I went to Capital Ford last Wednesday to get my vehicle checked. I had to wait almost a week before getting any information about my car. I had to call multiple times and even go in person to ask for details because no one from Ford would call me back. Finally, my service advisor, Adam, told me that I needed a transmission fluid flush to fix the problem. He said that if the flush worked, I would have to pay the full amount for it. But if it didn't work, they would use my warranty and I would only have to pay a $100 deductible for them to work on my transmission.
The next day, Adam called me back and said they had tested it, fixed the issue, and my car was ready. I paid Ford a total of $504.57 and took my car. However, as soon as I drove it on the highway, the problem came back as if nothing had been done to my car. I had to wait a few more days to bring it back in. When I finally did, Adam called me the next day and told me that he wouldn't service it or give me a refund.

I explained that my vehicle was my only transportation to and from work, and they kindly allowed me to continue using it until they could make the repairs on December 15th. I dropped off my vehicle on December 15th, and they said they would try to finish the repairs on the same day or by the 16th at the latest. When I called the dealership on the morning of the 16th, the service department informed me that they couldn't work on it because they needed to order a TSB part for the transmission. I decided to take my vehicle back from the service department, and they mentioned that they wouldn't be able to work on it until they received more parts. They estimated that the parts would arrive on December 18th, and I wouldn't be able to have my vehicle fixed until December 29th or January 5th, 2022.
