2021 KIA Telluride EX
Bought a used 2021 Kia Telluride with 25k miles and since we've purchased the vehicle the heater only works at max temperature. If you try to set the thermostat at any temperature below max you get luke warm or outright cold air. It also happens everytime the vehicle has to stop at a stop sign or stop light regardless of what the temperature setting is on.
The vehicle has been to the dealership a number of times over the last year where they've replaced the thermostat and radiator with no improvement. The dealership seems unable to diagnose the real issue or they know what the probelm is and refuse to admit their is an issue. Each time I get the vehicle back and read the paperwork they say the vehicle's heating system is operating normally. However, they're outright lying because the only way you are getting any heat is on high and high only. There's no midrange and still continues to blow cold air at idle or anytime the vehicle comes to a stop.
Desired outcome: The vehicle is fixed correctly or KIA buys back the vehicle at full purchase price. KIA needs to admit to the design flaw and fix it or face a class action lawsuit!!!!
KIA Sorento 2014
On October 12, 2023, I was washing the hood of my Pearl White, 2014, KIA Sorrento, when with no warning or any signs of a bubbles etc. in the paint, the paint just slid right off in three separate places on the hood. I have read 100’s of complaints today concerning this same thing, and especially with the Pearl White Paint. Apparently KIA is not accepting responsibility for this. My SUV only has about 85,000 miles on it and I had actually hoped it would be my last vehicle. KIA should be made to paint my vehicle.
2018 Kia Soul
My car has been stolen twice and is currently in the shop. I am filing a claim for the lawsuit that is for this issue.
I called Kia this morning to ask if they could do the software update to prevent this car from getting stolen. I was told that this car was not eligible and he could not tell me why. That means there is nothing that I can do accept put a wheel lock on it which I should not have to do. You need to fix this because I am going to fight the little $6,000.00 settlement that you are offering. Obviously you are a corrupt company that only looks out for your money instead of the consumer. You were the ones that created this mess now fix it. I want you to take back this car and give me my money back like Nissan did for my Altima. They did the right thing and you are not. I will not continue to pay for this car to be stolen on a regular basis because you guys screwed up.
Desired outcome: Take back the car and reimburse me for what I paid for it.

Brought the 2016 Kia Optima because the engine light was flashing. Richard told us not to drive the car. It would take 3 to 4 weeks to diagnose what is wrong with out Kia making us to rent a less that perfect a rental car from Enterprise. We are on a list to have the diagnosis done on the car. The car was purchased from Sunset Kia in Venice, Florida. We are also on a list to get a loaner maybe 5 or 6 people before us. Totally unacceptable.
We need the car or a loaner immediately. We are Kia customers and we have purchased many Kia automobiles from Sunset Kia.

I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent purchase of a Kia Sorento 2023, AMU 698, from your dealership at Tiang Hooi Automobile SDN BHD in Ipoh, Perak.
The day after taking possession of my Kia Sorento, on 18/03/2023, I encountered recurring issues with the vehicle's sensors, resulting in abrupt loss of acceleration while driving. I immediately contacted the salesperson in charge, who advised me to turn off the engine for 20 seconds and then restart it. Following this advice, the warning signals disappeared after two attempts. Unfortunately, these incidents persisted regularly over the next two months.
Despite adhering to this guidance and making an appointment in May 2023, the warning signals continued to disrupt our journeys, leaving us concerned for our safety. The car refused to accelerate during these episodes, leading us to stop the vehicle and contact Kia representatives for assistance. We were instructed to bring the car to the service center for inspection, which took several days to complete.
Upon its return, we were informed that the issue had been resolved as it was attributed to a sensor problem. However, the problem resurfaced within a short span of three months after the initial purchase, and our confidence in the vehicle's reliability waned.
Despite three attempts by the service center in Ipoh to rectify the matter, the issue persisted and Mr Andy, the person in charge of Tiang Hooi Automobile SDN BHD referred the matter to Kia's service center in Kuala Lumpur, Puchong, on 07/09/2023.
The service center in Kuala Lumpur identified the issue as a faulty throttle pedal and allegedly installed a new one. Furthermore, it was suggested that the problem now lay with the car's throttle pedal. Allegedly, a new throttle pedal was installed on 25/09/2023, but unfortunately, this replacement did not resolve the Kia Sorento's ongoing issues.
Regrettably, even after this alleged replacement of the throttle pedal, the problems with my Kia Sorento remain unresolved. I was advised by the service center that the issue now pertains to the car's wiring, and the matter has been escalated to the headquarters for further action. The ordering and approval of parts are expected to take an additional 30-40 days.
At this point, my Kia Sorento has been in the service center since September 10, 2023, and today, on October 6th, 2023, the issue remains unresolved. Considering that we purchased the vehicle in March 2023, this extended period of service and recurring issues is deeply concerning.
I have been informed that the required parts may take up to another 30 days to arrive. It is distressing that a car I purchased just six months ago has spent nearly half its time in the repair shop due to persistent faults, dating back to the day of purchase.
My primary concern, in addition to the ongoing inconvenience, is the safety of my vehicle. It is troubling to consider driving a car with a history of accelerator and throttle pedal failures, and it raises serious doubts about the car's safety for me and my family.
I urge you to consider the gravity of this situation and the loss of trust I have experienced in the safety and reliability of the Kia Sorento I purchased. Given the extent of these issues and the safety implications, I respectfully request a replacement vehicle that is free from these defects.

white pearl paint not adhering to car, chipping off
I have a 2015 Kia optima low miles and the paint has been chipping off for several years. The first time I paid out of pocket the next time I contacted Kia they did pay for the repairs but not before a hassle of running around getting estimates and pictures.
Now here we are again, They know this is an issue as they have paid for it once and I have 5 more spots chipping away on the passenger door, top and hood.
This is disturbing and they refuse to help or recall the paint, as they recalled the white pearl paint I am referencing for the [protected] kia. Missed it by1 year as mine is a 2015. This is a ongoing issue with the white pearl paint and must be addressed.
Desired outcome: Desired outcome as I have told them before would be to repaint the car in totality as they are aware of the problem. Not just painting increments.

my car had an engine problem, kia of atlanta has had it for over one month.they did not contact me, when i called they said the engine had to be replaced. i had talked to the area rep who said the engine would be covered. the kia place said they would not replace the engine. the computer says there is many engine problems. my daughter had a similar problem with the same year car, and the engine was replaced in athens ga. maybe my kia place cant afford to do my job.

On the 19th of September 2023, I took my Kia Seltos Ex+ for servicing at your Eswatini franchise. After collecting the car, I discovered issues relating to the gearbox which were not present before service. Kindly note that the car is less than two years old and this service was its third.
I then took the car back to have these issues rectified only to experience the following traumatic events;1. I discovered that my signature had been forged by one of the employees for them to process the invoice. Please not that this invoice had not been shared with me for signing. even though I had asked for it to be emailed to me.a) I will be filing a lawsuit against KIA as forging a signature is a criminals offense.2. The Foreman who was meant to check my car for the initial issues i had brought it in for post service reversed onto a steel post; damaging the back bumper slider and rear. A police report showing error on the employee's side is in my possession.3. To date, my car has not been returned to me and its repair status is unknown.
Kia has not been forthcoming with information or remorseful regarding any of the listed issues.
This was my first service with Kia Eswatini, after buying the car in Hatfield I have been getting it serviced at Nelspruit; where I have not have issues.

Motor recall payment
Kia issued me a check back in April and I never got it I called back in August and reissued to wrong address negligence on their part here it is October and I still have no check I have spoke with three different managers with no resolution I asked to speak to manage superior and he refused told me to write a letter and it is just going ti delay me getting check! I asked that check be sent to me with tracking to ensure that it is sent to correct address and I am not waiting another three months to receive payment that may never come. At this pony o need a more sound or sure of my payment not just a word and to brushed off by cusimtr care for another six months

Paint chipping on 2015 Sorento
Started with a small speck and now is starting to peel. Paint delaminating. The dealership team just smiled and sad oh its over 3 years old VIN number 5XYKW4A7XFG575719 Had car just under year and purchased their maintanace agreement and Extra warranty package from Hutchinson Kia of Macon GA. Not only is the paint bad but so is the service. Dealership doesn't won't return customers in my thoughts as they were glad I came in to buy the car but their service and the way the car is starting to look will never recommed either. Have friend that has already bought 3 from them and is dissatifed as well. The extra money I paid amounted to almost 5000 and was told that for first year everything was covered and after that 100 for repairs. It was all a big lie.

Kia Sorento 2021
I bought the car in 2021 A brand new car, The car now got 130,000 KM Driven by a responsible driver and doing the regular maintenance on time.
I took the car to the dealer for a transmission oil change, few days after the transmission is gone.
The transmission is not available in North America yet! And the dealer do not know when we will be getting it.
The dealer just handed me an estimate for $10,396 dollars
My question is!
How can a car transmission go bad with a milage of 134,000 KM.
It took the dealer 76 days to find out about the issue after doing more than a few tests over 76 days. even the dealer was surprised!

Engine failure not covered
2013 Kia Sorento. I bought it as a rebuilt in 2016. Kia covers safety issues only. My engine seized while in traffic and I could have been injured or injured others. KIA has not responded to my first message. They have not helped cover any of my $7300.00 engine replacement. Nice I can post my views of KIA stating in my personal opinion. I have shared my thoughts with many and several now know not to buy a KIA due to quality and support.
Desired outcome: Kia help cover the costs. Give me the engine and I pay all other costs, or partial cost of engine.
2023 Kia Forte GT
I purchased a new Kia Forte & drove it for approximately 2 months & started having issues with it swaying on the road, scheduled a service at the dealership & was told it needed a front end alignment, had that done & drove it another 2 months or so it started doing it again, was even worse at swaying on the road so had it towed to the dealership & they told us it would be 3-4 weeks before they could even get to it so picked up the vehicle & scheduled it at another location, they said needs another front end alignment & tires was also told at time of purchase it had a bumper to bumper warranty then at time of repairs needing done they said not covered under warranty, I am a 62 year old woman who lives on a fixed income & this is my very first purchase of a new car & feel I have been taken advantage of tremendously, I need help on trying to get this resolved!

2019 Kia Sportage
My car was stolen on August 5, 2023. There was no recall in place for my vehicle for any anti-theft measures. I spoke with Kia today and they claim that I am not eligible for any compensation due to my car being equipped with an immobilizer. My car was stolen! Criminals are duplicating their key fobs and it is mostly happening with KIA. Criminals are a step ahead of KIA and KIA has no remorse for its customers. I have been a loyal KIA owner since 2014. I now have out of pocket charges for rental cars due to me maxing out my rental benefits with my insurance (due to kia taking so long to get some of the repairs approved by warranty) and a large deductible.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate some type of compensation to assist with the cost.

Pear White Paint
I have a 2020 Kia Telluride with a huge spot that the paint came off by the sunroof! Sounds like this is a common issue & needs to be addressed ASAP! I was shocked at all the complaints for this particular paint and learned it is discontinued. This is my first Kia vehicle! Kia should stand behind their vehicles, do the right thing and correct the problem!

I filed a claim with KIA in regard to my 2016 Optima leaking oil in May of 2023 under claim number [protected]. This is a widespread issue with KIA. They advertise 100K bumper to bumper warranty in Tv ads.
I had only 64000 miles on the car when this issue started. I constantly have to add motor oil to the engine. I have had to take the car to independent car repair shops to add motor oil. The independent shops say this a known issue. This is not normal oil consumption for car with this type of mileage.
All customer service at KIA tells me to do is have test conducted that are expensive at a KIA dealer. I would like them to pay for the valve cover gaskets to be replaced free of charge. This is a fair resolution.
There are a large number of KIA cars at Nationwide Kia in Timonium, MD that have destroyed engines due to running out of motor oil due to the valve cover gasket failure.
Non-delivery of accessories even after 1 year from purchasing car with full payment including accessories payment.
I have purchased Kia Carens from Celica Kia, Saltlake Sec-V branch, Kolkata and the car was delivered to me on 26.07.2022. While purchasing the car, I made full payment in advance for accessories also, however, during delivery, it was informed to me that following 3 accessories are not available in stock and request was made to me that, once these accessories are available, either I can go to the showroom for fitting of these accessories or technician will be sent to my place for fixing the accessories.

At the time of purchase, Subhankar was the Accessories Manager and after he left the company one Ms Papia Bhattacharya took the charge of Accessories Manager. They are reporting to Mr. Naveen Narula.
I have followed up with Subhankar during his tenure and subsequently following up with Ms Papia & Mr. Naveen but till date (after more than past 14 months) not got these accessories. I have a horrible experience with the kind of response I am getting. Request for intervention of Kia Motors for resolution of this long pending issue.
