We found this washer for two months. It keeps throwing codes and now it won’t even turn on. We are told we have to wait 10 days or more for apart and then they will schedule service to repair. We’ve already been without it for a week. We paid $1000 for this machine and it doesn’t work. We bought it because it was high capacity and now we are told you can’t fill it up to the top because it can’t handle it. I am a former builder and now a consultant working with clients with their new homes and remodels. I will certainly remember this experience with Maytag. My wife is a realtor with the top company in the Bay Area.
Desired outcome: I want to return the washer and dryer and get my money back. I will buy an LG or some other brand that doesn’t break within the first few months of service.

We’ve owned this washer for about two months and it keeps throwing codes. Now it won’t even run. We are told we have to wait at least 7 to 10 days for parts and then schedule an appointment. We’ve already been waiting a week for our appointment. We will be without this washer for about a month before it is maybe be repaired. Apparently it is prone to getting items caught underneath the agitator. This throws the driveshaft out out of alignment and causes major repair requirements.
