Lowe's delivery issues

Hello
Delivery problems from the Kanata store
I called Lowes to place a order on April 22 2016 at 11:00 pm, system crashed had to call back a few times and finally the next day someone was able to place my order with the quote which I had gotten at midnight which was quote number 1007602. Received two e-mails stating my order was placed by the Kanata store and the request number was 5558622 - April 23, 2016
Three days later we got a call from the Kanata store stating they were going to deliver all my items that I had bought for the remodelling of my bathroom which cost $1411.82 the girl on the telephone stated someone would contact us at home at [protected] the day before to confirm the time. We were not impress about the delivery schedule and also on the Internet site the first thing you see - FREE DELIVERY - and I was explained there would be a $75.00 charge because Canada Post cannot deliver my order. Today May 1 we received a call from Lowes Kanata stating there was a mistake in our delivery of May 9 because it should be postponed to May 16 my husband stated to the girl to discussed this issue with her supervisor therefore she put the call on hold and then about 5 minutes later she came to the telephone and told us someone would call us back we again we explained we had people coming on Saturday May 7 to start the demolishing. About 20 minutes after we got a call from the transport company and it was a recorded message stating our delivery would be Monday May 2 2016 between the hours of noon and two. Again 20 minutes afterward the girl at Lowes Kanata calls us back and stated there was a clitch in the system and absolutely not we were going to have our delivery tomorrow she also mentioned May 9 or 16 my husband was furious he asked to talk to her supervisor therefore he came on the telephone and he only knew about 10 minutes before my husband requested to talk to him. He stated well there was nothing they can do and it was a system error well that was not a good answer my husband told him enough is enough of playing games with and to ask one of his employee to take the van and deliver our order to Gatineau which is about 45-60 minutes from my residence. The supervisor stated not one of his employee is insured to drive the van...This is ridiculous we still have to wait for another calls from Lowes of another delivery date which now we are back with no delivery date even after the delivery company confirmed by recorded message we would receive the order tomorrow. The question is will we receive the order or will Lowes play games again . Nobody at Lowes played games when I put in my order everybody was happy to get my money
Please investigate this issue and also this is the last time we are going to shop at Lowes and especially make sure to tell our store to people we know because your delivery policy and client service fails to respect what you states on your internet site
Waiting for your response

I have had nothing but problems since buying a washer/dryer set from Lowe's from delivery to today. Spent over $1000.00 for the set, first they tried to bring me a USED washer (the one I ordered was out of stock, so they said) then had to go back to store 2-3 times to get it straightened out.
Then, today I put a load (3pair of jeans) in the dryer...no heat! This is less than 10 months old! Called Lowe's, they basically told me to go f#@& myself, because i didn't buy the extended warranty. The person on the phone actually told me "unfortunately, things aren't made as well as they used to be"! Well, I remember when a retailer would actually stand behind the product he sold and bend over backward to make a paying customer happy. I will never buy another thing from Lowe's again. Not even a light bulb. Home Depot or Menards, here I come!

Lowe's flooring

Me and my wife went in and picked out carpet that we like on 4/11/16 . We paid with cash and paid in full almost $2400.00 the flooring guy said there was a 48 hour time period to get carpet to installer then another 48 for installer to contact us. On 4/22/16 carpet showed up at my house, way later than what lowes rep told us, now this carpet is for upstairs all bedrooms, bathrooms ect. All of our furniture is down stairs in living room garage, I looked at carpet and seen it was not the carpet we ordered . I immediately called lowes and told him it was wrong and that I had new furniture coming in the next day, the lowes guy could not care less about the problem with this wrong carpet and new furniture ( did not give a ### attitude) I could not accept the wrong carpet so sent it away, next went to get my money that I paid in cash, and the same floor guy was arguing with wife about the carpet. I finally got my money and now it's 5/1/16 and still have no carpet . Now mind you I'm disabled walk with cane and can not move furniture. Me and my wife have been displaced for almost a month thanks to the not caring people at Lowes . I will never go back to Lowes and that is where I would go instead of the Home Depot . Now because of this I have to drive farther to go to Home Depot

Lowe's garden department

Lowes is known for its One Year Warranty on plants. That's one reason I have been buying my garden supplies there for years. On 4/30/16 I was in
a Raleigh Lowes to return three plants I bought that week. All three had died
within two days of planting. Withered up. and yes, We watered them.
Garden employee was called to return desk and stated Lowes no longer
offered the one year warranty on anything in the garden department except
shrubs and trees. I asked if Lowes would make good and was told no.
I left in a huff to the caustic reply of "have a nice day." Did Lowes notify me
anyone of this new policy. NO. Did Lowes have any signage in the store
notifying customers of this policy change. NO. It will be the last time I buy
anything from Lowes. The next day I was in Homedepot's garden shop.
I talked to the manager. He said their policy was still one year guarantee on
all plants sold by them and they looked foward to more business.
One other thing, I have on two occassions received sales materials via mail
and in local newspaper that Lowes was having a three-for-two plant sale.
On both occassions the stores did not know anything about it. A call to
corporate Lowes headquarters furnished the answer: "No, those stores
are not participating." You go figure. Shop someplace else.

On the advertisement flyer you get in the mail, it clearly states on the flyer AT PARTICIPATING STORES.

They are allowed to change their policy at any time. Refunds are a courtesy not a right. It is strange for a plant to wither and die within two days of planting unless the transfer of the plant was not done carefully. You have to make sure you read and understand the little plastic care insert before transplanting. You should never, ever, plant something the same day you buy it, no matter where you buy it. You keep it in it's pot, place the pot where you want to plant, and leave it for about 3-5 days to make sure it will acclimate to the area and sun filter of the place you have chosen.

Lowe's rude management, scam ads

I read about the manager Matt Mesropian in Meridian, ID. the guy has no business being a manager. Don't ask him any questions, he'll argue with you and claim he's doing his job. We ordered some items from pro-desk only to be told we get a discount but when it came time to ring it up - no discount. One clerk said we got 20% and another said 10%. when they couldn't agree, they called Mesropian. He treated us like we were the idiots. Even though the sale sign was above the items, we were told the sale sign was just a promo and the regular price (for months) was the sale price. What a scam!. When we have tried to return items due to damage because someone had opened it before, Mesropian treated us like we were at fault and criminals. We don't shop Lowe's anymore since Home Depot is just a mile more AND actually cheaper! The guy doesn't belong in management. When we talk to other contractors, the war stories are huge about this lack of management manager Mesropian. With him, the customer is always wrong!. Shoppers at Lowe's BEWARE - sales ads are retracted, sale signs are original prices, and don't put your case to Mesropian as he'll jump all over you.

Update by Mad in Meridian, ID
Apr 29, 2016 12:52 pm EDT

Lowe's is a nightmare. We ordered a dishwasher, paid for it and was told delivery and installation on a certain day. Delivered in garage by one group and then told a different guy would install. Called to find out and then told 3 weeks. Manager was Mesropian, too. We told them we were'nt going to wait 3 weeks and they could come and get it. The manager argued claiming we were told that in the beginning NOT! and treated us like we were stupid. He almost had my wife in tears. Then we were supposed to be charged for delivery and I had to go in store and argue again with this guy to get our refund. When I was trying to talk to him, he took telephone calls, helped other customers and cashiers, and acted like he didn't care what I was saying. Last time I'll go to Lowe's cuz that Mesropian guy is a real j***k!

Lowe's thieves

I have ordered $200 worth product from Lowe's and received payment confirmation email but there was no tracking number and it was quite suspicious. Few weeks later I contacted them and asked about my order and they said that my order was no more in stock and that I have to wait additional 2-4 weeks. Asked for a refund and they stopped replying to my messages.

Lowe's terrible management

I was hired on the spot to be a temp customer service rep in lawn and garden in Meridian ID under the disguised management of Andy Kirkendall. I didn't get their required computer training (computers down), not one manager introduced themselves or their positions, no communication system training to find managers so got to walk all over store looking for them, got in trouble for not knowing rules and processes. Got yelled at by peers already known as store bullies, listened to the stupid sexual comments, got chewed out because I couldn't lift what the men lifted, after filing a grievance, I got snubbed, schedule reduced and the most petty treatment from upper management. The kicker is when I went to shop (off duty) at another store to pick up 3 items and leave, the arrogant manager there named Matt Mesropian, chewed me out and accused me of pushing a man down in the isle - days earlier and claimed I was an embarassment to Lowe's. told me how "Andy was right" Unbelievable! if they couldn't find something, they made it up. Matt Mesropian is the rudest, most arrogant manager I have ever seen. I heard war stories about him before and he proved right. filed a complaint with corporate and no response. 5 people quit in the short time I was there. Very much a 'good ol boys group" if you suck up to them. Everyone so fault finding and complaining about everyone else behind their back. They promise you so much in your interview and then quickly change it once you're hired. I have a Master's degree in business and just wanted a quick temp job for the summer. I have never seen such lack of organization, poor communications, hostile work environment as Lowe's.

Lowe's water heater purchase and installation

Bought water heater and installation through Lowes 800 number in October 2015. Installation was done incorreclty and would not pass county inspection. It is now April 2016 and installation is still not resolved. I have spent dozens of hours on the phone with the Lowes customer service and contractor installation service. These people have no customer service skills! I have been treated rudely, lied to, screamed at, and threatened. And the problem is still not fixed. They have damaged my property and refuse to refund. And they refuse to escalate. The issues stop with the first line call center supervisors. It is beyond my comprehension how a company this large has such slack controls of what happens and ow their employees treat the paying customers. I will never spend another dollar at Lowes!

Lowe's bathroom remodeling

Do not use Lowes as a contractor!

On June 23, 2015, my life and my son’s life was turned upside down causing not only unnecessary stress to us but, causing me to incur thousands of additional dollars in costs due to the construction of the bathroom. On June 23, 2015 I initiated an agreement with Lowes to remodel a 5X7 bathroom. I paid in full $14, 913.00. My son and his wife were supposed to move in to this condominium at the end of August as the bathroom was to be completed in 15 days of actual work or by the agreed upon date of August 15th.

The events of the last 5 1/2 months were perpetuated by the poor and ineffective project scheduling and by the contractor hired by Lowes. However, it always seemed that Lowes had the back of the contractor and not us the customer who had paid in full the entire cost of the bathroom renovation prior to the start of the construction. The guarantee of satisfaction we signed with Lowes on June 23rd 2015 had no effect on the construction. Therefore, after deliberate consideration and consultation it is obvious that the bathroom renovation was not completed to expected and reasonable standards of satisfaction.

5 1/2 months’ later the bathroom was never completed to expected and reasonable standards of satisfaction. Examples of the extremely sloppy workmanship include: The door and door frame should have been replaced with a quality door as agreed to in initial contract. Door is damaged, poorly spray painted so its surface is like sandpaper and the frame is damaged too so that the correct hardware could not be installed. Old rusted hinges were reused with caked on paint of years of use. The threshold is not the marble one we selected and it is the wrong color. The bathroom is beiges and browns and the threshold is an orange composite material. The wall and the tile molding was never completed behind the vanity. The grout is coming out from between the tiles in the shower. Instead of re-grouting the tiles calking was use on the surface only. The ceiling has gouges in it from when the bathroom was demolished and the light fixture was removed. The vent fan does not sit flush against the wall due to a wall that is not vertical. The light switch was poorly installed and now it cannot be aligned. Due to the inexpensive door when the towel bars were connected to the door the door was hollow so they could not be anchored correctly.

Other expenses we incurred were my son's 2 months’ rent in his Manhattan apartment since the timeline for the renovation changed from the end of August to the end of November. And you can’t move into an apartment that has no toilet. (Expense of $3, 358.00) Also… *** You have to see the photos of the mess in the apt. Nothing was covered. Everything is covered by a layer of dust. Floors, walls, windows, all the furniture, television, bedding, couches all appliances and more. In the middle of the living room is a 4-foot pile of bathroom debris (tile, floor, wall board, ceiling, plumbing and probably asbestos & lead too. The floors were left in such a damaged condition due to the contractor's dumping the demolition refuse into the living room that we needed to scrape the damaged floors for $2, 126.00. And finally the couches were discarded because the debris that covered them and it was not worth the risk to use them. Their replacement value was about $1800.00 In all we are requesting compensation in the amount of $ 22, 197.00 without the cost of painting the entire apartment that is covered with dust that probably contains asbestos and lead.

Photos are available if you contact me at [protected]@aol.com.

Lowe's disregard for veterans at bellingham, ma store

Home Depot has a policy (as does Lowe's) to provide a 10% discount on purchases made in the store.

The Bellingham Store refused recognize me as a veteran after showing my Veterans Administration Card. I am a combat Vietnam veteran. The store claimed I was not a veteran and only active duty personnel are valid for a 10% discount. Cashier Joy JSD428 was polite but appeared totally ignorant about veterans. Her manager appeared the same as the cashier - ignorant and no idea on the subject of veterans.

Other Home Depot stores kindly recognizes I am a qualified veteran via my Veterans Administration card.

Please correct this situation in Bellingham or you will lose many veterans to Lowe's in the area.

Regards

Lowe's throwing away plants

I went to Lowes today to get some plants and saw a rose bush in the corner near the dumpster. I asked one of the sales representative why it was there, he told me that it was being thrown away. When I peeked into the dumpster I saw some more plants that were thrown away. I asked them if I could have them and they said no. I talked to the manager and he said that they cannot give them away it is company policy.
I don't understand what kind of company policy it is. If you are throwing away plants in the dumpster after getting the refund from the company, why can't you give it away and once they are in the dumpster what use are they for the store.
Throwing away the plants is one thing. Why throw away the plastic containers in the dumpster. Why can't they recycle them. I am very sad that a good company like Lowe's is doing something that is not helping the nature.

Once they have received credit from the nursery for the plant they have to be disposed of. It's in the contract and they are legally bound. Usually if the dumpster is outside the fence, you can just take them.

Lowe's mts lawnmower 2.1

I purchased a lawnmower last April 28 2015 from Lowes Garden Supply Morris Avenue RT 82 Union NJ . They wouldn't assemble this lawnmower and ask for 50 dollars. I purchased it took it home and put it together. The oil they gave me was shoddy and it never lasted the 2 month period. I took this back and Lowes charged me 120. dollars to repair and wanted me to pay for it. I told them about the 2 year warranty on the lawn mower . It was in the warranty it came with I registered it online. I filed a complaint to the Union County Consumers Affairs in which they send the complaint and Lowes hasn't called since. Beware purchasing things at Lowes. Even when you use AMEX Green these shoddy corperations think they are above the laws. NJ states a lawnmower with a warranty of 2 years is that of 2 years including oil and engine parts involved. It was never gasoline in which they argued and insisted the 120 dollars. 20 dollars paid to the technician and 100 dollars towards Lowes Inc.

Lowe's service

I went to Lowe's in Wichita, Ks. to purchase four table legs and 1 piece of peg board. I am in my sixty's and have really painful knees which makes it hard to walk. Using a basket to push so I can lean on it makes it a little easier to get around in stores.
I found the table legs I wanted and after some walking up and down isles looking for the peg board, and passing a few employees on the way. Yet not one employee ask if I needed help or if there was something they could help me with.
I finally stopped one young man and ask where the board might be, he pointed and said on the back wall and walked off. Ask nothing about helping or getting me help.
After walking up and down the back wall I did not see what I wanted. After several minutes I found someone else and stopped him and again ask about the peg board. He said "it's down here" walked down the wall, pointed it out to me and kept right on walking. Again, not offering any help what so ever.
I wanted one piece of peg board and wanted it cut in half. After looking for employees, which all seemed to disappeared, and my knees hurting more and more with each trip I decided to go somewhere else.
Against my better judgement I went up to pay for the table legs. The young man checking me out did ask if I had found everything okay. I then told him "no" explained what I had wanted and how I could not get any help. Thinking he would call someone and maybe get someone to help. WRONG! He said "okay, that will be $25 and 26 cents. Took my money without another word and moved me on.
I thought about taking the table legs back in and getting my money back but I didn't, but I did tell my husband when he got home and decided that I will now shop at Home Depot or any other Home Improvement/Lumber Yard here in Wichita. But I will not return to Lowe's where the people are rude and uncaring, and that's if you can get their attention.
I'm really glad I didn't faint or have a heart attack, I would have died before any of them would have noticed. And that would have been only because they had to move me out of the way to push a cart through.

Lowe's excess materials

I had a pool deck built by lowe's contractor. Sales man came to my house took measurements (Never said it was a kit) lowe's contractor came out later he measured (This contractor through lowe's put up 3500.00 vinyl privacy fence, following year was windows and doors). All unused unopened materials were returned to lowe's and I was given a credit refund)

Deck wasn't built yet, first bill came in december 2015 nothing broke down as to cost of materials etc. The contractor had the materials delivered january 2016 and was placed on the side of my house..
April (2016) the contractor began the project. I had several square patio blocks that I wasn't using. He said they would look better then using the quick create, I told him go ahead use them.
All unused and unopened material was placed on the pallet with the seven (7) bags of unused quick create, he placed three (3) packages of unopened vinyl spinals (Used on the stair railings) three (3) uncut 6ft composite boards and a box of vinyl caps.
Once the deck was completed the contractor said he would have lowe's come pick these items up, possible credit to me but he was unsure how it worked.
I called lowe's a few days later to find out when pick up was so I would be home when they came.
On thursday april 7, 2016 lowe's came out. I asked him who the refund/store credit worked he said he did not know. At 4:30 pm I received a telephone. The lady introduced herself stated the drive said something about a refund to her, it was at this time she said there is no refund/store credit...
I informed her I paid for these items she said no I did not it was a kit. I informed her I wanted to speak to a manager derrick very nice however not resolved.. Said I only paid a penny for the quick create (I seriously doubt that).. If this was the case I would have kept all materials.
Lowe's is going to resell these items, that I paid for. At no time was I never informed this project was a kit. If this was a kit it would contain x, y, and z and belong to customer. Also I would have had the contractor use the quick create instead of my blocks! This just is bad business

I spoke to several competitive companies in jefferson city without mentioning lowe's name they agreed these items would be the customers...

All I want is the items back as listed, store credit or refund..
Not a penny a bag for seven bags of quick create either

Lowe's flooring chipped after 2 years and they would not provide warranty

Lowes on Higley in Mesa, AZ: I don't think the flooring we purchased just three years ago is listed but this is close. It started chipping around the edges and so now I have to cover the floor with rugs to keep our socks and slippers from snagging on it. The warranty said somewhere from 20 - 30 years and my husband specifically asked if we could use it in a mobile home in Mesa, Arizona. We were told yes, many people do very successfully. Well, now that it is chipping, Lowe is saying all kinds of things may be why, specifically because we installed it ourselves and they suggest the floor wasn't level, and it isn't good in mobiles/park models (That isn't what we were initially told). It is only between two cupboards and our whole mobile was levelled prior to. The floor is solid. That is a cop out and they won't do anything. Less than three years for a flooring to last as it started last year. Unacceptable. If you bought at Costco they would at least stand behind the product and make the manufacture compensate you. Not Lowes, just simply not interested. Please help spread the word - the manufacturer's warranty means nothing unless you get Lowe's to install the product. Lowe will wimp right out and not even offer to get help from the manufacturer. Buyer Beware!

Lowe's cannot get reimbursement

I submitted a claim for reimbursement for an ice maker in a Samsung refrigerator that I purchased from Lowes in Oct 2015. When I call Lowes Advantage I am always told that they need additional documentation. They have never notified me via email or tele to inform me that what was submitted was incorrect.
I submitted everything that I was told to submit in Oct 2015 and yet they want something else or a different version of document submitted.
The latest email that I sent to them with more required documentation was "stuck" in the system when I called today.
Next call will be to the NC Attorney Generals office. Worst customer service ever and what a waste of money!

Lowe's service or lack of help/ service from lowe's employees

A brand new house, requires many visits to home improvement stores for every reason, unfortunately my experience at Lowes has been of the biggest disappointment; once I had requested help finding the outdoor lighting boxes I had selected from the displayed ones, not only I was given the wrong ones but was also denied holding the large boxes at a register, I had a full cart & more shopping to do. On a second visit I was told the window blinds I wanted were out of stock when I was seeing the boxes with the item # on the top shelve! Another time I was told the did not carry garage door decorating hardware when I clearly had seen it on lowes website. Yesterday, I asked for physical help to load 98 landscaping blocks onto a cart, I was told at the register to bring them a sample of the two different stones I wanted! Why? All I needed was a person physically able to help me get the stones loaded on the push cart, purchased and out the door! Please! The employees used to be very customer oriented, not any more. This Mount Dora store needs to retrain the employees. The Lowes in apopka is right across from the Home Depot and you can see how willing the staff is to get ones business.

Lowe's new water heater installation

On March 5, 2016, I ordered a new Water heater and installation services from Lowe's via its online site. The site directed me to call the specified number for an install. All went smoothly and the customer service agent, Jess, was very kind. We were informed that the heater would not arrive until the 21st of the month. But, we were told that this was one of the best heaters so we agreed to wait and paid for this transaction, $1199.85, which, according to Jess and our understanding, included the new water heater and installation charges. At this point the transaction was complete and Jess emailed us a copy of our invoice (included). A couple of days later, we received a call confirming our purchase and install from Lowe's and the plumbers, American Plumbing Services, and again were told that the heater should be arriving on Monday, March 21, 2016 and to expect an install date of Tuesday, March 22, 2016. After our 2 1/2 week wait, we finally received a call from the plumber stating that the heater arrived and he would come to our home on Tuesday, March 22 to install the heater. Upon their arrival the plumber, Nick, went to our install location and proceeded to tell us that it would cost us $650 for him to do the install. Do we want him to continue or not? I was confused and mentioned that we already paid for the install. He informed me that this would be extra expense on top of what I already paid. I was shocked and asked why in which he proceeded to explain that this was necessary in order to bring it up to “code”, this is the extra cost. I asked why were not informed of this before and he replied that he didn't know, as he did not see the install location site prior to this date. I replied that the plumbing company had known about this install over two weeks ago and why an assessment was not done before the install date. He explained that it wasn't his responsibility to set up an assessment, but Lowe's should have done so. I proceeded to call Lowe's and spoke with Chris Kulina.

In brief, Chris expressed that because we ordered over the phone, a prior install date assessment was not required. But, if we had bought it in the store, we would have had one. So, the fault lay on us for ordering from their online site. I then questioned why it mattered whether I ordered online, over the phone, or in store…the same install needs to take place. Chris' response to me “If the customer doesn't ask the right questions we aren't required to give them an answer!” I proceeded to ask if they expected the customer to know all the questions to ask…he replied by asking if I wanted a refund. My family had already been with out the use of hot water for two and a half weeks so I explained to him that I would talk it over with my husband. In the couple of minutes that I took to try and explain things to my husband, Chris had called and told the plumber, Nick, to stop on the install. Not wanting to wait any longer, we decided to go ahead with the install in hopes of contacting Lowe's and trying to work something out with them. Chris immediately called back and said that we need to pay “right now” or Nick will not proceed with the install. My husband asked if we could please be billed as we were not expecting the extra cost and needed to work out payment arrangements. Chris replied that it is “company policy” and there would be no install with out the upfront payment. We were forced to put the unexpected charges on a credit card.
My husband then spoke with Clyde Munson to ask for an itemized invoice so that we can see exactly what we were being charged for. Clyde said that he would put one in the mail for us. My husband proceeded to ask if we could be emailed the invoice so that we would be able to identify the charges right away. After all, the plumber was able to add up our charges via his phone within 30 seconds so there should be a detailed bill available. Clyde replied that he could do that right away. Later that evening there was not an email. The next morning, March 23, 2016, my husband spoke with Clyde again. Clyde said he was waiting for the itemized listing from Nick, the plumber, and would be receiving the document that morning. He would then send us an email copy… as of today, March 29, an email was never received.

Yesterday, March 28, we received the hard copy of the invoice through the mail. I am not sure what can be done at this point. But, I would like to speak with someone in person that might be able to hear us out and look at the documentation we received. If a company fails to do something that they are supposed to do, the customer should not be the one penalized for the actions. Furthermore, after receiving the invoice and getting other professional opinions, we are not seeing the extra $653.00 worth of work. I understand that the extra $653.00 may not present any substantial hardships for Lowe's, but, for our family this was a very difficult set back for us financially. I was really surprised at this type of service from such a prominent national chain store. Please let me know whom I may address my concerns to. Thank you so much for taking the time to hear me out. I hope we can resolve this situation quickly.

Below is the original invoice.

Lowe's bosch ascenta dw lemon

We ordered this dishwasher from Lowes (first mistake) in late May 2015. It was finally installed in late July. By August there was a drainage issue and odor problems. In late August a repair person fixed the drainage pipes. Still had drainage & odor issues. In September the pump broke. In October, part came & was replaced by another repair person. Within a week-in November- the machine would not work-it gave an Error message and would not function. In December another repair person came. He said the machine needed a new mother board and some other part but might work till parts came. It didn't. Error message and non functioning dishwasher again. In January 2016 parts came for the repair scheduled for March 4. We were notified by Lowe's in early February that Bosch had classified machine as a lemon and were going to exchange it. It is now mid March. NO replacement dishwasher. We’ve had a run around from at least 5 different Lowe's "managers' and "assistant managers" who now want to take out the nonfunctioning dishwasher while they attempt to deal with Bosch for replacement ..which means if their history is any indication-a hole in my kitchen for another year-if I’m lucky! What a nightmare. I wish I had never left Sears, never left Whirlpool products and wished I had functioning dishwasher! I would not recommend this dishwasher or going through Lowe's. PS We did buy the extended warranty...

Lowes appalling warranty services.
Lowes doesn’t properly insure that their repair vendors are vetted for proper repair knowledge, an inexperienced appliance repair company was sent on Dec 23, 2015 that misdiagnosed the problem with our dish washer and ordered the wrong part. It took them one month to order the part and return, and after installing the part the dishwasher starting leaking later that evening.
Lowes then sent another company on Jan 29, 2016 that correctly diagnosed the problem, but found the tank unit cracked and subsequently unrepairable.
We then had to wait until Feb 19, 2016 for the warranty division to send out a debit card for the amount of the replacement, we were not given the option of a cash settlement, and were locked into purchasing from Lowes once more.
Finally a replacement dish washer was delivered on Feb 26, 2016. Two months after the initial repair.
We are very unhappy towards Lowes customer service; they were completely void of any concern or apathy towards us during this two month service nightmare.
No one should have to wait two months to have an appliance repaired or replaced under warranty.
And no one should have to pay another $140.00 to have the replacement installed. After enduring such horrendous treatment.
Our obligation now is to warn others of the appalling treatment we had with Lowes, and spare other consumers of the same abuse.
Rest assured; we will never be a Lowes customer again. And regret the many thousands of dollars spent with them over the years.

Lowe's carpet installation

My wife and I purchased carpet at Lowes in Paragould, Ar. We chose the best carpet available hoping it would be the last time we need carpet. The estimator did not come when scheduled and when he did arrive it was two days after the date he said and three hours late. My wife had canceled an appointment to be there and was upset she had to wait three hours for him. Lowes called and we went and paid for the carpet and installation. Lowes said it would be two weeks. Lowes called and said the carpet was in and the installer would arrive in two days. When the installer arrived he said the estimator did not measure correctly and we would need more carpet and pad. We paid more money and waited two more weeks. The carpet arrived and the installer called twice and changed the installation date. When he finally arrived he was two hours late. He knew nothing about carpet installation. Had to borrow extension cord, utility knife and several other items from me to do the job. He did not have a carpet stretcher or tape. He had know idea what he was doing. Stayed until 11pm trying to finish one of the three rooms I was having carpet installed in. Had to have them come back three times and the seams are terrible. $4500.00 of carpet shot to hell. Will have to have replaced by another company. Also to much pad (one full roll) and Lowes will not take it back. The installation company tried to help, but they are out of state and use sub contractors that they know nothing about. I will not by from Lowes again if it requires installation of any kind.
