lunch and would be back soon. After waiting for a long time I couldn't wait any longer and had to leave. However, I will be filing a complaint because handling food without washing your hands or using gloves is how germs and diseases are spread! The female employee was a young overweight hispanic woman with dark hair and a name tag that said Ann. I won't eat at this McDonalds as long as it continues to employ unprofessional and unsanitary employees!

McDonald's drive through

I used Upton, birkenhead drive thru for a meal for my 4 yr old son and myself as a treat. Was asked to wait for my order (happy meal and chicken legend). After 30 mins of waiting I asked one of the staff who was passing to see where my order was, she said she would find out for me, but didnt return with any explanation, after 50 mins I went into the restaurant and spoke to a member of staff who said they didn't have a receipt for my order (I feel this could have been rectified when I originally asked after 30 mins of waiting) so I asked to see the manager for a refund. The manager just seemed to brush this off without much of an apology just saying they had no receipt for my order, ( the money had been taken out of my account) and made me feel like this was my fault. During this time I have my son crying as he wouldn't get his toy from a happy meal he was looking forward to.
Whilst I appreciate this is not a major issue for yourselves, and I was refunded the money owed, my complaint is the fact that I was blatantly ignored by the first member of staff I spoke to and the manager made me feel like I was at fault for something that I clearly was not.
The drive thru is supposed to be used for speed and convenience and waiting 50 minutes for absolutely nothing is a disgrace, especially with a 4 year old in tow.

McDonald's this franchise is nasty!

This place was horrible! This was the 2nd time in a week that I went to this store. The 1st time... I just gave the benefit of doubt that maybe they were short handed or something, but when I returned a couple of days later, it was like the garbage and trash had just piled up! Inside was equally bad. Looked as if the place hadn't been cleaned in a month. The health rating was 84 and I'm sure if it had been checked that week it would have been even lower. I went through the drive thru yesterday and the young lady handing me my food ... WIPED THE TOP OF MY DRINK WITH HER SHIRT ! Needless to say I threw it in the trash ! I'm not looking to get anything, I just think it needs to be handled. Very bad management!

Thank you for your time,
Susan Prince

I have never understood why people have such high expectations on fast food.

McDonald's staff

My son went into your argyle street Glasgow tonight the person that served him said the £20 note my son was paying with was fake . He said he had to keep it or if he gave him it back he would need to call the police . My son called me and I told him to tell the person to call the police as my son knew where he got the £20 they said they were not calling the police but were keeping the money . Why? I called your customer service number to get a telephone number so I could call the restaurant and speak to a manager I can't get an answer in the phone . I called the customer service back and they tried to phone but never got an answer . My son has been left in Glasgow 40 miles from home with no money . Is this some kind of con to steal £20 from a boy . The worse thing about this is he has been left stranded in Glasgow no money and 40 miles from home . If this £20 was fake my son certainly didn't know it he knows where he got the £20 from but why did they say that they would need to call the police and when my son told them to phone them they wouldn't why? I am absolutely disgusted

McDonald's about a gift card

On June 27, 2019, I went to the restaurant at the above location. My kind students had given me a gift card to your restaurants for 50 dollars. I went to the drive through because I was in a hurry and handed the girl the whole thing. I got only a large diet coke and asked the girl how much I had left, she told me about 49 dollars. She handed me the top portion and bottom portion of the card because just in case there was a problem and forgot or kept the actual gift card. I assumed she gave me everything back. Later I went to the macdonalds near my house and tried to use one of the pieces she gave me back and was told that that wasn't the actual card, that the actual card was bigger than that. I decided to go to the restaurant and talk to the manager onJuly 2, 2019. I gave them all my details, the approximate time I went through the drive through, my car colour, make and plate and my name and full name and phone number - they told me they would check the cameras and would get back to me in a few days. About half an hour later I got a call to tell me that they only kept video footage for 5 days and so the footage was no longer available. Also the girl told me that they had checked all transactions for that time between 5;30 to 6;30 give 30 minutes
more or less and no transactions had been found for that amount - that they had checked for the whole day and no transactions had been made with a gift card for one large diet coke. Now 49 dollars is not a great deal of money but it was to my students who are mostly refugees from Iraq, Syria and Burma and Somalia and this should never have happened or been handled the way it was because I don't believe it was ever investigated, not in half an hour. Can you please look into it for me, I have been a customer of yours forever and nothing like this has ever happened to me.

McDonald's coworkers

My daughter works at the McDonald's and has had coworkers threaten physical harm on her. Also one of the coworkers got mad at a customer and he threatened to kill him he also threatened physical harm on my daughter. specifically to hit her in the head and punch her in the face. The supervisor doesn't take any action against them. The guy got to go back to work for almost 2 weeks before being fired.

Your daughter should call the police immediately and press charges. I wouldn't let someone get away with threats of physical violence. If the manager won't take action, let the police handle it.

McDonald's service

Once again I am complaining about Greensburg, IN location. I have no problem with day time. It is after 2:00 pm that the service goes down hill. Spead in drive thur is so slow. It doesn't stay moving. Not very friendly or your stuck at box without anyone talking to you. Next like last night I was told my food was all in the bag so I pulled away. It wasn't I went in to get it. No one at counter. Final I was ask by a manager what I needed. An yes it was not may I help you. Manager #2 was talking like I wasn't even in there. Saying that I pulled away without my food. Wouldn't even make eye contact. (Women with short hair) I told them I was told it was all in the bag. This store needs to learn to check things better, make better food, train everyone the service with a smile and if you got time to lean got time to clean rule. The manager should of looked at me and addressed me. Should of said something to make things right. Should offer people something to get them to come back. Not sure who the owner of this location is, but they need to retrain people or have them hit the door. I worked for McDonald's as a crew person and a manager in Batesville, IN years ago. We were always testing people. Guess that isn't done anymore for crew or management. I have also worked in the resturant business for many years. Someone needs to get in there and do something. Everyone cpmplains about this location. I report.

McDonald's the staff, the unbelievable wait time, my order is never right.

The Johnson City, Tn. McDonalds's owned/operated by Jim Davis consistently makes mistakes and I am tired of it at this point. I have held my tongue for months. The wait time going through the drive thru is beyond ridiculous because they are always in there laughing and joking with one another instead of trying to provide a service I paid for, when they're actually at the paying window, I have time to read every sticker/decal on the windows multiple times before paying or getting my food. Majority (not all) of his staff is completely rude but all of that is fine because the three in Johnson City Jim Davis owns are all "short staffed" and that is why it takes so long or that is what I have been told each time I ask. I find that very hard to believe. I work by myself at my job that does involve more physical work and I can have everything done before they can and I'm in busy season. I will say, they normally hand me the correct food...normally. However, does your McDonalds's keep Diet Coke on hand? Because I'm very consistently given Dr. Pepper from all three locations...I don't want the sugar content in Dr. Pepper/Coke; it feels like I'm drinking syrup. I've gotten to the point I double check at the drive thru, payment window, and food receiving window they lie to me telling me it is Diet Coke when in fact it is not. In my mind this shows that your employees do not pay attention and/or there is horrible management. I'm not going there for the five star treatment. I just want my food in a timely manner, what I order to be correct, not sit in line for 15 minutes with two cars in front of me...TWO for 15 minutes, and employees that actually do their job. There was once I waited 20, but I forgave that because they needed to make my food "FRESH".
Because I have given YOU and JIM DAVIS my business, I also expect to be at work on time (FAST FOOD). I can go to Waffle House and get my food quicker and my order right faster than going to McDonalds's. I will admit I did get a tad rude with a lady at the window; my frustration is understandable.
Also, I could be wrong, but I think there are health violations. When I have time to go BACK into the line, again, to tell them they messed up, they take the drink that I have stuck a straw in and drank out of through the window itself. I really hope that is not a health hazard.
One more thing, make sure you actually offer the food you have on the menu at the drive thru. I ordered a Southern Style Chicken Sandwich (Bun, crispy chicken, and pickles) for them to tell me they couldn't make it, but its on the menu.
As I said, I have held my tongue in long enough. These issues need to be fixed and the problems I have had are beyond ridiculous.
I expect these problems to be fixed.

NOT EVERYONE IS YOU. EVERYONE SEES THE WORLD DiFFERENT. YOU DO NOT SPEAK FOR EVERYONE. As I said, I don’t want sympathy. Go back and read it. You’re choosing to almost make fun of me for it. I told a tiny tad of my story and you choose to criticize it AFTER YOU ASKED ME. I’m going to repeat this AFTER YOU ASKED ME. Don’t ask if you don’t want a response or the response is not to your liking.

Do you know how I felt that day? No, because you’re not me. You’re not me in anyway and I’m not you. I would never tell you to cry me a river for something you can’t help, ever. I would never say that to anyone. I have more respect for someone than that.

And again I will say YOU DO NOT SPEAK FOR EVERYONE. Just stop. Just stop. People react and feel things in different ways. I’m sorry, if I don’t/didn’t react the way you want/wanted me to.

Actually, I returned to going to the grocery store and meal prepping.

I am really, really done with this because we are clearly two different people who see the world differently.

I will read your next response, but I will not respond.

I hope you have a wonderful and blessed life. God bless you and be with you.

Um is not an answer!
”Wah wah wah, Rachel! Cry us a river!”

Me? After your comment? You told me to mention my disability, then when I do (over a McDonald’s complaint) tell me to cry a river about it? You really just crapped on someone who’s disabled and their disability that you know nothing about. You said in a smarty pants manner to cry over my disability...that actually does happen to some people when they’re alone; that’s their coping mechanism. I know a few people who do it. You don’t get to say one word about how they feel or how they handle themselves.

Quit acting like you get to speak for everyone, everyone is different and everyone’s story is different.

I’m sorry, but you don’t speak for everyone. I know that you put people down and from the bottom of my heart, I hope you as a person are not like this towards anyone else.

Just stop, please.

Mmm, nah, it’s not worth my time. Also, you’re the one that said if I had a disability I should mention it here, so I did. So, don’t tell me to cry a river when you said I should mention my disability.

I truly hope you have a wonderful life. God Bless and goodbye =).

P.S. This is about McDonald’s and their mistakes, nothing else. It’s a COMPlAINT BOARD; not an ARGUMENT BOARD.

Update by Rachel2610

Actually, I do have a disability which has required surgeries, ICU, many hospital stays, physical therapy too many times to count, and a lot of medicines since I was 14. Have you laid in a parking lot in the pouring rain waiting for the ambulance to get to you? You may have, I don’t know. I will be this way for the rest of my life. I can’t change it and neither can the doctors and I’m not looking for sympathy. I didn’t feel I needed to bring my health up.

I’m not what’s wrong with this country. I simply made the statement that not everyone is able to get off their butt and walk in. It’s a true, general statement that was not aimed at anyone in particular.

Everyone wants to argue...that’s what’s wrong with this country. I’m done.

Update by Rachel2610

SubSquirrel, you should consider someone’s physical ability before making the comment you did- this does not apply to me most days but other’s may not be able to get out of the car.
I have never been employed at McDonald’s...his name is posted on every window.

I made this complaint hoping that their service would at least improve. I did not post this to argue with someone. The responses you have given seems to be you just want an argument. I’m not going to give you that satisfaction.

The people I train if or when they mess up, I look at both sides. I expect them to improve their knowledge and create a great experience for the customer. Why not always try to improve?

As for the person who brought my mother into this, that’s completely off subject and uncalled for and just not something you say to someone.
By the way, she raised me very well.

You guys just want to argue and (as I said) I won’t give you that satisfaction...I made a complaint on a complaint board.

McDonald's treatment from manager

Rude service from Manager Lewellyn. He refused to honour vouchers we received from the app. We asked for the reason as it was very unclear to us, he made condescending remarks to make us look silly in front of several customers. He did the same to my 12-year-old daughter. When I asked him to act more professional, he twisted it around and accused me of threatening him. I explained that made an effort to drive down after securing vouchers from the app and we didn't need to be treated like scavengers. I own several businesses and explained to this young man that it was not about the dollar value of the meal it was about the principle of it all. I know it is not his problem the misleading promotions on the emails and app, nor the terrible functionality of the app itself. I did remind him that as a manager he did have a responsibility to provide good service to the people that walk into that premises. I hope that from this there is an opportunity to teach this young man who will continue to manager stores and work in that industry that personal pride does not rule all. I felt humiliated that as a customer in front of my children I was treated as if I was begging for food, when in fact we had what we believe was a perfectly valid promotional code and adequate funds to pay for it.

McDonald's service and product

Hasbrouck Heights McDonalds, is THE worst location of any "fast" food service. They are Sooooooooooo Sloooooooooooowwwwwwwwww. I complained last year. They have not improved AT ALL. You could die waiting on line inside or drive thru. They can't get a simple order of ONE LARGE DIET COKE right EVER. It is like Leo Gets says in Lethal Weapon. They F you at the drive thru. They are always out of products, they don't tell you thought that they are out of BBQ when you order your nuggets. They are always borrowing things including workers from Hackensack. This place needs to be shut down. They lose business by the minute when cars leave the line, even after they have ordered.

ABOMINABLE

McDonald's poorly managed restaurant.

On June 22 we stopped to have a late lunch while traveling across the country. The staff seemed to have no idea what they were doing. We joined 10 customers who had apparently been waiting a while for ordered food. When the orders came up non of them where correct. Our order took 35 minutes! IT was total chaos behind the counter. The manager is yelling. No one seemed to know what they were doing. Everyone in the restaurant was disgusted.

Here is the address,

329 2nd St. Williamsburg, VA 23185

McDonald's customer service

On the 22 June 2019 at 12.40pm I ordered a Fillet Fish medium meal with a fudge sundae. I paid for my order and moved to the counter awaiting my ticket order numer 160. I finally received my order and asked the customer service girl for a spoon. she ignored me and continued to serve other customers. I said to her "all I need is a spoon" she responded "a [censored]en spoon, here now get the [censored] out of my face" i said "excuse me, you shouldn't be using that language as a customer service person" she responded "I don't give a [censored] don't order here". I went to the cash payment area and asked the staff "could I please see your manager" I spoke with Hendrix Foliola and mentioned what just happend and I don't appreciate being spoke to like that at all and especially in front of a crowded area. He said "I'm sorry I will speak to her" I said I want your name and her name and I will be taking this further. The girl that displayed this inapproriate behaviour name is Hanan. I left feeling upset, I have been a customer for over 30 years and I have never experienced anything like this. I will like this issue to be addressed as soon as possible.

McDonald's drive thru and rudeness of employee at window

On Friday, June 21, 2019 around 8:45pm I went through the drive thru at my local McDonald's. It took at least 15 minutes of sitting and waiting, which was very disturbing being that this is a fast food restaurant. When I finally got to the window the young woman, tall African American, at the window gave me a single hamburger and I had ordered a double hamburger. I handed it back to her and told her it was wrong. She didn't apologize for the order being wrong. She simply turned around, told a group of Lacoste-workers something and then they all started laughing and talking. I waited another 8 to 10 minutes. Finally I blew my horn and she gave me the revised order and with a smirk on her face she said, "what is your problem'? I in return said, "You all are too damn slow'! At this point she started to laugh historically, and turning to her co-workers making comments and continuing to laugh. Then she looked at me and sarcastically said, "Have a good day", at which I replied, "I will you stupid [censored]" as she continued to laugh turning towards her co-workers! I am 61 years old and felt compelled to cuss her out. I even wanted to throw my pop at her through the window! Somebody will eventually do that. Not to mention that she kept rubbing her hair and had no gloves on which is unsanitary. I will never visit this McDonald's again for fear of catching a case. It is over staffed with young people who could give less than a damn about customer service. Please pull the footage and take a look for yourself! And they are fighting for $15 hr, really! They shouldn't be paid at all with their dumb can't get an order right [censored]!

McDonald's product and customer service

Mc Donalds at 13th St Norfolk, NE 68701 Occured at 11:10 pm on 6/21/2019. I went through the drive-thru to get an ice cream cone. I had recently seen commercials reporting that the cone was on sale for $1 and, since I love the cones, I wanted one! The price I was quoted was $1.29. I said "you charge 29 cents in tax?!" They said no, the cone is $1.19 plus 10cents in tax. I responded that I had seen commerials saying the price was $1 and that the menu board I was looking at said $1. The drive thru person then said, oh, $1.19. When I got to the window, the clerk said, "$1.29. I said, no, the person who just took my order said $1.19. He said no, $1.29. I told him the menu board said $1.00. He repeated it's $1.29. I said well I have $1.19 and that is what I am going to give you. He said he would not give me the ice cream cone for $1.19. I told him I would be making a phone call, to which he said go ahead. I just left. This same situation happened to me last night too. 6/20/19. I don't know if the staff didn't get the memo or if they were hoping that customers wouldn't notice, and they were keeping the extra 10 cents. Now, a person could think that 10 cents (actually 20 cents - happened x2) isn't a big deal, I just don't like getting ripped off. What would I like to see and a resolution? Some free ice cream cones.

McDonald's management

I made a complaint the 12th of this month and it still isn't fixed. Brandon Lee Lovell is still employed. Why?
1. He and his girlfriend Cassie are cohabiting as husband and wife and working at the same store. They have 2 kids together. I wouldn't doubt that he goes home to watch the kids while on the clock.
2. He enjoys rubbing against young girls even with his hands. Police report done.
3. He sent picture (s) of his genitals to one female employee. His girlfriend Cassandra told him she didn't like her So he fired her.
4. He quits and comes back as manager all the time Why.
5. Conflict of interest and nepotism between him an his girlfriend. Not allowed anywhere else so why there. Casey's nor any other business allows this conduct.
6. Send him to the store in Cedar Rapids on 1st Avenue an 15th Street if he doesn't want to go then fire him no more conflict of interest or nepotism.
7. I'm not allowed to be in that store. Because the last 3 store managers didn't like me Trask Brandon and the New store manager.

Thank You for your time.
Harold E. McCormick

P.S. Brandon likes wearing size 15 shoes on size 6 feet at work. Notice this the last time l filed.
